Leafy greens for their chlorophyll content.

Include more seaweed in your diet.

Parsley is packed with nutrients, so include it in your cooking, not just as a garnish.

Place 1 tablespoon of flax seeds in a mug of warm water overnight and drink the broth in the morning.

Drink grapefruit juice to help keep you regular.

Include onions, garlic, and shallots in your cooking.

AVOID

Processed foods.

Foods that have an expansive or tiring effect on the cells, such as dairy products, sugar, alcohol, conventional tea, and coffee.

HERBS AND SUPPLEMENTS

Bilberry herb is the best herb to help varicose veins, as it strengthens vein walls and capillaries.

Nettle tea promotes venous elasticity. Alternate with dandelion tea for a change. Also try ginkgo biloba tea.

Use tinctures of horsetail, which is a rich source of bioflavanoids.

Pine bark extract or grape seed extract is thought to help.

If your bowels are not moving try the Ayurvedic fruit powder triphala for a few months. Milk thistle tincture can also help with constipation.
