There were common places these
kids
gathered; the fast food joints, the main drag of town, and of course the favorite make-out places. Diane and Mark had been to all of them when they were dating, but now they were married and they didn't do that kind of thing anymore.

"Why not?"

Diane asked aloud, as if there was someone to hear her. She abruptly turned away from the main street and found herself on a winding gravel road she remembered leading to a local lake. Back in the day this was one of her and Mark's favorite places. Diane smiled when she remembered those awkward days of kissing, touching and more in the back seat and just as things got too hot they would get out and go skinny dipping to "relieve the heat" as Mark called it. As Diane rounded the last bend in the road she killed the headlights of her car. It was a common courtesy that everyone who came there should know. Only the cops didn't turn off their lights, and if you rounded the turn with lights on, teenagers would be scrambling for clothes and pawing at steamy windows to see who it was. No lights and no one even looked up. Diane had the forethought to push the passenger seat back and set it fully upright, so it wouldn't appear she was alone. Diane had put the top up and slid her own seat back as well. She pulled into a spot overlooking the water and the two other cars that were there. It was late, and she was a little surprised anyone was still here. Diane leaned back and stared at the stars through the windshield and became lost in memory for a while.

Fifteen minutes or so had passed when Diane realized how hot she had gotten. As if by habit, when she pulled in she had rolled up the windows. Now, with the hot night and being closed up, the little car was like a sauna. Diane had to get out or leave and she didn't want to leave just yet. She rolled the window down just slightly and noticed there was only one car left. It was an old Buick or something, parked at the far end from her. Steamed up windows and a slight side to side movement indicated the occupants were not coming out anytime soon, so Diane quietly opened the door and stepped out. Diane sneaked down to the other car and listened for a moment. She heard the sounds of young passion. Moans groans and the occasional yelp from a misplaced elbow or pulled hair. Diane walked on down to the waters edge and marveled at the large sandy beach that had been put in since she and Mark had last been there. She remembered watching for band-aids on feet Monday morning at school to see who had been at the lake, stepping on sharp rocks or getting jabbed by thorns as they rushed back to their cars. Diane held her heels in her hand as she strolled along the beach, swirling her toes in the cool water.

Diane glanced back up at the rocking car, and walked into the water up to her knees. Her skirt was in no danger of getting wet, being well above her knees. She loved how the water felt. Walking up onto the beach, Diane spotted a large rock at the edge of the trees. She laid her shoes, skirt and blouse on the rock and walked into the cool water for a quick dip. Diane swam out to shoulder deep water and floated under the half moon and sky full of stars. She checked occasionally and saw the car stop rocking, start up and pull out.

"Will you respect me in the morning?"

Turning over she swam a little farther out and stopped. Treading water for a moment, she turned back towards the beach to get her things and go. Diane was startled by headlights coming up the road.
Oh great!
she thought
Young lovers go home!
Diane swam towards the left side of the pond, to get to her clothes once they got parked. The car made the last turn, but didn't turn off its' lights.
Beginners
she thought as she made her way into waist deep water and paused. The car didn't pull into a parking spot; instead it stayed parallel to the shore, with its lights shining on her car. In the half-moon light, she couldn't believe her eyes. The reflective material of a County Sheriffs logo could plainly be seen.
Oh my God!
she thought in a panic
If they catch me I will never be able to explain this to Mark, it will be in all the papers . . . . his reputation . . . . my reputation.
Diane's mind raced. The officer opened the door to his patrol car, and walked around behind the Mercedes' parked in front of him. He shone his light into the passenger compartment and saw only two melting shakes. This wasn't all that unusual. He understood hormones rage, and kids will be kids. He still had an obligation to the parents of his County to make sure they were doing anything stupid. No drinking, drugs, or other dangerous behavior. It was standard practice to swing through here, scare the kids off, make them think he was going to call their parents and go about his business.
The empty car can only mean one thing
the officer thought. He walked down to the waters edge and shone his flashlight across the open expanse of water. Diane was huddled at the edge of the lake, near some trees, being as still as humanly possible. The Officer could see hardly a ripple. He shrugged and started back up towards his car. Diane breathed a sigh of relief, until he stopped. Something caught his eye. The officer walked over and picked up the clothes lying on the rock. He examined them, scanned the lake with his flashlight once more and strode back up the slight hill to his car. As his lights faded into the darkness, Diane swam to the beach and snuck, like a guilty teenager over to the rock.

"Where are they!? That fat bastard took my clothes!"

Officer Ben Williams stopped at the convenience store to get some coffee, as he passed the trash can beside the door, he tossed a paper bag with Diane's clothes into it.

"That'll teach 'em a lesson." He chuckled as the door closed behind him. Diane found her shoes, but nothing else at the rock. She went back up to her car, opened the trunk. All she found was a small hand towel inside an old overnight bag that was now holding maps and first aid supplies. Diane dried herself as best she could and was very thankful it was not cold or windy. She was just closing the trunk as another set of headlights passed through the night sky. She scrambled to get into the car and get it started. Diane let the car idle, waiting for the new visitor to pull into a spot so she could back up and head out the one lane gravel road. As the vehicle approached the last bend its' lights went out.

"Whew, it's not a cop."

As the new car pulled in she thought she recognized it.

"Who is that?"

Diane searched her memory for a reference. In a moment she knew who it was. The young man was no more than six feet tall. As he stepped out of the SUV, she could see he was not dressed, and neither was his date, though she seemed much more concerned. He was well built, and well hung.
Thank goodness for a bright moon
Diane thought.

Diane could hear the young man admonishing his date to get away from the car.

"No one can see you, it's dark. I dare you!"

It was more than the young lady could take; she tentatively stepped out of the passenger's side and crouched, trying to cover her nudity. The young man however was not as shy. He walked around freely, insisting to his girl friend.

"Even if there was someone in that car up there, they were busy. And besides, you have nothing to be ashamed of!"

He was right, she was a cutie. One hundred pounds or so of youth and beauty, everything firm and well placed. She finally warmed up to the idea and walked out from beside the car, and rushed to the waters edge. Slipping into the lake, she relaxed considerably and began to swim. Diane rolled down the window slightly to hear more of what was going on. A lot of giggling and protesting from the young miss, and a lot of insisting from the young mister, is what she heard. Diane was surprised to hear him tell her a story about seeing this older woman at the burger palace drive through.

"Older? I am not
older
kiddo!"

He went on to say how hot she was, and he got to see her
boobs
. Diane laughed at the comment. She didn't realize how far her voice would carry in this night air. The two skinny dippers hushed. The girl told him to go check it out.

"Check what out? That was some girl laughing at the little dick her boyfriend has, nothing to worry about."

"Please?"

The young lady's tone let the young man know that if he didn't, she would be much less receptive to his advances.

"Ok, fine."

Diane watched the young man walk from the water, shiny and naked, she was impressed. He walked straight up to her car and tapped on the window. Diane rolled it down just far enough to speak, but not to be seen.

"Everything all right in there?"

The young man spoke in a forced deep husky voice.

"Yes."

"You got a problem with me and my girl taking a swim?"

"Not at all."

Diane almost whispered.

"Can I ask a question?"

"Sure."

The naked man said, trying to sound a little tougher and meaner than he actually was.

"What ya wanna know?"

"How old are you?"

"I just turned 21 yesterday. Who are you, the FBI?"

"No, just curious."

Diane wiped away some steam at the bottom of the window and watched his semi-hard member bounced and swayed slightly as he spoke.

"I saw a car a lot like this earlier, it's nice."

The young man turned and walked back towards the water.

Diane couldn't help herself, as he got some ten yards from the car, and was about to step back into the water when she opened the door and got out. Leaning against the car right behind the now mostly closed door, the young man snapped about and looked.

"This is the rest of what you saw earlier stud, not bad for an
older
woman huh?"

Diane opened the door and got back in. Putting the car in gear and pulling away, the look on his face was stuck in her mind. Eyes as big as saucers, and a new spring to his, well, step.

"That girl is about to take the ride of her life"

Diane turned back onto the main road, dropped the top and sped towards the house. She passed a couple of trucks on the way and just waved as they tried to keep up to see more of her. As Diane pulled into the driveway, she grabbed the two melted milkshakes and made her way back inside. Up the stairs, she threw on her robe and slippers, and headed back to where her husband labored over his work. Almost two hours had passed since Diane heard him at the table. She walked in and told him she had stopped on the way home and had taken a walk. Diane added that he didn't need all that sugar anyway before going to bed. Mark agreed and closed his laptop. Mark followed Diane upstairs. They crawled into bed.

"Mark, I have an idea."

"What your idea baby?"

"Tomorrow night, let's go for a ride."

A smile went across her face.

"Sure honey, sounds like fun, any place in particular?"

"I am sure I can come up with some place to go"

Diane snuggled into his side as they fell asleep.

Chapter IV

Mark rushed in to the house.

"DIANE! It's finally over!"

The trial had gone on for close to six weeks. It had been a tortuous time for Mark. Late nights, long meetings and hard days in court had exhausted them both. He had been involved in fighting for some liability claim against a huge manufacturing concern. Mark had explained it involved unsafe practices that endangered the health and safety of their workers and Mark was their champion. Diane had always thought of him as her knight in shining armor and he often stepped into that role as a lawyer. Diane came rushing down the stairs

"And...and?"

"We won!"

Mark exclaimed as Diane wrapped him in a congratulatory hug.

"The guy confessed on the stand! He admitted to everything the company had been doing and even said they were going to accept full financial responsibility! "

"Congratulations! Oh, but that means Charles lost!"

"Not really, the Judge complimented him on the excellent job he had done, and when a client turns south on you, there's really no fault for the lawyer."

They both fell onto the couch and kissed.

"I want to celebrate!"

"Great!"

They needed a night out after what this trial had put them through.

"Should I call Charles and Lia and invite them?"

"Sure, Chuck could use a good night out after today."

Lia picked up the phone and smiled when she heard Diane's voice.

"Yeah he was bummed out when he got home, but he is getting over it now. He is just mad at the bastard he was defending for not coming clean earlier. He said he would get what he deserves now."

Diane went on to explain how she and Mark were going to head out this evening and have some fun and asked if they wanted to come along.

"Actually, Charles and I were thinking the same thing. Why don't you and Mark join us?"

"Do you have something in mind?"

"We were going to head out to a new club Charles read about, it sounds like a fun place."

Lia had a very upbeat tone to her voice

"Is there anything special we should wear or bring?"

"Why don't you wear that button up dress you bought last week?"

Lia suggested they should meet at Donatello's for dinner at seven and they would go from there.  Mark came into the bedroom wearing a white shirt, blue tie and black slacks.

"That won't do! We are going to a new place; wear the blue shirt and the black pants I bought you."

Mark shrugged and walked back into the bathroom. As Diane rustled through the closet, pulling together her outfit for the evening, she came across the three lacey things Mark had bought her some weeks earlier. She hadn't worn them yet, hoping perhaps, Mark was going to ask her to wear them on another
special
night. The trial had kept him so busy they hardly had time to talk, much less anything else.

"Tonight is pretty special."

Diane pulled the shear black one from its hanger. Cup less and trimmed in red she was glad her dress was black so it wouldn't show through. She slipped into it and pulled the dress on over it. The dress had buttons from the hem to the neckline. Slit up the right side to midthigh, Diane thought she looked pretty good in it, and with the undergarment she had chosen, she felt altogether sexy. Diane slipped on hose and snapped the garters onto the tops. She got the dress back in place just as Mark came back into the room. Diane didn't want him to see what she had on, hoping to surprise him with it later when they got home. Mark had done as he was told. The blue shirt and black pants she bought him fit a little tighter than he may have liked, but he could deal with it.
