Her body visibly shuddered up next to mine. “Yeah, something like that,” she groaned.

“Do you trust me?”

“Yes. Very much and I feel stupid and naïve for doing so…so easily.”

“If I tell you I’m clean, would you trust that?”

“Clean?”

“Yes, from any STD’s.”

When her eyes widened with fear, I knew I’d better back down.

“Never mind. It was just something I wanted you to know.”

“You want to have sex without a condom?”

Truth is, I didn’t even know how to have this conversation. Once, when I was 16, I’d had sex without a condom. That was it. Never again. If there was one thing my piece of shit mother taught me…
Don’t be silly, wrap that willy.

“No,” I lied. “I just wanted you to know that if you ever wanted to—you’d be someone I could do that with.”

She nodded. “Ok. Thank you.” Her eyes closed and the wet lashes fanned out below her eyes. “Mac… I’d like that, but I can get pregnant still. I’m not fixed. I’m not on the pill anymore.”

I nodded.

She continued. “Unless you want a little Mac, probably not a good idea.”

No way. I’ve never wanted a little Mac. What kind of father would I be? What a fucking joke.

“We will keep the latex in play then,” I teased.

“Will I see you again when we return to the states?”

And there it was. Just out there lingering between us…suspended in the air. I remember when I was a kid, standing in a bakery when flour was delivered. A cloud of smoke slowly rose from the stacks of flour and it never seemed to settle. It was just there. That’s how her words were. Haunting me. Would this be our undoing? Had we already shared our last kiss, and I just didn’t know it? Was fate handing me a sick, twisted hand…and I really wasn’t going to be with her again.

A barrage of thoughts whizzed through my brain, scattering my thoughts even more.

“It’s ok, Mac,” she whispered, yanking me from zoning off. “I think maybe I should stop this now though.”

Oh, hell no. “No.”

“I’m not upset, but I need to stop this before my heart falls further.”

“I have nothing to offer you,” I whispered.

“Let’s just…”

“Shut-up, Sam.”

Her lips parted in shock. I didn’t waste a minute or give her a second to fight my poor word choice. But I didn’t want to chance hearing her say that she didn’t want to do this anymore either.

I gripped her hand, marched up the stairs, over to our towels, grabbed them along with her cabin key and then headed there, pulling her behind me.

“Shut-up?” she asked, her tone laced with anger.

A grin swept over my face where she couldn’t see. I knew that would piss her off. The man I really was, my bad-ass side, was about to make acquaintance with Sam. If I was going to lose her, I was going out on my terms.

“Yes, you heard me.”

“You told me to shut up?”

“Indeed.”

When she tried to tug her hand out of mine, I was prepared. If there was one thing I knew better than anything…it was women. My expertise. We were almost to her cabin.

“Mac, shut up? Fuck you!” She yanked harder. No go.

Releasing her hand and shoving her shoulders back against her door, I smashed my mouth over hers. Initially, she whimpered…from the force…yet her lips parted, welcoming my tongue. It was more aggressive at first, searching for hers, but the moment they found one another…our kiss…our mouths…melded into one. An undeniable magic floated between us. Something that I’d never felt before. The entire world faded away when I was with her…and without asking, I knew it did for her too. Every horrible memory of my past washed away in an instant with her presence…with her touch.

Suddenly her teeth came down on my tongue. My eyes flashed open. Hers danced with satisfaction as I wiped my bottom lip.

“Don’t tell me to shut up. It’s rude.”

After opening her cabin door, I jerked her inside, throwing the towels and whatever else was in my hands onto the sofa.

“It’s code. For stop talking now. Learn it, Sam.”

Droplets of water continued to dribble down her beautiful body as she stood before me. Wanting.

“You’re being different. Is this your way of pushing me away?” she asked insightfully.

“Samantha.” I paused. “When this cruise ends, when we part ways, I want you to know how beautiful and deserving you are. Your husband never tapped into the woman that exists, the woman inside of you. I intend to show you her in the next five days.”

Her pouty, little lips parted as she swallowed. Damn, that neck was so elegant and beautiful. I lost my train of thought.

“You mean, you plan to fuck me silly.”

I shrugged, leaning in and untying the strap around her neck, allowing it to fall in the front. “Yes, that too.”

Her eyes closed as my knuckles brushed over her already alert nipples. A shudder rippled through her body. God damn it! She was starved for love and affection. I could make her so happy… Could.

I knelt before her and inched her swimsuit bottoms off, discarding them. She already glistened beautifully…wet and ready. Before I got up, I ran my finger the length of her, plunging one finger into her.

“Aaah,” she breathed so softly I could barely hear.

As quick as that, I stopped and rose to my feet, removing my own suit. Her eyes flickered to my dick then back to my eyes. I fought the grin that nipped at the corners of my mouth. Everything about me intimidated her.

“Get on your knees.”

Her eyes rounded. “Pardon me?”

Softening my tone and my mannerisms, I brushed my knuckles down her cheek.

“Your knees, Samantha. Now.”

Her entire body convulsed with a shudder as a puff of air fled through her lips. She knelt perfectly before me waiting for…further instruction?

When her emerald eyes gazed up through her thick lashes, I saw nothing but green. Jealousy consumed me for any future man that would touch her. Any man who would taste her. Any man who was in her presence. I wanted to kill him now, yet I didn’t even know who he was. But I hated him.

“Is this what you want?” she asked, taking my cock in her fingers.

“Yes. Very much.”

Her tongue peeked out running the length of her lips. “I’ll try. Your dick is so tiny that it’s going to be like sucking on a straw.” A smile splayed out over her face, but the desire remained in her eyes.

I chuckled. “How about you pretend it’s a bloody Mary then. You sucked those down pretty good the other day.”

“Those taste really good, and I can swallow those.” She leaned forward tracing her tongue around the head.

“Baby…you’re gonna swallow this too.”

With her tongue still on my cock, her eyes flitted upward. I didn’t smile or blink. I was serious. This was the only way I could come inside of her.

“But this doesn’t come with olives.”

A grin twitched at my lips. “I’ll buy you an olive tree tomorrow.” I winked down at her.

Right after she smiled, her mouth opened and half my cock disappeared into her mouth. Fuck! The warmth of her mouth sent a tingling clear through my balls.

Her hand wrapped around the root of me and with every slight thrust of my hips, her mouth and hand came together in perfect rhythm. Immediately, I could tell I would come. What the living fuck type of spell did this woman have over me? My head fell back as a groan seeped from my lips. Coming two times in a matter of days…unheard of for me.

As her pace increased, her grip tightened and she fucking moaned. MOANED! And that with the warmth of her mouth, the friction of her palm…that shot me over the edge faster than I’d ever come in my life.

“Sam!” I warned and tried to pull out, but she gripped my ass and held on. Atta girl… Her throat constricted too as I accidentally pushed back too far.

“Ahh!” I grunted as I exploded, feeling her tongue move as she swallowed.

My knees swayed and nearly buckled. Jesus. When she pulled back, her dark green eyes were filled with want…desire, and yet she smiled as she wiped her bottom lip.

“I’ve never done that before,” she whispered.

“A blow job?” I asked with shock in my tone.

She pursed her lips. “Swallowed that shit.”

“That shit? That’s romantic,” I teased, pulling her up. “It was that good, eh?”

Her little shoulders jetted up and back down. “I didn’t like swish it around or anything, but it wasn’t too bad actually.”

God damn this woman was perfect in every sense of the word.

“Lie down,” I ordered.

Her brows arched up, and given she had no clothes on, I could visibly see her nipples harden before my eyes. Although it was about sixty degrees in here…

“Excuse me?”

“Enough of this you didn’t hear me shit, Sam. Now do as you’re told and lie down.”

Never in a million years would I have thought that she’d have submitted so easily. I knew she would eventually, I just feared I wouldn’t be around to see it. How would I ever be able to let her go?

Chapter 11 ~ Sam

The sun bore through the window, and my eyelids parted. Awareness hit me that I hadn’t woken through the night. I hadn’t had a nightmare!

“Mac?” I said, sitting upright excited to share the news with him.

He was gone. The cabin was empty. On the nightstand next to the bed was a long stemmed red rose, a bloody Mary and an overflowing bowl with at least fifty green olives. A little slip of paper lay beneath the rose.

See! That ‘shit’ does come with olives! I will miss you today. Please think of me and what I intend to do to you when I get back.

His words alone caused my breath to catch. Every part of me was already filled with anticipation. An eagerness to touch him and taste him again.

The pounding on the door startled me, but I darted toward it, hoping it was Mac coming back for a personal goodbye.

“What the hell? Is this a girl’s trip or not?” Juls snarled, pushing through and eyeballing the bed.

“Good morning, sunshine,” Kat said, winking.

“So? You get nailed again?”

“Nailed?” I asked Juls.

She picked up the red rose and jealousy crept into me. I didn’t want her touching anything he touched.

“Fucked. Call it whatever you want.”

“Juls, is it really any of your business?” Kat asked.

Juls sipped the bloody Mary, and I smacked her ass.

“Leave that alone. It’s mine.”

When she sat the glass down, she grabbed the note.

See! That ‘shit’ does come with olives! I will miss you today. Please think of me and what I intend to do to you when I get back.

She read it out loud.

“Oh my, Sam,” Kat giggled. “That turned
me
on.”

I grinned at her. “I’m going to get so hurt, you guys. I’m like a damn crackhead right now. I’m going to totally need rehab! He all but said that we would end when the cruise ends. Like ka-put!” I grabbed the Bloody Mary and downed it. Shit…it was spicy. My eyes watered…

“Fuck him!” Juls said, wrapping her arm around my shoulder. “And fuck Blake too because he said the same thing.”

The watery eyes from the spice of the Bloody Mary turned to legitimate tears pissing me off.

“Why does he have to be so perfect? So addictive?” I asked.

“Oh shut up,” Juls said. “He’s no more perfect than Blake. In fact, that boy knows exactly how to control the uncontrollable.”

I laughed at that. If anyone could control Juls, it would be a major feat accomplished.

The rose was so soft as I rubbed it back and forth beneath my nose listening to her.

“Last night, he actually said, and I quote, “Juls, shut up and get on your knees.” She excitedly squealed as if she was on a carnival ride.

My heart stuttered. Actually, I think it stopped for a second as I processed her words.

“You mean like to give him a blowjob?” I inquired, Mac’s words resonating in my head.

Juls fell onto the bed with her hand over her heart. “Yep. Then had the balls to demand me to swallow. As if I wasn’t going to.”

My stomach churned, as acid seemed to rise up my esophagus.

“Oh God!” Kat said, covering her face. “You guys are making this so hard.”

“What is up with Cody?” I asked, laying the rose down, my mind reeling with the thought of Mac and Blake using the same lines. Swapping stories.

“Nothing really. He’s pressuring. Propositioning. I told him I love Brady. We agreed on our own that we would hang as companions since you all partnered up with his besties. But then Thor threatened him, ruining any chance of anything anyway.”

“Mac threatened him? You mean that night by the pool?” I asked.

Kat shook her head. “No. I mean, I think Mac threatens him about three times a day.”

“Kat. I swear. I haven’t said anything more to him since that night.”

She dismissed my words with a wave of her hand. “It’s ok. Seriously. I’m sure when this is over, I’ll be glad. I do have a question.”

“What?” Juls asked propping herself up on her elbow.

“Would you consider a kiss an affair? I mean, is a kiss cheating?”

“Yes,” I whispered.

“Fuck no!” Juls said louder.

Shocked, I flipped my hair and stared at her. “Really? If Blake ‘kissed’,” I said throwing up air quotes. “Some girl today, that wouldn’t be cheating?”

“He wouldn’t. We agreed to be monogamous on this trip.”

Shit…another stab to the chest. Did these two guys plan this?

“But if he did?” Kat asked with a hopeful change in her tone.

Juls shrugged. “I’d probably twist his balls until he cried and apologized.”

Kat giggled and shook her head. “So, yes, it is cheating.”

“Kat, did you kiss him?”

“No. I wanted to. So bad. But, I turned away.” Her voice held disappointment. “Come on girls, we have an island to see and a tiki bar to hit!”

Juls and I threw each other a glance as Kat darted into my bathroom.

“What do we do?” Juls asked.

“I don’t know,” I whispered. “Keep them apart?”

She gave me a look that said something along the lines of
you are so stupid
. “Why can’t she do this? Don’t you think that now she will forever wonder? Maybe this would be good for her.”
