he light wind
off the water ruffled her bangs. She moaned as wide, perfect hands kneaded into her shoulders and down her naked back.
“How is that?”
“Blissful.” Hollie moaned again as she peeked out from her stacked arms. The endless stretch of shimmering turquoise water and pale blue sky was her only view. And Rafe Martinez was playing her cabana boy.
And he magic hands.
She returned her head to its buried status as Rafe’s massage went from deep tissue to a slower caress. “Mmm. You’re hired forever.”
“Handy, since you already promised me forever Mrs. Martinez.”
“I did, didn’t I?” She wiggled her fingers on her left hand. It still felt a little weird to have a band with the engagement ring. Then again that engagement ring hadn’t been there long either. Once they’d decided to do the marriage deal it seemed silly to waste any more time.
They’d wasted so much already.
“I even got this rather spectacular rock to prove it.”
“You women just love your sparkles.”
She rolled onto her back and Rafe’s coconut scented fingers slid under her arm to her naked breast. She sighed happily as he cupped her with the firm touch she loved.
She covered his hand on her skin, until their rings lined up. “As long as you’re wearing a similar bit of bling, then I’m happy.”
“Is that so?”
“Definitely so.” She sat up to brush her lips along his. Lips that smiled so much easier these days. In fact, he was usually smirking at her or laughing at her depending on the hour of the day. Just how she liked him.
Cabo San Lucas was the second stamp on her passport. She’d managed to get him across the border into Mexico for a weekend right after they’d gotten engaged. They’d loved it so much they decided to upgrade to Cabo and a self-contained resort with all the amenities.
It was a gross use of money and both of them were normally misers, but it was so worth it. Getting Rafe to agree to taking two weeks off was one thing. She’d been nearly as shocked with that offer as the proposal that had come a few months later. She was going to make sure it was the best two weeks they could ever have.
It was day six on their honeymoon and it had been nothing but sandy beaches, day trips all over the area, and long nights of making love.
She didn’t ever want to go home.
Today, they’d decided on pure decadence. Room service and their private patio with the hot tub was all they needed. Hedonism to the ultimate level.
“Why do you get to wear clothes and I don’t?” In fact, he’d hidden her damn clothes save for a teeny-tiny gold string bikini bottom.
Rafe pulled her up to straddle his thighs. “Because there’s no way I’m wearing a speedo or a thong.”
“Aww, come on. We haven’t done the casting couch role play yet. I bet you’d look amazing in rip away pants and a g-string.” She waggled her brows.
“Definitely not.”
She trailed her finger down the middle of his tanned chest to the drawstring of his board shorts. “Well, how about the one where I have to take your measurements for a certain movie?”
“And what kind of movie would that be?”
She reached into his bathing suit. “Rafe Does Hollie.”
He barked out a laugh. “Rafe loves to do Hollie.”
She circled the base of his very impressive piece of marketing. “I knew you’d be perfect for the role.” It had only taken her until the second audition to figure it out.
