I wasn't sure about it, but I kept sucking. He was so close, and I didn't think the people outside would see anything. We were in the dark, and it was a big parking lot.

But the voices kept getting closer - close enough that I could make out their distinct sounds. They were young, male voices, and more than that, they sounded familiar.

The voices got louder as Asher groaned. He had to hear them, too, but he still wasn't telling me to stop. Without taking my mouth off his dick, I looked up as best as I could. His eyes were squeezed shut in pleasure, and above him, I could see three familiar figures just outside the window getting into the car beside the one we were in.

It was my friends - Ben, Luke, and Mike. I could see them clearly now; it was Mike's car they were getting into, I realized now.

“Asher, I have to stop,” I whispered.

“Don't stop!” he groaned loudly. “Please don't stop!”

“You don't understand,” I said. But the loudness of his voice had already drawn my friends' attention. They were laughing, probably joking to each other about the lucky guy getting some right in the college's parking lot.

“Please, Eden, please! Don't stop!” Asher begged, his hand already on the back of my head. Fur rippled on his stomach and chest, his body hair growing longer and more growing where there wasn't already hair, then going away again.

My friends must have heard him say my name. They must have gotten curious. Because as Asher pulled me down, my mouth automatically opening to take in his dick, they gathered around the window, peering in at me.

My nerdy friends, who knew that I was an innocent virgin, were staring at me with a guy's dick in my mouth.

My eyes wide, I stared back at them as cum shot out of Asher's dick, the first string alone filling my mouth until I nearly choked.

I wrenched myself away from his dick, the salty fluid leaking out of my mouth. “My friends are watching!” I hissed, staring at the three guys just outside the window.

Asher trembled under me. I looked at his face now, and realized that my friends judging me might be the least of our problems.

Asher was still coming.

And his face was already half-bear.

“Change back,” I whispered. “Change back now!”

But it was already too late. He was in bear form now, exploding out of the car door in a frenzy. “Asher!” I yelled. I leaned out of the car door, trying my best to cover my still-naked body.

The bear was outside the car now, and my friends were screaming and running. I watched in horror as they took off in different directions, all of them running to different corners of the parking lot.

“Asher!”

I couldn't tell which of them, if any, the bear was following. Maybe he had just wanted to scare them. But he was chasing them, chasing humans. It wasn't something he would normally do. Normally he would never run off like that without telling me where he was going, either.

The day I first saw him as a bear, he told me that if he ever turned because of a danger, he could lose control of his human side. Was that what had happened?

Was he going to hurt my friends - or himself?

Surely some part of him would know that three nerdy guys didn't actually pose a threat to him or me. His human side would take control of him, and nothing bad would happen. It couldn't happen.

Well, I waited for what felt like hours, putting my clothes back on and napping there in the back of his car as best as I could. It was probably only a few minutes. But Asher didn't come back. My friends didn't, either. Even when the sun had gone down completely and the chill of the night made me need to go home, there was no sign of any of them. Mike's car sat empty and untouched.

I walked home alone in the dark and the cold, and now I'm here, at five am - closer to six, since I've been writing in here for so long - and I don't know what's happened to any of them.

All I can do is cross my fingers and hope that they're all okay.

For the moment, I suppose that there's not much more I can say in here.

Good night, dear Diary. I'll write again as soon as I can.

Three

Dear Diary,

I... I don't know what to say. Where do I start?

I'm so confused, maybe it would be better to just write in here another day.

No, no, I've already got the pen in my hand and you, dear Diary, open in my lap. There's only a day's worth of events to tell you about, after all. I can handle that much - even if it has been one extremely insane day!

After finishing my last entry, I was up for a while longer. It was late, but I just couldn't bring myself to sleep. I sat and thought, hoping that Ben, Luke, and Mike - and Asher - were all okay.

And I read my psychology textbooks, flipping through the pages to find my favorite readings, and scanning for new ones that might have some wisdom to offer in the somewhat unique situation I found myself in. There's nothing in there about what to do or how to feel when your werebear boyfriend runs off chasing your three best friends, in case you were wondering.

Around dawn, I drifted off to sleep, and when I woke up I had already missed class for the day. It was only the second class I've missed this semester, so I'm sure I'll be able to catch up.

I changed my clothes and walked to campus. I wanted to see the parking lot again with my own eyes. It was the place where I had received oral sex for the first time in my life - and where I had had by far the best orgasm in the admittedly short time I've been having orgasms - but I tried to keep my mind off that, even though a twinge went through my clit every time I thought about it. That wasn't the reason why I was going back there.

The parking lot was more crowded now, filled with students coming and going. As I walked through the long aisles of cars, there didn't seem to be a single space left. The other cars made no difference to me, though - there were only two cars that I was looking for.

Asher had parked at the edge of the parking lot. It took me a few minutes to get there. The happy chattering of the other undergrads around me seemed totally out of place. How could they be chit-chatting about nothing, leading their normal lives? My friends were missing, and my boyfriend might have hurt them.

Finally the edge of the parking lot was in my line of sight. For a moment, I froze as I took in the two cars that were still there, parked from the night before. Asher's blue car and Mike's white one - both with fresh tickets lying under their windshield wipers.

The guys hadn't come back. None of them had come back.

I walked closer, tears springing up behind my eyes as I inspected the cars. Of course there were no clues, no evidence. What would there be? I had been right there when everything had happened.

In fact, it had pretty much been my fault.

Asher's shirt still lay there in the back seat where I had dropped it on the car floor after taking it off him. I had been so happy, so aroused when I had finally touched his smooth skin, rubbed myself against his hairy body, and felt the hidden strength under his powerful muscles. Those same muscles had propelled him, as a bear, to chase after my friends, and who knew where they were now?

What was I supposed to do? What could I do? I couldn't go to the police; my story would seem completely ridiculous. Tell a prof? They would send me to a therapist.

No, I was going to have to figure this thing out myself. I walked around the car again, taking everything in. I didn't know why I was bothering. It was so pointless - there was nothing I didn't already know about.

And then I noticed the key that Asher had left stuck in the ignition. I stopped and stared. He hadn't taken it out? I had assumed he had, but why would he have? There had been no reason to; we hadn't been going anywhere, and he had probably figured it would be easier to just leave it there.

Had I locked the doors after leaving the car the night before? I tested the driver's side door to find out. It opened without protest.

Stopping again, I bit my lip. I didn't know what I was planning to do. Take Asher's car and drive it somewhere? I have my license, but I don't really drive - I learned to as a teenager when I was still living with my parents, but like I told you before, I'm not really a teenager anymore. I'm nineteen, and I've pretty much forgotten how to drive.

But desperate times call for desperate measures. I was sure that I could remember how to operate a car if I really needed to, and right then I really did. The only question was where I was planning to go.

Wherever Asher had gone, that was where I had to go. If he still wasn't back yet, he had to be in bear mode now.

I had to think like a bear.

The only place he wanted to go when he turned was the same place he had taken me to when he had first shown me his other form. The forest outside of town - the one that was nearly impossible to find, the one with the clearing where he had first lapped at my hand.

Looking around nervously, I grabbed the ticket from the windshield and slipped behind the wheel of the car. I must have looked suspicious with an attitude like that, but no one seemed to be looking at me twice. They were all just busy with their own lives.

I turned on the ignition, then realized I could barely touch the pedals and couldn't see anything in the rearview mirror. Right, Asher was so much taller than me, I was going to have to readjust everything. I fumbled for the controls, finally getting the seat to move forward and the mirror positioned so that I could see out of it. I drove hesitantly out of the parking spot and turned out of the parking lot, immediately getting honked at by a car I hadn't seen in the lane I was trying to turn into.

Driving ended up coming back to me easily enough; it's like riding a bike, I suppose. After a few minutes on the road, I was even nearly at the speed limit. I should have been putting the pedal to the metal like a drag racer in my quest to find Asher and my friends, but my lack of confidence stopped me just as much of my fear of what I would find when I reached my destination.

I remembered the route out of town that Asher had taken, but the turn onto that tiny gravel road was proving to be impossible to find. I knew I had passed it after the trees of the forest thinned and eventually receded completely, turning into more farmland. How had I managed to pass it? I did a U-turn on the empty road and drove back, looking carefully at both sides of the road. When I reached the place I had turned onto this road at, I swore at nobody and made another U-turn.

Despite the chill of November outside, I was starting to sweat in the car. I rolled the window down an inch and breathed in the cool, refreshing air that hit my face. I ignored another car's honk - I was going too slow for him, I'm sure - but my ears perked up when I heard what sounded like a voice.

To be precise, it sounded like a scream.

There it was, the road into the woods! It was on the right side, more of a path than a road, and so tiny that it was no surprise that I hadn't seen it on my two previous passes. I swung around the bend, breathing fast. It was possible that I was already too late.

Now that I knew where I was going, it only took a few minutes for me to find my way to the clearing where the bear circled around my three friends, its teeth bared.

I brought Asher's car to a screeching stop. “Asher!” I yelled.

The guys, huddled together with their backs to a tree, stared at me as if I was some sort of hallucination. “Eden?” one asked.

Ignoring them, I yelled at the bear again. “Asher! What are you doing?”

“Eden, get out of here!” Luke called. “It's a wild animal.”

The bear paced around them, its ears drawn back. I had never seen Asher in this condition before. When he was in his bear state, he usually acted more like a teddy bear - playful and obedient, with his sharp teeth hidden away in his mouth. Never before had he had this predatory expression in his gentle brown eyes, or taken the hostile posture of a hunter seeking its prey.

Luke was right, although he didn't know the full story. Asher was a wild animal.

It was time to give up Asher's secret - he might hate me for it later, but I didn't see much of a choice. “It's not just any bear,” I said as calmly as I could as I walked towards them. “It's Asher.”

“Are you crazy?” Ben asked, clinging to the tree. “It's a bear. What are you saying, you're dating some kind of a werewolf?”

“Yes, actually. That is what I'm saying. Not a wolf, though, but a werebear.” I stepped closer slowly, not wanting to make any sudden movements and scare the animal Asher had become. “Normally he can control himself, but you guys scared him...”

“Werebears don't exist, Eden! I don't know how you found us here, but go home. There's no reason for four people to get hurt instead of three.” Mike was the one telling me to leave this time. I almost smiled, appreciating my friends' concern for me. They weren't going to believe me, I could tell. I probably wouldn't have either, in their situation!

It would be no use explaining to them that I couldn't just go home - that I was in fact the only one who could help them.

“Just stay quiet, okay? Don't move a muscle,” I told them. The expressions on their faces didn't give me any confidence. “Just trust me!” I wanted to get the full story from them - had they been standing there all night, being circled by the bear? But that could wait. There were more urgent matters at hand.

I approached, nearly up to the outside of the circle the bear was pacing. It was almost close enough to touch, and I tried speaking to it again in a low tone. “Asher, it's me. Eden. I'm here.”

The bear's head turned, its keen brown eyes landing on me. For a moment, I thought I had gotten through to it - that the sweet, gentle human guy inside the bear had heard me and had taken notice.

Then the bear's lips drew back. It bared its fangs, snapping at me viciously.

I screamed and ran forward, taking my place by the tree beside my friends. It wouldn't be that easy to tame Asher.

“What are you doing?” Ben demanded.

“Just wait, you guys. Just wait. It's Asher,” I choked out. “He's going to come back to me. Just wait and see.”

The bear paced around us, its stare as cold when it looked at me as it was when it looked at my friends. Was Asher even really inside there? The animal seemed so truly wild, I almost started to think Asher had turned back and gone home and that this was another bear, a real bear, in his place. There was no humanity in the animal that stood before me.

“Asher,” I said. I had to reason with it somehow. “Asher, listen. This isn't you. You're a person, not a bear.”

“Eden, whatever you're doing, it's not working,” Luke muttered.

I ignored him, continuing to address the wild bear. “It's me, your girlfriend. You don't want to hurt me. You don't want to hurt my friends.” I paused, on the verge of tears. “Don't you know me at all?”

My words had no effect. Next to me, the guys were nearly whimpering.

“You know me, Asher. I pet you. I cuddle with you. Don't you remember my scent?” I reached out to the animal, then recoiled as it snapped at me again.

But after its initial reaction, it sniffed again. Seeming to do some sort of bearish double take, it nosed at my hand until I reached out again. It smelled me, looking up at me with its big brown eyes.

Something was getting through to it.

“It's me, Asher, it's me.” My voice was choked up, but I continued to speak. My friends had gone silent, staring at me. “You know my hands, you know my smell. I've petted you before when you were a bear, and I've done other things with you when you were a man.”

I glanced at the guys beside me, unsure of what reaction they would have to the innuendo. But in their state of fear, they didn't seem to have noticed anything particular about what I had said. “You've felt these hands all over your body,” I told the bear. “Your back, your chest...” I lowered my voice. “Your cock.”

The bear's pink tongue came out, licking timidly at my hand. “That's right, Asher! You can lick me. You remember doing that last night, don't you?” My clit twinged as I remembered his human tongue on a different part of my body. “You licked me all over. Not just there.”
