I'm fully aware Kaleb has followed me; I just hope he leaves me alone.

Yeah - who am I fooling, like that was ever going to happen.

"Rhiannon, wait please." he doesn't ask, he makes it sound like an order. Just because he added please on the end, doesn’t mean I’m going to obey.

"Kaleb you're like a leech, leave me alone." I say opening the limo door.

"I need to know if you're coming to work on Monday?" he asks.

"It depends." I say leaving him wondering.

"On what?"

"How bad my hangover is." I reply seriously.

"You didn't drink enough to get drunk, I stopped you." he says smugly.

"Oh I know." I say, my voice laced with sarcasm, "That’s why I'm going to get drunk at a different club." I say proud as punch.

"Don't do this." he begs.

"You can't stop me. You have a function here to attend to."

"I don't give a shit about a function if it prevents you doing something stupid." he says as he pushes past me and parks his ass in the limo.

"Kaleb get out." I say getting really annoyed. He has pushed so many buttons tonight, and I'm going to explode if he doesn't leave me alone.

"If you're going to the bar, I'm going to the bar." he says.

"So you can stop me drinking? Not happening Kaleb. Get out." I snarl at him again.

"Rhiannon, I'm not letting you go to the bar on your own, so you have three choices here." he says holding up three fingers.

"One - I come to the bar, two - you go back in there and stop the drinking while you're here, or three - go home and calm down." he says calmly.

He can't dictate to me what I can or can't do.

"Get out please." I say trying to control my temper.

"One, two or three?" he asks.

He is really winding me up, but then an idea comes to me.

"Three okay, I'll go fucking home, now fuck off." I say looking in to his green eyes to see his reaction.

"Thank you." he says as he starts to get out the limo.

"Please think about what I've said tonight Rhiannon." he says as I push past him to get in the limo.

"Bye Kaleb." I say shutting the door. The limo driver asks for my location and I give him it. He pulls away from the restaurant and I look out the window to see Kaleb walking away from where we were parked.

I finally sit back, and start to calm down.

My life has turned in to a mess in a few hours, all because of Kaleb, although Jase hasn’t helped.

*****

The limo takes me to my destination. The driver not questioning my motif.

I step out and walk in the building, but not before I am asked for identification from the security on the door.

I show my identification and continue walking through the doors.

I look around and the place is crowded.

Music is pounding and lights are flashing. People are chatting with each other, and they are giggling or arguing. I need Grace to come join me. I’ll calm down and text her to join me. She will help me forget tonight.

I walk over to the bar and order a drink. I down it, and place another order.

I then proceed to walk over to the dance floor with my second drink in my hand.

I need to unwind so I start dancing along to the beat. My body slowly, but stiffly moving to the fast beat.

After two songs, my glass is empty, so I make my way back to the bar.

Armed with another drink I head back to the dance floor once again. I’m finding it refreshing just being here, left to my own devices, and letting my body relax. My body is finally moving freely, and I don’t look like a twat.

At this point the drinks are starting to affect me. I’m feeling very tipsy, but I’m unwinding after a stressful day.

I am dancing like an idiot on the dance floor, when a pair of hands land on my hips.

For fuck sake. Can't people leave me alone.

I turn to ask him to leave me alone when he grinds his hips against my back, and I can feel what I presume is his erection rubbing against me.

Who does that? Its degrading.

I turn around, getting ready to tell him to fuck off.

As I turn the old bold man speaks, "See what you do to me honey." he says with a horrible smile. A few teeth missing, and a scar down his neck. He looks like pure filth, not someone I would ever interact with.

"Get your filthy hands off me." I say loud enough for him to hear me. He just smiles at me, like he’s having fun, while I just want to vomit.

"Come on honey. Come for a quick one. No commitments." he says seriously.

I suddenly have the urge to puke, and I have to keep my temper down, but now I regret coming here.

I want to go home now. Why can’t people just leave me the hell alone. I have had enough with males today, and if he thinks I am going anywhere with him, he is even more deluded than I first thought.

"Leave me alone." I say pushing him away.

"Just one night." he begs pulling me towards the door. My attempts at pulling away fail, he is too overpowering.

Shit, shit, shit. I think I'm going to be sick.

I have told him no, and he won't back down. He is going to take what he wants, if I allow him to or not.

“Let me go.” I beg him.

“Lenny said hi.” he says to me with a smug grin.

“What?” I whisper as I feel my face pale.

“Your nice friend told me to send his regards.”

“He isn’t no friend of mine. How did you find me?” I ask as I struggle to catch my breathing.

“You make it too easy. Now Len has a debt he needs to pay up, and he told me to collect from you. I was satisfied with money, till I laid eyes on you, now I want more.”

“Let me go.” I cry.

“You made my hunt too easily. I followed you here. Fancy a young pretty girl coming to a bar on her own, stupid mistake.” he laughs at me as he drags me closer to the door.

I fly my eyes around the bar hoping someone will come and help me, but no one is paying attention to us.

Suddenly the lights start flashing brighter, and the music starts echoing. I am petrified, and my life flashes before my eyes. How has Len found me? And why is he sending someone after me. My life is in danger now, and I can’t breathe.

Please someone notice what’s going on, I silently beg to myself.

Then everything goes black.

When I open my eyes, I'm still at the bar, but I'm surrounded by people. They are all stood above me, staring at me.

"Move." I hear a voice shout.

Pushing through the crowd comes Kaleb. His blonde hair a mess, and his green eyes looking angry, and scared.

I am so glad he is here, despite the fact I'm pissed at him. That evaporates, because I know he will keep me safe.

"I said move." he says pushing people away.

The old man is still stood hovering over me. He has a nasty look in his eyes, but I don’t know him, but apparently Len does.

I shudder at the name of that horrible man.

"I said move idiot, she needs space." he says trying to get the old man to move.

"That’s my girl down there." says the old man.

"I don't think so." Kaleb says giving the old man a disgusted look.

“What the fuck do you know, she has just had to much to drink. I'm taking her home.” he comes to lower his dirty body beside mine, but Kaleb pulls him away.

“I said move you stupid old bastard.” Kaleb says pushing him back.

The old man is about to protest when Kaleb kneels beside me.

"Rhiannon what happened?" he asks concerned.

"That.......man." is all I manage to get past the lump in my throat.

"Rhiannon what did he do?" he asks emigrating rage.

"He tried to drag me out for sex. Someone owes him money, and he came to me for it, only he doesn’t want money now." I say as the tears fall.

"He what!" Kaleb snarls as he goes to stand.

"Kaleb please." I beg him grabbing his hands, halting his movements. I don’t want him near that man.

He looks at me with sympathy in his eyes.

"You told me you were going home." he says annoyed at me.

"I'm sorry." I say past my tears.

"Come on." he says as he lifts me in to his arms. I wrap my arms around his neck, and cover my face in his shoulder.

"What are you doing?" asks the old man.

Kaleb looks at him and speaks, "You watch your back. The police might want to talk to you, you filthy bastard." he says, and I suspect if I wasn't in his arms, he would be on his ass.

Kaleb looks back at me, pulls me closers, and walks out the bar. The crowd watching on in shock. I suspect they thought I was pissed, and passed out from too much alcohol. That may be a little true, the alcohol didn’t help the situation, but that nasty creature is to blame. I would of made it out in one piece if it wasn’t for him.

The door security tries to stop us leaving.

"Excuse me sir, we have paramedics on the way." he says stopping us.

"We don't need them, you need to open your fucking eyes, and do your job. She was almost sexually assaulted in your pub." he says in pure rage.

"I can't advise you to walk out of here."

"Are you saying I can't leave?" Kaleb asks, furious with him too.

"No sir, I'm just advising against it." he says a little intimidated.

"Then we're leaving." he says walking past the door man.

We hear the doorman protest some more, but Kaleb continues his journey.

We walk across the road past the traffic. I lift my face out of his neck, and look at where we are. We are on the other side of the street to the bar. I look down the street, and see a group of boys, obviously pissed, just shouting and laughing. Out of direct sight of people, there is a middle aged people making out. Her dress is around her waist, and I don’t even want to know where his fingers are. They are practically eating each other’s face. They seriously need to get a room before they are caught and fined for indecent exposure.

Kaleb climbs in another limo, puts me in my own seat, and buckles me in before buckling himself in.

When the limo pulls out, he pulls me closer to him wrapping his arms around me.

The tears continue falling.

"Shush, you're safe." he says comforting.

“Do you know him?” he asks.

“No.” I reply honestly, but I know who sent him.

“Whose debt was he collecting?” he asks.

“I don’t know.” I lie, I can’t tell him the truth. That part of my life is done, or it was.

“This is why you should have listened to me.” he says with clear irritation. “They see a vulnerable young lady, and dive straight in. what if I hadn’t turned up?”

“I don’t know Kaleb, please don’t.” I say. The thought of the alternative outcome is just too hard to think about.

"I need to know why you lied Rhiannon." he says quietly.

"I'm sorry." I sob.

"I know, but why did you lie?" he asks again, his voice getting softer.

"It's the only way you would leave me alone." I sob some more.

"You looked into my eyes and lied to me." he says hurt.

"I know, but you pissed me off."

"Rhiannon, I was trying to protect you from doing something stupid." he says lifting my chin so I'm looking into his eyes.

"I know; I was stupid." I say feeling utterly stupid.

"Yes you were. Rhiannon I care about you; I didn't want you to be put in danger. You were drinking far too much too fast. It could only end in disaster."

"I said I was sorry." I say feeling extremely stupid. His hands still on my chin he leans closer.

"I hate seeing you like this. You're so strong and argumentative. This is why, why I didn’t want you drinking any more. People pry on innocent people, who are in a club alone. You're strong, and dependent, but against a man, you’re defenseless." he explains with such sadness.

The tears fall some more.

He looks in to my eyes, and before I can do anything, his lips are on mine.

His lips are soft and warm, and in a moment I am responding.

I allow his tongue access to my mouth, and he takes it.

He runs his tongue along my mouth as he moans. I'm responding with as much attention.

He unbuckles his seat belt, and is soon pushing me down on the back seats. His body is looming over mine, and I'm suddenly back at the bar.

"Stop." I beg him. He is up in a moment, no hesitation at all.

He sees the panic on my face, "I am so sorry." he says. "I didn't mean to do that."

"I'm sorry." I say as my tears fall again.

"No, that was my fault." he says as he pulls me to him again. I'm hesitant to be touching him, but he doesn't let go. He just holds me close to him.

"How did you know where I had gone?" I ask when the tears stop.

"The limo driver came back and told me you demanded he took you to a bar, so I got in my car and came for you." he says making soothing notions with his hands, up and down my arms, trying to keep me calm.

"How long were you at the bar for?" I ask needing to know how long he was watching me.

"I came in and saw you fall to the floor. I ran straight over to you. If I was there earlier, you would of been dragged out by me."

“Why couldn’t you just of left me alone?”
