"Ever, if you don't knock it off, I will spank your ass here in front of all of these people," he growled into my ear. I gaped at him in shock. Would he really? The hard look on his face told me he would.

"You’re a jerk face," I huffed. Oliver's hand slide down to my rear and he pinched. I jumped and tried to pull away. Chuckling he held me tight to his side as we approached the desk. A woman stood behind the desk. She looked up at as over her glasses, she smiled sweetly. I guessed she had to be in her twenties or so. She looked Oliver up and down.

"Welcome to the Marion Hotel, my names Bethany, how many I help you?"

"I have a room reserved for Oliver Wolfe," Oliver told him looking everywhere but at her. She was silent a moment trying to catch his eye but when he didn't look at her, her smile dropped and she began typing.

"Yes, here you are Mr. Wolfe," she said producing some key cards for the room. Oliver reached out grabbing them but the woman didn't let them go immediately, so he looked up at her.

"You room number is 303, on the third floor. If you need anything just ring the front desk," she grinned seductively.

"Thanks he's got all he needs though," I told her snatching the key cards from both there grasps. As we walked away Oliver began laughing.

"Jealous much?"

I glared at him. We crossed the room to the elevators. We slipped inside, the doors were shutting just as a hand stuck in it and they opened back up. Three young teens entered. One looked at me.

"Hey there sugar," he winked.

Smirking I looked at Oliver seeing him scowling at the kid.

"What's a beautiful thing like yourself doing hanging with this square?" The kid asked placing his hand on the wall leaning next to me. His friends behind him snickered.

"How old are you?" Oliver asked clearly annoyed.

"Just turned sixteen last tuesday," the kid winked at me his shaggy brown hair falling in his eyes he tossed his head to get it out of his face.

Oliver scoffed. "You're barely an adolesent."

"No one asked for your input old man," the kid told him then leaned toward me.

"So baby you want to hang out with us by the pool?" he looked me over again. "You ain't got to wear anything if you don't want to."

"Isn't your mommy looking for you?" Oliver asked the boy like he was a three year old.

I stiffled a laugh, before Oliver could get into a fight with the kid the doors opened up.

"Last chance babe," the kid told me moving to the door.

"Maybe I'll see you down at the pool later," I told him and winked. The kid looked slightly shocked and stepped back out into the hall. I blew him a kiss as the doors shut.

Oliver stepped in front of me, I looked up at him through my eye lashes and batted them.

"Jealous much?" I asked sweetly.

The doors opened behind him. Side stepping him I entered the third floor hallway and looked at the door numbers. Turning left down the hall I knew Oliver was behind me but I didn't turn to look not wanting him to see the smirk on my face.

Finding our door I opened it and stepped inside. I dropped my suitcase instantly and looked around. The walls were maroon with grey panneling, black swirls in each square. The bedding had silky white sheets with the same swirling designs on them, and a black conforter.

I started to step toward it, but Oliver lifted me from behind suddenly taking me and dropping me on the bed pinning me down. I forgot how to breath as he pressed his hips into mine. A warmth spread from my legs up into my chest.

"You have been a pain in the ass the whole way up here," he growled in my ear, his hot breath on my neck. His lips grazed my ear and he began kissing down to my collar bone and shoulder. His lips pressed into a certain spot and a shutter ran through me. He froze I could feel him smile against mine skin. Without warning he nibbled on the same spot and my back ached involentary, and I moaned softly.

"Oliver," I breathed, not understanding the sudden feelings swirling inside me. He pulled his face back and captured my mouth with his. Releasing my wrists he pulled me with him back off the bed. I wrapped my legs around his waist. He turned sitting on the bed with me in his lap. Placing his forehead to mine our nose touching.

"It'd be best if we saved the rest of this for tonight," he chuckled as I tried to kiss him again. I stopped trying to kiss his sweet soft lips and leaned back to look at him.

I opened my mouth but wasn't sure what to say.

"You ready to go meet my sister?" he asked changing the topic as if he knew what I was about to ask. I shut my mouth and nodded.

"Then afterwards I'm taking you to dinner. The best restaurant I know," he assured.

"So would that be a date?"

He looked thoughtful. "Yes and our first if you don't count me taking you to breakfast a few weeks ago."

"I don't," I shrugged pretending to look at my nails. "So no lying in bed and making out?"

I
looking at him with a pout I'd seen Kimmy use on Alex once. Oliver's eyes lingered on my lips; I could feel his heart accelerate under my fingertips. Taking this as a good sign I leaned in kissing him quickly locking my fingers into his hair so he couldn't pull away. He quickly dominated the kiss nibbling on my lip till I opened it and he slide his tongue in exploring every inch. We pulled apart gasping for air.

"You're evil," he breathed.

"How am I evil?" I laughed.

"Seducing me like that and you say you’re a virgin."

My face burned and I lowered my eyes to his shirt. He leaned forward kissing my forehead.

"I told Angie I'd be over there around one so we better get going cause I have stuff planned for us tonight." He sat me down on the bed and stood up running his hands through his hair.

"Other than dinner?"

He smirked his eyes glinting mischievously. "I promise. You won't forget this night."

Chapter Fifteen

The meeting with Lily didn't last long. Angie was a horrible lady. I only say that because she criticized everything Oliver said. She gave him hell about his job, his life and even me. We only really got to meet Lily for a few moments before Angie started in on Oliver and told Lily go clean her room. Though from what I seen Lily loved her brother dearly. When she first set eyes on him she squealed and attacked him almost knocking him off the couch.

"OLIBEAR!"

I laughed lightly as she clung to him for dear life. Angie frowned disapprovingly.

"Hey Lily," Oliver smiled holding her tight to his chest. "I missed you."

"I missed you too," she grinned.

"This is my best friend, Ever," he told her pointing at me.

She waved and smiled shyly. "Olibear, am I your bestest friend too?" she questioned looking up at him curiously.

"Always," he promised.

"Lily, you need to put up the rest of your toys?" Angie butted in her lips pursed.

"But, Momma-"

"1," Angie started. Lily's eyes got big; she gave Oliver a quick kiss on the cheek and ran off down the hall.

Angie turned to Oliver and I with patronizing eyes. "She does not know any other father than Tom and I intent to keep it that way."

"When she gets older she's going to ask questions. Like for instance where her best friend went," Oliver glared pursing his lips into a hard line. I took his hand and squeezed it.

"She won't remember you."

"Yes, she will," Oliver insisted.

"I can make it where you never see her, Oliver. I think it's just best if you keep your distance. She has a good life and a good home. She doesn't need to be caught up in the bad things you do."

"He doesn't do bad things," I defended. "He is the sweetest caring person there is, and she is his sister."

Angie turned her gaze to me annoyed. "This does not concern you. Why you would bring her here is just absurd."

What does she think I am? A prostitute? Really?!

Oliver stood pulling me with him. "I will be seeing Lily. I promise you that."

"Olibear?" Lily said softly from the hall doorway.

"Lily, I tho-"

Lily threw herself at Oliver's leg. "I love you."

Oliver lifted her up and hugged her. "Love you too Lily."

After that we were all but shoved out of the house.

Oliver and I were now headed...somewhere. He wouldn't tell me anything only that it was a surprise. I hated surprises...or at least the anticipation leading up to them.

We were walking down the main street area. The streets were crowded and noisy.

"Why does Lily call you, Olibear?"

Oliver grinned. "When she was younger I use to growl and tickle her and would tell her I was a hungry bear going to eat her," he laughed a sweet smile on his face.

"After that she started calling me, Olibear," he shrugged looking down at me. I smiled. I had never seen him so, I don't know, sweet.

"What's with that look?" he laughed.

"What look?"

"The one young teenage girls give Justin Bieber before they scream and rip his clothes off," he gave a cheeky grin that was very adorable but I blushed regardless.

"I was just thinking you'd make a good dad one day," I muttered looking down and kicking at an imaginary rock. I glanced up at him to see him looking away embarrassed.

“Come on,” Oliver said tugging on my hand quickly. I looked up at him fully in confusion as we turned down an alley going to a quieter street.

Apartment buildings loomed over us. He stopped looking up at one in particular. It was made of brick and crumbling. A large sign saying condemned hung over the front doors. I stared at it a moment. Where had I seen this building before?

“I take it by the look on your face you remember the building from the picture?” Oliver muttered. That’s when it clicked. This was the building that had been in the background behind Oliver and his dad in the picture back at the warehouse.

“So you lived here?” I asked.

“Yeah, it was a piece of crap then too. Glad they finally shut the place down.”

Oliver scratched his chin. “Wanna go inside?” he asked.

“What?” I asked him shocked. “Did you not just say it’s a piece of crap? It looks like a death trap to me.”

“Yeah, you’re probably right. I got somewhere else to take you that’s better anyways I just wanted to see if this place was still here.”

Oliver grabbed my hand and we headed farther down the street.

“I grew up not far from here,” I told him kicking a can that was on the sidewalk.

“Really?” he asked looking back at me.

“Yeah, right around the corner actually,” I laughed. “It’s crazy how we lived so close and never seemed to have met before.”
