Canada really does have some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, and we were lucky enough to see more of it on our
way to the crevasse.

Lowering myself – voluntarily! – into the crevasse with my guide, Sian, watching from above. She made getting out again look
easy, but I doubted it would be so simple.

What goes up …

… must come down. On foot. After tumbling off my bike, we walked them over a particularly icy part of the route.

Hurtling down the mountain on a push-bike was exhilarating, but my first love will always be the motorbike.

Going underground. We’d been east, west, north and south, 3,000 metres up and now we were 70 metres below at the Horne Lake
Caves on Vancouver Island. We really had pushed every frontier Canada had to offer.
