“I don’t deserve it.”

“That’s another thing you gave me—choices. And I choose you.”

Her admission made his eyes slide shut. She lowered her head and kissed him. Sweetly, tenderly, gaining in strength as each stroke of her tongue sent need straight to her pussy. She was bare, and he still wore jeans, which was totally unfair.

She wiggled a hand between them and found his fly, but it was impossible to do much while suspended in his arms.

Very carefully, more carefully than he’d handled his explosive, he stretched her out on the bed. “I need to taste you.”

He slithered down her body to the juncture of her thighs. His panting breaths against her flesh ignited, and she curled her fingers into his hair. “Drake.”

“You taste like heaven, Princess.” A long, slow, maddening lick from bottom to top. “And no one else is going to know this flavor but me.” Tongue swirl over her straining clit, sending spasms through her lower body. “Because you’re mine.”

“Yes,” she cried as he drove his tongue into her channel. Her walls clutched at him, trying to hold the scorching heat, which he removed too quickly. His tongue flicked over her nubbin, and his fingers filled her.

Dark need stole her control, and her body rose and fell against him, taking more, needing to reach that point on the horizon. He withdrew his fingers and splayed them, stroking her backside with one wet fingertip.

The new sensation sent another kind of heat through her. She pushed against his fingers.

Two filled her pussy. A third slipped past the tight rim of her ass.

“Fuck, Princess.” He burrowed between her thighs, shaking his head back and forth, dragging his tongue over her swollen folds as his fingers drew long moans from her.

Heat built. Pressure. Clinging to the edge. He withdrew his fingers and slowly pressed them back inside her as he painted a figure eight over her clit with his tongue.

“Drake. God, yes.” Passion stole all control. The world melted away, leaving just the two of them. Apart neither of them was quite whole. But together…

Lights burst behind her eyes. Liquid heat flooded as her body clamped around a breath-stealing orgasm. She gave herself up to pleasure, to Drake, as wild pulsations ripped through her body.

He lightened his touch, and it only drove her higher.

Drake couldn’t get his jeans off fast enough. He hated the delay in removing his boots and fighting cloth off his titanium leg. His need made his movements jerky, and the only thing that would douse his need was claiming Delta.

She still quivered from release, her features soft and relaxed, her curves enticing.

He drew his fingers under his nose then thrust them into his mouth and sucked. She twisted in the sheets, curled up as if still pulsating.

He loomed over her, his cock throbbing in his fist. Thank God she was on the pill, because after riding bareback, he couldn’t stand the thought of using a barrier.

“This is how it’ll be, Princess. I’ll protect you, and you’ll trust me. I’ll give you everything you need, including a helmet for riding only on the back of my bike. And you never, ever kneel again. Got it?”

Her eyes were two candles glowing up at him. She wrapped her tormenting little fingers around his shaft and gave it a smooth stroke. “Does that mean I can’t even kneel to suck this?”

“We’ll see.” He gently knocked her hand aside before he lost control. Cloaking her with his body, he fitted his cock at her center. “Look at me.”

The instant their gazes connected, he thrust. Filling her to the hilt, his balls tight to her flesh.

A growl vibrated through his chest. “Hold onto me, Princess.” She did, and he lifted her, pulling her forward to meet his thrusts, wanting to be deeper. Feeling so lost in her and yet found at the same time.

Heat clamped around him, and her pussy quivered. Fuck, yeah. He wanted her to come apart in his arms, all around him. With every cry he pulled from her, power surged.

Angling, he reached deeper, cock striking her soft inner wall. She stiffened, eyes wide. One more thrust and bliss glazed her eyes.

Need coiled. His cock lengthened another fraction, and he was swept away. Hot spurts left him. For what felt like a solid minute he sank into loving Delta.

When he regained his senses, she wore a self-satisfied smile.

Unable to form a coherent sentence yet, he pinched her full ass cheek hard. She squawked then giggled. He pulled free and collapsed on the mattress, tugging her into his hold. With his face buried in her hair, the world had never seemed like such a good place. Peace settled over him.

Minutes ticked by. He closed his eyes but he couldn’t sleep until he felt her relax. “I can almost hear your mind. What are you thinking?”

A heavy sigh left her. Pressing two fingers under her delicate chin, he raised her head to meet his gaze. When she didn’t speak, he prompted her. “Just say what’s on your mind, Princess.”

“I hate to bring this into our bed, but it’s…Houlihan.”

His inner beast reared up, and he was ready for battle. He stared at her. “What about him?”

“He’s still looking for me. And Lucky and Micky…my parents. They’ll never just accept that I walked away.”

His grip on her tightened. Like hell. He wouldn’t let her go.

“Drake, I don’t want to put the Sons into danger, but it’s only a matter of time before they come back. And Vasily—he won’t forget that we shot him and his partner.”

“Don’t worry about the Russians. We took care of them.”

She stilled. “When?”

“Tonight. You were right about their reasons for gambling—they were trying to take over, but the Sons took care of it.”

A full body shudder snaked through her. He hitched her closer and tangled his legs with hers. “But my people—”

We’re
your people now.”

“The Raiders…I don’t want a war over me.”

“It won’t be a war.” It would be three bullets. Two if her “mother” stayed out of it.

She flipped atop him to stare into his face. “You don’t understand. They’re going to come after me. They’ll hurt anyone who stands in their way.”

He smoothed a hand down her tense spine. “Remember what I said? I’ll protect you, and you’ll trust me.”

“Houlihan—”

It seemed she needed him to say it, though she may not like the words once they were between them.

“Princess, I’ve blown up bigger men than Houlihan. I swear to you, he’ll die. And the others who controlled you.”

Instead of her leaping off the bed and running from his inner animal, she eased beside him again, snuggling against his chest. He cradled her head in his palm, resting his thumb over the star tattoo.

“I’m nobody’s Girl.” Her soft words knifed his heart.

“No. You’re my princess.” He had to close the door on this shit for her—forever.

“I’m beat.” Ever leaned against the bar, plucking the damp fabric from her chest. They’d been cleaning up the fundraiser since early morning.

“In this heat, we have no business working outside,” Delta said, pushing a glass of iced tea toward her sister. She reached for another glass and served one to Belle too.

The girl had benefitted from a night’s sleep—probably more from sleeping under a roof where she knew she was safe. The shadows under her eyes were a bit fainter. The girls had generously found some clothes for her, and she was relaxed in a pair of leggings and a long T-shirt.

A few more sweet butts drifted in including Adele. Addy. She’d started asking people to call her that instead of Breezy, and the guys had latched onto it. Secretly Delta thought it was because the new name meant she looked and sounded like fresh blood. Either way, Addy was happier.

Carol Ann plunked down on a stool. “Mmm-mm. That sweet tea sure looks good.”

Smiling, Delta served her and everyone else who gathered, including a beautiful and sultry woman named Sarah. She put her arms around Ever.

Delta had seen the pair of them interact before, but this was no sisterly hug. Ever leaned into Sarah, who cupped Ever’s chin.

Feeling her gaze on her, Ever swung her attention to Delta. “Yes, this is what it looks like, and yes, Jamie knows.” She set down her glass. “Save my tea. I’m taking a shower.”

With that, she hurried out of the room with Sarah’s hand in hers.

“Who made this tea? You?” Carol Ann asked. The older woman was put together yet tough around the edges—just as the Hell’s Sons seemed to like their old ladies.

“Yes, I made it.”

“Looks as if you’re a good addition to this club.”

Delta’s chest warmed as she thought of Drake headed out this morning first thing and returning with a helmet for her. The man didn’t just quietly hand it to her. No, he made a show of it by gathering the whole club to witness.

“I think you all saw this coming, but I admit I didn’t.” He held up the small, simple helmet that looked better than a diamond ring to Delta. He placed it on her head, taking time to adjust her hair over her shoulders before turning to the room again. “I’m trading Scotch for this. I’ve had enough drink for a lifetime.”

He’d hooked her around the waist and jerked her roughly against his hard inches. “I’ll never get enough of this though,” he rasped low enough for her ears only.

Carol Ann drained her sweet tea. “If you can cook as well as you make tea, you’re hired. We could use a competent hand in the kitchen. Feeding the Sons is a full-time job.”

A smile spread over her face and right to the tips of her bare toes. “I’d love to help.”

With a place secured in the MC, she took the empty pitcher back to the kitchen and started a new pot to brew.

Two hard thumps that made her flinch resounded through the club. “Guys, we’re going to church,” she heard Jamison call.

Heart surging into her throat, she spun and pressed a hand over it. Why were they going to church? Had Drake started the ball rolling on what he’d discussed with her in bed?

She hurried to the front room in time to see lots of black leather pouring into the private room they called church. Peeking in, she caught Drake already seated, his face grim.

The door closed, and she stopped breathing.

“It’ll be okay, honey. Let them have their meeting.” Carol Ann placed a hand on her arm.

Delta didn’t realize she was breathing so hard and fast until the woman touched her. She longed for Ever, but her sister was blissfully unaware of the situation. If she knew how worried Delta was about what might go down between rival MCs, she’d be going a little nuts too.

No, it was best that Ever wouldn’t see how worked up Delta was.

She followed Carol Ann out of the main room where Delta couldn’t stare through the closed door and wish for X-ray vision. Belle was already there, curled in the corner of a couch like a small cat. Delta gave Carol Ann a soft smile then headed for Belle.

When she sank beside her, Belle roused a little, and Delta realized she was in her own world. She looked closer.

Belle was much like Girl. Withdrawn, waiting for someone to hurt her. Aching.

Cautiously Delta placed a hand on her arm. The skin was so pale and fine that she could see a thin blue vein under the surface. “You don’t know what to do with yourself, do you?”

Without the constant fear and commands, the woman was lost.

She shook her head. Warm brown hair tumbled over her shoulders. Someone had kept her well, at least. Regularly hair and nail visits. No scars—on the outside at least.

Delta found a little more strength. “Drake helped me. He got me out of that life. And I’m going to help you. No one’s going to harm you here.” She kept her voice low enough that the others couldn’t overhear.

Belle nodded. “I never thought they’d bring me back here—so close to home.”

What she didn’t say was close to the people who’d sold her. Delta’s people—the ones Drake was probably in church discussing right now.

She suppressed a shiver and smoothed a hand over Belle’s arm. A choked noise left the woman, and she turned into Delta’s arms. She didn’t cry, but she did shake.

Delta held tighter. “The Russians won’t come back for you. The Sons have taken care of them.” In the wee hours between lovemaking, Drake had spilled the whole story to Delta. While she was quite good at listening to men brag about killings, this was different.
