“Did you enjoy it?” she asked.
Karl opened his eyes, unable to speak. He sat staring past Raven.
“What’s wrong, silly? Never had it that good, huh?” Raven spoke in her raspy voice.
Karl sat still without moving,
Raven turned to face the direction he was staring. Her world stopped as everything moved in slow motion. She stood to her feet, raising her hands in the direction of the door. There stood Bryce and Ms. Towson.
“Bryce, baby, please. I can explain.” Tears rolled down Raven’s face as a drop of cum from Karl’s release dripped from her chin, splashing onto her bare foot.
“Oh please, you don’t understand. I was doing this for Bryce and me.” Raven sobbed on the other end of the phone.
“Bryce!” Mrs. Towson shouted. “Just think—he was prepared to ask you to marry him that night.” Mrs. Towson smugness was felt through the phone line.
Raven sobbed loudly as the line went dead.
Ms. Towson placed the phone back on the receiver and lay back on her velour chaise, sipping her afternoon martini.
