Now, tell me about you. You share equal billing with
me, but I've never heard of you.

PAULO

Alright, Kelli, I'll tell you.

[Very dramatically.]

I keeled a man.

KELLI

Keeling? Is that some sort of Polynesian sport with
coconuts and balls?

PAULO

No, I keeled a man. Don't you understand-a me?

KELLI

That's a very poor French accent.

PAULO

I use the same one for Spanish and Italian. Do you
approve?

KELLI

You've just told me you use one all-purpose accent, and
yet I know it's all right. You even keeled a man and I
could care even less.

[They laugh.]

PAULO

Kelli, one waits so long for a good revival of classic
musical, and when at last it comes, one cannot risk
losing the Tony.

KELLI

Yes.

PAULO

Work comes for people likes us only once every sixty
years. You might say we are raiders of the lost art.
