She lifted his chin in the dark room with her index finger so she could look into his eyes. The sheet gathered at her waist, his eyes lowered to her body. Like he said the most noticeable change next to her belly was her breasts. They were darker and those juicy peaks reminded him of the wild blackberries that grew near the cabin. “Elu?”

“Yes.”

“Did you miss me?” she asked. He groaned, again locking his jaw.
She was making him crazy
.

“Yes.”

Josie smiled. Taking his hands from her waist she placed them to her belly. “Okay.”

She leaned in to kiss him and he turned his face. Josie paused and sat back. “What is it?”

“You need your rest. Lie down, I’ll give you a back rub.”

“I don’t want a back rub. I want a kiss from my husband.”

“Josie.”

“Josie?” her brow arched. He only used her name when he was being stern with her. Most always he called her Leoti. “You don’t find me attractive anymore do you?” her voice broke off and tears began to form. He noticed with her pregnancy came the tears whenever she didn’t get her way.

“Where does this come from? I have never said that.”

“Admit it!” she pouted. She dropped off his lap and moved away from him.

“It is not true.” He reached for her.

“I’ve noticed it. How you don’t touch me, in the night. How you hurry through sex or just try to please me. You think I can’t tell? My ass is spreading, my breasts are sagging, I have stretch marks and my ankles are fat. My nose, oh God, my nose is so big now. I can tell.”

He blinked at her too shocked to speak. If only she knew his torture.

She turned over on her side. “Good night.”

The shock wore off. He turned to his side and came in closer. “Leoti, you’re wrong,” he said softly, his arm went down hers. “I can’t think of your thighs, ass, or breasts. I can’t even let myself go there because I want you so badly.” He pressed his erection into her. “Sometimes at night it gets so bad I leave the bed for fear of overtaking you.”

She looked back. “Fear? Why fear?”

“We must be careful of your strength. I don’t want to stress you.”

She laughed in his face. “Are you serious?”

“Yes.”

“Elu! All your beliefs and knowledge on life and love and you’re scared of sexing your pregnant wife?”

“Don’t make fun of me. I’m not scared; I know you can physically handle it. But comfort is my prime concern. I’m not selfish.” He scowled.

She giggled. “I’m sorry but that’s crazy. I’m hormone crazy. I’m so damn horny sometimes I want to scream and I need you.”

“I just think…”

She turned and gripped his cock so abruptly he winced then expelled a breath through clenched teeth. “I’m your wife. I want it.” She demanded, and then flicked her tongue at his flattened nipple. “All of it.”

“Leoti, remove your hand.”

“Make love to me,” she said against his chest as her tongue traveled up under his chin. “Now.”

He captured her mouth with his and he groaned through the ravishment of her lips. For her part she withstood, even after he cupped her heavy sensitive breast, and rubbed his thumb over her aching nipple. Her stomach was in the way. Thanks to her girth he couldn’t get on top so he turned her away putting her on her side and entering her from her behind. She gasped a soft wisp of air from her lungs, and the heat and tight wetness of her caused a low growl to the back of his throat.

“Mmm, like that…” she moaned. She opened for him, stretched as he worked all of himself inside. And his eyes closed. They crossed behind his closed lids as he pumped in and out of her with a frenzy that could damn any man if he weren’t careful. And all she did was giggle through it. His hand slipped down her belly to the V of her pussy and went between. He found her engorged clit and stroked it as he pumped harder, faster, stronger, and stronger. The contractions in his cock had him damn near growling. So intense he dropped his head and bit into her shoulder. He couldn’t help it. She cried out in pleasure and hopefully a small measure of pain as he joined with her in ways he’d wanted to for days.

The rapture was so intense he felt the blood surging through his veins in a rush to his dick and the muscles in his pelvis, and along his lower back constricted. For her part she worked her perfectly shaped ass, larger but softer, against him and made his balls tighten. She cried out as they both slipped into the puddle of ecstasy that was so complete.

Elu panted exhausted behind her and she lay perfectly still.
Too still
. His eyes popped open, he stared at the back of her head. “Leoti?”

“I’m mad at you,” she said softly.

“Did I hurt you?”

“Yes?” was her reply.

He withdrew and pulled her over. She smiled. “Don’t you ever make me wait that long again,” she teased. Elu gave a soft groan of frustration at how she’d played him. His heart slowed to a manageable beat. “You make me crazy woman.”

She turned into his arms. “What will you do with me home all the time?” she asked holding him.

Three Years Later

Josie turned off the road. The groceries were on the passenger seat, and Po was riding shotgun in the back of the truck. Like a child he followed her everywhere. Elu taught her how to drive a stick-shift and she found it much better than her overpriced gas guzzler. Plus she loved driving his truck. It smelled of him. Arriving at the new home he’d finished for them, she parked. When her mother and sister visited they often stayed in the old log cabin to give her and Elu a break. Elu loved her mom. Which was strange. He didn’t mind Madeline’s controlling ways, and actually called her for advice. The two of them were closer than she could have ever hoped for. And Tiffani called her yesterday to announce she was getting married. Her sister had her own architectural firm and was marrying a new sweetheart who used to be a client. Their lives were all for the better.

After their daughter was born, Elu set about building their family a new, bigger home on their land. The land disputes were settled between the tribes and the government two years ago. He acquired more land near a breathtaking view of the mountain, where the sun set. This was truly home.

“Okay, Po, we’re here.” Josie said as she exited the truck. Po barked several times demanding to be set free. “I hear you, baby.” She smiled walking to the back of the truck. She lowered it and he jumped off running for the trees. Josie frowned. The dog was as strange as his master, preferring to whiz on his land and not in town. She chuckled. She collected the two bags of groceries and went to the house. Inside she put them down and listened to the sounds of giggling to the back of their home.

“Wonder what they’re up to.” she said taking out the canned goods for dinner. The giggles peaked her interest. Josie wiped her hands on the dishtowel and followed the sounds. The back of the ranch had been done in nothing but windows from ceiling to floor. The terrace was elevated on the second level and nestled between the trees. Something that Elu and Tiffani designed. It gave the feel of them being right outside with nature.

She stopped at the door.

“Look Daddy! It’s a chicken.”

Elu, next to their daughter, looked up at what his daughter pointed to in the sky beyond the window. “It’s an eagle.” He corrected.

“No, it’s a chicken.” Rayene said in a firm voice.

Elu smiled, so did Josie. Rayene walked over to the rest of the pictures that were scattered, bending over to show them her yellow and pink flowered training panties under her jean skirt. Elu rested back on his haunches watching her with love.

“Hi Mommy,” he said without looking back to acknowledge her. Rayene shot upright. She looked back and ran for her. “Mommy! See, we got pictures, going to paint my room. Daddy said I can pick. I want the chicken. See.” She pulled her along by the hand.

Josie raised a brow to Elu and he looked away. This was the third painting project of Rayene’s room in four months. Each time she dreamed up a new idea Elu signed up for the task.

“Nice baby.”

“I’ma be right back. Don’t go anywhere Mommy.” She took off screaming for Po to go with her.

“Painting the room again?” Josie asked, crossing her arms in front of her.

Elu shrugged. He rose and walked over to her. “She’s beginning to recognize animals, we have to encourage that. She’s really sensitive.”

Josie lifted her arms to his neck and held on. “Is she sensitive or is Daddy a pushover?”

“A little of both.”

They kissed and she hugged him. He rubbed her back keeping her close.

“I had a dream last night.” Elu said holding her.

“Really? And what was this dream?”

Elu smiled. “A son. He’ll be here in eight months.”

Josie laughed. “You think so?”

“Trust me, Leoti, have I ever been wrong?”
