“I’ve
think I have always loved you,” she admitted huskily, and kissed him.

Nick
hugged her convulsively, feeling as if he had pulled from the brink of an
abyss. He held her close as he buried his face in her neck, his tears now
flowing freely as he broke down from the stress.

“Don’t
ever leave me again,” he muttered thickly over and over again. Christine
stroked his hair soothingly, crooning to him, waiting for the storm to pass.

Chapter Ten

They
sat on the couch, her head on his shoulder and her feet curled under her, content
to just relax after such an emotional rollercoaster of a day.

“Why
did you really come back?” he asked after a while, stroking her hair.

Christine
smiled, once again secure in his love. “To tell you I changed my mind. Isn’t it
obvious?”

Nick
grimaced. “I thought you were going to try to make
me
change my mind.”

She
raised her head, looking at him searchingly. “
Could
I have done that?”

Nick
shook his head. “No, but I didn’t dare hope
you
had. I thought you only
wanted me for my body.”

Christine
giggled. “I can’t believe you actually said that!”

Nick
grinned, tapping her nose. “Well, you are one very horny lady, you know that?”

“Oh,
yeah?” she asked, sincerely surprised, and gasped as his hand rode up her
skirt. Her thighs parted automatically to give him access to the most secret
part of her body, and he grinned wickedly.

“Oh,
yes, you are. I was wondering if you were a man in a past life,” he teased, his
hand doing things to her that was making it hard to concentrate.

“Well,
I’m not a man now,” she said, her breath coming more quickly as he pushed the
fabric covering her pussy away.

“Definitely,”
he whispered, rubbing her with one finger, spreading the wetness. She mewled
with pleasure, and her eye fell on his crotch. She bent down and started to
unbutton his pants, using her teeth to ease them slowly out of their holes. As
she progressed down, the bulge grew appreciably bigger, and by the time she
exposed his briefs, you could trace the contours of his shaft through the
fabric. Which she did, with her tongue.

Nick
lifted his hips so he could shed his pants, which pooled around his feet.
Christine continued to tease him through his briefs, and he retaliated by ripping
her blouse open and grabbing her breast, kneading the flesh through her bra.

Christine
laughed breathlessly, and pulled down the fabric from his dick, which sprang up
to attention. She cooed over it, running loving fingers up and down its length,
making him pant. She relented and shifted to a kneeling position so she could
take him in her mouth. Her tongue flicked at his tip before she engulfed as
much of him as she could, sucking deliciously as she bobbed her head steadily
up and down.

“Suck
me, baby,” he whispered, throwing his head back, his mouth open, breathing
rapidly as waves of pleasure radiated from his dick because of her wet, sucking
mouth.

Nick
pulled down her panties and gave her a smack on her ass, leaving a red mark on
one cheek. The pain made Christine moan with pleasure in her throat as she
grabbed his dick to squeeze as she sucked, and the shaft throbbed in response,
thrilling her.

“Bad
girl,” he panted, giving her another spank, causing her to squeeze harder with
one hand, while her other hand cupped his balls, tugging gently. She stopped
and looked at him, her hand pumping wet shaft twice before letting go.

“Oh,
yes, I’m your bad girl,” she whispered, pushing off her panties completely
before straddling him, his dick at perfect attention. She lowered herself
slowly, pausing as the tip slipped inside her pussy, holding her position. Nick
groaned but made no attempt to push her down, savoring the exquisite feel of the
most sensitive part of his dick being squeezed by her wet sex. The blood was
pounding in his ears, and when he thought he couldn’t stand it anymore, she
lowered herself completely. “I’m the bad girl who’s gonna make you come.”

“Oh,
yes!” he cried, grabbing her waist as she rode him, her bra-clad breasts in his
face. He pulled the cups down roughly with his teeth and buried his hot face
between them, sucking and licking the valley, brushing his lips against her
sensitive nipples, making her go faster and utter short cries of pleasure. He
made her stop when he felt his climax building to the point of no return, holding
her fast with his dick buried deep in her, throbbing achingly. He pleasured her
with his mouth, nipping at her sensitive neck, until he felt more in control.

He
made her get off and bend over the arm of the sofa, so he could take her from
behind. There was a full length mirror facing the sofa, and Christine could see
both their figures as he penetrated her. She saw his muscles of his butt flexing
as he thrust, and she felt her climax building as she watched him do her. His
head was thrown back as he continued to thrust, his hands holding her hips, thumbs
digging into her buttocks. He thrust so hard she was lifted off her feet. He
tensed, and delivered another smack to her ass. She cried out, and then he was
bucking against her as he came, triggering her own orgasm.

She
collapsed shuddering against the sofa cushions, breaking the contact, and he
cried out. He staggered a little as he went to the armchair, still panting. She
peeked at him, and giggled when she saw his pants and briefs were still pooled
at his feet.

“Very
funny,” Nick said, kicking them off weakly. He regarded her with some
amusement. She still had her skirt and blouse on, both rather the worse for
wear.

“I
knew you just came for the sex,” he added smugly, and she sat up, primly
straightening her bra and blouse, her skirt still riding high over her hips,
her panties still on the floor.

“Of
course,” Christine said, grinning.

“So
when do we tell Lisa you’re moving in?” he asked. He wanted to make sure she
would follow through. Christine pursed her lips.

“As
soon as she gets back,” she promised, then grimaced. “She’ll be fine with it,
but I have to admit I’m a little worried about telling my parents.  I’ve always
been the ‘good girl’, you know.” A thought struck her. “Do your parents know
I’m moving in? Is that why they wanted to meet me?”

Nick
shifted uncomfortably, eyeing her uneasily. He was nervous about proposing,
considering how difficult it was to get her to just move in with him. His
parents were cool, but not that cool. He didn’t want them to think any less of
Christine because they weren’t married, but he was almost certain they would.
If he hadn’t been planning to marry her, he would never have mentioned her to
them at all.

Christine
sensed he was holding something back, but she didn’t think it was because his
parents disapproved of her. They had been almost embarrassingly pleased to meet
her.

“What
is it, Nick?” she asked quietly.

“Well…they
do and they don’t,” he temporized, thinking of the engagement ring he had
bought months ago in his sock drawer. She merely waited for him to explain, and
he shifted again. “They kinda think we’re getting married.”

Christine’s
mouth dropped open in shock, and Nick folded his lips to keep from laughing.
It wasn’t a good idea to do that right now.

“Did
you tell them that?” she asked, her face unreadable as she tried to tackle with
this new dilemma.

“In
a manner of speaking,” he admitted, watching her reactions carefully. She was
staring off into space now, a habit she had when she was thinking deeply. It
was something he had gotten used to, but the first time she did it while she
was with him, it had scared him a little. It was so complete. She called it her
“zone.”  Right now, he was just glad she was thinking about it rather than
jumping up and running screaming to the door. He wouldn’t put it past her.

Marriage!

Christine’s
mind was in a whirl. She had thought about marriage, sure, but not yet. Not
until…

Until
what?

She
had never really established parameters for marriage for herself. The concept
was something in the cards, she supposed, but in the vague future, and even
with Nick she had never seriously considered it because…

Because
he had never proposed.

He
had asked her to move in, and as far as she knew, that was all he wanted.
Marriage had never been discussed, and she was not to know that it was her
commitment issues that kept him from bringing it up. The fact was several times
after a spectacular bout of lovemaking or a quiet day reading, he had had to
bite his tongue to keep it from uttering The Fatal Words. He was afraid of
losing her.

She
had been so distracted by her thoughts that she didn’t notice Nick getting up
and leaving the room. So she was startled when he came back in wearing jogging
pants, and he knelt on one knee before her.

“It
didn’t feel right doing this buck naked,” he confessed, opening a ring box. It
was a diamond solitaire, clearly an engagement ring, and the stone looked huge
to her. She raised wide eyes at him, and it reminded him of the eyes of a
startled deer caught in the headlights of a speeding car. “I have wanted to ask
you this for months,” he said, staring into her eyes. “Will you marry me?”

Christine
was still, eyes searching his face, her hands held tightly on her lap.
 Is
this for real? Do I really want to do this
?

After
what seemed an eternity, that blank look on her face faded as she came to a
decision. She looked away and got up. Nick watched her, crushed, his raised
hand holding the box falling on his raised knee. He tried to buck himself up,
telling himself he was rushing her again.
Maybe after six more months…

Christine
stooped and picked up her panties, slipping them on before straightening her
skirt. He watched her, suddenly sure that she had decided to leave after all.
His jaw clenched at the thought.
Surely she wouldn’t do that to me again?
he
thought wildly. He prepared to beg her to stay, forget about the proposal.

Then
she walked back to the sofa to sit down. “It didn’t seem right to say yes
without my underwear,” she intoned seriously, holding out her left hand.

Nick
closed his eyes for a moment, relief threatening to overwhelm him. He opened his
eyes, knowing he again had a dopey grin on his face as he slipped the ring on
her finger. He gathered her in his arms and murmured his love for her, and she
did the same.

The
stone glinted in the light.
