The Doctor sighed, recognising that he had a mammoth task in front of him. Then he glanced at Steven as the latter asked, ‘Where are we going now, Doctor?’

‘You know better than to ask something like that!’ the Doctor replied. ‘I – and TARDIS – can promise you a journey, but...’
