Very well.” Eon said.

Eon walked over to Clara and I and took hold of our hands. I felt my physical body fading as it turned to pure energy. I looked up into space at the anomaly and then back down toward Flag.

If anything else besides us comes through the gateway you must destroy this space station.” I said to Flag. “If we cannot destroy the entity then we must at least slow it down. I won’t forget what you have done Flag. Thank you.”

Flag nodded. I turned to Clara and smiled. I did not know what would be the final outcome, but all that mattered was that we were together. Our bodies became pure energy and streaked out into space. As we entered the anomaly I was fully prepared for whatever would happen in my life, after.

From the Journal of Dr. Henry Flag

As I have reached another cycle I will once again recap my findings. It has been seventy-two years since David, Clara and the life form called Eon entered the gateway. I can only hope that they were successful in destroying the energy devouring entity and are living out their lives in that dimension.

As for me it appears I cannot age unless I physically alter my body. This and lack of need to eat or sleep has allowed me to study this station from head to toe several times. I confirmed that this space station was indeed created by beings other than my own. This structure is made of pure life energy. It resonates with the same frequency as the energy signature emanating from my home planet.

Unfortunately, Erix wiped the stations computer clean of any data not relevant to the Life Stream and opening gateways. Therefore my study has been confined to that. Originally, I gained access to satellite data around my home planet. I was able to learn that a peace treaty was signed between the Alliance and the Federation over sixty years ago. Since then the planet has been at peace.

There has been no data on life energy or gateways that I could find. However, this was not the case in the other worlds I was able to gain access too. I was able to use the stations dish to open small gateways to other dimensions, just large enough to probe for data and life signs. So far I have opened up twelve gateways and have been amazed to find twelve different dimensions that contained life similar to my own.

So far I have learned significant information on six of them. It appears that each dimension is very similar to my own. Each has a single planet with intelligent humanoid life. Each planet also has a core made from life energy. In the previous six, the inhabitants had not reached the technology age, but when I began researching the seventh planet I found something incredible.

The seventh planet has an almost identical history to my own world with only minor differences. Currently their world is in the ending days of a global conflict. However, their Alliance military has discovered a human with awakened life energy. Labeled Patient Alpha, this is the first confirmed case of a living awakened human that I have found, but that was not the most astonishing part.

I intercepted a transmission sent from an unknown source to a Doctor Theed at the Alliance research facility. The voice sounded human and spoke of giving Theed a way to awaken the life energy in all human beings. There was a distinct energy signature that I found in the transmission. It is the same as one I found when I first emerged from the gateway within the Life Stream. This tells me that whoever contacted Theed is not human, at least not a living human.

Theed has agreed to meet the mystery man. This event will take place tomorrow. I have remotely accessed one of their satellites and placed it over the location the voice that told Theed to meet him. This should be an interesting find to say the least. Whatever may happen tomorrow one thing is for certain, on that world The Awakened Project has begun.
