Sabrina inhaled sharply, trying to summon the energy to deny his words. Languid heat seeped through her, making it hard to think.

"No," she said sluggishly, pressing her hand tightly against the wall to keep it from curling into the front of his shirt.

"Liar."

Bastard! He knew just where to touch to make her body hum with pleasure. Her breasts ached for his touch, nipples ruched into hard little nubs, pressing tightly against the fabric of her bra.

He seemed to know exactly what she wanted as his hand covered her breast, kneading the soft globe. Her eyes fluttered closed and she thought she might die of the ache building between her thighs. Clenching her legs tightly together, she bit back the moan that rose when his thumb traced the hard outline of her nipple.

"I can smell you, Sabrina," he whispered into the soft curve beneath her ear, breath fanning across where her neck met her shoulder. "I want to taste you," he continued, his big hand sliding down her side, bunching up her skirt.

His hand slid along her bare thigh and she couldn't breathe and need coiled so tightly within her she felt like she might explode.

One finger slid along the damp satin of her knickers, teasing the tender skin beneath. Ecstasy rippled through her when he stroked lightly, wave after wave of intense pleasure screaming through her body, leaving her gasping and breathless, hanging onto him for dear life.

"You love the feel of my hands on you, don't you Brina?" He kissed his way down her neck, dropping to his knees before her. Pushing up her skirt, he pressed his lips to one bare, quivering thigh. "You like me to kiss you, to run my tongue along your skin."

Picking up her leg, he pressed a soft, open mouthed kiss to the back of her knee. Sabrina moaned, wanting to fight against the sultry, seductive heat spinning through her at his words, but unable to summon the willpower to do so.

His mouth moved closer to the apex of her thighs and she inhaled sharply, her fingers digging into the unyielding stones, the pain grounding her somewhat when he licked the band of elastic that ran around her hip. "You want to feel my mouth down here, sucking on your pussy, making you come."

The crude words shocked her, bringing reality creeping back in just the barest bit. She had to stop this… stop him.

"No," she whispered, her head falling back when his finger smoothed over the sodden material between her legs.

People didn't do that sort of thing, did they? Not like she'd have known if they did or not, with the amount of experience she had. Two fumbling teenagers and four minutes of painful sex did not make an expert; for certain. Goddess, she found it too hard to think, pleasure overriding nearly everything.

"Yes," he said, rising slowly, letting her feel every inch of his hard body pressing against her.

Her eyes opened, and she stared at him, stunned. Reaching out, he straightened her clothing, smoothing down her skirt and refastening her shirt.

He smirked. "I want you to think about me, Brina, I want you to think about me touching your body and making you come." He bent forward, kissing her fiercely, his tongue darting into her mouth, taking possession.

Breaking away, he straightened his clothes and winked before stepping back.

Goddess, how the hell was she supposed to resist this? "You told me… you pushed me away and now, now you're trying to seduce me in the hallways? I can't… what the hell is going on Patrick? Is this some sort of sick game?"

Patrick snorted. "No," he said succinctly, hand rising to brush loosely through her hair. "I've tried to stay away from you. The more I do, the more I think about you. I can't do it anymore, Brina."

She gaped at him, heart lodging firmly in her throat. "I don't…"

He grinned, lips curving wickedly. "You and I belong together, sweets. You can't tell me you don't want me," he said softly, his gaze raking over her, "because your body is saying yes."

Sabrina inhaled sharply. "That's beside the point," she said quickly, tamping down on the tight ball of need that had risen at his words.

"It's the only point, Princess," he said, leaning over her, bracing his hands on the stone wall behind her.

Sabrina shook her head. "Weren't you the one that said we shouldn't be doing this?" she asked in exasperation, struggling to fight against the almost paralyzing rush of pleasure that seared through her with his nearness.

That possessive feeling that had overtaken her on the practice field was back, stronger than ever before.
Mine. Wholly and utterly mine.
Her hands rose instinctively, curling into his shirt.

"I'm done being your coach, as of today. I just got called back to the city. I'm leaving this weekend, after the game," he said in a low voice, staring at her mouth. "Did you hear me?"

"Yes," she said softly, mesmerized by the play of emotions in his gaze.

She'd never seen eyes look so green… so hungry.

"Good," he said thickly, pressing against her slowly, his head dropping so their lips were a mere hairsbreadth apart. He stared into her eyes and she couldn't seem to find enough air to breathe, her entire world narrowing to the feel of his body against hers, the scent of him surrounding her. The tingly ache grew between her thighs, a rush of liquid heat spearing through her. He kissed her, his mouth slanting over hers possessively, hungrily. Her head tipped back and he growled low in his throat and his hand found her breast, kneading lightly.

She couldn't think, couldn't do anything but ride the wave of heat that threatened to drag her under, the sultry, seductive movements of his mouth against hers, the lazy way he touched her, need arcing through her like a hot knife through butter.

He released her reluctantly, stepping back, gaze lingering on her face.

She must look a mess, lips swollen from his kisses, eyes glazed from all the emotion swimming inside of her body. "So, what does that mean"—her tongue darted out to moisten her dry lips—"for us?"

A slow, wicked grin danced on his lips. "That depends on you, Princess."

She inhaled sharply at the promise in his tone.

Her body quivered with need, damp heat spearing between her thighs. "How?"

He closed the distance between them. "You know what I want," he said softly, steel laced with intent.

His hips pinned her back against the stone, and she could feel every hard inch of him against her body.

Her nipples tingled and the secret spot between her thighs throbbed with want. "And I'm pretty sure you want it to."

Fighting against the dizzying miasma of lust, she shook her head. "I won't be a notch on your belt, Patrick."

He laughed darkly. "Is that how I seem to you, pulling birds to up some tally?"

"I don't know!" she cried softly. "You've been playing this push and pull game with me for the last six weeks and I have no idea if you really want me or you just want in my knickers."

Patrick rolled his hips against hers and her breath hitched. "Sweets, if I'd only have wanted in your knickers, I would've fucked you the first night I was here."

She shoved hard on his chest. "Sometimes I wish I could hate you, when you say awful things like that!"

His expression gentled and he bent his head, nuzzling against her ear with his lips. "You make me crazy, Sabrina Grady. I can't get you out of my head. You make me laugh in one moment and then the next you frustrate me so much, I want to turn you over my knee and spank you until you're writhing against me."

Her fingers wove through his hair, turning his head so she could stare into his eyes. "You scare me, Patrick."

He frowned, cupping her chin to keep her eyes on his. "Why?"

She inhaled deeply. "Because you could break me."

His thumb stroked over her lips and he bent his head, lips brushing gently across hers. "You'll just have to take it on faith that I won't."

She woke up when the plane rocked gently, blinking as she tried to remember where she was. Her cheeks felt wet and she lifted her hand, wiping away the tears that had seeped out while she slept.

"But you did," she whispered softly. The cabin was still dark and she rolled over a bit, hunching her shoulder and let the dreams pull her back down…

Halloween, Samhain, by whatever name people called it, had always been one of her favorite nights. The gibbous moon hung low in the sky, tinged with a hint of orange from the flames dancing in the cool, October air. Patrick had been gone for two weeks and she missed him more than she thought possible. Ronnie had cajoled and pleaded until Sabrina finally agreed to go to a party instead of staying in and moping.

"Ronnie, are you certain about this?"

Ronnie looked over and nodded. "I am. We're going to the caves tonight."

"But"—Sabrina chewed her lip—"what about curfew? Coach will kill me if I get suspended; we're nearly at the end of the season!"

Ronnie sighed. "It's tradition, Sabrina. Trust me, we'll be fine!"

Famous last words
, Sabrina thought.

"So, are you ready?"

Sabrina stared at her reflection in the mirror. "Yes, I'm ready," she said.

She wore a dark green, impeccably tailored, and most importantly, warm sweater especially when paired with a black corduroy skirt and knee high boots. Ronnie had tried to talk her into a skimpy top that she'd picked out, tighter fitting and a deep plum color, but Sabrina shook her head, reaching for the more sedate sweater. If she had to be outside, in the caves at a party, she would be warm and comfortable.

Ronnie grinned. "This is going to be so great! No teachers, no annoying boyfriends…"

"No, just bunches of horny boys," Sabrina said, interrupting her.

"You say that like it's a bad thing," Ronnie said, winking.

Sabrina burst out laughing as they walked into the common room of their dorm and out towards the hallway. Tucking her arm through Sabrina's, Ronnie led the way down the corridor towards the portrait of Llewellyn's founder, a crusty old farmer, surrounded by grazing sheep, and out the door to the path behind the sports fields.

Tiny candles barely illuminated the rock strewn walkway. Sabrina stumbled more than once, cursing lightly under her breath when Ronnie relentlessly tugged her forward.

"Come on, we're almost there," Ronnie whispered as they came up to a dark slash in the rock face.

Sabrina loved the caves; she'd been drawn to them from the second she'd stepped onto the campus. It'd been one of the reasons she'd chosen to attend Llewellyn, despite its size and location. Something about the history buried deep within the limestone compelled and fascinated her. So much so, she found herself out here when the pressures of everything got to be too much. It calmed her like nothing else.

Sabrina gripped her flashlight tightly when a hooded figure stepped out of the murky darkness and blocked their path. "Who goes there?"

Ronnie stopped and giggled. "The heirs of Cernunnos," she said in a somber voice.

Pale hands reached up, drawing the hood back to reveal a smirking boy holding up a flashlight. "Welcome ladies, to the Den of Inequity. Play tonight, for tomorrow you shall have to pay the penance for a life of debauchery."

Ronnie sniggered quietly and Sabrina rolled her eyes. They walked past him into the cool darkness, their eyes slowly adjusting to the dim, flickering light of the hundreds of small candles. A slow, heavy thumping came from deeper in the caves and Ronnie grabbed Sabrina's hand, dragging her down the pathway.

Someone shoved glasses of a green, smoking drink in their hands as they moved closer to the writhing and gyrating bodies deep in the center of the cave. The beat of the music pulsed, throbbing just beneath their skin. Sabrina felt free for the first time in what seemed like forever. She took a deep drink from her cup and lost herself in the rhythm.

Her cup never seemed empty, the thick green liquid tasting like one of those all day suckers she'd had as a kid. The music thrummed, bodies pressed tightly against one another. She didn't pay much attention when a body moved against her from behind; the room had become so crowded, she found it impossible not to touch someone. Heavy hands closed around her hips, drawing her back against a warm, solid chest. She leaned back against them and tipped her head back, resting it against their shoulder. Heat seeped through her body when whoever held her began to guide her hips in a rhythm, her ass brushing against a growing bulge. Sabrina sighed softly and ground back against her partner, her hand sliding along the thick, heavy thigh that framed hers.

She felt weightless, the music pounding like a heartbeat in the warm, heavy air of the cave. Her heart thumped, the blood racing along her veins as her partner slid his hand up her side, brushing against her breast. It felt good, so, so good. Lifting her hand, she went to take another drink from her cup, pouting when it got lifted from her hand and set aside. She tried to turn around, but the hand on her hip wouldn't let her.

She turned her head, nuzzling against a thick neck. "Hey, that was mine."

"You've had enough." His chest rumbled beneath her back when he spoke, making her giggle.

She sighed when his hands tightened on her hips once more, turning her. Her feet left the floor and she nearly screamed, her head spinning from the drink.
