He opened the door to the small refrigerator and pulled out a bottle water. He took a large gulp and let the liquid soothe his throat and open up his mind further. From now on he’d stick to leaving his ex out of their relationship. What did he expect to gain from inviting her in the first place? The reality hit him. Nothing, but to stroke his ego.

Christian turned to see Egypt was no longer sleeping. She sat up with a start and held her hands to her head. Even with red eyes, she looked amazing. A hangover from one too many drinks had set in. He’d only seen her drink two but no telling what really transpired between Egypt and Natasha to cause her to drink them in a rush and maybe even more than he witnessed. He hid a smile because he reaped the benefits of her tipsy state all night long.

His breath caught in his throat as faint memories resurfaced. Egypt rode and sucked on him until his toes curled. He came so much he was afraid he’d turn inside out.

Egypt rushed from the bed and sprinted barefoot to the bathroom. Seconds later the sounds of vomiting echoed out the small space.

Honey, are you okay?” He paused in the doorway. She kneeled in front of the stall.

Her body lurched forward and she dry heaved.

Let it out, baby.” He rubbed her back. “Are you sure you only had two drinks? I’ve never seen you this way.”

She nodded and heaved again. A few more deep breaths and she spoke. “Water. Two and a half. That woman had me so on edge.”

He stepped away and returned with a bottle. After twisting the top off, he handed it to her. “Take it slow.”

The wild look in her eyes showed how bad she wanted to guzzle but she listened to his advice and sipped.

Here’s some Aspirin.” He handed her two pills he’d retrieved from out her purse when getting the water.

A half smile of gratitude crossed her face. She placed the chalky substance in her mouth and followed it up with a big swallow of water. “What happened?”

You don’t remember?”

She shook her head, walked out the bathroom, and slumped down on the bed. “Vaguely. We got on the elevator and…” Her head dropped in shame.

What’s wrong? You did nothing wrong.” His ego was a bit bruised from her lack of memory. He thought the sex was high on the list of being the best of his life. Christian pushed his feeling to the side and thought of her. The ordeal affected her more than he thought to make her drink that much. He sat next to her on the bed and rubbed her thigh.

I don’t want you to think I’m going to freak out every time another woman is around. She just...” Tears threatened to spill over. She sniffed. “I can’t bear the thought of you being with another woman.”

His heart swelled. “Sweetheart. Natasha has nothing on you.”

She shot him a dirty look. “You better not have proposed to her first.”

He laughed. “No. In fact, I never thought of marrying anyone until I saw you. I told you I never proposed to her when you asked last night.”

She let out a sigh of relief but was far from happy. “I don’t want her around us anymore. She’s the past. Showing up at events off of your invite is taking it too far.”

Darling. I love you. You’re the only one for me.” He pulled her in his arms and held her tight. “Now go brush your teeth because you smell awful.”

She gave him a swat and let out a giggle before going back into the bathroom. Christian tried holding back once he heard the shower start after she brushed her teeth. He allowed her the time to clear her mind. But, when the door opened. Christian’s member rose to greet her. With a slight tug of his hand, the towel fell to the floor. His eyes twinkled while scanning her body as if seeing it for the first time.

Her brown ridges pointed forward and beads of water glistened off her finely trimmed hairs leading to the Brazilian waxed folds of her vagina.

You’re so beautiful,” he said.

I love what I see as well.”

Christian wasted no time. He picked her up, carried her to the sink area, and hosted her onto the counter. Egypt’s lips sought Christian’s, and their tongues danced before his found their way to her neck. She panted as he broke free of her lips.

Her fingers threaded his hair. Christian kneeled before her, captivating her with his hungry gaze. He went from her neck to landing soft kisses on Egypt’s breasts while his hand slid down across her stomach. Egypt sucked in a breath.

He grazed a finger across her moist heat and his mouth focused on her nipple. Her back arched when he drew her in his mouth, sucking the nipple until it hardened. His hand stroked between her legs in pace with her licks.

She opened her legs wide, allowing him easy access to insert a finger. He pushed deep inside her hot folds. It amazed him at how her body adjusted back after being inside her all night. The tightness gripping his finger provided a suction motion. His dick stiffened to the point it nearly hurt.

Oh, Christian.” She clutched his shoulder. Her nails scraped against his flesh.

His breathing labored matching hers. She was close and he knew it. Grabbing fistfuls of hair, she forced him to her other breast. He sucked and squeezed the nipple between his tongue and roof of his mouth.

He flicked his tongue around but had a taste for something else. He removed his drenched finger from her hole and licked it. Her eyes widened in delight. She released the grip on his head and he moved down between her legs. He encased the clit, making small loops. Passion exploded from her.

Oh. Oh!” Her body quivered against him.

He continued licking as the wave passed. Egypt caught her breath and pushed him back against the sink. His cheeks rested against it as she maneuvered between his legs. A simmering desire filled him, and she gave him a devilish grin. Her tongue snaked out and she lapped at his chest, making her way south. Her hands grazed his thighs as her breasts dangled above his arousal.

Without breaking her gaze, she gave him slight breath of warm air as a warning before taking him in her mouth. Her wet lips slid down his cock. He stiffened from the sensation and his balls hardened.

Baby.” He squirmed. It took everything in him not to release at her touch.

She continued, non-relenting. Her tongue swirled around his tip.

Egypt,” he growled.

She had him on the edge. Her attention went to his sack. She sucked from one then the other. He glanced down at her doing things most women before her wouldn’t dare. The imagery drove him wild. He couldn’t take it anymore and yanked her up. He reached down and guided himself inside her wet mound. Christian pushed against her, exploring her depths. With each stroke her insides molded to him.

Mmm,” she cried out.

You feel so good,” he whispered against her ear.

Christian caught their reflection in the mirror. Their bodies entwined into one. Vanilla mixing with her brown hue. She rocked on top of him. He moved against her thrusting, matching her rhythm.

In one swift motion, he pushed deep within her and carried her to the bed. He lay her on her side, switching their position. She gasped from the force behind his thrust.

His voice went ragged. “This…feels…so…good.” Each syllable matched a pump.

She opened her legs farther, allowing him more depth. Moans came from deep within his throat as he pushed them to the edge.

She grabbed his balls, gripping and tugging. He moved harder and faster. His body shook with each thrust until he tensed. Her insides throbbed around him while they both reached their climax.

His chest puffed out a moment as he rekindled his ego. Spent, they both collapsed in each other’s arms. They stayed that way until housekeeping knocked on the door.

Chapter Fourteen

Egypt placed the phone into the side of her neck. It would be a quick call so she didn’t bother with the hands free device.

Hey, baby. I’m hanging out with the girls for a bit tonight. Tasha begged me for another chance and I’m trying. She’s the only family I have here…” She started her car and pulled out the parking garage into the packed streets. Unlike the morning drive, evening rush hour fared no better than the cars sitting on the side of the streets at the meters. The entire street was gridlocked. “This is her final shot though.”

Okay, love. I’m working late anyway. I have to finish before I catch the flight tomorrow.”

I won’t be long. Love you.” She blew a kiss into the phone.

Traffic began to creep. Soon, she got up to twenty-five miles an hour, enough for her to get to a street in which she could turn off and bypass the congestion. The route landed her on the same road as Christian’s office. If not for a meeting he’d sent her to earlier this is where she would have come out. She thought about stopping in, but Tasha would kill her.

It took some trying but Egypt finally answered the calls from Tasha. She apologized for thinking her love for Christian was false and stated she wanted to make amends and just hang out. Egypt agreed but wouldn’t be a fool. If David showed up she’d drop kick the both of them and would never speak to her cousin again.

The light turned red. Random thoughts of sitting on Christian’s desk with his head between her thighs danced in her head. A car horn beeped. She blinked and realized the light changed again. In her rearview mirror, she caught the man behind her waving hello with his middle finger and a brunette sliding into the doors of Christian’s building.

Her stomach fell to the pit of her stomach.

Call Christian’s office,” she spoke to her hands free device. Egypt pulled forward before the driver behind her got out of his car and attacked her for holding up traffic.

Christian Bradley’s office,” an older woman’s voice crackled through the line. Another assistant who filled in while she was away answered the line.

Hi, Marla. Is my husband available?” Hopefully the woman wouldn’t think too much into her calling the business line at this hour instead of his cell phone. Being a quarter to six, Egypt was slightly surprised the woman answered at all.

No, Mrs. Bradley. He’s in a meeting. Do you want me to take a message for later?”

No. I’ll see him at home, thank you.” Embarrassed, she hung up. She should have known better. There were a million brunettes in Atlanta, a few of which work in the building. She’d been silly to think the brunette was Natasha.

She shook the thoughts out her mind and continued to the bar, parked, and headed inside.

It’s about time you showed up!” Tasha waved at her. She and two of her friends were already at a table. The women smiled at Egypt.

I said six.” Egypt plopped down in the empty seat.

It’s ten after.” Tasha licked her tongue out and slid her a drink.

The fruity concoction looked inviting. “What is it?”

Miami Vice. This one’s Keisha’s pick.”

The one she assumed was Keisha smiled and took a sip, her small hands in contradiction to her large frame.

Egypt followed suit. “This is delicious.”

I know. It’s why I chose it.” Keisha winked.

How are things at the firm?” She inquired about Tasha’s new job. To Egypt’s surprise Tasha had taken online classes to become a paralegal. It was probably where she met the two women with her because they didn’t seem to be the normal group she hung around.

Stop it.” Tasha jumped in before anyone had a chance. “No work talk, remember? We come here to not think about our crazy clients or the annoying lawyers we work for.”

They all laughed. Egypt sipped her drink, and her thoughts went back to the brunette walking in the building. What was wrong with her? Why would she assume it was that woman? Why did she have to appear when things were going great between her and Christian?

Hey, cuz, what’s up?”

Egypt glanced up to see they were alone at the table. Tasha’s friends were off flirting with the men seated around the bar. “Nothing. Why?”
