You shouldn’t be…” Armin said.

“
But what about your music, and my career…?” she asked.

Tanner replied, “
We’ve got
millions
as it is Anabelle – more than enough to last. We’re giving it all up to live our life here, with our kin, where we belong. We grew up simply and don’t care for much in the material world. All that matters to us is family. As for you, well, we wouldn’t stop you from pursuing your dreams. But we’d like to think that you’d find your life as the mother of our children to be filled with all the meaning you could ever hope to have.”

An
abelle was speechless.

Armin smiled and said, “
Anabelle, don’t be concerned about all of that right now. What’s important is that we are all together. We’ve got nothing but time… There’s no rush and no reason to worry.”

“
I know, you’re right but…” She said quietly.

“
Bu what

“
We’re supposed to leave here in about an hour. We would love for you to come but, again, only if you really want to go.” Armin said.

She could see the sincerity in his eyes and feel it in Tanner
’s embrace.

“
Of course, I’ll go. I wouldn’t miss it for anything…” she said.

In that moment, she resolved to trust herself, love herself and love them, with all of her heart
–
no matter what
. She’d learned more about what it meant to be truly alive by being with them than she could have ever dreamed.

Now that she was living that fantasy for real, she had no intention of giving it up
– not now, not ever.
