“Wow, I didn’t know going that slow could feel that sensational,” I say.

“I moved slowly, wanting it to last as long as possible since you feel so damn great, but sorry, it actually made it that much harder to hold out. I don’t know how I’ll ever let you leave this room.”

“It felt perfect, Dylan, and let’s not leave this room.”

“You are the coolest woman I’ve ever met.”

“What made you change your mind last night?”

“A few things. You sauntering around in barely anything yesterday made me want you more than ever. Then I had a talk with Brett that made me see the real picture. Most importantly, I don’t want to lose you, Taylor. I needed to get over my fear of your dad so we could be together the way I’ve wanted.

“Brett and I have butted heads the most over the years, but he’s went through this stuff with Hannah, so he’s been a big help, aside from the hard time he keeps giving me over you. He’s loving every minute of it, but I guess I deserve it. All the guys are enjoying it, but you’re so worth the harassment they give me. Do you want to get showers and eat breakfast?”

“OK, but then can we come back here? I hate thinking about it being our last full day.”

“You’re not gonna get a no from me,” he says.

A Labor of Love

Dylan

I’m in the great room when Taylor comes down the stairs.

“What did you eat?” she asks.

“Nothing yet, I wanted to wait for you.”

“That’s very thoughtful. I’m surprised we’re the first ones down here.”

I follow her to the kitchen and wrap my arms around her waist before we share a lingering kiss. “I guess we’re going to have to step up our game. Maybe we should skip breakfast.” My lips still hover right at hers.

“No, we need fuel if we’re staying in bed all day.”

“True. I plan on fittin’ in a lot of cardio, stretching and maybe some gymnastics.” I lick her ear and grab her ass.

“Dylan!”

“Oh, come on. You know you’re curious about my many talents.”

She giggles. “OK, a little bit. I may not be experienced, but I am very coordinated and limber.”

“Damn, now you got me curious and very hard.”

She pushes me away. “Come on, let’s eat, so we can get back upstairs.”

I sit across from her at the table, so I can look at her beautiful face. Our friends find their way to the kitchen one by one, but Taylor and I pay little attention. We’re in a bubble of love, and I like it. When we finish eating, I grab her hand to go back upstairs. I turn around to face everyone at the dining room table. “Sorry, but Taylor and I are gonna be antisocial today, so we’ll see you at supper.”

“Man, I’m sure you didn’t plan on needing condoms for this trip, but I’m sure we can round some up for ya,” Matt says.

All of our friends start snickering. My back’s to them as we start up the stairs. “Still douche bags, all of you,” I call out. We lie on the bed facing each other, talking and kissing for an hour. We find we have even more things in common besides guitar and music, even sharing odd little habits.

“I think we were made from the same mold,” she says.

“No way. You’re too gorgeous.”

“Dylan, I was attracted to you the second I saw you that day at the hospital. Your eyes, smile and body were impossible not to notice. Then I picked up on your charm, and it scared me. I knew I’d like you if I spent time with you, and that’s why I was a bitch. I was afraid of getting hurt.”

“It makes me happy to know you felt something then.”

“I’m surprised you still call me sunshine since it wasn’t intended to be nice when you started saying it.” She frowns at me.

“Do you remember at the hospital when I said you were a ray of sunshine?”

“Yes I remember, and that’s what I’m talking about.”

“At first I did mean it sarcastically because you didn’t act happy, but then you changed, and now you light up, and so do others when they’re around you.”

“Aww, there’s that irresistible charm I was talking about.” She takes off my ball cap and puts it on her head backward, smiling the way I love her to.

“Oh baby, you look so hot with that on. Shit, now I’m going to picture you with nothing on except for my hat.”

I reach my hand around her neck and pull her to me, kissing her passionately, sweeping all of her mouth with my greedy tongue. She twists my freed hair between her fingers as she shoves her body against me.

My breathing becomes ragged as I get more and more worked up, craving her presence. “I didn’t know I could feel this kind of want,” I say, barely pulling my lips away from her.

Taylor kisses my neck before she pushes me over onto my back and straddles me. Reaching down, she grabs hold of my shirt and pulls it up over my head. I stare up at her, contemplating her next move.

Never taking her eyes off of me, she sits my hat on the bed before she pulls off her top, leaving her in a black lace bra. Next she crawls off of me and slowly takes off her jeans, staring at me provocatively. “Shit, Taylor.” I watch her every move, trying not to erupt.

She straddles me and puts my hat on backward once again. Oh Fuck. I can’t help but let out a groan. “This is every man’s fantasy right here, right now, and I’m the one getting to experience it.”

She gives me an enticing yet amused look before she leans over and kisses my neck. She’s got me so damn turned on, so I grab her hips, digging my fingers into them. Scooting down my lap, she leans over and runs her tongue down my chest, giving me a clear view of her cleavage. With her every move, I feel that she’s pushing me closer to the edge of the cliff.

Where the hell is she going now? I don’t know how much of this I’ll be able to take. Taylor scoots farther down, circling her tongue along my stomach. When she steps to the floor, I try to sit up. I need her—now.

She waves her finger from side to side. “No, stay put,” she says before unbuttoning my jeans and pulling them along with my boxers to the end of the bed.

“Taylor, there’s a condom in my jeans.”

“We don’t need one for what I’m going to do.” She sounds dead serious, staring at me the whole damn time.

“Taylor, I don’t think I can make it that long.” I run a hand through my hair.

“You better,” she says as she straddles my legs and wraps her hand around my cock, stroking it slowly up and down. I close my eyes, and with harsh breaths I clench my fists. Seeing her in that black bra and panties with my hat on backward, stroking my cock while she straddles me, hell, that image alone is enough to get me off.

My eyes open in time to see my hat get tossed to the bed. She leans down, sealing her lips around my hard erection, sliding her mouth over it and pushing it toward the back of her throat. I look down at her in sweet agony as her hot mouth works me over.

She slowly sucks upward to the tip, twirling her tongue around it before she takes me all the way in again. Stroking with her mouth, harder and deeper, again and again has my body writhing from the mounting pleasure that’s so mind blowing it’s almost painful.

“Taylor, I’m going to come,” I say urgently.

One last time, she buries me to her throat before tightening her lips around me and pulling them slowly up my length, her tongue pressing the backside all the way, letting me know that she’s not going anywhere. I can’t hold out any longer and come in her mouth, seizing pleasure taking me hostage. Taylor holds me hostage in every possible way.

For several minutes, I can’t speak as I try to rise from the dead. I think she killed me. I know I blacked out for a few seconds. Encircling her in my arms, I kiss her temple.

“There are no words for how good that felt.”

She interweaves our legs. “I want to stay twisted up like a pretzel with you.”

“Damn. You’re just using me for my body today, and it’s early yet.”

“I’m not done, either.” I feel her smile against my skin before she yawns and closes her eyes.

This woman’s amazing.

I manage to slip out of Taylor’s hold without waking her. It’s after one o’clock, so I decide to get us some lunch. I hear laughter erupting as I walk down the stairs. All of our friends except for Austin and Chelsea are hanging out, watching something they find amusing on the television.

“I thought you weren’t showing your face for several more hours,” Matt says.

“I’m hungry.”

I see Cody jump up to follow me to the kitchen. I’m sure glad he has Jasmine to entertain him this week. The poor guy’s still like a lost puppy.

“So, buddy, is it safe to say that she broke you instead?”

“I think it was more than obvious I caved when I carried her ass upstairs last night, and it was the best decision I’ve made in my entire life.” I’m very serious as I pull different food items out of the refrigerator.

“That’s all you have to say?”

“What do you want me to say?”

“I don’t know. You usually have some kind of dirt you want to dish after you sleep with someone. You’ve been so damn different this week.”

I swear he and Jasmine are perfect for each other when it comes to enjoying gossip. It’s been a stressful week, so I haven’t been my usual fun self. I can’t dispute that, but Cody will have to accept that I’m not going to be the same person anymore, especially when it comes to women. Falling for Taylor has matured me in a way I didn’t think would ever happen.

“It’s the best sex I’ve ever had. I didn’t even know it could be this way, and you’d understand why I’m so screwed up this week if you were the one in love with her.”

“You love her?” Cody asks loudly.

“Why don’t you just shout it?” I glance to the great room and see that all eyes are on me. “That’s just great. Now everyone knows but her.”

“Sorry, bro, it’s just surprising news. I thought I’d have a clue it was getting that serious before you used the ‘L’ word.”

“I would’ve told you, but it happened fast. I know we’ve always joked about the women we fuck, but it’s not going to be the same with Taylor. I have too much respect for her to talk about her that way.”

Cody takes his ball cap off and scratches his head before he leaves the kitchen. I don’t know why he’s pissed. It’s not like he’s sharing much this week about his time in bed with Jasmine. I’ll have to deal with him later.

I throw some cut up vegetables and fruit on one plate and some crackers, dip, cheese and turkey on another before grabbing a couple of waters. I juggle everything to the stairway and look at my friends.

“Every one of you listen to me. I don’t know when I’ll get the nerve to tell her, but don’t any of you do it for me, or I’ll lose it,” I say aggressively before taking the stairs.

Hannah

Everyone probably thinks it’s too soon for Dylan to be in love, but I think he’s been falling in love with Taylor for months and didn’t know it.

“Dylan’s so high strung. I can’t believe we have to go through this again,” Matt says.

Morgan stands up and points at him. “We’ve been dating since summer. Brett, Austin, and now Dylan all fell fast and hard for my friends, yet you can’t even tell me you love me after all these months. Maybe we’re going nowhere after all.” She takes off toward the stairs.

“You guys are cock blocking me this week, and I’m sick of it.”

“Don’t blame this on us, bro. I know it says a lot that you don’t screw around on her, but she’s going to think that’s a given. If you want her to stick around, then you’re going to have to give her something more. I’ve been trying to tell you for months,” Brett says.

“It hasn’t been that long. Not all of us have to fall in love in five minutes and get engaged. I’m only twenty-two years old.”

He’s on my last nerve this week. I have to speak up.

“No one is saying you have to get engaged, but she said you haven’t even hinted that you love her. You don’t have to marry her, but as much time as you two spend together, if you don’t love her by now, then you need to end things, so she can find someone who wants to treat her as good as she treats them.”

“She’s not going to let you just keep her around for booty calls. Morgan’s gorgeous, funny, kind and smart, and if you don’t know if you love her after how good she is to you, then you don’t deserve her. I’m going to go talk to her,” Jasmine says, glaring at Matt as she gets up.

Matt stands and paces around with his hands behind his head. “Great, now all the girls are pissed at me.”

“You’ve never been in a relationship like this, so I know you love her. Why don’t you just tell her?” Brett asks.

“I don’t do ‘feelings’, Brett, and you know that.”

Brett shakes his head. “Well, like you said earlier, you’re young, so I guess you have a lot of years not to worry about it, but you won’t be spending those years with Morgan.”

Matt walks into the game room. I can’t believe he isn’t going to go talk to her. “I better go check on her, too,” I say.

When I open Morgan’s door, I see her tossing clothes into a suitcase. Jasmine’s sitting on the bed.

“Morgan, you can’t leave,” I say.

“I’m moving to my own room for the night. I don’t want to sleep next to him.” She wipes tears away between sniffles.

There’s a knock at the door. When I open it, Chelsea’s standing there. “What’s going on? I heard you all in here when I walked by the door.”

“You can’t say anything since Dylan hasn’t told her yet, but he said he loves Taylor, so Morgan’s reached her breaking point with Matt,” I reply.

“Dylan of all people falls in love in less than a week. I’ve been right by Matt’s side for over half a year. I do whatever the hell he wants and ask for nothing in return. If he doesn’t want to tell me he loves me by now, then he doesn’t feel it.

“I don’t think I’m asking for too much after this long. I don’t want to waste time with him if there’s someone else who would love me and show some real affection.” Morgan begins crying hard and falls onto the bed.

“You have every right to be upset. You’ve been really good to him and patient. It wouldn’t kill him to let you know if he cares that much for you,” Chelsea says.

“He thinks that since he doesn’t cheat, I should be content. I threw J.T. aside for him, but I’m thinking I might’ve made a mistake. J.T. is really attentive and still tells me how much he wants a shot with me.
