Chase knew I had been waiting for this day to come so I could finally start planning our

His eyes widened, but he remained silent. My heart sank deeper into uncertainty with every torturous moment I waited for his response.

“Chase? Say something?”

“Thank you for what? For being fertile?” I teased him.
