“YOU COOKED BREAKFAST?” It was a rhetorical question but I was shocked and excited as my stomach growled reminding me of how pissed off it still was at me. But my pussy on the other hand, was finally happy and slightly sore after all the attention Brent had lathered it with. So, my stomach could put a sock in it for all I cared.

“I’m a man of many talents,” Brent winked as he flipped an egg onto a plate.

“You can say that again,” I blurted out.

“I’m a man of many talents,” he teased. “But I’m more than just sexually talented.” He scowled at me and was barely able to hold the serious glare before his lips curved upward, showing me that he was playing.

“You’re a cook and a porn star. Well, at least you got those two things going for you.” I nonchalantly shrugged as I stood by him grabbing a coffee cup out of the cabinet. I was thankful to not be facing him because I was barely containing my smile as I looked forward. He smacked my ass and I yelped.

“I need to pitch that storyline to a director sometime.”

I narrowed my eyes at him before grabbing a piece of bacon and pouring my coffee. “Yeah, I’m sure you’d be able to make that corny idea into something hot.” My words were laced with annoyance. I wanted to lace them with sarcasm, but that was impossible when I knew what I had said to be the truth. He could make a porn about a garbage man banging a homeless woman, scavenging through trash in a landfill and it would be hot.

We made our plates and then sat next to each other at the bar part of the counter. “What kinds of things do you have going for you?” he asked, stumping me with his question. “Since you know…I only have two going for me.” He smiled and leaned in, playfully shoulder bumping me.

He was attempting to pry again, and that time I let him. The previous night showed me that we were both on the same mind set about our precarious situation. So, it couldn’t be bad to actually allow him to get to know some of me.

I sat and thought about his question, really taking it in and debating the answer with myself. What did I have going for me? I asked myself over and over, coming up with nothing. “Well,” I cleared my throat and took a sip of my coffee, “besides my job…nothing really. And the whole job thing is still a toss-up as it is.” He kept eating, not replying, so I started rambling as I explained what I meant. “My job is basically my life. I’ve worked there the last three years and it’s what I’ve always wanted to do.”

“But?” he encouraged me to continue.

“But, I’m not sure where it’s going. Like I said, I’ve been there three years, and this is my first ever assignment. And I bust my ass more than anyone else, yet I always get passed up. So, that’s why I need to make the best impression with my findings here.”

“I’m not sure your job will be interested in those types of findings.” He smirked at me then turned in his stool, facing me. “But when I asked what you had going for you, I wasn’t meaning your job. I was meaning you, Lucy Rogers. Surely, you’re life consists of more than work.”

I felt embarrassed. My life revolved around my stupid job that I at times lost sleep over in hopes of it paying off one day. And it finally did. Or so I had thought.

“Ahh. I like to read,” I said out of nowhere to fill the silence that my nonexistent life conjured. Brent grabbed my hand and looked at me with a smidgen of pity. “I’m pretty boring.” I pulled my hand away, hating the way his eyes made me feel. I didn’t want his pity. It was the life I had chosen for myself. Don’t pity what someone wants if they don’t pity it themselves.

“I can attest to that being a lie. Unless to you boring means fun, cautious, sexy, smart and witty then you are nowhere close to being boring. And I’ve known you how long—two days give or take some hours?”

“You only think I’m not boring because I had sex with you.” I stood up.

“Not true. If that was the case, I’d think every woman I’ve worked with was interesting.”

“Whore,” I teased as I walked to the sink, setting my plate down
.

“You weren’t complaining about my whore-ish ways getting you off last night.” My cheeks heated as I remembered the sensations he caused. I turn my back against the counter and watch him as he made his way toward me causing the rest of my body to heat up. He stood so close a ruler wouldn’t have fit between us. “I don’t recall you complaining this morning either.” He smirked before his head came closer to mine and I thought he was going to place those sweet lips of his against my neck again, but he didn’t. I heard the plate clatter against mine as he sat his on top and inched his body away without bothering to dissipate the heat he created.

“Oh crap,” I said, pushing off the counter as I rushed to get my purse from my room. I walked back into the kitchen with my array of pills I take every morning. At my apartment, I kept them next to the sink so I never forget to take them. “Being here has totally jacked up my schedule.” I line up my vitamin bottles after getting the two I take in the morning, making sure to take my birth control as well. I wasn’t trying to get knocked up by a porn star.

Brent stood nearby, leaning against the counter as he watched me. I knew he saw the unmistakable flat, round casing of my birth control, but he didn’t say anything. I was sure he’d throw a fit about me being on the pill and still making him wrap it. Which technically, I had only mentioned the whole condom thing the first time we hooked up. The previous night and that morning, he took it upon himself.

“So,” I turned myself around and leaned back against the counter. “What’s on today’s agenda?” Brent cocked a brow. “You know? My assignment. I think it said something along the lines of
‘A day in the life of a Porn Star.’”
I held my hands out in front of me mimicking how some people do when they come up with a brilliant title and are portraying it being plastered on some big screen. Brent just shook his head with a slight smile before telling me to go change.

“SO. WHAT DOES the day of a porn life consist of?” Shepard asks and I know he’s not meaning just Brent’s. He’s referring to me as well.

“I can’t attest to this for every porn star out there, but the only difference I’ve seemed to find is the fact that they don’t have a nine-to-five job like the typical working class. Porn stars don’t have to clock in and work a forty-hour week to pay their bills. Yeah, there’s preparation for shoots that must be done. But that’s not just in regards to porn stars. That goes for anyone who is in a profession where their body brings in the money. Movie stars, models, musicians—the list of people who have to keep in shape, hit the gym, eat well and even tan to maintain an image is endless. But that’s not all they do while they’re off. Most indulge in hobbies or other endeavors that also interest them. Maybe passions that they love, but don’t afford them a comfortable lifestyle to live off of.”

“Like Brent and his art?” Shepard asks. I knew he did his homework.

“Exactly.” I smile proudly—proud that Shepard seems to be clearing the misconception most people have out of his head.

“WHAT IS IT about being in an elevator with me?” Brent asked with amusement as we descended with space between us. Space I purposely put there. “Why do you stay away from me?”

I shrugged. “Basic laws of physics.”

“For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction,” Brent quoted Newton’s Third Law of Motion almost shocking the panties right off of me. Not because I was a closest physicist. But because Brent was obviously more than just a pretty face and bangin’ body.

“Something like that.” I looked up and smiled. He grabbed my hand, and intertwined our fingers together.

“I think what we have here, Lucy, is a basic Law of Attraction.”

He was right. And there was no denying it.

I stood next to Brent’s motorcycle, thrilled I was getting to ride it again. He placed a soft kiss on my lips, catching me off guard before placing the helmet over my head. I didn’t really know what to think of him kissing me in public since I’d thought whatever was taking place between us was strictly behind the scenes. But once I climbed behind him on the bike and felt it come alive beneath me, the questions his lips left me with became a distant thought as my arms tightly wrapped around him. I didn’t question where he was taking me or worry that I could be headed to some sort of porn factory. I just held on, and enjoyed the ride. The sky was clear and full of sunshine as we took to the open two-lane highway heading out of the city. Since it was a weekday, the roads were pretty empty, which made it even more enjoyable. I was able to take in the mountain views and tall greens covering their vastness. A few times, I tightened my thighs against Brent’s hips and threw my arms out, feeling completely free. A good thirty minutes or so later and a couple more times tightening my legs against him and we were pulling over into an abandoned rest area.

“Why we stopping?” I yelled over the engine. He turned it off as I continued yelling, “Needing to take a leak?” He didn’t reply. Hell, he didn’t even make a move to get off the bike. Brent grabbed my hand that was still planted on his stomach and moved it down, resting it against the inside of the uppermost part of his thigh. He was hard. So hard…and I was instantly turned on.

“I thought I could make it this whole ride without the need to touch you taking over.” He rubbed my hand over his hardness. “But then you started clenching those thighs…those damn thighs of yours. And all I could do was picture how perfect they look naked, clenching around me.”

I unlatched the helmet and carefully let it drop to the ground. Then I slid my hand back around his waist and slowly made way undoing his belt as my other hand, memorized by the way his jeans outlined his dick. I fingered every ridge of it as I trailed my fingers along it, taking my time outlining the head. Sensory overload was hitting me full speed and I couldn’t control it. Feeling how turned on he was had my body on high alert. I needed him. I wanted him—more than I had wanted or needed anything in my life. I needed to feel him inside me more than I needed to breathe. Maybe that was a bit drastic.

With his pants open, I slid my hand beneath his boxers, pulling his cock out, exposing it to the world around us. Being out in the open, yet so hidden was electrifying.

“No offense to your hand, Lucy. But your pussy looks better around my cock.” Brent’s words put my body in motion, but before I could hop off, he did, making sure the kickstand was firmly in place before he sat facing me. He wasted no time anchoring his arms underneath my legs, spreading me as he pulled me closer to him. I let my body fall backwards, resting on the seat. I unbuttoned my shorts quickly, lifting my ass in the air for him to remove them, leaving my panties on. Brent’s arms tightened around my legs as his hips slid back and forth rubbing his cock against my covered clit.

“I don’t know what it is about you,” he moaned as he grabbed his cock and pressed it firmly against me, causing me to moan back. “I can’t fucking get enough.” I reached down, pushing my strip of fabric aside, granting him access to take what we both wanted. Still cradling my legs under his arms, he slowly pushed his way in, allowing his body to press down against mine as he did. “You’re so insatiable,” he groaned against my ear and I whimpered. It took mere minutes before Brent came, telling me that I must have really worked him up.
