“It’s not like that.”

“Aww, come on, Danny. You’re his hero, the one who’s looking after him, protecting him. You’re the one he needs. Hell, you need him. You always have wanted to look after strays, dogs, cats, the people you help, now him.” Milo sat back and they both stared at each other again.

“I know he’ll be confused right now. That’s why I would never act on how I feel for him.”

“Feel for him?” Milo grunted loudly. “And what’s that?”

“I care about him. Him being safe and well is important to me.”

“Yeah, it is to me too, but he’s not living in my fucking house, and slouching round the place in clingy, revealing clothes and giving me those big come-to-bed eyes, that’s all for you.”

“That’s not…” Daniel looked up to the ceiling. “His eyes don’t say that at all. You’ve got this all wrong.”

“All wrong?” Milo jumped up, towering over Daniel and holding his chin, forcing him to look at him. “Tell me you haven’t thought about fucking him. Tell me you don’t have to fight the urge to get him in bed every single time you look at him and I’ll drop this.”

Daniel shut his eyes and Milo released him with a huff.

“He can’t stay here, Danny.”

“I'm not letting him leave.”

“That’s not your decision to make.”

“It’s not yours either.”

Milo sighed heavily. “He’s been through enough. He’s confused and afraid. Right now, if you came onto him, if you kissed him, or touched him, there’s no way of knowing if that’s what he wants, or if it’s just something to make you happy, to thank you for all you’ve done. I know how much you want him, Danny. I know because I've only ever seen you look like that for one other person.” Milo stroked Daniel’s cheek softly. “I know because that person’s me. I know how hard this will be for you. Just let me help you. I don’t want you to get in trouble or do something which you’ll regret later.”

“I swear I won’t touch him, no matter how much I want him. I know how confused he is, Milo, but I can’t stop how I want him. Don’t you think I've tried? Nothing works. It’s more than just sex, I care about him. I want him safe.”

“You’re just as confused as he is. What you think you feel for him, it’s not real, Danny. You just ended things with me two days ago. Which, we still need to talk about, because I'm not ready to let you just walk out on us.” Milo pressed his hand over Daniel’s mouth and smiled. “That’s a conversation for later, Baby. You’ve already saved him once, now you want to save him again. It’s not enough rescuing him from the fire, now you want to rescue him from his pain, from his past, make everything good and right. You think you’ve found someone who you need, that he can give you something you’ve been looking for. I’m trying hard to keep this professional, but don’t think this doesn’t piss me off. I feel jealousy just like everyone else, I may not show it, but…” Milo moved closer to him, holding his hip and running his thumb over Daniel’s lips. “I don’t want you looking at another man like you do to me. This is fucking hard, Danny. Just take a few steps back and see this through clearer eyes. He’s open and vulnerable, but he’s not the only one. I know you too well. Danny…”

Milo’s hand wrapped around the back of Daniel’s neck, their bodies slowly moving closer. They both needed each other. The constant thrumming of electricity between them never died—it slowed, but up close, they both could feel it. Milo saw the darker colour to Daniel’s eyes, saw it in his breathing, felt how tense his body became.

“I’ve missed you.” Milo leaned in, kissing Daniel’s lips softly, both of them moaning quietly as they connected.

“Milo…” Daniel held Milo’s shoulders, not pushing him away, but not pulling him closer either, just keeping his lips against Milo’s.

Milo hadn’t been with anyone since he was last with Daniel four weeks ago. He hadn’t been with anyone else full stop for over three years, not that Daniel would believe him if he told him. He got everything sexually he needed from Daniel, and why would he look elsewhere when he had perfection right in his lap?

Milo could never hold back with him so close. Once they touched, it was like everything else slipped away and left them in vacuum of nothingness. Milo pressed his lips onto Daniel’s, holding him in his tight grip and sliding their mouths together, forcing him to kiss him back. Daniel pushed his hips into him, letting their cocks hit each other’s, making them both moan.

“Should I come back later?”

Milo groaned at the sound of Dalton behind them, and Daniel quickly stepped back, leaving his body cold and alone, desperate for more.

“No. Now’s fine. I suppose.” Milo took a few deep breaths, checking his coat hid most of his erection before he turned around. “Let’s get this over with.”

D
aniel swept back his hair, looking between Milo and Dalton as they stood in the garden watching him carefully. “I’ll talk to him tonight. I’ll keep in touch with you. Just call me and let me know how things are going on your end.”

Dalton left them alone with a nod and a short wave, but Daniel held Milo back.

“I’ve got to go, Danny.”

“Milo, I don’t want you to get in any trouble for this. You know that, right?”

“Yeah, I know.” Milo smiled softly. “Can we talk tonight? Either here, or… Yeah, I suppose it will have to be here. You can’t leave him alone.”

Daniel leaned against the doorframe and bit his lip. Talking with Milo about their personal stuff shouldn’t happen. “I made my decision. I haven’t changed how I feel for you. I still love you. But nothing else has changed either.”

Milo stood closer, kissing him hard and fast, pinning him against the wall with his bigger frame. Daniel had to hold onto his jacket just to stop him from slipping to the ground. No matter how many kisses they shared, they were all the same—consuming and mind altering. Daniel could barely remember his own name when Milo pulled back.

“We’re talking later. That’s happening.” Milo placed his cap on his head and adjusted his jacket over his cock. “And after I’ve shown you how wrong this stupid idea of ending things is—” Milo met Daniel’s gaze, the serious tone to his voice and the firm line his lips were pressed into showed Daniel his pig-headedness wouldn’t be argued with. Milo moved next to him, grabbing the back of his hair in his tight fist, forcing Daniel’s head back and his mouth to open. “I’m fucking you into tomorrow.”

Daniel tried to come back with something, but his mind was blank, and all he could think about was Milo above him, holding his arms to the bed and fucking him like he needed right now.

“I’ll be round about eight. Make sure Sleeping Beauty is in bed. I don’t want an audience.” Milo gave him one last long look, then marched off around the corner, leaving Daniel hard as hell and trying to stop himself from panting.

“Fuck!”

No matter how much Daniel wanted to stop it from happening, the painful truth was, he really wanted it to happen. He needed it to happen. He would have let Milo take him right there and then if that’s what he wanted. He was so fucking weak around him. Daniel punched the door after he closed it, swearing loudly at himself.

“Daniel?”

He stopped breathing and clenched his fists tightly together. He couldn’t be near Samuel right now.

“Is everything okay?”

“Yes. They’re gone. Don’t worry about them. I just need a few minutes. Why don’t you make us some tea? I won’t be long.”

Daniel didn’t even look at him as he swept past Samuel, running for his room and slamming the door behind him. He needed to come. Milo had worked him up too much to just continue on as if nothing had happened. Daniel wasn’t in control around Samuel as it was, and he couldn’t risk doing something to upset him. Maybe if he got himself off now, he wouldn’t be as desperate to be with Milo tonight. He smirked at the thought. He could spend all night with his cock in his hand and still beg for Milo. His touch was nothing like his own. Milo knew what Daniel wanted better than himself most times.

He dropped his training pants and shorts to the floor, pulling his t-shirt off and grabbing the lube from the bedside drawer. Milo made him lose his mind. He was starving for his touch, his body aching with the need running through it. He looked down at his hard cock standing erect from his hips, gently running his finger over his head, smoothing the drops of precum over himself and sighing as he stiffened.

He wetted his cock, slipping the lube over his fingers and laying on his side. He needed more than just his cock touched. His insides screamed for something big and hard plunging into him, but his fingers would do for the quickie he had in mind. He was sure after his talk tonight with Milo he’d need his dildo, but for now, this would be enough to take the edge off.

His cock was pulsing in his hand as he slid it loosely up and down his hard shaft. His other hand was behind him, running over his twitching hole a few times before he stopped teasing himself and pushed his first finger inside it. He moaned, his other hand tightening around his cock. He stretched himself open with two, filling himself as deep as he could get and sliding them out, opening them wider and groaning when his arse stretched.

“Milo.”

Daniel buried his face into the pillow, gasping as he fingered himself harder, fucking into his fist and calling out Milo’s name. He needed more, Milo was nice and thick, he stretched Daniel open more than any other man had ever done. Daniel’s third finger got him to call out and his cock to leak like crazy—it was spilling over his fingers. He lifted his leg up to his chest, fucking his arse harder, just holding his cock in the other, needing to be fucked deeper than he could reach.

“That’s it, fuck me.”

He thrust his fingers in as deep as they could reach, and a few twists of his fist over his cock got him there fast.

“Milo!”

Daniel came hard, shooting over the sheet, his fingers clamped tightly in his body as he twisted them inside him.

“God, I need fucking.” Daniel slipped his fingers from his arse and lay on his back, staring at the ceiling.

He wanted to continue if he was truly honest with himself. If he was alone, he’d spend all afternoon with his selection of toys and ride the biggest of his dildos to end the night in his favorite position—kneeling on the floor with ten inches of rubber propped on a pillow between his thighs and his arse riding it hard until he shot all over the hardwood flooring. He rubbed his face roughly and sat up. What he
was
going to do was take a quick cold shower and go drink the tea Samuel was making him.

“Shit!” He jumped up and stood on the landing, looking down the stairs. What if he’d run? “Samuel, you okay down there?”

“I'm fine.”

Daniel jumped in the air, his hands flying to his cock as he spun around to face Samuel right behind him. “Jesus Christ.” Daniel ran into his room and slammed the door shut. “I'm sorry.” He banged his forehead on the door and grimaced. “I thought you were downstairs.”

“It’s okay.” He could hear Samuel’s voice shake and he sighed heavily. “I was just using the bathroom.”

Daniel threw on some jogging pants and a t-shirt before opening the door again, catching hold of Samuel’s arm as he headed down the stairs. “Hey, I'm sorry. I was just getting in the shower. Are you okay?”

“I’ve seen a naked man before, Daniel. It’s not a shock.” Samuel smiled softly then dropped his head, playing with his hair as it draped around him like a shield. “I'm sorry I scared you.”

“I’m just not used to sharing yet. It will get better, I promise.” Daniel moved into the bathroom, washing his hands and face as Samuel leaned against the wall, his eyes following him everywhere he went. Daniel dried his face then smiled at him. “How about that bacon sandwich I promised you a few hours ago?”

“I can make it for you while you have your shower. There’s no rush. Just come down when you smell the food.” Samuel leaned up and kissed Daniel’s cheek softly. “Thank you for today. If you hadn’t run after me, I wouldn’t have stopped.”

“It was blind luck I saw you sprinting across the car park on my way home. Don’t run again, Sweetheart.” Daniel hugged him tightly. “I know you’re scared, but from now on, we do things together, okay? You’ll always be with me.”

Samuel relaxed into his body, his scent and lithe frame doing naughty things to Daniel’s confused brain again. The way Samuel held him, the way he pressed up against him, the way he caressed Daniel’s spine with feather light, teasing touches, and the heavier pants of air coming from his mouth, it confused Daniel’s body.

“You’re so kind to me.” Samuel’s lips fluttered against the skin of his neck as he spoke and Daniel sucked in a deep breath of air and tensed against him. “You’re a wonderful person, Daniel.”

“I want you safe.” Daniel gently coaxed Samuel from him and looked into those big blue eyes. “We need to talk tonight. Not in great detail, but I need the basics about the people who are trying to find you. If we’re going to stop them, I need to know who I'm dealing with. Milo, the tall, dark-haired police officer who scared you—”

“The good-looking one?”

“Erm, yes.” Daniel smiled down at him. “Yep, that one. He wants to help me, but you don’t need to talk to him, I can do that. Just tell me things, and when you are ready, Milo will be there for us.”

“He’s your friend?”

“Yes.” Daniel brushed back Samuel’s hair and kissed his forehead. “He’ll help us find these pricks who are after you. Between us, we’ll find them. I promise.”

“Is he always so… firm?” Samuel bit his lip and Daniel grinned.

“Yes, but he can be nice too.”

“Is he nice to you?”

“He has his moments.”

“And you trust him?”

“I do, with my life.”

“Then I trust him too. I don’t like him, but you do, so that’s okay with me.” Samuel stepped closer, pressing their chests together, his full lips meeting Daniel’s again. It was longer than a peck, and his body was too close to be a casual kiss, but Samuel stepped back, a slight blush colouring his cheeks and those lips flushed a darker pink. “I’ll be downstairs. Enjoy your shower.”

Daniel watched him walk downstairs, then fell against the wall, his mind a mess and his poor body confused. He needed that cold shower more than ever, and he twisted himself around, rolling into the bathroom and closing the door before he stripped off.

He made sure the water was tepid, keeping himself cool while he soaped his body up, making sure every inch of him was free from the sticky lube covering his arse and balls. He spent a little too long down there, and his cock rose again. He frowned at it and took his hand off his balls. He could already smell the bacon frying, and his stomach growled loudly. Food took over his thoughts, and he rinsed off before drying himself and dressing in the discarded jogging pants and t-shirt on the floor.

Samuel was in the kitchen when he got down, humming to some dance tune on the radio while he fried a few eggs. Daniel watched him from the doorway, enjoying seeing him sway to the music. He could move. The way those hips swayed and how his pert arse, still encased in the tight fitted skinny jeans, jiggled around made Daniel imagine him on stage, maybe with a pole, a pole would be good, and less clothing, maybe something black and tight, but more… Was he thinking of lingerie? Dear God, he was. Like stockings. Stockings would look good on those legs. And his arse, it was crying out for some sort of silk panties.

“Daniel!”

“Huh?” Daniel refocused on Samuel standing on the other side of the room, a spatula swinging from his hand and big smile on his face.

“Where does your mind go?”

“The gutter apparently,” he murmured quietly. Daniel shook the sexy image out of his head and smiled. “This smells so good. Thanks. It’s much better than what I would have done.”

“It’s just eggs and bacon. I toasted some of the bread you bought this morning and there’s tea in the sitting room. Go sit down and I’ll bring this in.”

“I’ll put on another film for us. What do you fancy this time?” Daniel grabbed the remote, flicking through the TiVo films.

“Do you like musicals?”

“Erm… no. But I have some. They were my mum’s. What you thinking of?”

“The Wizard of Oz.”

“Okay, I have it.” Daniel searched through the back of the DVD cabinet and pulled it out. “I can suffer that one for you easily.”

Samuel swept past him as he knelt on the floor, placing his plate on the coffee table and sitting on the sofa where he sat last night. “You have so many films.”

“This is just the tip of the iceberg. You should see the spare room. It’s filled from floor to ceiling. Feel free to look through them and pick whatever you want. There’s a TV and DVD player in your room. Just pop whatever you want on.”

“Thanks. If I can’t sleep, I’ll take a look.”

Daniel plonked himself on the other side of the sofa, taking a big bite of his sandwich. “Hmmm, this is perfect. Just what I needed.”

“I like cooking. It’s something I’m good at. One of the foster homes I stayed in, the lady, she ran her own café. I used to help out after school.”

“You went into care after your uncle died, right? When you were ten?”

Samuel nodded, his mouth still full. He swallowed then took a drink of tea. “I moved around a lot. I didn’t really fit in anywhere. Some houses had a few kids there. They didn’t really like me. But I was pretty quiet, and I also looked different. They didn’t know what to do with me.” He smiled.

“How many places did you stay in?”

Samuel licked his lips while he thought. “Ten, I think. I moved around from place to place, sometimes staying in children’s homes. I got used to it. I never needed much anyway. It was moving schools which bothered me. I’m pretty stupid when it comes to things like that. Just when I got settled, I moved.”

“That doesn’t make you stupid. It just means you didn’t get the chance to learn what the other kids did. You could take your exams again, get your high school equivalency at home in open learning courses. Did you get a chance to take them the first time?”
