But it wasn’t
nothing
.

There was a series of dark lines
dripping down his hand.

“We need to
get that bleeding stopped,” she told him.

“You probably need stitches.”

“I told you, I don’t care about the cut
on my hand,” Cullen replied.

“I
want to get things straightened out between us.”

“Please,” she said, walking towards her
apartment.

“Come on upstairs so I
can take care of that mess.”

He followed her, grumbling about how it
wasn’t as bad as it looked.

Ivy went and inside and allowed Cullen to
come after her.

Soon, they were in her apartment and she
was turning on the lights as she went.

It struck her that this was a very dangerous thing for her to do if she
truly wanted to end things with Cullen Sharpe.

Having him inside her apartment was like
inviting a vampire into her home.

Now there was nothing to protect her from
his seductive ways.

“Wait here,” Ivy told him, handing him a
swathe of paper towels to hold on his injury, while she went to the linen
closet and found some gauze, medical tape, a bottle of peroxide and some
antibiotic ointment.

When she returned, she found Cullen
staring at a picture of Ivy at her graduation that was magnetized to the
refrigerator.

In the picture, she
was smiling and holding her diploma proudly.

“My mother snapped that,” Ivy said.

“She was so proud of me, you’d have
thought I cured cancer or something.”

Cullen turned from the picture and looked
at her earnestly.

“I wish I
could’ve been there,” he said.

“I
wish we’d met years ago.”

“You never would’ve even spoken to me
when I was younger,” Ivy said.

“Besides, you’re older than I am.”

“That’s not the point,” he said.

“What is the point?”

“The point is that I wish we’d had time
to get to know one another.

Time
before…before all this madness happened.”

“Unfortunately, we can’t change the
past,” Ivy said.

“I’m all too aware of that fact,” he
replied, watching her intently.

“Come sit down so I can take care of that
hand.”

She led him into the living
room and sat him on the couch.

Then
she kneeled in front of him and cleaned his wound with peroxide.

“It’s deep,” she noted, as she saw that
the puncture was a bit worse than she’d thought at first.

“I don’t care,” Cullen said.

“You’re a surgeon, you should be more
protective of your hands.”

“I’m not a surgeon anymore.”

Ivy shook her head at his
stubbornness.

After cleaning the
wound with peroxide and flushing it, she applied the ointment and then
gauze.

And finally, she wrapped the
gauze with medical tape.

“Is that
too tight?” she asked him.

“It’s perfect,” he said.

“And so are you.”

Ivy laughed and rolled her eyes.

“Now I’m perfect?

Wow, this is a departure for you,
Cullen.”

He leaned forward and took her hand with
his good hand.

“I’ve always thought
you were perfect,” he said.

“My
need to do what I do…it’s built into me, Ivy.

It’s got nothing to do with you.”

“So all that crap about teaching me,
disciplining me?

It’s not
real.

It’s just a game so you can
get your rocks off.”

Cullen frowned.

“It’s not a lie.

It’s real to me.

It’s what I need to do.”

“But why?

Why do you have to punish me?

Spank me?

Hurt me?”

He sat back slightly now.

“It’s just how I am.”

She rose to her feet.

“I think you should leave, Cullen.”

He got up, too.

“Tell me the real reason you left Las
Vegas.”

“I already told you the reason.

You and I can never work, Cullen.

You won’t let anybody in.

You always need to be in control.

It’s relentless.

Your compulsions will never be
satisfied.”

Ivy started to walk towards the door to
let him out of the apartment.

Cullen moved towards her now, stopping
her progress as he grabbed her around the waist from behind.

His lips moved closer to her neck, his
breath on her skin.

“I don’t think
it’s my compulsions that really scare you,” he whispered.

“I didn’t say I was scared.”

“But you are scared.”

She hesitated.

His hands on her body felt so amazing,
and his lips close to her skin was all she could think about.

Her brain was forgetting why she kept
pushing him away.

She couldn’t
remember why they were bad for each other.

It
feels so good.

He feels so good.

So
right.

I
can’t lose him again.

I need him to
stay here with me.

“I’m not scared,” she lied.

“I’m just pissed off.”

“I’ve kept a lot of secrets from you,”
Cullen said.

“It’s true.

My life has always been filled with
secrets, and until you came along, I’d never trusted anyone enough to share
them.”

“You’re still keeping secrets,” she
replied, as her heart beat faster.

His hands were slowly encircling her
waist, and he was drawing her in, pulling her closer to his warm, strong body.

“You know more about me than just about
anyone,” he told her.

“Why can’t
you see that?”

“I can’t be the next woman in a long line
of them, the next rerun in your screwed up soap opera.

How many submissives have there
been?

How many women have you
taught these special lessons to?”

He didn’t answer.

“You misunderstand.”

Ivy spun and faced him.

“Tell me.”

“I don’t know an exact number.

More than a few,” he said.

“But what you and I have is
different.

You’re my wife.”

“Not for long,” she said.

The thought of him spanking other women,
touching them, being intimate, doing those things that were supposed to have
been special between the two of them…
.It
made her
furious.

“Now get your fucking
hands off me, Cullen.”

He gave her a warning look.

“Don’t speak to me that way.”

“Or what?” she challenged him.

His hands tightened around her
waist.

“As long as we’re married,
you’ll play by my rules.”

“I don’t think so,” she said, but her
nipples were stiff and her pussy was already wet.

You’re
crazy
, she thought.

You
still want him.

You still want him
to treat you this way.

The truth
is, you’re just as insane as Cullen Sharpe.

No wonder you can’t stay away from him.

“Admit that you wanted to misbehave in
order to get my attention,” Cullen said, his voice a low growl.

“Spending time with Xavier
Montrose.

Insulting me.

Taunting me.”

“Fuck.

You.”

She annunciated the words clearly, and
enjoyed watching his nostrils flare.

Suddenly, like a dancing instructor, he’d
spun her again, twirling her so she was facing away from him, and then he’d
dropped to a sitting position on the couch, pulling her down with him.

She fell across his lap, just as he’d
intended.

Ivy squealed in surprise, as Cullen threw
her skirt up over her ass and began paddling her buttocks firmly.

“Enough of your disobedience,” he
growled over her protests.

She was wearing a black thong, but it
hardly covered anything.

Now that she was on his lap, her legs
splayed out, Ivy let go of fighting him.

Half her upper body was on the couch, her cheek pressed into the cushion,
hands gripping the fabric as Cullen quickly spanked her bare ass cheeks.

“Cullen,” she cried out.

Her face was flushed, her chest heaving.

It felt amazing.

She was so turned on she couldn’t take
it.

“What?” he asked.

“What do you want?”

His hand was upraised, waiting for her
reply before striking again.

She looked over her shoulder.

Her eyes told him everything he needed
to know.

She was so close to climaxing.

Cullen pushed her off, stood up and
unbuckled and unzipped his pants, dropping them.

“Stay where you are.

Right where you are.”

And then he was grabbing her hips and
ripping her thong off with one quick motion.

The sheer undies ripped in half.

Cullen stroked the head of his cock
against her soaking wet mound, making sure she was ready for him before
plunging inside.

Ivy cried out in ecstasy.

He filled her hole completely.

She was crouched on the couch with her
butt facing out, and he was fucking her doggy-style.

Her pussy was slick and wet with her own
juices as his thick pole slid in and out, while she clenched herself around him
like a glove.

He hammered her from behind, pulling her
hair as he slammed into her.

Cullen’s strong hand grasped her hips.

“Oh, God!” she cried out, as he spanked
her ass and shifted his hips into her.

Skin slapped skin.

The smell of sex was in the air.

“You need to be brought into line, don’t
you?” he said, pulling her hair and causing her head to tilt back.

Her scalp burned as she moaned out an
affirmative response to his question.

He slapped her ass again, and then rotated his hips into her over and
over, pounding her until she finally came.

Ivy’s legs shook as she moaned, crying
out, and the pleasure was inescapable and unbearable.

When she was done cumming, Cullen pulled
out.

“That wasn’t good enough,” he told
her.

She was breathing heavily, still crouched
on all fours, waiting for what he had in store.

Cullen’s fingers slid up her thigh and
then began rubbing her clit furiously.

“Oh, God,” she said.

“I’m going to come again.”

“No,” he said.

“Now you’re going to get fucked again.”

She nodded.

“I want to get fucked again.”

Her nipples were stiff and tender.

She’d been completely disarmed, disrobed
and her defenses were in ruins.

Ivy didn’t care.

He had broken her.

And now she could admit that she’d wanted
him to break her like this all along.

“You’re going to get fucked again.

But this time, you’re going to get
fucked in your ass.

You need to
take me in and deal with me.”

Her breath caught in her chest.

“I…I don’t know if I can…”

“You can.

And you will.”

He pushed her forward, spreading her
legs further apart on the couch and then spreading her cheeks.

He spit on her asshole and she felt the
cool wetness against her anus.

“Please,” she whispered.

“What if I can’t do it?”

“You can.”

He wasn’t allowing her to argue with
him.

Ivy hadn’t prepared herself for
this.

Cullen spanked her ass cheeks.

First one and then the
other.

She cried out,
moaning
as she got wet from his taking control.

One part of her mind was terrified of how
much she loved this feeling.

The
other part of her mind just wanted it.
