When I return, Jude is stretched out on the bed, still naked, with his hands behind his head.
Wow
doesn't even begin to describe him.

"Seeing you wearing nothing but the glasses is really hot," he tells me with a grin. "Why have you been hiding all this sexiness, Sadie? I had no idea you were so damn beautiful."

I shake my head when I climb on the bed, and go straight for his semi-hard cock. I want to return the favor and distract him from my dorkiness. I'm like Cinderella, and now that it's past midnight I'm turning back into the awkward, unattractive, geeky tomboy.

"Damn, Sadie," he groans when my lips seal around his length. I drag my tongue over his smooth, hardening flesh, moaning at the incredible feeling of him. "Mmm, God, yes."

I look up at his face while I work to take him deeper. Jude's head is thrown back, his jaw clenched tight. Eventually he cracks one dark eye open and grins down at me. "You're killing me, baby. Let me...
oh God
...let me fuck you again."

I nod my agreement and he moves lightning fast. Somehow he goes from stretched out on his back to standing beside the bed in a matter of seconds.

Jude grips my hips tightly with both of his hands, pulling me to the edge of the mattress to sink in deep from behind.

"Got to fuck you...can't get enough," he says as he pounds his cock into me like I'm being punished. And whatever my offense is, I want to do it over and over again to evoke this response from him.

The next time I wake up I'm draped over Jude like a blanket, wrapped in his arms, the room in pitch black darkness. My stomach gives a growl against his and he shifts awake. "Hungry?" he asks, his voice raspy with sleepiness.

"Uh-huh."

"It's three-forty-five. You want to head to that early breakfast thing?"

"Can we go naked?" I ask.

"Hell no. It's bad enough everyone gets to see you in that damn dress."

"I bet it'll be chilly, so I could probably use your jacket."

"Deal," he agrees.

I roll off of Jude and stretch my arms over my head. Happiness fills my body and soul like nothing I've ever felt before. I'm not sure how things are going to work out between the two of us once we leave the hotel and go back to the real world, but I'm trying not to worry about it now. I want to enjoy every second I have alone with Jude. But thinking about seeing him every day at the gym after being with him like this...I won't be able to stand going back to being invisible.

Chapter Six

Jude

I reluctantly turn on the bedside lamp and pull my clothes back on while I wait for Sadie to dress in the bathroom. If I hadn't heard her stomach rumble with hunger I wouldn't even think of leaving this room anytime soon. I have to admit that I've worked up my own appetite. I never imagined sex could be so damn amazing, and now that I'd had a taste I'm a fiend for more. Maybe this is why my brother was with more women than he could count before he married Page. It's addictive, and now I'm hooked.

Sadie comes back into the room with her dress on, hotter than fuck. She's smoothed her hair down but she still has that just fucked look to her, even with the sexy glasses. I hand her my tux jacket and she slips it on.

"Ready?" I ask.

"Yeah, sure." She grabs her tiny purse and sticks the room key inside it, then we're ready to go.

The banquet room is packed with kids, mostly looking tired, hungover, or just fucked. After we fix a plate, mine piled high with pancakes, sausage, and eggs, we sit down with the group from the limo.

"So, where've you two been?" the girl in the purple dress asks with a smirk.

"Asleep," Sadie says, trying not to smile and failing.

"Yeah, we were all
asleep
." The girl laughs.

"Ryder's been bad mouthing you," one of the guys says.

"I warned that sonofabitch not to say another word about her," I snap, looking around the room for the bastard.

"Oh, he was talking shit about you, not her," the dude clarifies.

"Well in that case, he can have at it," I respond. I will knock the shit out of that little bastard if I ever hear him speak to Sadie again. I've never wanted to hit someone so much in my life, and I fight for a fucking living.

When everyone finishes eating we unfortunately have to head back to the limo that's waiting out in front of the hotel where it dropped us off. In just a few minutes we'll be back at Coach's house and I'll have to pull my shit together so he won't know I've been with his daughter.

So many times I lost count.

Which reminds me of how I ended up here with her to begin with. I make a quick pit stop in the bathroom to straighten up my formal wear in the mirror, trying to make it look like it hasn't spent the majority of the night on the hotel floor rather than on me before we leave.

Once we climb into the limo, it pulls away from the hotel, all of us looking half dead. Unlike the last time we were in here, Sadie is curled up against my side and my arms are around her, my head resting on hers. It's surprising how much has changed between us in just a few hours. In a way I feel like I've been sucker punched, blindsided by how goddamn right it feels to be with this girl I've simultaneously known forever but has been hiding the whole time. Until last night.

I feel like a prick for never noticing her until her extreme makeover, but now, it wouldn’t matter if she goes back to the brown, curly hair, thick glasses, and baggy clothes. I'd still see
her
. The way her beautiful smile lights up her face. The way she looks at me with those gorgeous emerald eyes like I'm responsible for world peace and curing cancer. The sweet sound of her giggles. And there's no way I can ever forget the familiar shiver every time she says my name with more warmth and reverence than anyone else ever has.

When the limo comes to a stop, I figure we've arrived at our destination, Coach's house, but nope. We're sitting in the mostly empty parking lot of a twenty-four hour pharmacy.

"I'll be right back," Sadie says before easing out of my arms.

What the fuck? Is she sick or something?

I jump out after her, but she turns around and tries to stop me.

"You can just wait here."

"No, I'm coming with you," I insist.

Sadie opens her mouth and then closes it like she's going to argue some more, but finally bites her bottom lip and heads for the entrance.

"Did you ask the driver to stop here?" I question her when we walk through the sliding glass doors.

"Uh-huh."

"Why?" I ask. "Are you okay?"

"Just...please don't be pissed," she says, rounding the corner of the family planning aisle.

"Why would I be pissed?" I ask in confusion. Then she grabs a box off the shelf. One that says,
Plan B One-Step Emergency Contraception
.

Oh dear God.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me," I mutter as I stare at the box. Sadie turns and walks away toward the register, leaving me paralyzed in the damn "family planning" aisle. I just wanted to lose my virginity, I didn't want to start a fucking family with a girl that hasn't even graduated from high school yet!

"Sadie, wait a second!" I yell, catching up with her. She stops but doesn't turn around, so I spin her by her shoulders until she's facing me. "What the hell were you thinking? You should've stopped me instead of letting me
wrongly
assume that you were on birth control!"

"I didn't want you to stop," she says softly, looking at the ground instead of me.

I jerk the box from her hands and read the back of it. "It's only ninety-five percent effective!" I exclaim, my voice sounding oddly higher than normal. "There's a five fucking percent chance I just knocked you up!"

"I'm not...my period is due any day, so I won't...this is just to make sure."

"Goddamn it, Sadie!" I'm so pissed I can't even see straight. I take the damn box up to the register, figuring paying for it is the least I can do if it's my only chance of not having a bastard child. This is what I get for losing my virginity to a fucking teenager.

I cringe when I realize I said that last part aloud. Sadie walks out the automatic doors at the same time the clerk stops ringing up the old lady in front of me, so they can both stare at me. "She's eighteen!" I clarify before they call the police.

I pay the fifty bucks for the pill that's worth a million if it does what it's supposed to, and climb back in the limo. I know everyone is looking at me, but I don't care. This is
Sex Ed 101
in session. I open the fucking box, read the directions, and stretch across the car to hand Sadie the foil containing the pill. She's now sitting beside the purple dress girl, probably because she knows I'm about to lose my shit. Not about to, I
am
losing my shit. I want to see her take the goddamn pill since I'm having a hard time trusting her now. How dare she make a decision like this without telling me?

"Math lesson, kids,
Plan B
is only ninety-five percent effective, while condoms are ninety-nine percent effective. That four percent makes a big fucking difference."

I sit back in my seat, scrubbing my hands over my face so hard I might peel the skin off. I'm exhausted and cranky, I know that but can't help it. How could she do something so irresponsible?

"I don't feel so good," Sadie mutters and I glance up to find her head on the other girl's shoulder. Yeah, I know the feeling. My stomach isn't real steady at the moment with the thought of being a dad. I love my nephew Xavier, but he's crazier and messier than a shithouse rat. I'm not ready to deal with the kind of lifestyle change that includes bottles and diapers.

The limo barely comes to a stop before Sadie lurches to the door and throws up in her driveway.

"Fuuuck," I grumble.

The pamphlet said the pill could cause nausea and vomiting, and if it's thrown up within the first two hours of taking it, she'll need to take another one. It looks like I'll be making a trip back to the pharmacy.

I get sympathetic looks from the other three guys while the girls glare daggers at me as I climb out of the car.

"You okay?" I ask Sadie who's leaning with her back against the side of the limo. She shakes her hanging head in response. Yeah, I'm not, either.

The porch light comes on a second before her dad opens the front door, so I quietly tell Sadie to call me when he leaves for the gym and I'll bring her another pill. With a quick nod she pushes off from the limo and goes inside without another word, dodging her dad when he tries to talk to her.

"Jude!" Coach calls out to me before I can escape with everyone else.

I straighten my spine and roll my shoulders back while trying hard to keep the fact that I fucked his daughter all night from showing on my face. Oh yeah, and possibly knocked her up.

"What's wrong with Sadie?" he asks.

"It was a just a long night. Everyone's exhausted."

"She looked upset. Did that dickhead cause problems?" he asks.

Yes! Thank you, dickhead. I'll roll with that excuse. "Yeah, he said some shit to her. I told her to forget him, and I informed him while squeezing his throat that if I heard he'd said anything else about her I'd teach him some manners with my fists."

Coach laughs. "Thanks."

"No problem. I'm heading home to get some sleep," I tell him, then remember what Sadie had said about giving up her beach trip. "Oh, and what the hell? Did you con your daughter out of senior week like you conned me into this?"

"Can you blame me? A bunch of young girls on their own for the first time in their lives, making shitty decisions for a week while every dick in sight tries to screw them? No way."

My jaw clenches at that horrible thought, but I push forward on her behalf. "Still, you let her think she couldn’t go to prom just to make her give it up."

"Yeah, it was probably wrong," he says with a nod. “I’ll let her go if you agree to go with them, make sure they stay out of trouble, and keep the assholes away."

"You're kidding," I mutter. Did he really believe I'd kept my hands off of Sadie all night? I'm not that good of a liar. "I can't do that. I should be at the gym right now, getting ready for this fight. I can't lose a week of training."

Then an image of Sadie in a skimpy bikini flashes through my mind. The girls would meet all sorts of perverted bastards. Bastards who will probably get them drunk, so they could fuck them. She's already made it clear that she isn't the best decision maker on the planet. And then even more vivid comes the images of me and her spending a week in bed, fucking each other's brains out like we'd done last night. My anger at her bad judgment quickly diffuses at the prospect of seeing her naked seven days and nights in a row.

That's when I realize Coach has been talking to me while I was thinking about fucking his daughter. "Sorry, what?" I ask.

"I said, you can get in cardio and strength training anywhere. Then we'll hit the training hard when you get back."

I act like I'm thinking it over.

"I'll pay you-"

"I don't want your fucking money," I say, probably more acerbic than needed. Just the idea of taking money for anything to do with sleeping with Sadie doesn't sit well. Sort of like how I feel about getting a half a million dollar fight for taking her to prom.

"Good, so you'll do it for free?"

"Fine, damn it," I groan as realistically as possible.

"I've just got to figure out a way to get Sadie and the other girls to agree with you tagging along."

I know I have some apologizing to do. Probably some groveling. Looking back, I don't regret the night, even with the lack of contraception. It had been...perfect until I flipped out on Sadie and lost my shit. She was right, I was so far gone. I wasn't sure if I'd been able to stop even if she'd been honest with me. I'd wanted her so goddamn much. No, it felt like I
needed
her.

"Tell her she can't go unless I do, too."

"Yeah, that should work." Coach laughs. "You heading to the gym today?"

"Probably, but it'll be later this afternoon after I get some sleep."

"See you then. I'm going to head over in about an hour," he says. I wave goodbye and get the hell out of there. At least for an hour.

...

Sadie

I've just finished blow drying and braiding my hair when Jude knocks on the front door. Here's hoping this damn pill stays down. I unlock the deadbolt to let him in, praying he won’t yell at me anymore.

"Hey," he says softly. I look up at his gorgeous face expecting anger, but he seems calm, his eyes warm and apologetic even.

"Hey."

He holds out the plastic bag in his hand which I accept. "Thanks."

"If you want to go ahead and take it, I'll stick around to make sure it stays down," Jude offers. I figure he just wants to be sure I actually swallow it since he doesn't trust me, and for good reason.

I nod and reach into the bag, noticing there are two boxes, the
Plan B
one, and a box of
Trojan
condoms. Condoms?

"I'm sorry about how I acted," Jude says. "I was just caught off guard, and then tried to blame you for my own mistake...no, not a mistake, but my oversight."

"You had every right to be upset. It was stupid of me," I admit, shaking my head.

"I still would've slept with you, and I probably would've tried to pull out, which is only about seventy-five percent effective, if that. So, we would've needed the
Plan B
either way. I don't regret it, Sadie."
