"I was till Jake interrupted us," I pushed her back. "Eien, wanted to talk to him."

I looked up at the balcony leading into Oliver's office. He was looking down at me with a smirk. My face flushed. He had been watching me. I don't know why but it made me smile.

Chapter Thirteen

Art history class is by far the most boring thing I ever heard. Now don't get me wrong. I love art but my teacher didn't make it interesting at all. By the time class ended I was ready to go back to bed. I followed the other students out of the classroom into the hall.

Glancing up for a brief moment I
stopped. Leaning against the wall across from my classroom door was Eien. He stared right back at me his eyes an emotionless mask. Turning away from him I started down the hall. He fell in step with me.

"I need to talk to you," he told me in a stony voice.

"I don't really want to talk to you," I admitted. He stepped in front of me.

"It wasn't a question," he scowled.

I looked around at the crowded hallway.

"And, what are you going to do? Hurt me? In front of all these people?"

He leaned forward into my face. "You wouldn't want any harm to come to Kimmy, would you?"

"Don't you threaten her," I snarled.

"Then come with me." He placed his hand on my back and pushed me forward. Gritting my teeth I went with him. We ended up in an empty hall. He opened a door to a darkened classroom and pushed me in. Spinning to face him as he shut the door, he quickly grabbed my throat pushing me into the wall. I dug my nails into his hand.

"Your arrogant little mouth is starting to annoy me," he commented in a hard voice. Releasing me he placed his hands on either side of my head and leaned forward.

"Kiss my ass, Eien. What do you want? I'm supposed to be in Oliver's class. He isn't going to be happy if I show up late."

"Your little lap dog can wait."

"Oliver is not a lap dog. Were you ever actually apart of the gang or have you been a traitor all along?"

He leaned into me, his face a few inches from mine. I tried pressing myself further into the wall, while glaring at him.

"That's none of your business."

"Tell me what you want already, and get out of my face." I shoved him but he hardly moved.

"I just want to tell you a story," he smirked.

"A story?" I asked incredulously. "Seriously? You threaten Kimmy's life an drag me in here to tell-"

Eien clamped his hand over my mouth. I tried shoving his hand off but he wouldn't budge.

"You really are annoying," he spat. I mentally imagined stabbing him in the face.

"Six years ago, Jason and Oliver were friends. Jason was second in command under Oliver," Eien started. I stopped struggling and stared at him. He removed his hand placing it back on the wall next to me.

"One night they were partying and Jason showed up with a girl. Oliver didn't like it and ordered Jason to take her home. Jason didn't like being ordered around anymore. He told Oliver off. Oliver being the puss-"

"Don't you dare!" I snarled shoving Eien back. "Don't you dare call him that."

Eien grabbed my arms slamming me into the wall.

"Oliver killed someone," he said grabbing my wrists pinning them to the wall. I stopped struggling again.

"Do you want to know why?" Eien smirked. I didn't speak. I honestly didn't know what to say.

"Anyways," Eien continued. "Oliver let it go. Jason fucked the girl that night and Oliver found out the next day, when her older brother showed up. He thought Oliver was the one who did it and they got in a fight. And, you haven't seen Oliver fight," Eien leered. I started to tell him otherwise but he interrupted me.

"And, don't tell me about the tournament. He wasn't even trying then. No, you don't know Oliver as well as you think you do. The real Oliver is vicious. That boy never had a chance. We had to pull him off the guy’s lifeless body. But, he wasn't done. He went after Jason. He almost killed him too. It took four of us to pull him off Jason and by then he wasn't even recognizable," Eien paused watching me.

My mouth was dry and it felt like I had rocks in my stomach. Slowly I shook my head. Oliver could never do anything like that, he wouldn't.

"You better believe it," Eien laughed coldly. "Your little Oliver isn't as great and amazing as you think. If I were you I'd be careful wouldn't want to piss him off. He might kill you too," he added squeezing my wrists hard. Stepping away from me he headed for the door. I rubbed my sore wrists with a deep frown on my face.

He paused and
half turned to look back at me, "Oh and Ever. Keep that bit of information to yourself, wouldn’t want Kimmy to get hurt."

Winking he opened the classroom door and disappeared.

My trek across the courtyard was quick. Millions of thoughts, doubts, and questions passed through my head, and before I knew it I was standing outside Oliver's classroom. He had already started roll call. I wasn't that late at least.

Taking a deep breath I entered. Everyone looked up including Oliver. I mouthed 'sorry', he nodded then went back to calling roll with a smile on his face. Class passed in no time, and as everyone was filing out of the room I pretended to take
extra-long with my bag.

The last student left and he locked the door. Turning back to me he ushered me toward the back store room. The store room wasn't actually a store room it was a make shift office. Shutting the door behind me he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I missed you," he muttered kissing the side of my head.

"You seen me this morning," I laughed.

"Yeah well, I still missed you."

Turning me around he kissed me gently.

"I love you," he breathed. All my worries melted away instantly.

"I love you too," I smiled placing my forehead to his.

"So, you coming home with me or do you wanna go to your lonely apartment?" He gave a cute pouting face.

"With you of course. Don't you have gang stuff to do though?"

He shrugged, "Nah. Friday we're having another party. The tournament is Saturday but you and I will be in the city then," he smiled kissing my nose.

"You’re not going to the tournament? Aren't you supposed to, since you’re the "boss" and all?"

He shook his head. "I'm all yours this weekend."

There was a knock on the office door.

"Didn't you lock your classroom door?" I muttered. He gave a stiff nod, moving me so I was behind the door, he opened it.

"You two love birds coming or what? You are our ride home you know," Jake said. I poked my head around the door to see him and Logan standing there. Logan had a candy bar sticking out of his mouth.

"Do you ever stop eating?" I asked. Logan grinned revealing a mouth full of chocolate. I made a face.

"Alright come on you two. You can have touchy gooey moments on your vacation this weekend," Jake grinned and turned to head for the door. I looked down at the floor to hide my red face and followed as Oliver wrapped his arm around me.

"When you get a girlfriend I'm going to bust in on you every minute too," Oliver grumbled.

The rest of the week passed incredibly slow, by the time Friday came I excited about the party, but most of all anxious about Oliver and my weekend together, even almost forgetting about my encounter with Eien. I had decided he had told me all that stuff just to try and pull me and Oliver apart, but all the same I told Kimmy to be cautious.

"I wish you would tell me why," she grumbled as we got ready in Oliver's bathroom.

"Kimmy," I started turning to her taking her by her shoulders.

"Trust me, please," I begged. She sighed defeated and turned back to the mirror putting her ear rings in.

"All I'm saying is stay close to Alex and be cautious of your surroundings. Better yet don't be alone...at all," I added. She gave me a side look but didn't say anything.

"So you excited about this weekend with Oliver?" she asked changing the subject. Straightening up, she examined herself. Smoothing out her lacy black dress and running her fingers through her hair.

"I'm kind of nervous actually," I told her finishing my eyeliner and doing the same. My hair was up in a high pony tail and I had curled the ends. My dress was black to, corset fit, strapless and flared out at the bottom with my knee high boots. I was actually pleased with how I looked.

"Well here." Kimmy opened her purse she pulled out a pair of red fluffy hand cuffs. My jaw dropped.

"Kimmy!" I squeaked in utter embarrassment.

"It'll make your sex life interesting, trust me," she winked.

"S...sex life? What sex life?! I'm a virgin!" I shook my head my face heating up quickly.

She looked dumfounded. "You two haven't done it yet?"

"That is what me still being a virgin means!"

"Hmm," she began thoughtfully. "Then you'll need this too," she added pulling a tub of lubricant out of her purse. I almost fainted. Turning around, I bolted out of the bathroom.

"Ever!" she called, chasing me down stairs and into the living room.

"Everlyn Ann Fox," Kimmy scolded.

"You are horrible!" I told her mortified.

"Well this is new. Usually Ever is chasing people down," Jake mused.

"You look like a tomato. What did she do to you?" Alex laughed.

I shook my head. There was no way I was telling him. Hopefully Kimmy will let it drop. Problem is...I know Kimmy to well.

"I'm trying to help her and she won't listen," Kimmy frowned.

"I don't want to hear it! No offense but I don't want to talk about that stuff!" I told her hiding behind Oliver now who was chuckling.

She crossed her arms. "Well when it comes time for that to happen, you won't know what to do. I'm helping you," she insisted.

"The hell you are! I think when that time comes I'll figure it out with a certain someone on my own, thank you very much."

"Ever!" Kimmy appeased.

"Kimmy!" I yelled back accusingly.

"Logan!" Logan exclaimed happily. The guys laughed but Kimmy and I glared at him.

"What are you two talking about anyways?" Jet asked.

"Nothing," I replied the same time Kimmy said, "Sex."

My face went even darker than before, if that was possible.

"It's none of your business!" I exclaimed.
