S
amuel tossed and turned in bed. He had a lot of things on his mind. The most obvious being Boris. He thought his time was up when he saw Boris following him down the street on the night of the fire. He’d run for a year and nothing had really changed. Boris was still controlling him, making him do things which he didn’t want to do. He couldn’t go where he wanted, meet people or settle down.

When Boris and another goon found him in the warehouse, he’d thought they would take him away again, but they had an even crueler plan in mind. The fire was already spreading while Boris laughed at him, throwing him in the cell-like room and slamming the door behind him.

He could hear them talking, he understood some Russian, and caught this was his punishment. They didn’t need him for sex anymore, he was too old. They just wanted rid of him, and they couldn’t trust he’d stay put.

Samuel waited until they left, then tried the door, kicked it, threw himself at it. Nothing would budge it. He thought his life was over until Daniel appeared.

Now his worst fears were happening. They were looking for Boris. They knew him. If Milo did find them, they wouldn’t just go down without a fight, and that would put all three of their lives in danger.

A year ago, when he’d stumbled out of a club, high as a kite, with no plan in his head other than walking, he’d managed to slip from their grasp. It wasn’t planned, he’d long since given up thinking about leaving, and that’s why he got away. They didn’t think he would do it. Samuel passed out on the street, and woke up in the hospital. The police were called the next day and he ran.

Awake and needing his next fix of the heroin he was hooked on, he found his way into the path of Claudia. He had no idea who she was, only that she was going to help him, and she did. For the first month he lived in a blur, only seeing her face and hearing her soft words while he went through the agonizing pain of withdrawals.

He went insane the first week, the methadone hardly taking the edge off the pain. She never gave up on him, not even when he shouted and swore at her, not even when he begged to go back to Boris.

It wasn’t until he sat up in bed one morning, a month later, with a clear head for the first time in two years that he looked back and saw what he’d done. He had a whole year to think about those dark days, and no matter what, anything was better than living with them. For five months he lived with his friendly nurse. She was an older lady, one who understood his pain and how important it was to keep him secure. She’d asked about the police, but right then, all Samuel wanted was to move on. He had no idea they would come after him. He should have known better.

He’d lost a part of himself in those two years, gone through so much. So much he couldn’t look back on them sometimes, couldn’t recall everything he had experienced when he first got clean. The first few months after he’d been taken were the hardest, and it didn’t ease up until the drugs were forced into his system. After that, after they’d hooked him, well, he would have done anything for another fix. And he did do anything.

He gave himself to men, did anything they asked. He blamed himself at night after he was coming down from the heroin, blamed himself for being weak, convinced himself it hadn’t been rape—he’d wanted it in exchange for the drugs. With a clear mind, he thought differently. Every time he’d been with someone it hadn’t been his choice. Now it was different, he was free and able to choose his partners.

Samuel sat up in bed, biting his fingernails and thinking about what, or rather who, he wanted. He wanted Daniel, and just yesterday he imagined they would be together. That Daniel would love him and be with him. But now…

Samuel sighed thinking about Milo. He liked him, he didn’t feel as secure with him as Daniel, but he didn’t know him as much. He didn’t feel angry at them, he just felt sad.

He wasn’t a mindless child. He knew Daniel worried about his state of mind, and if Samuel was honest with himself, he would agree with him. He wasn’t stable or normal, he wasn’t himself, he didn’t even know who he was sometimes. Not because he was confused, but because he had never been given the chance to find out who he was. Like picking the clothes, he had no idea what to do.

He knew it would take time to become the person he should be, but he had two men here who were willing to help him. Despite their own issues, they were offering him a life line, one he was still afraid to keep clinging onto, but one he wanted to keep hold of.

He’d thought for a long time about his sexuality. He’d been with both men and women. Most times he would be given a drug to get him hard. Sometimes he would have sex with the women, sometimes they would want him hard just to suck him off. The women were nicer than the men. Softer touches, more kissing. They didn’t hurt him. Sometimes he would even orgasm with them.

He couldn’t think of one man who touched him which didn’t hurt. They were always rough, always too eager to fuck him. He never came with them. So why did he feel attracted to Daniel so much, why not a woman?

He’d studied the women in the films tonight, thinking about their bodies, trying to find something he was attracted to. They were beautiful, he liked their hair, their lips, how they moved. Sexually, there was nothing there, but when he would turn to see Milo’s thick thighs and muscular body spread out on the sofa, the dark hair covering him, and the quiet strength he carried, he reacted to him. And Daniel, everything about him called to Samuel. His eyes, his lips, the way he smelled. His build was like Milo’s, but he was a little shorter and leaner, he has less hair and a calmer feeling around him, but Samuel would breathe faster every time he saw him.

Maybe he would react to a woman if he met the right one. He didn’t have to be with one or the other. He trusted these men. He felt connected to them, safe and part of their lives.

Samuel got out of bed, his head buzzing, and made his way downstairs for a drink of milk then sneaked back up to use to the bathroom. It was while he was peeing he heard a soft moan come from Daniel’s room and his body heated up with the realisation he was having sex with Milo.

He didn’t want them to know he was awake and listening to them, so he tiptoed out of the room, barely breathing as he made his way down the corridor. He froze when he saw their door was partially open. He wanted to run back into the bathroom and wait, but wouldn’t they want to use it afterwards? How embarrassed would he be faced with one of them naked?

Samuel held his hand over his chest, feeling his heart pound against his palm, then he took a step forwards. The deep rumble he heard could only come from Milo. He’d never really thought of the sounds during sex as alluring, they were only grunts and instructions which filled his ears as he was taken, but the sounds Daniel made tempted him to stay and listen. He couldn’t move from the spot, too caught up in the sounds coming from the room. He could hear them panting, both of them moving on the bed, the swaying of their bodies causing the bedsprings to groan under them. He found himself thinking what position they were in, what they were doing, and his mind was suddenly full of too many sexual images.

Samuel was so caught up in their moaning, he didn’t even realise he’d walked closer. The temptation to see them was too strong, and he was pulled to the small crack in the door. A barely there light was on in the room, and Samuel knew it would allow him a quick glimpse of their bodies. His hand shook as he pressed it against the wall, holding himself up and leaning his head against the doorframe.

He found the bed, barely in his vision, and then he saw Milo’s dark skin shining in the soft light. His back was strong and broad, dark hair falling over the top of his shoulders. It took his breath away when his eyes dropped lower, not only seeing the firm arse thrusting forwards, but Daniel laid beneath him, legs spread wide, heels digging into the mattress as Milo held them open, giving him harder thrusts each time he entered him.

Samuel’s cock stiffened at the sight, something which hadn’t happened in months. Only in the briefest times when his eyes first opened in the morning did he notice it still worked. He wanted to reach for it, to feel his cock sliding in his hand as he watched the erotic scene in front of him, but he was paralysed, barely breathing, too frightened to move in case one of them saw him spying on them.

Everything sane inside him told him to move, but he couldn’t, and he did the stupid thing of pushing the door open another inch so he could see all of Daniel. When he caught sight of Daniel’s naked body spread out on the bed, his cock leapt up—the sweatpants he had on too loose to stop it from rising. He moaned with Daniel as his body shook, his legs lifting around Milo’s hips, his voice shaky and breathless as he whispered Milo’s name.

He could feel the tension rising, the air becoming thicker. Milo’s deep moans were louder as he hit Daniel harder.

“Milo.”

“I know, Baby. Get on your knees for me so I can make you come.”

Samuel stepped back, letting them shift around on the bed. The sight of both of their cocks standing erect made his own leak and pulse in his pants. Milo was stroking them both. His big hand wrapped around Daniel’s cock made Samuel grab his own. He’d never wanted something so bad before.

He watched as Daniel shifted to the edge of the bed, Milo standing up behind him and positioning his cock at his arse. The long moan they both released surprised and excited Samuel. He’d never enjoyed being taken that way, but the look on Daniel’s face as Milo entered him was so sexy, so full of lust and relief.

“Fuck me, please.” Daniel was so hard, cock swinging in between his legs, balls so big and full. He gripped the bed sheet as Milo slammed into him, their bodies moving as one as they both rocked into the other. Milo held Daniel’s hips firmly, keeping his cock buried inside him, ramming into him harder than ever.

“That’s it, Danny. Come for me.”

Samuel’s eyes flew to Daniel’s cock just in time to see it shoot over the bed. Then he found his face. When he saw the look on it as he came, Samuel’s knees almost gave way. He wanted that, wanted to come like Daniel just did. He gripped his cock tighter, his breath coming almost as fast as theirs was, and he quickly rushed into his own room, his pants discarded, cock hard and wet in his hand as he pulled it. He barely gave himself a few strokes and he was spilling over his fist, biting his lip as he came, both of their names trying to work their way out of his mouth.

He leaned forward, breathing hard, still working his length in his fist as he replayed the sexy scene over and over in his mind. It wasn’t long before he was hard again and crawling onto the bed, opening his legs and lifting his hips, his cum making his hand so slippery and wet as he fucked it. Hiding his face in the pillow, he added his second hand, thrusting them up and down his cock.

He felt them near him, their mouths, their hands, heard his name on their lips, encouraging him to come, to come for them. He tasted blood when he came that time, his teeth embedded in his bottom lip as he shot over his stomach. It hit him like a car, so strong, so intense, he couldn’t breathe, couldn’t move. He was stuck in time, just floating as he came back down to earth.

He’d never come like that before.

“S
o, you’ll be okay with Milo while I go to work today?” Daniel had asked him this three times already and Samuel frowned. “Sorry, it’s just, you don’t know him too well yet, and I want to make sure you’re comfortable.”

“I’ll be fine, Daniel. Please, you’ll be late.” Samuel smiled as he tied his hair at the nape of his neck. “I’m going to have a bath after you leave and I'm sure Milo has a lot of things he needs to do while he’s working from home. I’ll be fine, I promise. No running.”

Daniel grinned at him. That’s obviously what he wanted to hear. “Okay.” He leaned down and kissed his cheek softly. Samuel couldn’t stop his body from moving into him, the desire to touch him stronger than ever since last night. “Don’t clean or cook if you don’t want to. In fact, I thought I’d bring us something to eat home when I finish work. So, don’t plan anything for dinner.”

“Okay.” Samuel gently touched Daniel’s collar, adjusting it for him and keeping him closer for that little bit longer. He tensed when he saw a little love bite on his neck. “Oh…” He blushed so much he felt like he was on fire.

“Everything okay?” Daniel felt around his neck, pausing over the tender skin and sighing. “Oh, yeah.”

Milo swept into the room, coffee in one hand, phone in the other. “Go!” He pointed to the door and Daniel stuck his tongue out at him before kissing Samuel on the forehead. “Bye, you two. Have fun.”

“Sure.” Milo waved then continued his telephone conversation.

Samuel was eating some toast and reading a magazine, feeling relaxed after his hour long bath when Milo finished another call and joined him at the kitchen table.

“You want to write a list and I’ll go shopping.”

“Can’t I come with you?”

“I don’t think so. I think we should keep you inside as much as we can.”

Samuel pouted at Milo and he got a wide smile back. “Please.”

Milo ran his fingers through his hair then shook his head. “I want to take you out, but right now, I don’t want to risk it. Why don’t you order everything online and get it delivered?”

“I don’t know how to use the internet.”

“Whoa!” Milo held his hands up and opened his eyes so wide it made Samuel laugh. “Hold on, really? Come with me and let me teach you the wonders of the World Wide Web.”

Samuel sat next to Milo on the sofa. He was a little closer than he’d been before, but just like with Daniel, Samuel felt the need to touch him more this morning. He watched, interested in everything Milo said and showed him, even searching and finding what he wanted. He looked for random things at first then looked for books he’d read, comic books he would like to buy. Milo let him play with his laptop while he watched TV, only asking for it back when he got a call and needed to check something.

Samuel would watch Milo as he worked, fingers flying over the keypad, authoritative voice making him shudder. He was closer to him, almost leaning on him, and he closed his eyes and just gave into the need to connect to him, resting his head on his arm and curling up against him. At first, Milo ignored how close they were, ignored Samuel resting on his body, but then he shifted his arm, wrapping it over his shoulder and played with his hair as he talked on the phone. Samuel smiled so wide it almost hurt. They didn’t move, not even after Milo finished his call. Instead, Samuel just continued to search the web, leaving the laptop on Milo’s knees. Milo showed him how to order their food online, watched as Samuel took his time deciding what to buy.

He laughed when Samuel asked what else you could do with the internet. “Porn mainly, I would say.”

“Porn? On here?”

“Oh, yeah, loads. Anyone can upload videos or pictures. We get loads of complaints about exes putting out private pictures on here. Once they’re up, they’re hard to get down.”

Samuel tutted loudly, then thought about the pictures which had been taken of him while he was being held. There had been loads. He hated the thought of people still seeing them. “How do I find out if I have pictures up here?”

Milo stiffened against him and Samuel quickly apologised. “No, that’s a question you should ask. If they are out there, I’d do whatever I could to have them removed, especially the underage ones.”

“Thank you.”

“I don’t want you to look now, and you’d probably find it difficult to find them, but I’ll send a few emails now and get someone on it.”

“Do you watch it?”

“What?” Milo shifted a little and Samuel found his head on Milo’s chest, his hand lying on his big thigh. “Porn?”

“Yes.”

Samuel spread his fingers out, noticing how small his hand looked on Milo’s leg.

“I used to watch more when I was younger. Not so much now. If I do, it’s usually homemade stuff with Daniel.” Milo chuckled. “I’d rather watch him then some stranger. Besides, he’s hotter than any man I’ve seen in porn.”

“I've never seen it. I think it was played in the background, but I was generally too out of it to notice.”

Milo ran his fingers through his long hair, and then surprised him by placing a kiss on his head. “You're very brave, Samuel.”

“Daniel said that too.”

“You don’t believe us?”

“I don’t know, I don’t feel brave. I just feel lucky.”

“You are lucky. Lucky and brave.”

“It’s you and Daniel who are brave, not me. All I did was keep alive, sometimes it was just by pure luck that it happened, but I'm still here. You and Daniel, you’re so fearless. You look after people, protect them. Save them. I haven’t done any of that.”

“You could do. You are doing.” Milo tilted him to face him and Samuel lost himself in those dark eyes. “You’ll help boys like you, Samuel. You know more than most what they’re going through right now. If we get these men, we can free them. Help them.”

Samuel nodded. “I’d like it if I could help others in some way.” He played with the seam running down the inside of Milo’s jeans while Milo typed his email and Samuel thought hard. “I thought both you and Daniel saw me as weak and fragile. That I couldn’t make any decisions, which sometimes I struggle with. Like the clothes, but the big things, like what I feel, those I'm not confused about.”

“Really?” Milo adjusted himself, sitting up more. “I don’t think that’s completely true, Samuel.”

“I'm not a child. I’ve experienced far more than others my age.”

“Yes, too much, and those experiences are going to take time to get over and move on from. You might not see—”

Samuel sat up and crossed his arms around himself. “I might not be the most intelligent person, but I'm not stupid. I know what I've been through, and I've spent almost a year working through them. You thought maybe I spent the first year of my freedom with my head up my arse and not remembering what happened, never thinking about who I’d become, what I needed to do to get better?” Samuel rubbed his forehead and let Milo stroke his back softly. “I had help.” He bit his bottom lip while he thought of Claudia. “She worked at the hospital in London where I was taken to right after I escaped. I stayed with her for about five months.” Samuel looked into Milo’s eyes. “They found me, I was afraid they’d find her too. I never went back to the house after I saw them, but I had to say goodbye, so I went to the hospital where she worked and told her I had to leave and why. We only saw each other once more after that when she dropped off my things.”

“We can check up on her if you like. Make sure she’s doing okay, let her know you’re alright. I'm sure she’d appreciate it.”

Samuel wanted to know if she was okay and he nodded.

“Don’t be afraid. I'm sure she’s fine. I’ll try to find her. Do you know her address?”

“Yes.”

“Type it into the laptop and show me.”

Samuel was surprised when the row of houses came up and he quickly pointed out where he’d lived with Claudia and told him the name of the hospital that she worked at where they met. Then he showed Milo the club where he’d escaped. Milo was jotting everything down as they spoke, making notes and being all business again. When Samuel had finished, Milo gently stroked his hair back from his face and smiled.

“She’s very important to you.”

“She was the closest thing to a mum I had since I lost my own. I’ve wanted to call her, write to her, but then I worried if they were watching her. It was best to leave her alone, to end everything. I had to keep her safe. That’s why I’ve stayed alone since I left her, I was sick of putting other people in danger. I don’t want you or Daniel to be hurt. I’d rather leave now than risk that.”

“We’re doing everything we can to not let that happen. Daniel’s important to me. I feel the same way about him.”

“I’m sorry for putting him danger.”

“I'm not just concerned about him. I'm worried about you too. I don’t want anything to happen to you, and I don’t want you to leave here thinking it will keep us safe. Even if you left, I would still continue to bring these men down, and I’d never stop looking for you. Neither would Daniel.”

Samuel shut his eyes and held himself tightly. He wanted to keep them safe by leaving, but he also wanted to stay and be selfish. To keep both of them in his life, because for the first time in a long time, he felt happy here. “I don’t want to leave you.”

“Good, because that’s how I feel too.”

“You should want me to go.”

“Because of the men who are searching for you, or because of how you feel about Daniel?” Milo shut the laptop and placed it on the floor, tapping the sofa beside him. Samuel shifted away, but the firm look in those dark eyes made him stop. “You’re bound to have strong feelings for him. He was the one who saved you. Who took you in and gained your trust when no man had done that for such a long time. This is why Daniel and I worry about you. These feelings, they’re something a lot of people in your position feel. I’m not saying I know exactly how you feel, and I'm not saying I'm right, but I'm trying to make you see there are reasons for you to feel so connected to Daniel, and to think about that.”

Samuel played with his hair, never once looking at Milo while he thought about everything he’d said. “I know there are reasons why I care so much for him, and yes, being rescued by him, being taken into his home like this, it’s part of the reason, but it’s not
just
those. It’s everything about him.” Samuel eventually turned around, tucking one of his legs under himself and moving closer to Milo. “I don’t want to cause problems between you two.”

“You’re not.” Milo glanced away and Samuel gently took hold of his hand.

“I am.”

Milo sighed then gripped his hand tighter. “Everything between me and Daniel is complicated. You’re actually keeping things simpler rather than complicating things further.” Milo smiled softly. “That seems wrong, but it’s not. If you hadn’t been here, I'm sure Daniel wouldn’t have taken me back so easily. He needs me here for the investigation. To help protect you.”

“That’s not why you’re here. He loves you a lot. You love him. Why wouldn’t you be together?”

Milo laughed. “That’s the million pound question. One we’re still working on sorting out.” Milo ran his fingertip down Samuel’s cheekbone, moving his gaze slowly over every inch of Samuel’s face while he thought hard about something. “Anyone who thought you were anything less than stunning is a fool. Don’t believe their lies.”

“It’s easy not to when I'm surrounded by people who make me feel like you two do. Thank you.”

“There’s no need to thank me.”

“I think there is. You should always thank someone after receiving a compliment. It’s difficult to believe two men as handsome as you, who are involved with each other, would even spare a glance at me.”

“I’m sure both me and Daniel could enjoy looking at you for a very long time.”

Samuel dropped his gaze to his hands curled in his lap, trying to not think about everything he wanted to do with Milo right then. He wanted to curl up on his thighs, wrap his arms around his neck and kiss him. Feel his hard body against him, feel how he wanted him. But then, did Milo want him? Just because he thought he was beautiful didn’t mean he desired him.

“I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.” Milo slid further away and Samuel turned to look at him.

“You didn’t.”

“I think I did.” Milo started to get up but Samuel slammed his hand on his muscular chest and kneeled up.

“I don’t need you to think for me. I’ve had enough of that. I'm able to think and do things for myself. I'm not as brainless as you think I am. Stop doing it. I'm allowed to feel and think what I want to. You can judge those feelings and thoughts, but you can’t tell me not to have them, or make me feel I'm wrong.”

“I didn’t mean—”

“I know you’re both looking out for me, but I need to feel I can at least think for myself. Even if I get it wrong, I want to experience that. I'm innocent in a lot of ways, but I'm also sneaky and manipulative when I want to be. I've had to be like that. I've been through things most people my age will never experience, but I’ve learned to cope with those things. It’s the everyday things, like shopping and deciding what to wear and what to buy which throws me.”

“You’ll have time to become used to those things. And you’re right. We can be too overprotective, but it’s just difficult right now to let you have a lot of space. You’re still not safe, Samuel, but you will be. Until then, we’ll just have to learn as we go along how to deal with everything. As long as you’re happy here, and okay with everything, then we have time. Just tell me if I’m being too overbearing, I tend to do that a lot. I don’t have a soft touch like Daniel does. Maybe together we can keep you happy.” Milo laughed at that, then shook his head.
