Si, mi hermana is in love, and I’m feliz that it’s with Javier because she deserves him.
Well, this is turning out to be very interesting for just having lunch and going bowling. Now I know why mi amor made all of these plans. He wanted to help them see each other today. Good thing, mi amor is such a great hombre,
thought Jessy smiling with pleasure.
They really look feliz y in love. I have to ask mi amor what the big problema is.
“Gaby, let me see,” said Mona smiling, taking the bracelet as Gabriella hands it to her. “Oh wow, dios mio what a gorgeous bracelet.”
“Si, muy lindo,” said Jessy agreeing. “Put it on, Gaby.”
“Si, hermana, put it on,” said Mona, handing it back.
Javier takes it and puts the bracelet on her wrist with lots of amor and care, gazing into her ojos, smiling.
I can see how feliz this makes her, and I can’t wait to see her felicidad when I give her the engagement ring.
“Gabriella, I love you,” said Javier, not caring that they heard. They also fell in love quickly.
I know that she is the one.
“Si baby, I love you,” said Gabriella grinning, looking only into his hermoso green ojos.
Javier is all I care about. He’s mio, only mio.

ENTIRE
FAMILIA
is at the Sunday dinner with todos excited with the news that two of las primas eloped to Vegas this weekend, and Christian had eloped last weekend. La familia is excited in meeting the new esposos. The new couples are absorbed in their own world and didn’t notice anything or anybody else.
“Hermana, you’re sneaky,” said Erica, looking at her esposo.
Hmm, he’s muy guapo and just what Bella always wanted. I’m so feliz that mi hermana is married.
“Hermana, have you talked to the priest about the church ceremony?”
“No, hermana, tu sabes that we haven’t had tiempo,” said Bella, feeling Greg pull her closer to his side, while he talks to her hermano Alex. “You did meet Carlos, he looks exactly like Gabriel? Paty is muy feliz. We didn’t have tiempo to see or talk in Vegas.”
“Si, Carlos looks like Gabriel, and I know that Paty is muy feliz,” said Erica, looking over at Paty y Carlos talking close and quietly smiling into each other’s ojos. “I haven’t had tiempo to talk to her, but I will go over.”
“Si, hermana, todos are real busy with the weddings, y soon, we will all be changing diapers,” said Bella grinning, knowing that she is pregnant.
I just know it.
“Si, hermana, mi mama will be changing lots of diapers with Danni, Mona, tu y yo having bebes,” she said with a huge smile, flashing her dimples.
“Hermana, do you know if you’re pregnant?” asks Bella in a whisper, leaning closer to hear Erica.
“Si hermana,” whispers Erica, trying to control her excitement, “Estoy muy feliz.”
“Hermana, si yo tambien estoy feliz, I still have to wait a few days to take the test,” she whispers back. “Erica, I feel that I am.”
“Hermana, si, you are if you can feel it. I felt it also, and Gabriel swears that he knew right away,” said Erica, looking for Gabriel.
Gabriel stops to talk to his hermano y Paty before returning with the drinks.
“Hermano, Paty, felicidades. I’m so contento that you found such a bella and buena mujer,” said Gabriel with sincere gusto. “Now we’re una familia.”
“Si, hermano, estoy muy contento, and we are really lucky to marry estas mujers,” said Carlos, smiling at his hermano, glancing at Paty with todo su amor. “We’ll be talking to the priest to set a wedding date. I need to get fitted for the tux for next Saturday. Mi little hermano is getting married. I beat you to it even if you had a head start in locating tu amor.”
“Si, hermano, you cheated. I wish I had thought about running to Vegas. Jose Enrique and I are the only ones that are waiting for the church ceremony,” said Gabriel, looking at his sweet angel. “Hermano, I’ll call you. I need to be with mi sweet angel. Our time is almost up,”
“Okay, hermano. I’ll talk to you mañana,” said Carlos, pulling Paty closer to him to give her un beso. He didn’t care that everybody sees.
She’s mi mujer
, he thought possessively. “Baby, you’re staying with me esta noche.”
“Si, siempre,” said Paty smiling, wanting to be with him, siempre. “Corazon, I love you.” She leans in for un beso.
“Baby, you need to get Tony to go to la casa and rest. He’s not looking well,” said Jacki, looking at Tony’s pale complexion and rojo ojos. “Tus padres will notice and get really worried.”
“Si, mi Reina, I will try,” said Ricky, looking at his hermano.
Tony is sitting at the mesa, attempting to eat his dinner, trying to ignore his headache.
Que diablos was I thinking, drinking all of that tequila? I feel like hell and dying even now after hours of sleep.
Ricky is observing how pale and gray Tony looks. “You need to go para la casa and rest some more. I don’t think it’s a good idea to try to get Cynthia esta noche.”
Tony turns to look at his hermano. “No te metas,” he said through clenched teeth, taking a drink of his water, trying to kill the thirst.
Ricky looks at Jose Enrique to have him come over with Christian. He then turns to look at Alex and Javier to get them to come over to help out
“Primos, Tony is acting big time loco. We know he wants to get Cynthia out. We need to stop Tony before Lopez lo mata” said Ricky really concern looking at los primos for help.
“Primo, estas loco. You know you should wait at least until mañana. Chris told me that Lopez has guards around la casa,” said Jose Enrique with frustration.
“Hermano, you need to listen to reason. Eres un hombre y no un niño. You need to stop being terco,” said Ricky with anger and fear for his hermano.
Tony hears them, but doesn’t care.
I will go for mi alma esta noche
, he thought “Si, I will wait until mañana.” He smiles.
ALEX
CALLS
JOSE
ENRIQUE
TO
see if he knows what’s happening with los primos getting beaten up. “Hola primo it’s Alex, I’m calling to advise you that Tony is in the hospital, all beaten up. The paramedics picked him up on the street. Primo, do you know what’s going on? Why are los primos getting beaten up?” asks Alex, looking out of the window thinking of several possibilities. I wonder if this has anything to do with his mujer.
“Primo, que diablos pasa, what a mess, and I think that Tony went to try to get his mujer out of la casa de su padre,” said Jose Enrique with frustration on hearing the news. “We all thought that he agreed to wait until today to get additional information before attempting to get Cynthia out.”
“Si primo, but Tony has not been himself since meeting his mujer,” said Alex in anger. “She has been nothing but un gran problema.”
“Primo, no es Cynthia y ella lo ama,” said Jose Enrique getting upset that la familia will start pointing at Cynthia for all of what’s been happening, and that’s exactly what Tony didn’t want to happen. “I will be there in a few.”
“Okay primo, I’ll wait for you,” said Alex, thinking of what he said.
“Dios mio, ayuda mi familia,” prays Jose Enrique, arriving at the hospital, going directly to the ER to talk to Alex, to see how Tony is doing.
“Primo,” said Jose Enrique, walking into Tony’s cuarto, seeing that he is asleep, “how’s he doing?”
“Primo, Tony has a loss of consciousness. He hasn’t woken up, and all of the punches that he received in the fight were accelerations g-forces that caused exert rotational forces in the brain, especially the midbrain and diencephalon,” said Alex worried about Tony and what this can mean. “His vitals are good, and we didn’t see anything wrong internally. But we need to do additional tests. It looks like he has mild traumatic brain injury, a concussion.”
“Primo, you’re scaring me. Mis tios will be devastated. Why didn’t one of us stay with him last night?” asks Jose Enrique pacing back and forth thinking of what he should had done or his primos to prevent Tony from going to get Cynthia.
“Si primo, and mis tios are on their way. We’ll run the tests and pray that Tony wakes up quick,” said Alex going out to order the tests to be done immediately.
Jose Enrique is pacing back and forth thinking, praying
Dios mio por favor ayuda Tony to get better. Please help us with the cartel y por favor dame fuerzas. Everything is getting out of control, and I need to be at the office. I will call Bella y Paty for help.
“Hola primo,” said Bella smiling, thinking of her esposo, Gregory.
“Prima I’m at the hospital. Alex called me this morning to advise me that Tony has been beaten up. I’m here right now waiting for mis tios. Tony is having additional tests done. Prima, Tony has a concussion and is unconscious,” said Jose Enrique with dolor in his voz. “Please tell mi hermana, and I’ll be here at the hospital for a little while. I need both of you to be in charge.”
“Si primo, I’ll tell Paty, you’re calling Jessy?” asks Bella, wondering what’s up.
“Si, prima. I’ll call Jessy,” said Jose Enrique. “I’ll see ya later.”
Jose Enrique calls Jessy. “Hola mi amor,” he said. “I’m at the hospital for a while. Tony has been beaten up and is unconscious. It appears he has a concussion.”
“Mi vida that’s awful,” said Jessy. “I will pray for him. Please keep mi advised on his condition.”
“Si mi amor,” said Jose Enrique, looking at his tios step into the cuarto. “I’ll call you later.”
Jessy turns to look at Mona y Vero to tell them the news. “It was mi vida, and he’s at the hospital with Tony. Tony got beaten up and is unconscious. It appears he has a mild traumatic brain injury, MTBI,” said Jessy, looking at las primas. “We need to pray that he wakes up.”
“Oh dios mio,” said Mona with concern. “We need to tell Cynthia.”
“Si we do,” said Vero, looking at Mona y Jessy. “We need to pray that mi hermano wakes because he can fall into a deep coma. Jessy, I need to go to the hospital and be there for mi familia.”
“Oh dios mio, of course you need to go,” said Jessy, hearing the possibilities and praying that Tony wakes up. “How can we tell Cynthia?”
“I can visit her and tell her,” said Mona, looking at Jessy and praying that she’ll be okay if she goes now.
“Si Mona, I think you should go now and tell her what’s happening. She needs to be with Tony,” said Jessy, thinking that she would want to be with her amor if he was sick.
“Okay, Jessy. I’ll go now,” said Mona with relief, thankful that Jessy thought the same way.
“Prima, make sure to let us know what’s happening with Cynthia,” said Vero. “I’ll call you if there is any news on Tony’s condition.”
“Si, I will, I’ll return in a couple of hours,” said Mona walking quickly out of the office.
“Tios,” said Jose Enrique, walking toward them and praying that they will not get scared. “Tony is unconscious, and Alex has ordered some additional tests.”
“Dios mio, mira como esta mi niño, mi hijo por favor despertar,” said his mama Lupe rubbing his back, evaluating todo los bruises on his cara. “Mi hijo,” she said with tears running down her cara.
His papa Jorge is also anguished for his hijo with tears in his ojos.
The nurses came into el cuarto to take Tony to get the tests done. “Excuse me, Dr. De La Cruz requested some additional tests to be done,” said the nurse with a smile. “We’ll bring him back after the tests, and then he most likely will be taken to a room.”
Jose Enrique looks at the nurse and nods. “We will wait here,” he said, turning to his tios. “Would you like me to bring you something to drink?” he asks his tios as the nurses wheel Tony away.
“Si mi hijo yo quiero agua,” said his tia Lupe, turning to her esposo. “Mi amor do you want some agua or café?”
“Mi hijo quiero agua, gracias,” said his tio Jorge, going to his esposa to give her a hug, rubbing her back in consolation. “Amor, dios va a aliviar a nuestro hijo.”
“Si, Jorge, pero duele mucho,” said his tia Lupe.
Jose Enrique went to get them their water, wishing that they had been with Tony last night.
We should have gone with him when he asked
, he thought with frustration. He returns to el cuarto, and Tony is back from the tests.
“Tios,” he said, giving them the agua, Alex walks into el cuarto.
“Mi hijo,” said his tia Lupe when he sees Alex. “Como esta Sebastian Antonio?” she asks, imploring him to give her the entire condition of her niño.
“Tios,” said Alex, looking at them and praying that they will be strong when they learn what Tony’s condition is, “Tony’s vitals are good, and he is unconscious. We just did some tests to determine if there are other areas that are injured. At this time it looks like he has a concussion, has a mild traumatic brain injury.”
“Mi hijo, when will we have the results of these tests?” asks his tio Jorge, looking at his sobrino, Alex.
“Tios, I will come to advise you as soon as I get the information,” said Alex. “Tony will be moved to un cuarto in a few minutes.”
“Si mi hijo,” said his tia Lupe, looking at her niño. The nurses returned to take Tony to un cuarto, his padre y primo followed.
Tony’s padres, Jose Enrique are in his cuarto in the hospital, waiting y praying that he wakes up. Tony’s papa Jorge calls his hijo Ricardo to advise him of Tony’s condition.
“Mi hijo,” said his papa Jorge as Ricky answers the call.
“Buenos dias, Papa,” said Ricky, wondering where his papa is since he’s not en casa, “Que pasa?”
“Mi hijo, Tony esta en el hospital y esta mal,” said his papa Jorge with tears in his ojos, trying to be strong for his esposa.
“Que paso?” asks Ricky with fear. “Did Tony try to get Cynthia last night?”
His papa Jorge couldn’t talk and gives the phone to Jose Enrique to continue with the information. “Primo, Tony is unconscious and has a mild traumatic brain injury, a concussion.”
“How did this happen?” asks Ricky with fear, turning to look at Jacki.
“Primo, it looks like he was beaten up. His cara is swollen with lots of bruises. He has some cracked ribs. I think that he went to Cynthia,” said Jose Enrique in a low voz, turning so his tios wouldn’t hear.
It will not be good to have la familia pissed at Cynthia when I know that Tony will not want that.
“Que la chengada esta pasando, I can’t move,” he said with frustration. “How can I help mi hermano?”
“Right now we need to pray that he wakes up. We will take care of the other issues later,” said Jose Enrique, thinking of Lopez. “I will call Lopez y try to find out if he is involved in this.”
“Si primo, and let me know the status de mi hermano,” said Ricky with a heavy heart.
“Si, primo, no worries aqui estoy,” said Jose Enrique, knowing that he will need to stay here with Tony to make sure everything is going well.
Mona returns to the office and calls Vero to advise her that Cynthia is well but is still locked up en su casa by her padre.
“Vero, Cynthia is still locked up by her padres. She wants you to tell Tony that she’ll be with him as soon as she can escape,” said Mona, looking at Jessy walk into the office. “She fainted when I told her the news. She loves Tony.”
“Si I know, we all know it. We saw it in her ojos on Friday,” said Vero smiling. “They are both in love.”
“Si Vero, they are both in love,” said Mona smiling, nodding in agreement. “Tony gave her a precioso engagement ring. Cynthia wants to marry Tony.”
“Oh dios mio, I hope everything will work out. We need to pray that Tony wakes up,” said Vero, walking down the hall. “I’m going into his cuarto now. Talk to you later.”
“Si adios,” said Mona, looking at Jessy. “What do you think?”
“I know that they are in love, and I also know that something is keeping them apart. We need to pray for Tony,” said Jessy, looking at Mona.
Vero arrives at the hospital and has to wait to get to see Tony.
Mis padres and primo are with him. We need to take turns. I’ll call Jose Enrique to see if he or mis padres can come out
. “Primo I’m outside. I need one of you guys to come out so I can go in and see Tony. I want mis padres to come out since I don’t think they know about Cynthia. Mona went to see Cynthia,” said Vero. “She wants me to tell Tony that she will be here as soon as she can.”
“Okay prima that sounds good. Maybe if he hears that she is coming, he will try to wake up,” said Jose Enrique with some hope, turning to look at his tios. “Good thing that they didn’t hear me. I will ask them to step out for a bit.”
“Okay,” said Vero, looking around to see if anybody else is waiting to go in. Hmmm … Claudia is on assignment, and Ricky is still at home. Vero looks out the window and starts to pray for her hermano. I now need to light a candle. I’ll call Jacki and have her light a candle for Tony. “Hola, Jacki,” said Vero.
“Hola, Vero, how’s Tony?” asks Jacki. “We have been praying for him. You know that we want to be there. I will try to get Ricky over there later.”
“Si, that will be nice, and we will be together. Jacki, can you please light a candle for me? We have some in the pantry,” said Vero. “I will really love it if you two can come down for a bit.”
“Si, Vero, I will see how Ricky is feeling. I will give him some pain medication. We’ll be at the hospital as soon as he starts to feel better,” said Jacki grinning, looking at Ricky wink at her. “I will light the candle, okay?”
“Si, y gracias,” said Vero smiling, seeing that her padres were walking toward her. “I have to go. It’s my turn to see Tony.”
“See ya later,” said Jacki, smiling.
“Si, later,” said Vero, smiling at her padres and walking toward them to give them a hug. “Mama, Papa, how is Tony doing?”
“Mi hija, he’s still unconscious,” said her mama with tears in her ojos. “I don’t know who would hurt mi niño so much.”
“Mama, it is probably a random attack,” said Vero smiling, trying to make the situation a little better. “I want to see Tony.”
“Si, mi hija,” said her papa. “We will wait out here.”
