He stepped away and walked back to the bar. “Hey there, Destiny. You know that Crown Royal with 30291? It’s time for more if you wouldn’t mind.”

“Sure. And Coke?”

“No thanks.”

As the minutes turned into hours, Lavender danced a little bit and drank a whole hell of a lot. He didn’t see Ramada again. He sat at the bar and noticed the crowd begin to thin out. Just then, a tall, mixed-race woman approached and took the next seat. She wore bright orange.

She said with a smile, “You’ve got a lot of restraint.”

“Why?” he asked, studying her undeniable cleavage.

“You didn’t kick that man’s ass. We were ready for you.”

“Oh you saw that, huh?”

“I’m the owner of this sex in the city. I see everything.” She sat next to him.

“Oh really? How’s that?” Lavender asked, checking out every inch of her.

“One of my security people walked by and saw what was up.”

“I see.”

“That guy was probably more interested in a bro-mance than your woman.”

“I caught that vibe.”

“You’d better watch yourself.” She looked around and he continued looking at her. “So, what do you do?”

“Security.”

“Really. Where?”

“I head up security in Buckhead for the chain of XVIII Karats jewelry stores.”

She looked impressed. “I see. That’s where all the shot callers and big balers go. You wouldn’t happen to be in the market for a job, would you?”

“No, I’m afraid not.”

“Well, if you change your mind, let me know.”

The lady bartender wiped off the portion of the bar near him. He shifted his eyes to her chest and back to his conversation. “I don’t think so. I couldn’t be around all this full-time.”

“How do you know?’

Lavender raised his brows. “Oh, I know.”

“Once you’re around it long enough, you’d become immune to it, I promise you. Kinda like when people move to Vegas. After a while, you just stop gambling.” She asked, “You been in the life long? Swinging I mean?”

“It’s been a big part of my life for a long time.”

“I see. Mine, too.” Her two-way radio flashed and she pressed a button to clear it. “So, I hope the rest of your evening goes smoother. I’m Milan, by the way. It was nice meeting you.” She came to stance and offered her hand.

He held her hand and asked, “Where are you going?” Her chest was eye level.

“We’re about to close. It’s already four in the morning.”

“I see.” His two words dragged. He rubbed his throbbing forehead.

She noticed his bloodshot eyes and asked, “Are you okay?”

“I’m good. You think you could call a cab for a brotha? I think my ride left me. Actually, I’m sure of it,” he said slowly.

“I can do better than that. How about if I take you home?”

“You would do that?”

“I would do that.”

He nodded her way. “I’d appreciate it. I don’t normally drink this much.”

She smiled. “I’ll be right back.” She began to walk away.

“I’ll be right here. My name is . . .”

She replied while still walking, waving her hand over her head. “I know who you are. I’m from Miami. Give me thirty.”

He said too low for her to hear, “You’ve got it.” He turned to guzzle the last bit of his drink but the bartender had already taken it away. “Yep, I’ll be right here,” he said out loud as the room began to play funny little tricks on him.

This has to be the last straw for weird-ass Ramada. It just has to be.

Five weeks later, Lavender and Milan were in love and fucking like there was no tomorrow.

And they only fucked each other.

“Head”

H
ere you go, Mr. Lewis. Just initial by the X to accept the nightly rate and then sign at the bottom.”

“Sure.” Lavender took the pen in hand and read the fine print.

An older man appeared from behind the counter of the grand Marriott Bay Point Resort and Spa in Panama City Beach. The ambience of the beachfront hotel was charming and laid-back. The man picked up a file from a nearby desk and turned to exit, but stopped. He looked up at Lavender and Milan.

The man spoke loud. “You ever gonna box again there, boy? I remember you.”

Lavender nodded with certainty as he signed. “No, sir, I’m afraid not.”

“We were looking for big things from you a while back.”

“I’ll bet you were.” Lavender replaced the ink pen and handed the girl the sheet of paper. “So was I. One more fight after winning the belt and I would’ve gotten the big money.”

Milan looked at him like she couldn’t believe his honesty.

The man said to the girl behind the desk, “That was a bad boy there. That joker could fight.”

“Oh really?” asked the young girl.

“Yeah, I’m telling you for sure. He was smooth. Just like his daddy.”

“Thanks.”

“Lavender right? Lavender Lewis?”

“Yes, sir.” Lavender flashed a smile.

Milan’s smile was even bigger. She placed her hand on her man’s lower back.

“Well, you two kids enjoy yourselves.” The man headed toward the door shaking his head and grinning. “Yep. That’s a bad boy there.” He stopped and positioned his feet while jabbing his fists as though he was giving a one-two punch. He laughed out loud and headed out of sight.

The woman gave a chuckle and handed the lovebirds their key cards. “Your room is upstairs and to the right. The elevators are over there. It’s room 6004.”

Milan said, “Oh good. That’s our regular room. This is our favorite hideaway, you know?”

“Good. We’re glad to have you back.” Then she said, “Aren’t you Charlie Kennedy’s daughter?”

“Yes.”

“It’s nice to meet you. I saw you on a show they did on TV. One not long ago. I think it was about the history of jazz. I love jazz.”

Milan grinned. “Oh, okay. What’s your name?”

“I’m Sharita. You’re very beautiful.”

“Thanks, Sharita. It’s nice to meet you.”

“Sorry about your dad,” the girl said as they shook hands.

“Thanks.”

They headed up the elevator to the sixth floor and down the hall. Lavender slid the key card and held the door open as they stepped inside. It was a contemporary-looking one-bedroom suite. The hotel was fairly new and the room looked like it was designed for an

magazine photo shoot. The sage green and white colors in the living room were tropical, with tan and green sun-blocking drapes. The bedding was white with bright red throw pillows and a folded green spread at the foot of the bed. It had an office area and a full kitchen, and a large sliding glass door that led to a very private balcony.

Milan said as Lavender closed the door behind them, “Baby, someone left their flowers in the room.” She pointed toward a dark green vase that was filled with fresh, deep-red roses.

“Oh really?”

She placed her laptop case on the square coffee table and stepped up to the flowers, sniffing the tallest bud. “They’re beautiful.” She looked at Lavender’s expression.

“What?” He gave a clueless look.

She picked up the small note card that read, “Milan.” She asked, “I know the hotel didn’t have my name, did they?” Her face said she was adding things up. “Lavender. You didn’t.”

Lavender stood next to her emptying out his pockets and pulling off his blue cap.

She turned back toward the card and continued to read. “Here’s to a day away from it all. Happy Anniversary.”

He said, standing behind her, “I love you.”

“Oh, baby. That is so sweet. Thank you.” She turned to him.

“You’re welcome.”

She gazed up at him. “How’d you swing that?”

“I called the hotel and asked for the nearest florist. Made sure it was delivered to our regular room by noon.”

“That is the sweetest thing you’ve ever done. That means a whole lot.”

“You mean a whole lot.” His eyes told on his playful mind. “Do you think going out to eat can wait about an hour?”

“I do.” She unzipped and unbuckled his pants. He removed his kicks and stepped out of each pants leg. Milan knelt before him.

She liked to talk to his dick like they had a thing going on. She spoke low, directly at the split of his tip. “How’s my baby doing? You been okay? Let mama thank you.”

She pressed tiny kisses upon his dick skin. She wiped his tip all over her face, sometimes asking him to close his eyes to see if he could tell which part of her face he was at. He always got it right, from her eyes to her ears, to her chin to her nose. And especially her small, tight mouth. “Here. Let’s go lie down so you can really relax.”

Lavender helped her up and they entered the bedroom. He pulled back the sheet and lay upon his back, naked from the waist down.

Milan lay beside him and lifted his shirt. She sucked the tip of his dick like it was an all-day lollipop, back and forth, over and over, until she finally had it all in her mouth. She pulled it back out and pressed her lips together firmly, allowing him to find his way inside so that it was like his dick burst into her tightness. She did it repeatedly and he cooperated.

His dick slid in with exactitude.

His toes curled.

His pulse pounded.

Not even ten minutes later his dick lost control. She gulped his quickie nectar. Even the postcum.

“Thank you for the flowers,” she said, resting her face along his washboard belly.

He said, “The pleasure was all mine.”

“Do Me Baby”

Tuesday, April 1, 2008
11:22 p.m.

L
ater that night, after hitting their favorite seafood place along the nighttime shore for all-you-can-eat crab legs, they stopped at the local drive-through liquor store for a quart of Seagram’s Extra Dry Gin and grapefruit juice.

Milan giggled as they sat at the window waiting for their order. “This is the life. Some gin and juice and cups of ice like we’re ordering fast food.”

“Just pickin up a little drive-through liquid panty remover.”

“Oh, like you’re really gonna need that.”

They pulled off with their brown paper bag and two cups full of ice, holding hands and listening to Yung Joc’s “It’s Goin’ Down.”

As soon as they hit the hotel room door, Lavender stepped in behind Milan and began to pour them a double on the rocks. Milan headed to the side of the bed and disrobed. She grabbed a towel from the bathroom and went out to the balcony that overlooked the evening beach.

The sandy shore and dark waters of the Gulf of Mexico were illuminated only by the glow of the shimmering moonlight. It graced the darkness like sparkling diamonds. The illumination was breathtaking. And the stillness of the quiet view was peaceful, which was just what the doctor ordered for them both.

A few people stepped along the shore. One couple was sitting on the sand near the abandoned lifeguard station.

Milan placed the towel on the blue-and-white patio chair and sat back upon it, raising her feet along the banister. She looked through the spaces between the bars of the railing, down at the view below, taking in the welcomed coolness of the night air. “This is the life. Away from it all.”

“It is.” Lavender handed her a drink and closed the sliding door behind him. The only view he took in was between her wide opened legs. He swigged his drink and took a seat at the same time.

He took another sip and placed his hand along her thigh, moving it toward her middle. He ran his fingers along the shape of her vagina and slipped his middle finger toward her clit.

She downed a big swallow and said, “Watch it now, baby.”

“Hell, I know my way around there.”

She nodded in agreement.

“Actually, let me inspect it closer. It’s so dark out here, I might need a better view.” He placed his cup on the side table.

Lavender knelt down and adjusted himself so that he rested upon his hip and faced Milan’s pussy. She brought herself to the edge of the chair to assist him and stretched her legs out.

Milan took a minute to look down at the passersby again. She could see each silhouette clearly and wondered if they could possibly see her about to get her pussy eaten.

Lavender began kissing her opening and moved his mouth to kiss her inner thigh. His lips and his left-hand fingers teased her.

Her body buzzed with lust. She quivered, enjoying the thrill of the licking. She balanced the cup in her hand.

He used his fingers to spread apart her labia and pointed his tongue to her rams-head clit, licking the skin around it and flicking the tip back and forth. He used short, probing strokes and applied pressure with each lick. He inserted his stiff tongue in her vagina, giving her an oral fucking. The wetness could be heard. He played slip and slide with her opening.

“Damn, baby. Damn.”

She closed her eyes, though she kept thinking about the fact that they were outside, being watched by the ocean and the sky and the moon. Her eyes opened. She moaned deeply with a guttural sound.

He latched his mouth around her entire clitoris, flicking it in circles and giving it a butterfly whipping.

Milan’s hips shook while he made the sound of an airplane about to take off. The vibration of his lips was like a tiny, hot vibrator against her firm point.

He guided her hips forward a bit more with his hands and hungrily positioned his face deeper, taking ownership of her hard clitoris into his mouth. He sucked it using short, luscious motions. He increased the tempo as she began to thrust her split toward his mouth.

She snuck a peek down at him and cheered him on like the soldier he was. “Uh, suck that shit, baby. Ummh, that’s it.” She looked out at a man and woman who walked hand in hand along the sand. They were looking up at the view of the hotel, and it seemed as though they looked up at the balcony of room 6004, seeing Lavender’s back, and his head between her long, wide open legs. Milan’s breathing accelerated. She still grinded, generously fucking his face.

Lavender continued to suck her, moving his head up and down in a slight motion, using his tongue while sliding her between his lips. Her legs trembled. Her clit pulsated between his lips. She froze up.
