When Grace walks back in she sees me typing away on my phone.

“Sending someone an essay?” she asks.

“Yeah, Kaleb has sent me five messages and called three times. Jase went back to work kicking off. He was just checking if I was okay.” I say distracted.

“Aw, look he really cares about you.” she says sounding like a teenager.

“Grace, seriously?” I ask as I laugh.

“No, but it made you laugh again.” she says as she throws a pillow at me. I catch it as I laugh again, but then my phone vibrates in my hand.

**About time. I was getting worried about you. You know I care about you Rhiannon. Any need to be so bitchy about it? I wanted to make sure he didn’t lash out at you like he did me. If I could have done this without hurting you or Jase I would of done. I hate that you're blaming me. I only ever want to protect you and make you happy.**

His reply makes me feel guilty for lashing out at him.

**I'm sorry. I was out of order then. I’m spending the night with Grace though, so you don’t need to come round. We will talk, just not yet. I'm fine.**

**That’s all I needed to know. Have fun with Grace. I will ring you tomorrow**

“Hello?” Grace asks.

“Sorry,” I respond putting my phone away.

“Kaleb more interesting than me?” she asks pretending to be hurt.

“No, but I also didn’t want him coming round, so I had to respond to him. I’m putting my phone down now.” I say smiling, as I place my phone on the table and slowly move away like it will burn me, which has Grace laughing.

“You're such a geek.” she laughs at me.

“I know, but you love me for it.” I say still laughing at her.

We go back to enjoying our night, man free.

I wake the following morning to Grace snoring – again.

“Grace, wake up.” I mumble as I push her over.

“Fuck sake, you always wake me up.” she groans at me.

“Stop moaning. I have to go to work soon.” I inform her. After I get no reply I look over at her and noticed she has gone back to sleep.

“Grace, did you hear me?”

“No what.” she moans,

“I have to go to work okay. You going to be okay?” I ask her, hoping she’s still awake.

“Yeah, hurry up and go, so I can sleep.” she says burying her head in the pillow.

“Well thank you.” I laugh as I get ready for work.

“I'm joking; you know I love you.” she says as she rolls on to my side of the bed.

I shake my head at her as I walk out the door, she is so grumpy on a morning, it’s funny. She always moans I wake her up, but she always over takes my bed. She never goes home after a girly night, but then moans when I wake her up. It’s a good job I love her.

*****

When I turn up at work, I don’t know what to expect. Kaleb wants to talk, he has asked me to meet him for dinner today, and Jase hates me.

After giving my car to the valet, I walk in to the big house.

The entrance is empty, not a person in sight. I quickly take this opportunity to escape to my room unnoticed.

I have to read my script, I took it home, but was too busy with Grace to read through it. So a few hours reading today before I go pay Cassie a visit is on the agenda.

After an hour of reading, I get a knock on my door. I am hesitant to answer it. I don’t know if I’m ready to face Kaleb or Jase yet.

I remember being told when I started here, I have to answer in case its important.

I put my script down, and go to answer the door.

I answer the door and see Toby stood there.

"Toby?" I ask shocked to see him.

"What are you doing here?" I ask confused at his appearance.

"I haven't seen you in time, so I thought I would come see how you are." he explains.

Confused by his words, "I'm fine. Why?"

"Just some rumors going around." he says as he walks into my dressing room.

"What rumors?" I ask already having an inkling as to what it is.

"Well, someone has said you're sleeping with Kaleb."

"Let me guess - Jase?" I ask him.

"Well Jase said it first yes, but quite a few have said it."

"Just great." I sullenly reply.

"Is it true?" Toby asks.

"No." I reply defensively.

"I thought you was seeing Jase; so why would he say these things?" Toby asks innocently.

"We broke up." I say simply.

"But there is more to this isn't there?" he asks, with his ability of being able to read people.

I nod my head yes.

"Something did happen, but I haven't slept with Kaleb."

"Again, there is still more isn't they?"

How the hell does he do that?

"Yeah. Kaleb is partly to blame, but I can't put all the blame on him. He told me he wanted me, and something happened at the weekend, and I saw a different side to Kaleb. It did make me fall for him. Toby I don't know what to do." I say as I slump to the sofa.

"What are your options?" he asks like it's simple to choose.

"I don't know; the whole thing is fucked up."

"Do you want Jase back?" he asks shocking me.

"Toby, I like Jase, and I know I just hurt him, but I can't have him. I can't ignore my feelings for Kaleb and string Jase along, and Jase slept with someone else on Saturday."

"Then there is your answer." he smiles at me. "You see what happens with you and Kaleb."

"I can't. I can't just jump in with Kaleb."

"No one is saying jump in, take small strides."

"He's my boss Toby, what if everything goes wrong? I can't lose my job."

"Rhiannon, I have never seen Kaleb go after anyone. This must be strange for him too. Take that small stride into the unknown. It might be the best small stride of your life." he says smiling at me.

"I just need time."

"Take time for you first then. Also Cassie is ready for you." he says as he rises back to his feet.

*****

After my few hours with Cassie, I am worn out, and ready for some sleep.

Just as I'm locking my door, Kaleb comes walking down the corridor towards me, in his signature jacket and jeans.

"Rhiannon, you got time to pop to my office please?" he asks with authority.

"Yeah sure." I say confused. This isn't his 'I want you voice' that was his 'I'm your boss, you'll do as you're told voice'.

I timidly follow him to his office. Last time I was here; all hell broke loose. I’m not ready for that to be repeated any time soon.

Once we reach his office, he opens his door, then steps aside letting me past.

He directs me to the sofa and I follow directions and take a seat.

"Kaleb what do you want?" I ask as he silently makes his way to his desk.

"I think we need to talk Rhiannon, don't you?"

"And you have to do this at work?"

" You ignore all my attempts at contacting you."

"I did not! I replied to you last night." I say defensively.

"After I threatened to come round, and what about this morning? I asked you to come see me at dinner."

"I was busy last night Kaleb, just like I've been busy today. I've not had time to look at my phone. I've been with Cassie most of the day, look through your fucking security footage Kaleb. I can't keep doing this. I can't be available as and when you need me to." I almost shout at him.

I angrily get to my feet ready to leave his office.

"Rhiannon," he calls as I take a step away from him. I ignore him and continue my journey towards his door.

He jumps from his desk and runs to block the door.

"Kaleb, please." I beg him, "just move."

He just keeps his eyes on me, his green eyes glowing with mischief. "Kaleb?" I ask nicely for the last time.

"Just bloody move." I demand once he doesn’t move.

"No. Sit back down, we're not done here."

"I think we are." I snap.

"Oh no, not by a long shot. Sit the fuck down." he demands.

I look at him shocked.

"You can't order me about." I decide to push him.

"I'm your boss, while I own your ass I can do what I want. Sit." he says smugly.

I cross my arms over my chest, proving a point.

He might own my ass so to speak, but I will not ask how high when he says jump.

"Will you just sit down for fuck sake". he says getting annoyed with me.

"Will you just let me out?" I respond with a cute smart ass smile.

I go to grab the door handle with both hands as I attempt to push him out the way.

He is getting angry; I can tell by the shade of his eyes. They have turned darker, and he is pulling at his blonde locks.

He suddenly grabs both my hands in a vice grip in one of his hands.

I pull and no matter how much I try; my hands are not coming free.

He isn't even making any effort to keep hold of my hands. He pushes himself off the door, as he continues to hold my hands.

He slowly walks forward, which takes me backwards. Still struggling to get out of his grip, he has me now pinned against a wall.

I am still struggling against him, but he just looks amused now.

His eyes are looking deep into my eyes, as I stare into his. My attempts to escape slow some, and his hand relaxes against mine, although he doesn't let me go. His other hand comes beside my head as he leans in closer to me.

I can feel the electricity between us, as much as I don't want to right now.

I take a deep breath trying to calm my running nerves.

Kaleb continues to look deep into my eyes.

"I'm sorry." he quickly says right before he smashes his lips to mine.

His warm moist lips coat mine, as he molds my mouth to his. I resist his kiss at first, but as I start to relax against him I respond.

I grant him access to my mouth, opening it and his tongue takes full advantage. As my tongue strokes against his, he releases my hands, and places both of his hands on my thighs lifting me of the floor.

My legs automatically cling to his waist to ensure I don't fall. My hands go to his hair as I grab chunks to pull him closer. He lets a deep moan out which vibrates off my lips.

When he pulls away slightly I'm heaving for a breath. He places his forehead against mine as we both calm our breathing.

"Rhiannon, I can't let you go." he whispers.

"Kaleb, I don't know." I stutter.

"I know you feel it too. Just give us a try." he pleads with me.

“Kaleb, it’s not as simple as that!” I say as my eyes dart to the floor.

“What is stopping us?” he asks, his voice a few pitches too high.

"Okay." I respond quietly. What do I have to lose?

"Yeah?" he asks with a stupid big grin.

"Yeah, I'll try." suddenly his lips smash to mine once again, but he pulls away before I can respond.

He gives me a dazzling big smile; his smile alone could light up the city after dark.

Just as he leans down to give me a kiss again, there is a knock on his door. It was unexpected and it makes me jump.

"It's okay, they won't come in." he responds an inch away from my lips before he captures them again.

Just as his tongue glides into my mouth, his door opens.

"Kaleb?" the voice asks. It's a female video, Sammie I'm guessing.

He pulls back slightly as I hide my face in his neck feeling my cheeks turn red.

"I'm... Sorry." she stutters.

"Fuck off." Kaleb snarls.

"Toby is here to see you." she says still stood there.

"I said fuck off. Tell Toby to wait." he says turning his glare to her.

She quickly escapes out of his office.

"I thought they wouldn't come in." I mumble into his neck. I feel so embarrassed.

"They usually don't, I shall have to talk to them again." he says as he rubs my hair, soothingly.

"How am I supposed to walk out of here now?"

He just laughs at me.

I raise my head to look at him.

"Kaleb, this isn't funny."

"It is. You're worried about walking out of here, don't worry about it."

"How can I not? Look at me." I say my legs still wrapped around his waist.

"Rhiannon, when the new movie goes out, you're going to be in more compromising positions then this, and the whole world will see it."

"But that's acting."

"Look okay, I would rather that didn't happen either, but it did. Now the gossip is going to start, but it saves us having to tell everyone. Don't worry about it" he says as I rest my head back on his shoulder.

"What are we going to say to Jase?"

"Fuck sake Rhi, I'm stood with you in my arms, wanting to rip your clothes off and you bring up Jase."

I giggle at his reply.

"Sorry." I try getting out past my giggle.

He lets out a little laugh.

"Gosh, I'm glad I finally have you." he says as he peels us both away from the wall.

He places his hands on my ass, as he takes us to his office chair. He sits down and places me on his knee so I'm straddling him.

"Where were you going when I came for you?" he asks as he plays with a strand of my hair.

"I was going home."

"Okay, let me make a call and we will get off." he says.
