Still kissing Jay with deep, gentle strokes of his tongue, Bodie peeled Jay’s shirt up, breaking the kiss as he slid it over his head. “I think I better search you more thoroughly this time,” he said. His voice was breathy, and as their eyes locked, a thrill shot through Jay. Bodie had a flush to his cheeks, lids heavy. He looked turned on as hell, and that sent Jay through the roof even more.

“I think you better,” Jay said. “Search the fuck out of me.”

Bodie dropped to his knees, immediately tangling with Jay’s zipper. “My pleasure,” he said, and slid Jay’s shorts down over his underpants. “White,” he said, trailing his fingers along the elastic band of Jay’s briefs. His eyes turned up and he grinned. “I think I liked the blue ones you had on earlier much better.”

Jay’s stomach trembled as Bodie continued to finger his skin beneath the elastic band. “Sorry,” Jay said. “I do tend to change my underwear when I shower.”

Bodie snickered, his hands drifting behind and palming the globes of Jay’s ass. “Either way, I need to see what you’re hiding in here.”

With a quick jerk, Bodie tugged Jay’s underpants down.

“Holy shit,” Jay said softly, his erection bouncing upward on full display.

“So that’s what you’ve been hiding from me,” Bodie said, trailing his fingers up the shaft of Jay’s cock. Jay hissed as Bodie’s palm slid over his dome, then made its way slowly back down to the base. “I can see why you wouldn’t want to give this up; it’s priceless.”

Jay was both enjoying the game and losing patience with it as a rush of feeling blew through him. He wanted to get Bodie naked too. He wanted to get to the good part: the two of them rolling around in bed, bare and sweaty. That gorgeous fucking crazy hot body Bodie had under his tee shirt and jeans had been taunting Jay for days, and he wanted at it.

His thoughts shattered into fragments as Bodie’s hot, wet mouth suddenly engulfed his cock. “Oh, fuck!” Gripping handfuls of Bodie’s hair, he teetered there, afraid he’d fall over. Bodie drew him out again with a slow suction, tongue gliding along the underside of his shaft. Jay’s stomach trembled; he was already too close. His cock hadn’t forgotten all the foreplay out on the porch, and was begging for release, the pleasure of Bodie’s mouth too sharp already. “Bodie, stop,” Jay said, though his body had other ideas. His hands still gripped the other man’s hair, hips moving of their own accord as he tried to get deeper. “Stop, I want to take you to bed.”

Bodie’s tongue made one last lick around his dome as he popped Jay’s cock out of his mouth, then he rose up. “Tell me you have condoms,” Bodie said, grasping Jay’s head, fingers threading through his hair.

“Shit,” Jay said. “I don’t. I didn’t think—”

“You’d need them,” Bodie interrupted. “Neither did I.”

“I don’t care,” Jay said, tugging at Bodie’s tee shirt. “Doesn’t matter.”

Bodie helped Jay, tearing his own shirt off, tossing it aside. Holy shit, his body was even better than Jay imagined, muscular pecs and bulging lats, a trail of pale brown hair bisecting a rippled stomach. “It matters if you want me to fuck you,” Bodie said. “And I know you want me to fuck you.”

Jay inhaled sharply at the words. “No fair, you tease.”

“Just speaking the truth.”

Jay’s eyes trailed over Bodie, and he let out a whistle of breath. “I want to taste you everywhere. I’ll probably come as soon as I get your cock in my mouth.”

“Shit, you win,” Bodie said and dragged Jay toward the bed, throwing him down on the mattress. “Two sentences and you’ve taken all my control away,” he said, diving on top of Jay.

At the press of Bodie’s bare chest against his, Jay groaned, then snickered. “My shoes are still on.”

“Fuck your shoes,” Bodie said, nibbling Jay’s earlobe.

“I don’t want to fuck my shoes,” Jay whispered. “That would be gross.”

Bodie’s full weight collapsed on top of Jay, his body jerking with laughter.

Jay laughed with him, wincing. “You’re heavy,” he said, “and your jeans are chafing my cock. Get up and strip.”

Bodie pushed himself up on his arms, hair falling forward as he grinned down at Jay. “I’m definitely starting to like you,” he said, then slid over and climbed off the bed, unbuttoning his jeans.

“Just starting?” Jay said as he sat up and kicked off his shoes, and the shorts and briefs still tangled around his ankles. He watched, mesmerized as Bodie kicked off his own shoes and slid his jeans and underwear off, stepping out of them.

He’d only begun to drink in the sight of Bodie naked, the curve of his hips, gorgeous strong legs and long, thick cock. Then Bodie dove back onto the bed, lowering himself down on Jay again. “Just starting to like you,” he said. “But I’ll let you know when I’m finished.”

“I hope you’re never finished,” Jay said, pulling Bodie down for a kiss.

Bodie moaned into Jay’s mouth, then he did that thing he’d done on the porch, grabbing the back of Jay’s leg and hiking it up to his hip. It had been exciting enough when they were fully clothed, but bare flesh took it to a new level, and Jay made a mewling sound when their cocks slid together.

“You like that?” Bodie whispered into Jay’s mouth, moving against him.

Jay’s breathing was hard and heavy. He tried to move his hips but Bodie had him pinned, fingers digging into the back of his thigh as he held him in place. He could only lie there and accept the pleasure as Bodie thrust his cock against Jay’s. Pre-cum slickened the friction, either from Jay or both of them, he couldn’t tell.

“Shit,” Jay huffed. “I was planning to...” His eyes closed and he moaned as Bodie shifted a little, lining their cocks up more directly, then pressing down on him again.

“You were planning to what?” Bodie asked, his face aglow with sweat.

Jay laughed, but it turned into a groan. “I was planning to flip you over and explore you from head to toe, but Jesus Christ, Bodie, don’t stop what you’re doing.”

“Next time,” Bodie said, undulating against him. “You can go exploring next time.” His tongue trailed a line across Jay’s lips. The hand on Jay’s thigh glided up and under his ass, then over to his hole, fingering it.

Jay sucked a breath in, his orgasm pounding at the door. “Oh, shit.”

“And next time,” Bodie breathed against his lips. “We make sure we have condoms,” he said, then penetrated Jay with his finger.

Jay’s balls tightened. When Bodie’s finger pressed harder inside him, Jay’s cock decided enough was enough, and he came in wave after wave of shattering bliss. Bodie inhaled twice.

“Oh fuck, that’s good,” he said, pumping against Jay’s cock, now slippery with fluids. “Jay...fuck.” Gripping Jay behind the knees, Bodie spread his legs, then pressed down on him again, rutting against his slick cock. His breath huffed out in hard pants, then a deep moan left him as he came in a final thrust, saturating them both.

Bodie made a quick, high-pitched squeak, fingers digging into Jay’s legs as he rode the last of the orgasm. “Oh my God,” he said, collapsing on Jay. “God,” he said more softly.

Jay stroked Bodie’s sweaty back as they both caught their breath, his fingers gliding over those slick muscles. He let his hands drift lower, then cupped Bodie’s firm ass. “I haven’t even
seen
this yet,” Jay said, his voice drowsy.

Bodie laughed and lifted himself up. “You can check it out all you want while I walk to the bathroom.”

Bodie hopped off the bed.

After a day of early morning tennis, then an afternoon of volleyball in the hot sun, exhaustion had turned Jay’s body into a wet noodle, but he still propped up on his elbows to gaze at Bodie, fully nude and gleaming with sweat.

“Where
is
the bathroom?” Bodie asked. “I’ve never been in this guest house before.”

“Down the hall on the right,” Jay said. “The room with the toilet and the ugly green tile, can’t miss it.”

Bodie left the bedroom, and Jay did watch his ass as he went, and it was a fine sight. He fell back into the pillows, sighing. When the stickiness at his crotch became uncomfortable, he climbed wearily out of bed and cleaned himself up with a towel, then flopped back down on the mattress like dead weight. As the sweat cooled on his body, he shuffled the sheet and blanket out from under him, climbing beneath. He needed a shower badly, but it would have to wait until morning, because his limbs had given up moving for the remainder of the night.

When Bodie returned, he had a small hand towel. “Look at Jay Capello, all cozy in his floral quilt,” he said.

Jay laughed. “You can’t have a cottage without ugly floral bedding, can you? What’s your last name, by the way?”

“Vick.”

“Bodie Vick. Huh. Is ‘Wright’ Eben’s real last name?”

“Yeah, it is,” Bodie said. “It’s his father’s name. Our mothers are sisters. Did you clean yourself up already?” he asked, approaching the bed with the towel.

“More or less,” Jay mumbled, smiling as Bodie lifted the covers and slid in beside him.

“Let me help,” he said, and smoothed the warm, wet towel down Jay’s chest and stomach.

Jay sighed. “That feels so good.”

Bodie dragged the towel over Jay’s crotch, then up between his ass cheeks. “How’s that?” he whispered.

“Good,” Jay said. “Too good, you’re gonna get me hard again,” he said, though he knew his body was cooked for the night.

Bodie laughed and tossed the towel aside, then snuggled into Jay’s side, wrapping one strong arm around his waist. “I have to get up at the crack of dawn for Sassy duty,” he said.

Jay frowned, closing his eyes. “You have to go?” He didn’t want Bodie to leave, wanted to spend the night wrapped in his warm body. But he’d been on the other side of needy before, and there was no way he was doing that to someone else, so he kept his tone neutral. “It’s cool if you have to go.”

Bodie shifted on the bed, and Jay thought he was getting up, but he flicked off the bedside lamp, leaving them in darkness. He snuggled into Jay again, hooking an arm around him and tugging him close. “I don’t have to go. Just have to get up early. But I’m used to it.”

“You need to set an alarm or something?”

“Already done,” Bodie said, stroking the side of Jay’s face. “Cell phone.”

Jay nodded in the darkness, his hand drifting up to Bodie’s where it rested on his face. Bodie’s fingers laced with his, then set their clasped hands on Jay’s chest.

“Goodnight,” Bodie said.

“Sure as fuck was,” Jay mumbled.

Bodie’s arm tightened around him, and for a moment he squeezed Jay so hard it was almost painful. Then Bodie loosened his grip and rolled over onto his back. “Sure as fuck was,” he said, repeating Jay’s words.

Jay smiled in the darkness, until sleep took him down.

Chapter Seven

“Jay.”

Jay blinked, opening his eyes. Bodie sat beside him on the bed, fully clothed. The blue light of dawn brightened the windows. “Hey,” Jay said, rubbing his eyes. “Crack of dawn. You weren’t kidding.”

Bodie smiled. “I gotta scoot back and take a shower before my shift.” He trailed a finger over Jay’s chest. “Wish I didn’t have to. You look cute as hell all sleepy.”

Jay chuckled, warmed by the words. And the way Bodie was smiling at him. Bodie looked happy, content, and cute as hell himself with that mop of hair all mussed and crazy. Jay had half expected him to leave without saying goodbye. This warm wakeup call was a pleasant surprise, and he cursed internally at himself because he knew in that moment that his heart was already involved. Waking up to that smile was something he could definitely get used to.

“With Ingrid here for the weekend, I’m not sure you’ll have anything to do,” Bodie said. “You might have the weekend to yourself. But I’ll let you know later when I know more.”

Jay nodded. “Okay, cool.”

“Unless you’re still planning on quitting,” Bodie said with a chuckle, but his eyes were expectant, serious.

Jay grinned and sat up, scratching the back of his head. “I think you may have talked me out of it last night.”

Bodie placed a hand on Jay’s thigh over the blanket. “I must be quite the diplomat. You have fun last night?”

Jay smiled. “Yeah.”

“Me, too. I gotta go. I’ll talk to you later.” He leaned in and gave Jay a quick kiss, then got up and left the bedroom.

Jay gave his head a quick shake. “Wow.” He grinned and eased back into the mattress. “Fucking wow.”

Jay drifted back to sleep. When he woke up again it was eight o’clock, the sun higher and streaming through the bedroom windows. He got out of bed and stumbled to the shower. After dressing, he padded into the small kitchen and opened the fridge. He was craving a fruit smoothie, but felt too lazy to make one himself. It was a beautiful day, so he opted to take a walk up to the boulevard and get a smoothie from Three Sisters.

He felt refreshed, his mood light as he crossed the path on the boulevard, already crowded with morning joggers. By the time he walked through the park and crossed the road to Three Sisters, he was humming and whistling.

Settle down there, Pollyanna
. Last night had been amazing, and his heart was full. But Bodie worked for Eben, and Eben was from California. He could allow himself to be happy, but not singing show tunes, clicking his heels happy. Bodie was temporary, and Jay knew he’d do well to remember that.

Next time
. Bodie had used those words last night, so Jay at least felt confident there would be a repeat performance. And even though he knew it was probably a bad idea to get further involved, he was damn well looking forward to it.

When he returned to the gate of the property with his smoothie, he spotted a junkie old rusted Subaru parked on the side of the street. He glanced inside it as he passed. A chunky, dark haired man in his forties looked up from a cell phone. Spotting Jay, he gave him a wave.

Jay waved back, wondering who the hell he was. He’d have thought the man was one of Eben’s minions, but the car had a Rhode Island license plate. He’d have to ask Bodie about it later. The car was parked right at the edge of the property, and the property was set back away from the other houses on the street. Whoever he was, he was there for a reason.
