Fizzy Orange Bath Bomb
It’s fun for toddlers and kids to have a bath bomb that’ll fizz around their tub, leaving a beautiful scent and even a few rose petals. I suggest doubling up the amounts, so you can give some as gifts. These bath bombs contain oils that are safe for a child over 1 year of age.

HOW TO
1.
Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl, making sure that you mash the oils well into the powder.
2.
Press into an ice cube tray. Leave the tray at room temperature for a few hours so that the bath bombs can harden. You should get 2 or 3 small bath bombs (cubes) from this recipe.
3.
You can wrap your bath bombs in pretty remnant squares and tie with a ribbon for a cute gift. Store them in an airtight container for up to 3 months.

Remove from the heat and allow to stand for 5 minutes before adding the essential oils.

Baby Powder
Since talc, the main ingredient in most baby powders, is a proven carcinogen, here’s a safe and effective alternative.

Simply place all the ingredients in a shaker (a flour/sugar shaker is ideal).
2.
Store your powder out of direct sunlight for up to 6 months.

for a baby, use once a week; for a toddler 18 months and up, use 2 to 3 times a week
Storage:
8-oz. plastic bottle (an old shampoo bottle will do)
Shelf life:
6 months
1 cup liquid castile soap
½ tsp. jojoba oil
5 drops lavender essential oil
*
5 drops grapefruit essential oil

1.

Conditioner
I never used a conditioner on Lola until she was about 4. She has really thick hair, and because we live in a very dry climate, I give her hair a little “treatment” once a week as follows.
