“Fuck off,” I demand as Jase continues sliding his hand under the duvet to get my feet again.

“I will kick you, hard, if you don’t leave my fucking feet alone.” I threaten. He finally releases my feet, but straddles my hips.

“What the hell are you doing?” I ask him. I don't like being woken up, and I hate people tickling my feet.

“Remember yesterday? at work?” he asks me, “Well this is my payback.” he says as his fingers dig into my hips. I try bucking him off, but he’s too heavy. I would rather he tickled my ribs over my feet, I can just about tolerate this.

He is laughing at me, but I don’t find it funny.

“What time is it?” I ask breathlessly, my lungs struggling for air with all my sudden movement.

“6am.” he responds like it’s a social hour of the day.

“Are you serious? You have woken me up at 6am on a Saturday?” I ask astonished.

“Only for payback baby, say sorry and I’ll let you sleep.” he is looking into my eyes deeply, he isn't going to let this go.

“Sorry? What the hell for? I said it yesterday.” I puff at him.

“I want an honest one.” he says continuing his torture.

“Okay damn it, I am sorry, okay?” I throw at him.

“Damn you're adorable when you're tired.” he says leaning to give me a quick gentle kiss.

“I am going to shower Rhi, I will wake you in a few hours if you like. I have some work to do anyway.” he says pulling the duvet back over me, and carefully tucks me in tight.

“Cheers.” I say as I lose the battle with my eyes.

The next time I’m awoken, I feel more rested, and I’m not woken up by tickling.

“Morning grumpy,” Jase greats me from beside me on the bed. He is sat under the duvet with a laptop on his knees.

“What time is it?” I ask stretching. He glances behind me and reads the digital clock,

“It is 11:48,” he replies.

“Shit, I know I wanted to sleep, but I never sleep this late.” I say feeling guilty.

“Don’t worry about it. Its calming having you here, I got through quite a bit of work sat beside you.” he says as he puts his laptop down.

“What time did you get up?” I ask him as he bends to give me a gentle kiss.

“I have been up since 6.”

“How are you still functioning? It was gone three-thirty when I went to sleep, so that’s roughly two hours’ sleep.” I grumble at him.

“I don’t require much sleep.” I can tell that much is true. He's looking all fresh, and bright eyed, and I most likely look a mess, with bags under my eyes.

“And you have been awake six hours before me?” I ask stunned. I would never be able to stay quiet while someone sleeps for six hours.

“Yeah and?” he asks like I have some objection. No objection from me, he let me sleep. He can wake up whatever time he likes, providing I don't get woken up ridiculously early.

“Nothing,” I say as I start to get out the bed. “Am I okay to use your shower?” I ask him.

“Of course you can, it’s through there.” he says pointing to the en-suite bathroom.

“Thank you.” I mutter as I climb out of bed.

Walking in to his bathroom, as naked now as I was the day I was born, I set his shower up. Once the water gets warm, I step inside and let the water wash over me.

Once I am done showering, I climb out the shower, and look for a towel. I can’t find one anywhere.

I walk over to the door, dripping water everywhere.

“Jase, where are your towels?” I ask as I stick my head out the door. He is still laid on the bed with his laptop.

“Of course, hang on, I’ll get you one.” he says as he puts his laptop down.

He pulls the duvet back, and he steps off the bed in just his boxer briefs. He walks over to another door, disappears from view for a few moments before he strolls back out with a handful of towels.

“I didn’t know which ones you would need, so I got you on of every size.” he says handing me a neatly folded pile of towels, looking a little embarrassed.

“Thank you,” I say as I grab them from him. He smiles at me as I close the bathroom door again.

I place the towels on the marble counter and laugh to myself as I poke through the pile. I pick up two towels and decide they will do.

I quickly wrap myself in the biggest towel, leaving the rest on the unit, and walk out of the bathroom.

Jase is not in the room when I enter. I take this moment to find my clothes and to get dressed. I am going commando, as I refuse to put my panties on from yesterday, even if it is just to go home. I don't feel comfy raiding Jases drawers to see what he has that will fit me, so I will just have to suck it up and go commando.

Just as I’m fastening my bra, Jase walks in from what I presume is the closet. He is wearing a pair of chinos and a light blue, short sleeved shirt, no socks. He watches me as I put my dress on over my head. I blush, knowing that he now knows I don't have any panties on.

Just as I am straightening my dress out, Jase walks up behind me and wraps his hands around me. He starts kissing his way up my neck, till he reaches down to softly kiss my lips. While his lips are sealed on mine, he circles me, so he is in front of me, his hands still on my hips.

“Would you like something to eat?” he asks as he pulls away.

“Sure,” I say smiling at him. I am mesmerized by his eyes. The light reflecting of the brown makes them brighter and more beautiful, they look a golden color in this light.

He removes his hands from my hips, and grabs my hand.

He leads me back to the kitchen. Pulling out a bar stool, he points to it indicating he would like me to sit.

As gracefully as I can, given my lack off underwear, I sit on the stool, and watch him move around his kitchen.

H goes about making breakfast effortlessly.

He pauses his cooking to hand me a coffee.

“A mocha” he says placing it on the breakfast bar.

“Thank you.” I say as my hands instantly reach out to grab it. I take a sip and place it back on the breakfast bar, trying to breath in cool air to sooth my scolding mouth.

“So, do you know what you're going to wear to this première?” Jase asks grabbing my attention.

“Première?” I ask a little confused.

“Yes, the première of my new movie. You said you would accompany me last night.” he says in explanation.

“I did?” I ask confused. That must have happened as I dozing off to sleep. I don't remember that conversation.

“You did. It’s an elegant affair. Ball gown style.” he explains.

“I don’t have anything to wear.” I say panicked. “When is it?”

“Two weeks today. I’m sure we can find something.” he smiles as he kisses me again, like he has a done deal.

“I don’t know Jase.” I say uncertainty kicking in.

“You don’t have to decide now, but it would be fantastic to have you there with me. It will also be great publicity for the movie we are doing now.” he says as he places plates of food on the breakfast bar for the pair of us.

“Thank you.” I say as I take a bite of my food. He has cooked omelet and bacon. He is a good cook because this food is beautiful.

Once food is out the way, Jase gets a phone call. He goes in to a different room to take it. I use this time to check my phone. I finished my breakfast in moderate silence. The première is running around my head. I don't really want to go, but I will go to support Jase.

**Rhi, its gone dinner, and I haven’t heard from you. I am on my way to yours. I will see you soon G XoX**

It’s from Grace, I have to text her back if she’s on her way to my apartment. I have to get back to meet her. She is going to grill me bout Jase.

**Grace, I’m not home. I’m still with Jase. I suspect I shouldn’t be out much longer. Wait at mine for me, and I’ll see you soon. Rhi XoX**

Just as I press send, Jase walks back with a confused look plastered all over his face.

“Everything okay?” I ask.

“Yeah, that was Kaleb, he needs to see me.” he answers looking at his phone.

“Kaleb?” I ask.

“Mr. Braxton.” he clarifies.

“Oh, okay.” I reply, I don’t know what else to say.

“Yes, I’ve never had a call from him before. I wonder what he wants.” he muses aloud.

“I'm sure you will be okay.” I try reassuring him. I don't really know Mr. Braxton all that much, but he seems like a nice guy, who is kind of cute, but I will keep that thought to myself.

*****

We are sat in the car, and Jase is driving me home. He is on his way to work to meet with Mr. Braxton.

He pulls up in front of my apartment once I gave him directions. He doesn't follow orders very well. He thought he knew a few short cuts, and got us lost once or twice. He wanted to avoid the traffic build up, but he only ended up back in the pile of cars when he got us lost and had to back track.

“I will ring you once I’m finished with Kaleb if you like.” he offers.

“I wouldn’t say no.” I say smiling at him. He reaches over the console of the car and gives me a long lingering kiss. I know it’s none of my business, but I am curious to see why he has been called in by the boss on his day off.

“Thank you for last night. It was amazing.” he says grabbing my hand.

I grab my bag of the floor by my feet, as he places a kiss on my knuckles. I quickly kiss his cheek before I climb out of his car.

As I stand onto the side walk, he pulls out into the traffic and out of sight.

*****

As I walk in to my apartment Grace is waiting for me again.

“You ditched me last night.” she says with her arms crossed, and her foot tapping on the floor. I can’t remember the last time I got a pleasant greeting from her.

“I know. It wasn’t intentionally.” I say as I walk towards her.

“Was it good?” she asks.

“Was what good?”

“The sex Rhiannon, don’t play dumb.” she looks at me with a stern glare.

“Oh Grace, he is good in the sack.” I say with a big grin.

“Well come on, you bailed on me, I want to know how good.” she says pulling me to the sofa.

I give in, and give Grace all the gory details of last night.

*****

Grace has gone, and I finally get to check my phone to see if Jase has text me.

Sure enough there is a message from him.

**Rhiannon, I have been to see Kaleb. Apparently he doesn’t like the fact we went off script yesterday. I suspect he would want to speak to you too. Sorry. Jase**

Great, just what I need, my boss to be pissed at me before I even finish one job. He doesn't seem like the one to get that angry, so I can cope with a little telling off, as long as my job is safe.

**Okay, I hope he wasn’t too hard on you. I'll talk to Kaleb and let him know it was me. Rhi.**

**No you won’t, it wasn’t you, I was only doing something I want to do, and I won’t let you take the blame for that. I'll handle Kaleb. P.S, I can’t wait to do it again. ;-) Jase.**

**I might just let you, providing you promise not to tickle me again. Rhi**

**I can’t make promises like that. Specially while you're sleeping peacefully. Jase**

**You're just damn right cruel. I am going to sleep now. I was up late, and rudely awoken at 6am on my day off, then I’ve had to deal with Grace all night. Rhi**

**Up late in a good way though, and I let you fall back to sleep for 6 hours, so you can’t complain. I hope Grace wasn’t too eager for information. Sleep tight. Jase**

*****

Monday morning comes before I realize it. I am late for work and I have a feeling Mr. Braxton will want to talk to me today. The misdemeanors are just stacking against me today.

At nine-thirty, thirty minutes after I was supposed to start, I get a phone call. As I’m driving, I use the blue tooth ear piece to accept the call. I don’t know who’s calling as I can’t see the caller ID.

“Hello,” I answer.

“Rhiannon, where are you?” Jase asks. I’m glad its him and not Mr. Braxton.

“I'm running late. I’m on my way.”

“You might want to hurry up, Kaleb has noticed you're late, and he seems to be in a foul mood today.” Jase warns me. Okay – maybe I won’t get off with being late.

“Great. I won’t be long now.”

“Okay, I’ll let you go.” he says as he hangs up.

What a great start to my week. My boiler broke and flooded my house, hence why I am running late, my boss wants to talk to me, and did I say I’m running late?

Five minutes later I arrive at the big gates. I pull up to the valet, hand him my keys and run in to the building.

Jase is stood there waiting for me.

“Where is Mr. Braxton?” I whisper as he folds me in his arms.

“In his office spitting feathers. He is truly pissed right now, so me and you are going for a coffee.” he says dragging me towards the cafeteria.

“No, I have to go see him.” I say pulling away from him.

“At the minute Sammie is feeling his bad mood, so you have time for a coffee.” he says not letting me go.

I give in, if Mr. Braxton is busy then why not have a coffee.

Jase orders coffee and meets me at a table.

“Relaxing room.” he simply says as he walks past me carrying our coffees.

Taking a deep breath, I follow him. Once I get there I take a spot on the sofa, and he takes the spot next to me. Grabbing my shoulders, he pulls me down to cuddle in to him. I willingly go. He rubs his hand up and down my arm soothingly, helping me relax. He can tell I'm tense, and worried about Kaleb.

“Don’t worry about Kaleb, he has days like this.” Jase says as he kisses the top of my head.

“I didn’t want to piss the boss off; I can’t risk losing this job.” I say fearing I am going to be sacked.

“You won’t. Just take whatever he says with a pinch of salt. He is pretty harmless.”

We sit in silence as we drink our hot drinks.

Suddenly the door swings open, and slams against the back wall. Stood in the door way is Mr Braxton, and he looks pissed off, really pissed off. I take a big gulp, bracing myself for his bad mood.

I jump up of the sofa, as does Jase who stands behind me with his hands on my shoulders.
