He smiled.

She couldn’t ever remember him smiling before. She hadn’t
been aware that his face was configured to do it. That her father had had the
foresight, the kindness, to make it possible for Blue to do such a simple,
profound thing. Or was it something he’d learned to do himself?

A wave of something swept through her. It was sad and
yearning and wistful and excited all at once.

She didn’t know what to call it.

“Finish up,” he reminded her softly.

She bent her attention to the task. Slowly and carefully
making the links and the networks. When she finished, she sat back and watched
him as he completed the job. Then he smoothed the skin back into the proper
contour so it blended with his body and used a small tool to join together the
edges seamlessly.

“It’s done,” she said.

“It’s done.” As she watched, his brand-new, beautiful,
perfect cock subsided from proud erectness to soft potential. Even flaccid, it
was impressive. Much more so than anything by Michelangelo. It swelled again to
a full erection and then slowly softened. “The hydraulics seem to be in order.”

Blue swung his legs over the side of the workbench and stood
on the floor. He surveyed himself, how his body looked with its new addition.
How the soft member swayed to gravity’s pull, how the testicles lay underneath.

“It looks wonderful,” Cally said.

“I agree. I hope it works.”

“Let’s test it out.”

Cally reached for her new toy but to her surprise, Blue
backed away, out of her reach.

“It’s late,” he said. “You are tired.”

“I’m not. How could I be tired? I’ve been looking forward to
this for weeks.”

“It’s four in the morning.”

“Is it?” she said with surprise.

“You are due to go to work tomorrow.”

“I’ll call in sick.”

“No you won’t.”

“Blue,” said Cally, amused, “are you ordering me around?”

“Perhaps I know that anticipation is the most powerful
aspect of desire and that delay fuels anticipation.”

She smiled. “Perhaps you’re bossy.” But she couldn’t help
it. She yawned. She’d been concentrating very hard and now that he’d said how
late it was, she felt it.

Blue stepped forward and scooped her up in his arms before
she could protest. “If you won’t go to bed, I will take you.”

“Ooh, manly.”

“You’re very argumentative. It’s my only path of action.”

He kicked open the door and carried her effortlessly down
the corridor and up the several flights of stairs. She put her arms around his
neck and rested her head on his shoulder. “I think it’s because you’ve got
balls now. Not that I’m complaining.”

Blue entered her room and strode to the bed.

“Hey, I need to brush my teeth.”

“You need to go to sleep.”

“Not going to. Want to stay awake.”

“You force me to remain here with you to ensure you do not
get up.” Blue pulled back the covers, placed her in the bed and got in next to
her.

“You don’t ever need to rest. It’s not fair.” But she yawned
again. “Stupid human body. I don’t want to be tired.”

“I promise you, Cally. I will be here in this bed, waiting
for you, when you return from work tomorrow. And if you like, we will never
leave it for the entire weekend.”

“That sounds good. Though I do have a few ideas about the
rug in front of the fireplace and the shower. You’re waterproof, right?”

“Go to sleep.”

She nestled against him and he put his arms around her. He
was warm and smooth and she could feel his quiescent penis as a tempting
presence against her thigh. “Only if you stay here with me all night.”

“Agreed.” He pulled up the blankets over both of them,
tucking them in around her body.

“You won’t sleep. You don’t.”

“I will hold you.”

Cally nodded and gave in. This was nice, with the weight and
breadth of him, the reality of him here for her to curl around. The soft,
soothing whirring inside his chest. She closed her eyes.

But there was one thing, something that swam up in her tired
brain, a memory of another heavy, satisfied sleep. Something that had stayed
with her and caused her a ripple of unease ever since.

“Blue,” she murmured. “The first night, the first time you
touched me. You put me to bed and as you left, you said something. ‘Good night,
love’.”

“I recall.” His voice was honey, soothing.

“Why did you say that?”

He stroked the length of her hair, toyed with the curls at
the ends and then stroked again.

“I remembered it as a human saying,” he said. “I thought it
would comfort you.”

A human saying, to comfort her. Nothing more. It made sense.

She breathed in deep. She was used to his scent now though
it was so subtle it was hardly detectible unless you were up close to him,
surrounded by him. It was warm. It was safe. She kissed him once on the chest
and she sank into it.

Chapter Nine

Cally had a very difficult time concentrating at work the
next day. She even drifted off partway through a team interview with a
candidate, which was not a good thing, even though she’d determined the
candidate wasn’t suitable for the job within five minutes of his entering the
room.

It wasn’t the lack of sleep—she was used to coming in to
work tired from a very late night. As long as she had a continuous supply of
black coffee, she was fine. No, it was because she couldn’t stop thinking of
Blue.

He’d been with her when she woke up this morning and it was
the first time that had happened. It was nice. He talked with her as she got
dressed and he sent her out the door with a travel mug of coffee. She wasn’t
used to waking up with someone—usually she tried her best to get rid of her
lovers before she went to sleep. Why would she want someone seeing her with bed
hair, smeared mascara and bad breath?

But with Blue, she didn’t mind. Despite the fact that he
never had bad breath and he had no hair himself to get messed up. She wasn’t
sure if he’d powered off last night or if he’d stayed awake, holding her the entire
three hours or whatever while she’d slept.

She liked both of those thoughts, actually.

And of course she really liked thinking about what she and
Blue were going to do tonight after she got home from work. She thought of
sucking that lovely, hard, brand-new cock into her mouth. Of running her hands
up and down his length and over his balls. Of opening her legs so Blue could
slide it into her and fuck her silly, over and over and over again.

And best of all, he’d enjoy it too. It was going to be his
first proper sexual experience, the moment where he lost his virginity. Cally
intended to make sure everything about it would blow his carefully constructed,
hyperintelligent mind.

She hoped his orgasms didn’t also fry his circuits.

I wonder if I should stop off and buy a new set of
lingerie on the way home
, she thought, fiddling with a pencil on her desk.
With most men it would be a no-brainer but what about with Blue? Did he like
that sort of stuff? Did he even care what she looked like? What was he doing right
this minute? Working, studying, fantasizing, planning…

“Hey, Cally, are you coming out for a drink after work?” The
new guy, Dale, was leaning over her desk. When he’d started several months ago,
she’d clocked his dimples, his gym-honed muscles and his flawless dark skin and
decided he was definitely going on her list of men to get to know much, much
better.

“I don’t think so,” she said. “I’ve got plans.”

“Come on, just one beer.” Dale grinned, showing off those
dimples. He hooked a chair with his foot and pulled it over next to her. “I’ve
heard one or two things about you.”

“I don’t talk about my family.”

“I’m not interested in your family, I’m interested in you. I
think we have a lot in common.”

She spun her pencil in irritation. Couldn’t the man see she
had some serious fantasies to be paying attention to and she couldn’t be doing
with his crude come-ons? “I don’t think that’s likely.”

When he leaned his forearms on her desk, his muscles bulged.
He lowered his voice. “I heard you’ve got lots of stamina, very few inhibitions
and you don’t let your fun get in the way of your work life.”

“So?”

“That describes me too. Man, you’re gorgeous.” His gaze
dropped to her breasts and then lower to her legs, which were bare despite the
weather. His tongue moistened his lips. “We can skip the drink, if you want.”

“Good idea. We’ll skip the drink. And I’m not interested and
I really have plans, okay? So you can try out your stamina on some other lucky
lady.” She pushed her chair back, stood and walked off. Despite her brush-off,
she could still feel him watching her ass.

God. What a dork. Expecting her to fall for some bulging
muscles and a few suggestive lines.

Halfway down the corridor, Cally paused. Actually, bulging
muscles and suggestive lines used to do it for her just fine. A month or two
ago, she probably would’ve grabbed Dale by the tie and pulled him into the
ladies’ for a breathless, pounding fifteen minutes, to check that his
inhibitions were as few as he’d said they were. Regardless of whether she’d had
another date tonight or not.

But that was before she’d hooked up with Blue.

She checked her watch. It was four thirty. Even with the
stop at the lingerie boutique, she could be home by half past five. But Blue
would be annoyed with her—she’d promised him before she’d left this morning not
to slope off work early for his sake.

It wasn’t only for his sake. She was going crazy here,
wanting him.

Fuck it. Blue might think anticipation was good for you,
that she needed to hang around work even when she’d finished everything she
needed to do for the day, but she disagreed and he was going to have to deal
with it.

* * * * *

Her roadster had rarely gone any faster and it wasn’t even
quarter past five when Cally screeched up in front of the house. The snow was
melting, water was dripping off the eaves of the house and puddling on the
driveway. But she couldn’t tell whether it was actually warmer today or not, as
her personal body temperature seemed to be about two hundred degrees. She ran
in the door and up the stairs as fast as her high heels would take her.

“Blue!” she cried as she slammed her bedroom door open, and
there he was. Lying on her neatly made bed, which hadn’t been neatly made when
she left this morning.

His dick was already hard.

“Have you been lying on that bed waiting for me all day?”
she asked, shutting the door behind her and dropping her bags on the floor. She
didn’t intend to open the door again until she was fully, totally satisfied.
She had a pack of peanut butter crackers in her bag if she got hungry but she
didn’t think she’d need them.

“Yes,” he said and then he immediately shook his head. “No.
I haven’t been able to keep still.”

“Did you walk around the house? What did everyone think of—”
She tried to imagine what Ilsa would say at the sight of Blue’s tackle and
winced.

“I wore a towel. I have only been to the library.”

“I thought you’d read everything in the library already.”
She got closer to the bed. My God, he was gorgeous. His new cock was big but it
was in proportion to the rest of him. His broad shoulders, strong chest,
powerful legs, big hands and feet.

“There are a few books I haven’t read. But I could not
concentrate.”

“For a robot, that’s bad.”

“It’s a novel sensation. I quite enjoy it.” He reached for
her. “You left work early.”

“I couldn’t concentrate either.” She took his hand but she
didn’t get on the bed with him. She’d expected to tear her clothes off and hurl
herself onto him the minute she got home but now that she’d suffered nearly a
full day of anticipation, she reckoned she could bear a little more of it. Just
so she could appreciate him.

He’d look sexy in a towel. Maybe she’d ask him to put it
back on…later.

“I did stop off on the way and pick up a little something to
wear,” she said.

“I hope it is a very little something and that you aren’t
planning to wear it for very long.”

“Now there’s a good come-on line.”

“As you keep saying, I have a brain the size of a planet and
I haven’t been able to think about much else.” He let go of her. “Show me.”

Cally decided to keep her shoes on. Slowly, she unbuttoned
her blouse and let it fall open and slither down her arms to reveal the gold
satin bra she’d bought because she’d thought it would look good next to Blue’s
skin when he took it off her. She had thought it fit her when she tried it on
but now it felt too tight to contain her breasts, swollen from desire. She ran
her palms over it, to feel her own nipples straining against the material, to
help her imagine what it would feel like when Blue touched her.

Blue didn’t say anything. He looked at her and didn’t move,
his eyes glowing and his dick practically pointing to heaven, so she unzipped
her skirt. It fell to the floor and she stepped out of it, wearing only the
bra, matching tiny panties and her high patent-leather pumps. Right about now,
most of the men she knew would be lunging off the bed, their tongues
practically hanging out.

Blue still didn’t say anything. He didn’t move.

“You don’t care about lingerie, do you?” she asked, a little
bit disappointed. She could have been home ten minutes earlier.

“You are the most beautiful sight I have ever encountered,”
said Blue. His voice was hushed and deep and sincere.

“What about Michelangelo?”

“Did you choose these clothes to please me?”

“Yes.”

“Then I don’t care about Michelangelo.” In a single, smooth
movement, he swung off the bed and stood before her. He took her face gently
between his palms, tilted up her head and kissed her.

It was as if an electric spark zapped from his mouth to
hers. Probably it did. Blue had never kissed her before, not on the mouth. Not
even during all the sex play they’d done. She’d assumed he wasn’t built for it.

But oh, he was. His lips were warm and the right combination
of firm and soft. They pressed against hers so excitingly, so tantalizingly,
tasting her. Not a full-out tongue-fest like a sex-starved man—this was tender
and yet urgent. His mouth explored hers, moving in sips and caresses, light
touches of his lips and tongue. The hot tip of his erection rested against her
belly. Cally moaned and touched his mouth with her tongue.

Another electric shock. Light, tingling, delicious.

“You’ve been practicing this,” she gasped in between kisses.

“For days,” agreed Blue. “I’m sorry that my mouth isn’t
precisely human, though the construction is similar. My voice is produced by—”

“I know what your voice is produced by. Don’t you dare
apologize.” She delicately licked the side of his generous mouth. Another
little zing. “I’ve never felt anything like that before.”

“Neither have I.”

And then he was back to kissing her. Cally wondered
fleetingly what he’d been studying to learn this—romantic films, maybe? Because
Blue was tender and passionate, strong and earnest.

And there was the zing. You couldn’t get the zing from a
film.

“What did you practice on?” she muttered roughly against his
lips.
Not Red, please. Or Green.

Or another human.

“A grapefruit, mostly.”

She giggled. The movement brushed her sensitive nipples
against his chest and made his erection press even closer to her so she could
feel its full length against her belly.

“I don’t think a grapefruit can do this,” she said and
dropped to her knees in front of him.

Oh yes. There he was, close up in all his beautiful blue
maleness. She’d examined his cock before but then it had been diagrams, a work
in progress, an object. This, now—this was Blue. Wired to his brain, sealed
inside his skin, part of his body and his desire.

She let her eyes feast on him. His rod pointed upward with a
slight curve to it, the right angle so he’d bump the top of her mouth and
against her throat, so he’d press all the best parts inside her when he fucked
her. It was thick and long, slightly wider at the bottom, and the thick veins
running up the sides looked human but she knew they were part of the mechanism
that made his cock erect. The head of his cock flared out in a plump knob and
the skin darkened there too because of the higher percentage of sensory cells.
Right at the tip was where he was most sensitive. That was where she was going
to drive him crazy.

First, though, she took his balls and rolled them in her
palm, squeezing slightly. They were cooler than his cock would be, cooler than
his mouth had been, firm and round.

“Cally,” she heard him say and she glanced up to see Blue
looking down at her. His eyes were brighter, his mouth slack with pleasure.

“Blue,” she said to him, “get ready. I am going to suck your
dick so hard you’re going to feel like your entire neural processor is coming
out the end of it.”

He paused as if to let this concept sink in. When he
answered, his voice was slightly breathless, which was something, because he
didn’t precisely have any breath.

“Okay,” he said.

Cally started with his balls. She licked around his hairless
sac, tracing the contours of him. She slipped one of his balls into her mouth
and gently sucked at it.

“That is…very interesting,” said Blue.

She sucked his other testicle, letting her teeth lightly
graze against it. Blue’s hands came down and settled in her hair, not guiding
her but caressing. Sucking, kissing and nibbling, Cally wondered whether Blue
was going to be a talker or a moaner. She didn’t know so many things about him,
she reflected, licking up the soft seam running between his balls. She supposed
Blue didn’t really know either.

They were going to enjoy finding everything out.

“Incredible,” said Blue. “Thank you.”

Cally let her tongue travel from his testicles to the base
of his cock. Slowly, she licked around it where it joined his body, feeling the
contrast of textures, the way the length of him bobbed against the side of her
face.

“You’re so polite,” she said, wetting a finger in her mouth
and letting it trail up and down the base of his dick, only an inch or so. Up
and down, teasing. “You can order me around, Blue. You can tell me exactly what
you want me to do. I want to know. It turns me on.”

“I’m not sure what I want. This is an entirely new
experience.”

“Do you like this?” She put her hand loosely around his
girth, still at the base of his penis, so his length jutted out from her fist.

“Yes, I like that.”

“Do you want me to squeeze your dick, Blue?”
