Chapter Twenty

Amber
snuggled deeper into the blankets and thought about the excursion Kniam had
given her. He had shown her around all of Terraneu. In the industrial domes he
had explained that what the computer couldn’t replicate, they made for
themselves. It was kind of the old west, meets Star Trek. They had pieced
together everything they could think of to survive. In a strange way it worked.
She could see that the females might need additional entertainment, after
seeing what the men here did for fun. They had a three dome unit, similar to
the Sorrems holding, only this was partitioned for games. One was for wrestling
matches. One was for the holographic war simulations, weapons optional, and one
was for all types of board games. There was a running game they played outside
called Bio’los. It started with someone yelling out a ring/dome # then the
participants would race to get to that dome. Once there, there were tasked with
solving a hard riddle, then they had to race back and give their answer. If
they were correct they won, if not they had to race back and try again. They
had a tug-of-war pit that they also used for a balance game and generic golf
with a very large ball and stick.

She
knew that she could probably get them to bring Earth games and technology here
if she asked. That is where it was getting hard for her. She didn’t want to
change Terraneu into another Earth by asking for too much. On the other hand,
she didn’t want the women coming here to be so out of sorts that it created
havoc. She would have to talk with Kniam and see what he thought.

She
had been stunned when he took her to their “holding” dome. It was where they
kept the less useful materials they found around Terraneu. There had been a
huge pile of clear stones he said were only useful for minor cutting. They had
turned out to be diamonds. In other piles there were gold, silver, and
platinum. She had jokingly asked where the uranium was. He had told her in all
seriousness that they had never dealt with the toxic material, and never
would…even in trade for women. She had told him it was a good thing, because
trying to barter with uranium would get Kneus arrested, and thrown into a giant
hole of a prison never to escape. Or worse, whoever got a hold of them might
ask just where they had come across the material! She had debated about which
objects might work best for their purposes, and settled on the ores. She wasn’t
sure what the make-up their diamonds were, and she didn’t want to raise too
many questions if they contained a component not found on Earth.

Her
days and nights with Kniam had been an eye-opening wonder. He talked with her
about everything. How the plans were coming to settle the women, and the vote
on who would be waiting for an offspring. Half had chosen to take their chances
and wait for offspring. So they were going to need around one hundred and fifty
women. He even let her name the new compound being built in case of a
population explosion. She had come up with the name “New Haven”. It was going
to be just south of the existing complex, and built in four dome squares with
bigger balconies and more yard space. He had even listened to her advice on
that matter too! So every family unit would have about 2800 sq. feet of space.
Given that they didn’t have kitchens, or televisions to keep people inside…all
of the entertainment would have to be outside. He listened to her, trusted her
opinion, and worshiped her with his body every chance he got! She was one lucky
woman.

She felt a smile
spread across her face and did a luxurious stretch. Her fingers fanning across
silken fur. Her brow furrowed for a second and she rubbed her fingers across
the same spot. Yep, that is silken fur against her. When did Kniam get her a
fur blanket? She opened her eyes to check it out, and just barely held back her
startled scream. It wasn’t a blanket. It was a Sacath! One of those
saber-toothed, woman eating lion things…and it was looking right at her! Worse
it was taking up the whole side of the bed where Kniam should have been. Which
put it about a foot away. Its great big amber eyes were locked onto hers, its
tongue kept swiping out to lick its lips!

“Kniam…” she
whispered…at the sound of her panicked whisper, its ears pricked forward and it
rolled onto its stomach. This put it right next to her, with its face now
inches from hers.

“Kniam…” she
croaked again, this time a little louder. She just knew she was seconds away
from being breakfast for this beast! Again its ears pricked up at her voice,
and this time a huge tongue went across her face.

“Yeccchhhh!” she
hadn’t meant to be that loud and hoped she hadn’t startled it. That was
disgusting! When she opened her eyes, the beast was still there, its tail
thumping back and forth on the mattress. Ok, this wasn’t some crazed beast.
With a tentative hand she reached out and when it didn’t growl, she gently stroked
along its fur. It reacted by rolling on its back with its legs in the air, its
huge saucer like paws with inch long nails, flopping around. This was something
she was used to seeing a canine do. It wanted to be rubbed on its belly!

“You want a belly
rub?” Amber sat up and started at the chest, scratching gently at first, then
massaging its muscled chest vigorously. She must have been doing something
right, because it started a type of growling, purr thing…and twitched back and
forth. Kind of getting a belly rub, and back scratch all in one.

“Cebat!” Kniam
walked into the room. “How did you sneak in here, I told you NO!” At Kniams
arrival, and words the Sacath rolled onto his stomach and gave a droop dog look
at Kniam. Putting his face between his paws, and looking up at with a “Who me?”
innocence.

“Don’t you pretend
you don’t know!” Kniam pointed to the floor, “Get down Cebat…now.” The Sacath
looked imploringly at her, and she started laughing.

“Ohhh, no you
don’t. I’m not getting into the middle of this!” With that declaration and one
last pat for Cebat she headed into the bathroom to shower and get ready. Kniam
had told her last night that he was going to take her on a scenic tour, outside
the city. She had already seen how they could configure any dome they wanted,
to be anything they wanted it to be. Now she was going to get a chance to
explore the wilderness. They were going to ride some kind of pack animal they
called a Sorrem. She had told Kniam that she had no experience at all on a pack
animal, he laughed and told her it would be fine. Sorrems were very gentle
creatures, and would be easy for her to learn to ride. She didn’t need to worry
about that for today, she would be riding with him…not by herself.

She hurried in
washing, and was just drying off with a towel when Kniam came into the
bathroom.

“Did Cebat scare
you? I don’t know how he managed to sneak into your bedchamber. I have managed
to keep him out until now.” His concern was heartwarming, and she was quick to
defuse any worry he was feeling.

“I was scared at
first, but he was very friendly. It was apparent that he was a pet after I got
over my initial fear. He is a very large animal, and I wasn’t sure if I was on
the menu for breakfast.” She laughed at the thought of what her face must have
looked like when she first laid eyes on Cebat!

Kniam relaxed, “I
am glad you were not overly frightened. Cebat has been terrorizing the whole of
Terraneu. He is being so picky about a mate, I am beginning to think he might
not find one. The few females that were recently brought here are almost
trained enough to be given new homes. I hope that Cebat will mate with one of
them, and save us from his tantrums.”

Amber laughed at
the thought of the five hundred pound Sacath having a tantrum. She was
expecting to see him in the bedroom, but was surprised when it was empty.
“Where did he go?” she asked over her shoulder at Kniam.

“He is out hunting
his breakfast. Do not worry for Cebat, he has a nose that can sniff me out
anywhere on Terraneu. If he is wanting to find us, nothing will stop him.”

Amber tied her
dress into place, she was getting better at putting the garment on. “Viola, I’m
ready!”

Kniam was waiting
for her, and together they headed out to the Sorrem holding. It was actually
the same dome design, only the walls removed to make space for the animals. The
section took up the whole of R1-SE1-5. Kniam chose the animal he wanted for
their ride, and put some kind of exotic saddle on it. When he had gained his
seat, he reached down for her and swung her up in front of him.

As they headed out
the gates, Kniam pointed out interesting mountain ranges in the distance. Told
her the history about why they had picked this spot to settle. He talked about
the different animal life they might see, which were dangerous and which were
not. He had a dun’bah blade strapped to his thigh, along with some kind of
taser gun. Like she had thought before, the Old West meets Star Trek.

“The area the
original fathers chose to finally settle is the most temperate in Terraneu. It
doesn’t get too hot, or too cold. There are some extremes the farther you
travel to the north and south of here. With the limited population we have,
striking out to settle different parts of Terraneu wasn’t permitted. Maybe we
will be able to allow our men to establish new settlements someday. For now New
Haven will have to be enough.”

Amber thought for
a moment then said, “Being able to live for a thousand years, it is very likely
that you will have to make new settlements soon, beyond New Haven. Not just allow
them to happen ‘someday’”. She looked over her shoulder at Kniam, “If all of
your men find a woman from those brought here, or even someone’s daughter…there
is going to be a huge population boom!” Her neck hurt from straining to see his
face, so when she felt a moment in the Sorrems gait that she felt safest, she
quickly tucked her legs side saddle…then maneuvered her left leg across Kniams
lap, so that she was facing him.

Kniam had a moment
of confusion as Amber swung her leg over, “Amber what…” he didn’t finish.

Amber had made it
around so that she was facing him, “There, now I don’t have to strain my neck
to talk to you while we ride.”

She gave
him a brilliant smile. “There were some things I was wanting to talk about regarding
the women, and what they might need to be happy here.”

~*~*~*

The
little female was going on about some things she felt were needed for the
females of Earth, but he wasn’t listening. He was distracted by her full
breasts pressed into his chest, and the weight of her thighs draped over his.
He released the reins with one hand, and gently placed it against her back. She
didn’t even stop in her speech, so he started making little circles with his
fingertips against her spine.

“I really think
that…” she didn’t notice as his hand, moved around to land gently on her upper
thigh.

“Then it would
be…” she just kept talking, and he felt the need to say, “Yes” or “I agree.”
every now and then so she wouldn’t notice he wasn’t paying attention. Not to
her words anyway. He was definitely paying attention to her body. He could
smell the most delicious musk, and his mouth watered. Ever so slowly, he opened
his hand, so that his fingers were splayed along her leg. He then used his
thumb to rub against her inner thigh.

She stopped
talking for just a second, when he gave her an innocent look, she continued,
“There will be…” she kept her eyes on his face now, instead of talking
animatedly with her hands and gesturing around. He moved his thumb a little
closer to her heat, and she stopped talking again.

He raised an
eyebrow at her, and she started laughing, “Have you heard a word I’ve said?”

Kniam smiled back,
“Do you want complete honesty?” he asked.

Amber didn’t have
to think about that, “Yes. I would always like complete honesty from you.”

Kniam drew her
against his chest, “Then, No. I haven’t heard a word you said.”

~*~*~

Before
she could protest, Kniam sealed his lips to hers. The heat flared between them
instantly, and the kiss quickly turned carnal. Amber reached up and sliding her
hands under his vest at the top, gripped his shoulders. Pulling herself flush
against his lap, she wrapped her legs around his back.

Amber broke their
kiss, and looked up into Kniams face. His purple eyes were velvet flame, and
she knew that he was as aroused as she was. The bulge pressing against the seam
of her sex, and the harsh panting was a dead giveaway as well. She slid one
hand away from his shoulder, and slid her fingers down over his stomach. His
muscles bunched under her fingertips, and she only stopped when she got to the
waistband of his pants. She knew how to unfasten the snaps, so made quick work
of them. Reaching between them she wriggled her fingers into Kniams pants and
started massaging as much of his thick shaft as she could reach.

Kniam hadn’t been idle
while she was massaging and reaching for him. He had moved his fingers to the
wetness of her sex. “Amber we have to stop.”

Amber was
frantically placing kisses along his neck, “No…it’s ok. There isn’t anyone that
can see us…”

Kniam groaned as
Amber gave him a squeeze, “You misunderstand. We have to stop…because we are
have arrived.”

It was Amber’s
turn to groan…she had been so caught up in Kniams body she hadn’t realized they
had stopped moving. She looked around and gasped, it was a larger replica of her
bathroom oasis. Complete with waterfall, flowers, and large fern like plants.

Then she let out a
little shriek as Kniam swung one leg over, and dismounted the Sorrem. Before
she could react he adjusted her body over his shoulder and started walking to
the large pool of water. With one arm against the back of her legs to keep her
from moving, he slid the other hand up the back of her now completely exposed
thighs. He moved his fingers back and forth against the wetness he found along
her sex. She grabbed his ass cheeks and pinched in frustration. Then groaned
and almost bucked off his shoulder when he thrust a digit deep into her sex.
She moaned, and moved against his finger, enjoying the feel of it inside her,
then almost bit off her tongue when he added a second digit. The stretching
feeling was amazing, and she was so close to having a climax…just a little
more.
