She allowed it until her orgasm waved off, then she pulled away.

“I’m not done with you,” he said softly, and Alex didn’t object when he ordered her to sit astride him. In this position Zurry could bite and lick her nipples and play with her breasts. Alex arched her back with a sweet moan; he knew this was the part that she fantasized about. Face to face and being claimed. Zurry wasn’t stupid; he understood that to Alex it was all about feeling connected to him, and he didn’t mind one bit.

“Yes, take me. I’m yours,” she whispered while biting her lips. He did just that and filled her up completely.

“That’s right, sweetness. You are mine
and only mine
.”

“Yes.” Alex looked at him through glazed eyes as he lifted her butt and hammered in and out of her.  He felt strong and masculine compared to her small size, and it was a rush to have her completely surrender to him and give in to his powers.

This was more than fucking. This was completeness and connectedness, and when Alex leaned her head back and laughed it sounded like beautiful music to his ears.

Zurry pulled her head back and forced her to look at him, giving her a sexy grin. “I love it when you surrender to me, Alex.”

“Yes,” she said and lifted her arms above her head in complete surrender. “Right this moment I’m all yours, Zurry,”

“Fuck…” was all he could growl as he gazed at her in awe, pushing harder and deeper while circling her clit with his finger. He was insatiable and this might still be Alex in her role play, but Zurry felt a wave of euphoria rolling from his toes and all the way up to his scalp.

He thought about holding back and waiting for Alex to come a third time, but the wave was too powerful and he screamed out profanities in Spiri as he filled Alex with spurt after spurt of his sperm.

Alex was screaming his name and her shivering body was clinging to him, but he was too far into his own orgasm to register much. He leaned back his head, squeezed her luscious behind, and pushed all the way in. “Fucking paradise,” he roared with a deep satisfaction he had never known before.

Neither of them moved for a while. Zurry wanted to stay this way forever, unable to get enough of Alex, and even when he felt his dick soften inside her, he kept his arms folded around her waist, enjoying the weight of her on his chest. “I can’t believe someone like you exists and that you’re mine,” Zurry whispered.

Alex gave a deep sigh and then she chuckled lightly. “You don’t have to pretend I’m yours anymore, Zurry, the role-playing is over.”

He blinked a few times.
What in the world was that supposed to mean?

She could obviously see his confusion because she repeated his words. “You said that you couldn’t believe I was yours.”

“Did I?”

“Yes, it’s okay, I know you did it for me.” Alex smiled and slid down on the bed, leaving him on his back with a wet cock.

“I’ll get some paper.” He rolled over and got out of the bed.

“Actually, I have to pee. My gynecologist says it helps prevent bladder infections to pee after sex.”

Zurry didn’t know what to think when Alex walked naked with him into the bathroom and sat down to empty her bladder. He had never heard a woman pee, let alone seen it. She reached out her hand with paper for him.

“Thanks,” he muttered and tried to hide how thrown off he was by her unconcerned nakedness.

Alex flushed the toilet and washed her hands, and then she did something equally strange. She snuggled up against him and met his eyes in the mirror. It was the most surreal reflection, with him, tall and broad-shouldered, looking a bit lost with her small, deliciously curvy body pressed up against him, and her face smiling up at him looking satisfied and well fucked.

Zurry might have had sex with many women, but he had never experienced this type of intimacy with anyone but Alex.

She waited while he washed his hands and then she led him back to his bed.

“Can I sleep with you tonight?” she asked softly.

He nodded, unable to find words to describe how he would barricade his door and tie her down if she even tried to get dressed and leave his bed.

“I’m so tired and ready to sleep, but I don’t want to,” she muttered when they were back in bed and she lay with her chin resting on his chest.

Zurry had his eyes wide open, starring into the ceiling; his mind was trying to catch up to everything that had happened since Alex walked into his life. Had it really only been this afternoon that she had popped up in his office and enslaved him with her beauty and vibrant personality? His world would never be the same, he knew that much.

“You are awfully quiet,” Alex said and raised her head to look at him. “Are you okay?”

“Yes… I’m okay. Sleep now, Alex. I’ll talk with your father tomorrow.”

“About us staying an extra day?”

He didn’t answer her. He didn’t know exactly what to say to her father.
Will he take me seriously if I ask for his daughter’s hand in marriage after knowing her for only one day?… Probably not. It’s a bad idea. A very bad idea.

But what else am I supposed to do? I can’t let her go back to Chicago and marry someone else. What we have doesn’t happen twice in a lifetime, and I would be a fool to let her go. No, this is all crazy. I have to let her go. She would never stay with me anyway. I could at least ask her.

“Alex… what if I said I don’t want you to go home?”

She was silent.

“What if I asked you to stay here and sleep with me every night? I know we haven’t known each other long, but I want more of you.”

Her voice was sleepy and a bit slurred. “I don’t want to be your mistress, Zurry. It’s not how I roll.” She yawned and turned on her side.

He waited, trying to find the right way to ask his question. “Alex, what I’m trying to say is that I would like you to be my wife.”

Silence.

“Alex, did you hear me?”

Zurry shook her, but from the way her limbs moved he knew she had fallen asleep.

Typical… the first time I propose to a girl, she falls asleep. Maybe it’s a sign, that it’s not the right thing to do.
Zurry yawned too and folded an arm tightly around Alex.

It was definitely not the right thing to do, but damn, it had felt amazing to claim her as his.

CHAPTER 21

Queen

Jenna

Jenna speed walked down the corridors closest to the music room, hoping to find her sister and Zurry. The last she had gotten a glimpse of them, Alex had looked defensive, and Jenna had wanted to come to her aid.
If only I hadn’t been distracted by Kioni and my dad.

She looked left and right. No luck.

Next she went to her room, but Alex wasn’t there either.

Where the hell are you, Alex?
The answer wasn’t hard to figure out. Alex was with Zurry, but Jenna had no idea where his suite was in this huge place.

Kioni will know
, she thought and almost ran back to the music room, but the room was mostly empty and Kioni wasn’t there. Her father, however, was entertaining himself, playing cards with some of her team members.

She excused herself, trying to recall the time Kalen had led her from the music room and to Kioni’s private chambers –
Maybe I can find it again if I concentrate.

She didn’t have the best sense of direction and lost her way a few times, which forced her to go back and start over, but on her fourth attempt, she found the right door with a guard standing outside.

The last time she had come here, Kalen had walked right in, but Kalen wasn’t here now and upon seeing her, the guard blocked the door and spoke to her in Spiri.

“I need to see the king,” she said in English and pointed to the door.

The guard assessed her a few seconds and then he tapped on the door. They both waited until a voice was heard from the inside that made the guard open the door and say something in Spiri; a reply came and the guard waved her closer, opening the door for her.

Slowly, Jenna entered the room that she was already familiar with, but this time both Kioni and his mother were standing inside.

The queen mother gave Jenna a cold glance but turned her attention back to Kioni when her son placed both his hands on his mother’s shoulders and spoke quietly for a minute. Whatever he said made her nod and quietly leave the room.

“Jenna, I would have introduced you to my mother, but the timing wasn’t right.”

“Is something wrong?”

“She is impatiently waiting for my decision about whom to marry. I had promised her an answer about Miss Molpino by tonight.”

An iron fist squeezed Jenna’s heart. “And did you answer her?”

He shook his head. “I told her I needed another day.”

“So you’re still thinking about marrying
her
?”

He frowned. “You promised me we could talk about it after the concert. I was hoping that…”

“That I would allow you to use me as an ultimatum?”

He pushed out air forcefully. “What does it matter?… As long as we get to be together, Jenna.”

Her head fell, and in the few seconds it took her to control her need to shout at him, he had made it across the room and was standing right in front of her.

“Jenna… I know we aren’t the obvious choice of partner for each other, but I would rather fight and make up with you than live a passionless life with someone else.”

“So what are you saying? I have until tomorrow to say yes, or you’ll marry someone else?”

“I’m sorry to rush you but I’m under a lot of pressure.”

She raised her voice. “You’re not being fair.”

“No, but life isn’t fair and people depend on me.”

“Yeah, well, tough shit… where I come from people don’t rush into marriage. They spend years together to see it they are the right fit before they marry.”

“That might be so.” Kioni leaned back and crossed his arms. “But in this country the getting to know each other happens after the marriage takes place.”

Jenna shook her head. “Don’t you see how crazy that is? What if you marry someone you’re not even compatible with? Someone you don’t love?”

He shrugged. “In your culture, marriage is about love and sexual attraction. In our culture it’s about strengthening relations between families, securing wealth, and producing heirs. It’s a practical arrangement, and finding great passion or love is a bonus but not a must. As long as both partners respect each other that is all that matters.”

“I could never marry for practical reasons,” Jenna said stubbornly.

“Even if you married for love there would be no guarantees, Jenna. As far as I know, living together for years doesn’t guarantee a blissful marriage. All the divorces in your culture should give you proof of that. At least with me you know we are sexually compatible and that I’ll be able to provide for you.”

Jenna lifted her chin. “I can provide for myself, thank you very much.”

“Maybe financially, but who holds you at night, who listens to your worries and rubs your back when you need support? Who can make you scream out your orgasm?”

Jenna sighed and leaned into Kioni, her mind going a hundred miles an hour. He rested his head on top of her hair and folded his arms around her.

“I always said I wouldn’t marry,” she said in a breathy sigh and closed her eyes.

“Why?”

“Because men cheat.” It came out matter-of-factly.

“I won’t ever cheat on you, beautiful. That’s my promise to you.”

Jenna lifted her head and gave him a skeptical look. “You say that now… but when you grow tired of me you’ll want something different and resent me for making you live without pleasers.”

“As long as I get to sleep with you, I won’t need anyone else.”

“Kioni… I can’t believe we’re even discussing the idea of marriage. Don’t you see how crazy this is? What would people think?”

“I don’t care, Jenna. For once I want to be selfish and think of my needs and not my country’s need.”

“But I won’t let you use me as an excuse. If you want to marry me, you’ll have to tell your council the truth. I’m not forcing you; you’re the one asking me to marry you, not the other way around. I won’t be your scapegoat.

Kioni smiled. “So are you saying that you’ll marry me?”

Jenna closed her eyes for a second and took a deep breath. “No, what I’m saying is that I’ll consider it and that I’ll need a bit more time. I want to get to know you better before I make my decision.”

“Then stay with me tonight. Ask me all the questions you like and make your decision tomorrow morning.”

She laughed. “Tell your mother that you’re not marrying the ice queen and that you’re hoping to marry me. Woo me over the next weeks and then maybe I’ll say yes. If not, I’m sure you can easily find a new doll to marry.”

He tugged her close and bit her earlobe. “You’d better say yes.”

“I’m not giving any guarantees. I’m still not convinced this is the right thing for us.”

Kioni pressed himself against her. “Let me convince you then.”

Jenna was so distracted by Kioni’s kisses that it took her a long time before she remembered why she had come in the first place.

“You need to show me to Zurry’s room.”

Kioni snapped his head up. “Why the hell would I do that when I’m about to make love to you? If you want me to be faithful to you, I expect the same of you. I told you that already.”

Jenna gaped at him. “What do you take me for? I need to find my sister, and I think she’s with Zurry.”

“In that case, don’t you think she would appreciate some privacy?”

“Probably, but I need to help her before Zurry seduces her and she ends up with a broken heart.”

Kioni looked down at his wrist watch. “When was the last time you saw her?”

“Right after the concert, and then they disappeared together.”

“That would be thirty-five minutes at least. Sorry, love, but the deed is already done by now. I know Zurry, and there’s no way your sister is still dressed if she’s been alone with him for that long.”

Irritation rose in Jenna. “Call him. Tell him to back off and leave her alone.”

He shook his head. “No. They are consenting adults. I won’t meddle in his affairs like that. I already ordered him to stay away from you. I can’t tell him to stay away from Alex too.”

Jenna felt desperate and pulled away. “Well, in that case I won’t marry you,” she told him.

Kioni looked like she had slapped him, but he pulled her back into his arms with a harsh tug and locked eyes with her. “Listen to me, Jenna.” He spoke in a hoarse voice, revealing how he was straining himself to keep calm. “If you think I’ll let you threaten me or blackmail me, then you are wrong. If you decide to marry me then you should know that I won’t be manipulated or pressured into doing what I don’t believe in. If you want to marry a man whom you can control, then go find him. It’s not me.”

Butterflies swarmed in Jenna’s stomach from the raw masculine power pulsing from Kioni.

“Now be a good girl and let your sister have some fun. I’ll even distract you so you won’t have to worry about her.”

Jenna knew she should protest and tell him to stop calling her a girl, but her inner sex diva was purring in the presence of this alpha male, and she didn’t object when he nudged her toward his bed and lay down on top of her.

“I’m going to show you just how compatible we are sexually and then you are going to say yes to marrying me, my queen.”

“I’m not your queen,” she protested but he swallowed her words with a deep kiss and playfully sucked at her tongue.

“Don’t say another word, darling, unless it’s ‘yes’, ‘more’, ‘harder’, or ‘I’m coming’.”

“Not even your name?” she teased.

He smiled smugly. “You can shout my name and pull at my hair as much as you want, but I don’t want to hear another ‘no’ from you. I heard you when you said you need a few weeks to make up your mind, but I already made up mine – and I’ll have you scream out your yes to becoming my wife before this night is over.”

Jenna chuckled and pushed at him. “I want it noted that any consent to marriage given by me in a state of sexual arousal or intoxication should be considered null.”

“Damn it…” Kioni’s head fell forward but then he looked up with new determination. “I accept the challenge, and I will feel double victorious when you accept me as your husband. Because you
will
accept me, Jenna.”

She gave him a smile. It was impossible not to when a gorgeous man was on top of her declaring that he wanted to make her his. Over the next weeks he would surely learn that they weren’t a good match and be grateful that she had made him wait a bit. It would all resolve itself in time, and until then she would allow herself to indulge in the strong physical attraction she felt toward Kioni.

Jenna

Jenna woke up early, stretching her body against Kioni’s warm skin. It had been a magical night and this time he had been wise enough to use condoms, although he complained that he didn’t like them.

She let a hand slide between her legs but there was no blood. She still hadn’t gotten her period, and it was starting to worry her a lot. To her surprise Kioni didn’t seem as concerned about the prospect of an unwanted pregnancy; in fact he had touched her belly lovingly yesterday and asked her if she thought she was pregnant. It made no sense, but then again, nothing about her and Kioni made any sense.

It was Saturday and she didn’t have to work; that was a good thing, too, as she would much rather enjoy the large naked man next to her.

Kioni stirred and opened his eyes. A sun streak fell on his face and made his pupils retract to small black dots, giving Jenna a chance to admire his chocolate-colored irises full of honey- and whiskey-colored specks. They sparkled and when he saw her, a large smile spread across his handsome face. “Hey, beautiful,” he said and yawned.

“Hey, you, did you sleep well?”

“Uh-huh… how could I not after hearing you consent?”

“I told you it doesn’t count. I was momentarily insane with lust – you could have made me agree to anything.”

His right brow lifted. “I don’t care. I heard you say yes to marrying me and soon you’ll repeat it outside the bed as well.”

“You are pretty sure of yourself, aren’t you?”

“Yup,” he snuggled up to her and placed his head on her belly, stroking it lovingly.
