Maybe he was the weak one for being unable to let go of his violent side. Erin didn't deserve to be with someone who wanted to rip apart whatever made him angry. Or frustrated. Or scared. She needed someone calm and stable. None of that made a difference, though. He loved her and promised to be there for her. He wouldn't let her down.
