Then he thrust into her, his pelvic bone slamming against her finger and pressing it harder against her center of pleasure.
Sabrina cried out. “Oh Daniel! Yes! Again!”
Hearing his name come over her lips, drove him nearly insane. He’d always loved that: her acknowledging that he was the one giving her this pleasure, that he was the one to drive her to ecstasy.
In quick, frenzied movements, he continued to fuck in and out of her tight sheath, each time pressing her finger against her clit.
“Now,” she let out breathlessly.
“Yes!” he cried out as he felt her sex clench around his cock, squeezing him even tighter than before.
He let go of his control and a moment later, felt his seed shoot through his cock and explode from the tip, filling her as he continued to thrust, reveling in the aftershock of her orgasm that made her muscles spasm.
He felt his knees grow weaker, and pressed her harder against the wall, ceasing his thrusts. Breathing hard, he leaned his forehead against Sabrina’s.
“Fuck, Sabrina, this was amazing.”
“Yes,” she answered just as breathlessly.
“You’re so hot! I can’t believe we did this.”
“I’ve never had sex in an elevator.”
He grinned. “Neither have I.” He pulled his head back to look at her. “But now that I’ve had it, I must say, I’m getting a taste for it.” In fact, he hoped this wouldn’t be the last time they did something exciting like this.
Sabrina caressed the back of his neck with her fingers, making him shiver pleasantly. “You’re getting downright adventurous.”
He winked. “With you, I can think of a lot of things I want to do.”
Slowly, his breathing returned to a semblance of normal and he eased out of her, then slowly set her feet back on the floor.
Sabrina stumbled and grabbed the wall for support.
“Whoa, easy, baby. Are you okay?” He reached for her, steadying her, though he felt almost as weak in the knees as she.
“Just a little shaky.” She lifted her lashes, looking at him seductively. “Maybe we can improve on this.”
He pulled her into his arms, his lips hovering over hers. “You wicked woman. Don’t tempt me when you know that we’ve run out of time. The doorman will get this elevator moving any moment now.”
He kissed her hard. “Now get dressed, before I spank your delightful ass.”
She chuckled as she bent down to pick up her G-string. He reached for it.
“I think I’m going to buy you crotch-less panties. It’ll save me from taking them off you. So next time we find ourselves in a place like this, I’ll only have to lift your skirt and can drive my cock into you immediately.”
Sabrina licked her lips. “Or maybe next time I won’t wear panties,” she suggested, giving him a sinful look.
He growled, his cock already rising again at the alluring thought, and he slapped her ass gently. “You’re going to be the death of me, Sabrina! Now put those clothes back on, or I’m going to bend you over, slap your little ass in earnest, and drive my cock into you until they can hear you scream all the way down in the lobby.”

Sabrina stood next to Daniel on the curb. He had one arm around her and was using the other to hail a cab.
Knowing he’d stood up to Audrey and made it clear to her that he loved Sabrina had been better than any apology he could have ever offered. She squeezed him a little tighter.
He turned his face to her, smiling. “Everything all right?”
She looked up at him and smiled. “Everything is perfect.”
Well, except for the fact that she was standing outside in a cool evening breeze, her sex still quivering with aftershocks of her orgasm. Could any pedestrian passing by tell that she’d just had mind-blowing sex in an elevator? Sabrina chuckled to herself.
“What’s so funny?”
“Us. Do you think people can tell that we’ve just had sex?”
Daniel laughed softly and dipped his mouth to her ear. “It’s written all over your face. And I’ve never seen anything look lovelier on you.”
Sabrina buried her face in the crook of his neck.
“There’s nothing to be ashamed of,” he said.
She felt another hot flash course through her body. “I feel hot.” She fanned herself.
Daniel chuckled. “That’s because you are.” He kissed her cheek. “In fact, you’re the hottest woman I’ve ever met.”
She rolled her eyes and shook her head. “You’re intentionally misunderstanding me.”
“Okay, would you rather walk home to cool down?”
“If my legs weren’t shaking I’d say yes, but I’m afraid a certain somebody just robbed me of all my energy.”
“Well, then let’s get you off your feet,” he said and waived at an approaching taxi.
It stopped and Daniel opened the door for Sabrina. She hopped in, and he climbed in behind her.
“Where to?” the cabbie asked.
Daniel gave him the address.
“Now, where were we?” he asked playfully and put his arm around Sabrina’s shoulders, pulling her toward him.
She leaned into him when he captured her lips for a kiss. The feel of his tongue in her mouth and of his hot breath mingling with hers set her aflame once more. She moaned softly and Daniel deepened the kiss.
Desperate for more closeness, Sabrina stroked her hand over his chest, savoring the feel of his warm skin and hard muscles beneath the fabric.
He broke the kiss and groaned.
“Remind me to thank Holly and buy her the biggest, most expensive gift I can find.”
“Finding a gift that she isn’t already planning to buy for herself might be difficult. She’s got an entire two days of shopping planned out.”
“Do you know where she’s going and when?”
“I can find out, why?” Sabrina lifted her head and looked at him.
“Because I plan to pay for it.”
Sabrina’s jaw dropped. “You have no idea how much Holly can shop.”
He shrugged. “I don’t care. What she did for me is worth more than money.”
Sabrina lifted her eyebrows. “Are you sure?”
Daniel nodded. “I owe Holly everything, Sabrina. She’s the reason you’re in my life. She helped me in San Francisco when I needed it, and she helped me again today. If it weren’t for her, I’d still be a workaholic bachelor trying to fend off New York’s gold digging elite. She gave me my life when she gave me you. There isn’t enough money in the world to repay her for that.”
Sabrina felt her heart melt. Her eyes became damp with unshed tears. “You’re so sweet,” she choked out.
“It’s the truth.” Daniel kissed the top of her head. “And I owe you, too.”
“Me? What for?”
“For everything you did about Hannigan. He dropped his lawsuit.”
Excitement shot through her veins. “Oh my god! Really?” She sat up straight. “I can’t believe it. It worked!”
“Yes, it worked.” Daniel laughed. “You did it, Sabrina. You’re more brilliant than any of those hotshot lawyers I employ. If you hadn’t gotten the female staff at Brand, Freeman and Merriweather to make statements about Hannigan, it wouldn’t have happened.”
She smiled. “I am so glad it’s over. Hannigan is a bastard who thinks he’s above the law. It’s nice to know he realizes he can’t get away with that kind of behavior anymore.”
Daniel caressed her cheek with the back of his hand. “I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“Good thing is you’ll never have to find out,” she murmured. “I think we should celebrate.”
“Anything you want. You pick the time and place.”
“Hmm… ” She tapped her finger against her lips. “I want you to take some time off from work. Just one day, and spend it with me. We don’t have to go anywhere or do anything. I just want to have you all to myself for a little while.”
He simply stared at her for a moment, then shook his head, laughing. “You know what? Any other woman would have tried to pick the most expensive restaurant in the city, but you, you only want my time, nothing else.” His eyes sparkled as he leaned over and kissed her once more. “I love you, Sabrina.”
Before she had a chance to respond, the cab slowed and came to a stop in front of their building.
Daniel reached into his jacket pocket, then froze for a moment.
For a split second she wondered if he’d lost his wallet in the elevator, but then a smile formed on his lips.
He leaned toward the front, addressing the cab driver. “Could you please wait for just a moment?”
The driver nodded.
Curious, Sabrina watched as Daniel turned his attention back to her and pulled something from his jacket pocket. Automatically, she dropped her gaze to his hand.
When she recognized what lay in his palm, her eyes widened and her heart raced faster than a herd of horses at the Kentucky Derby.
“Oh my god,” she whispered, cupping her hands over her mouth.
Daniel opened the box, revealing a diamond solitaire sitting in a red velvet cushion.
“I bought it today after I got the news that Hannigan dropped his lawsuit and realized that you were the reason for him dropping it. I knew then that I had to make a change in my life and make sure you knew we belonged together.”
A tear loosened from her eye and ran down her cheek.
“Believe me, this is not how or where I wanted to do this, but I also don’t want to wait a moment longer. After everything that happened today and the fear I had of losing you for good… ” He shook his head and took a deep breath. “Sabrina Palmer, I love you more than anything in this world, and I don’t want to spend a single day without you in my life.”
He removed the ring from the box and held it out to her. “Will you marry me?”
Sabrina’s heart beat as if it wanted to jump out of her chest. “Yes!” she managed to choke out. “Yes!”
Daniel slipped the ring on her finger, then pulled her into his arms. “You have no idea how happy you’re making me. I love you so much, baby.”
Sabrina sniffled, unable to stop her tears from streaming down her face. “I love you, Daniel. More than anything. I can’t wait to be your wife.”
“Congratulations,” the cab driver’s brusque voice interrupted.
“Sorry.” Daniel reached into his jacket and pulled out his wallet.
He handed the driver several bills, then opened the door and stepped out. He extended his hand to Sabrina and helped her out of the cab. As soon as she stood, he pulled her back into his arms.
“You do know that you’ll have to resign your membership in the Eternal Bachelors Club and give up three-and-a-half million dollars, don’t you?”
“What’s three-and-a-half million dollars when I can have you?”
She beamed at him.
Then Daniel smirked. “You realize that by agreeing to marry me, our previous contract will be null and void.”
She nodded. “We can draft a new one if you’d like.”
“You want that?” He raised a brow and grinned.
“Yes, and I know a fantastic lawyer who can help us out.”
He laughed. “And what terms do you propose?”
“Well, for starters, I’d like to keep paragraph eleven of the current contract. Taking it out would be a deal breaker.”
“I agree. A total deal breaker. What else?”
“You are required to come home early at least once a week.”
Daniel nodded thoughtfully. “I can do that. But I have one condition myself. And it’s non-negotiable.”
She lifted her chin, wondering what he had in mind. “What is it?”
“No termination clause for either one of us this time, Sabrina.
Per sempre
. Forever.”
“Forever,” she repeated, before he sank his lips back onto her mouth and kissed her passionately.
