Katharine and Orville's mother. She died in 1889, leaving fifteen-year-old Katharine to take her place in the family.

Wilbur Wright
Katharine's beloved “Ullam,” who was coinventor of the flying machine with Orville and died in 1912 of typhoid fever. It was in the “blue room” intended for Wilbur at Hawthorn Hill that Katharine and Harry secretly made love.
