Mason laughed and then went pale as he remembered the night of Mikala’s girl’s night out. Kicking himself for allowing it, he should have been more forceful and put his foot down, but then again it was Mikala and she would have went anyway. The only place he really had power over her was in the bedroom and that had only happened once since that night.

“I’m home, sugar,” he called out.

Old habits die hard.

He placed the pizza on the counter and poured the wine into a glass, taking it with him as he searched the apartment for Mikala. The last place he thought he’d find her, there she was. Lying on the black satin covered bed with her arms pillowed under her head watching porn. Mason laughed as he put the glass down and slowly stripped to nothing. The angle of the bed from the doorway made it easy to surprise her, the side of the bed dipped and she rose to her elbows.

“Beautiful.” He mouthed and she smiled.

Mason looked from her to the screen, raising his eyebrows in question and she shrugged with a grin.

He watched as she reached for a marker and wrote on the small dry-erase board.
Want to fool around?

He nodded eagerly as she rose to her knees wearing one of his bulldog t-shirts, he fingered the hem lifting it for a peek and smiled. She wasn’t wearing underwear.

“I like your choice of undergarment,” he said, looking up and finding her staring into his face.

She grabbed the board and scribbled.
Talk dirty to me.

His eyebrows narrowed and she held the board in his face. “Okay sugar, I’ll talk dirty to you,” he said tossing the board to the floor. His lips touched the sensitive tissue behind her ear as he whispered, “I’m going to do all kinds of dirty things to you.”

She pulled back and looked from his eyes to his mouth as if waiting. Mason started to speak as her fingertips touched his lower lip as the words came out, “Make love?” he asked, and watched as she shook her head. “Fuck?” he asked, and she nodded slipping her finger into his mouth.

“Fuck yeah,” he said, pulling her shirt over her head and knocking her off balance. She fell back and spread her legs.

Her sex glistened with her arousal and he hummed mmm, lifting her foot to his mouth, licking from her heel to her toes, sucking each one and leaving a wet trail up to her knee. He slithered up her body licking a wet trail to her breasts and nipped the tender bead growling when he heard her gasp. He nipped the other and then trailed his wet tongue slowly to her belly button. Mikala giggled as he swirled his tongue around her belly button, she groaned as he dipped two fingers deep into her sex.

“So wet,” he said against her pale skin.

He smiled at her watching his every move, she had never been so fascinated to the point of mesmerized before, it made him grow harder.

“I need to taste you,” he said, and watched her scowl, not able to read what he said. He grinned running his wet tongue ever so slowly along his upper lip and across the bottom. She licked her lips to match his move and nodded.

Stroking his tongue from her puckered entrance to her clit, she let out a gasp and clamped her fingers to his scalp. “More?” he asked, and her head nodded wildly as he buried his face in her sex and literally ate her alive. Slurping loudly and humming his enjoyment the entire time.

Mikala pulled him by the hair until he was situated over her body and she guided his cock between her folds.

“Rough?” he asked, and she dug her fingers into his ass rocking her hips forward aggressively.

“Rough is it then,” he said, thrusting into her as she moaned and panted.

It had been a while since they made love and she was so warm and wet he wasn’t sure how long he could last. With each trust, he felt the urge, a tingle racing along his spine and Mikala tightened around him and milked his orgasm from him with hers.

“Say my name,” he said.

Silence.

He stared intently into her face as he continued rocking. “Say my name,” he enunciated each word and she shook her head no, panting. “Say my name, say it!” He roared, as the last of his seed burst from him.

“Mason,” she said on a whisper, and he smiled as he melted his mouth over hers.

What’s this about?
Mikala typed on her i-pad.

Mason shrugged his shoulders as the door to Eden’s office opened and they watched Eden enter, followed by Chase, Landon and Carl.

“Morning my lovelies.” Eden smiled, placing a pink file folder onto her desk.

Once the good mornings and how-are-yous were taken care of and out of the way, Amanda brought in a trolley with tea, coffee and an assortment of pastries, muffins and bagels, then proceeded to hand out pretty bound notebooks to each person in the room.

The cover of each notebook was personalized with each person’s name and a date, eight days from today.

“Don’t open them just yet,” Eden was quick to instruct, resulting in grumbles and expected whining.

Eden stepped over to a screen on the wall and lifted a remote from her desk. She pointed it and the date from the notebooks appeared on the screen. Eden had a way of taking over a room. Mikala imagined she would have been one hell of a great professor or politician. With one glance the group sat silently waiting with great anticipation.

“As you are all well aware of,” Eden said, raising her index finger in a wait-a-minute gesture to Mikala, when she saw her confusion. “Mikala and Mason’s wedding plans took a bit of a detour, so I took it upon myself to correct this asinine error and make this thing happen.”

What is she saying?
Mikala typed.

I’m not sure, let’s hear her out.
Mason typed onto her i-pad
.

I can’t hear!

Don’t be a smartass Mikala!
Mason typed with a scowl and wrapped his hand over hers.

Mikala narrowed her eyes and turned her attention to the picturesque view of the harbor outside Eden’s office window. Whatever was going on, she lost interest.

“You each have a notebook outlining the particular job you have in making this happen,” Eden said, noting Mikala’s detachment from the group. She took this opportunity to let them in on her secret. “Mikala’s notebook entails her being asked to city hall for a private discussion with the mayor and me in regards to a design project he wants her to attend.”

“Eden this is sweet, but how are you going to explain the rest of us?” Landon asked.

Mikala looked at the screen as a slide of city hall appeared and looked away again, a silent hush filled the room and then the group let out a collective breath.

“Don’t worry your pretty little heads about that,” Eden laughed. “Leave it to me.”

“Eden,” Mason started.

“Mason, leave it to me, please.” Eden pleaded. “Now I want you to take your notebooks, keep them hidden from Mik at all times and get your jobs done. Once completed call me so I can check them off my list.”

“What do I tell her? How can I keep this a secret from her?” Mason looked at Mikala staring out the window. “I won’t lie.”

“Mason, you’ll do exactly what’s written in that notebook,” Eden warned. “Ask yourself how much you love Mikala and want to marry her, and then think of them only as little white, forgivable lies.”

“Now, go,” she instructed. “Go! Me and Mik are doing lunch to talk about the design and why she was chosen.”

Mason frowned. “You mean lie to her.”

“Jesus Mason, do you want this or not?” Eden’s patience was wearing thin. “They’re only little cream colored lies. I do have a city hall job and as it so happens, it involves the mayor’s office and Mikala and he are friends remember?”

“Yeah I fucking want this,” Mason said, as the others stood tucking their notebooks out of sight. “I hope you know what you’re doing, sweetheart.”

Mikala typed with a miserable look on her face.
Is anyone going to fill me in or are you enjoying keeping me in the fucking dark?

Eden’s going to take you to lunch and explain everything, have fun. I’ll see you at home.
Mason typed, and then watched as she rolled her eyes and turned away to the window, again.

Although Mason and Mikala had made-up and enjoyed several exhilarating rounds of mind-blowing make-up sex, Mikala was still miserable. She was so bitter and ugly in general these days, that he wasn’t sure if she would agree to anything Eden had to say. And if she mentioned the word wedding, Mason feared what harm Eden would come to. Eden in his opinion was taking one almighty risk, he wished her luck and left.

Let’s do this.
Eden wrote on a piece of paper and handed it to Mikala.

Do what exactly?
Mikala typed.

I need your help with a project at city hall.

Why me? I can’t design.

The mayor wants you in on this. It involves local charities, Are you in?

Charities.
Mikala typed, hesitating momentarily while she considered the invitation.
I’m in.

Eden knew she had her, charities always sucked Mikala in. She had no resistance when it came to her charity work.

Eden smiled.

It was the most excruciating seven days of Mason’s life as he pussy-footed around Mikala, acting as if it was just any another day and plans were not in the works for the ultimate wedding surprise.

Mason had gathered the guys together at his warehouse, knowing Mikala would never step foot in there, so they could discuss their positions and who needed help with the plans bestowed upon them by organizer extraordinaire, Eden.

Smooth as silk, the plans were falling into place. Mason opened his notebook and scribbled
Done thank god,
tucking it in his bottom drawer under a pile of well-worn file folders. It looked like everything was taken care of, except convincing Mikala to go to the hairdressers and get fancied up.

That’s where Deanna no-one-tells-her-no Dean came in.

Mikala sighed as she read Deanna’s text.

Hi Mikala, I haven’t talked to you in so long, I hate to throw this at you without warning but I noticed you are on the guest list for Saturday and I’d like to get together with you and Eden before. Let’s spend the morning at ‘Curl up and Dye’. We can get all gussied up for the event and discuss your charity. Say 11am? I won’t take no for an answer, see you then. Love Deanna D.

Mason watched over Mikala’s shoulder as she glowered at the screen and then typed.

See you then, Mik.

He pressed his lips to the top of her head, leaning over her he typed
. I’m glad you’re going, it’s about time you had fun.

I’ll go but I don’t know about having fun.

Mason lifted her from the chair, taking her place and pulling her into his lap
.

Sugar when are you going to accept that you can’t hear and it changes nothing?
Mason typed onto her i-pad’s screen.

It changed everything, everything for me anyway.
Mikala typed.

She attempted to stand as Mason locked his arm around her waist.

Besides your hearing what’s changed?
He typed and shoved her hand away before she could respond
. You can speak if you try, you can walk, and you have your sight and so many people that love you, it’s criminal. I love you whether you hear me or not, I love all of you, even your broken ears. As long as your pussy ain’t broke, I’m an extremely happy man.

Mikala laughed, kissing his forehead gently and typed
. I love you too, I guess I am being a little unreasonable. I just can’t help myself.

A little??????
He typed and she laughed as he tickled her and she squirmed to get free.

Keep doing that.
He typed.

???
She typed.

With a grin, Mason tickled her again as he pushed his growing erection against the cheek of her ass.

“Oh!”
She said, louder than she knew and grinned, holding up a finger.

She stood, dropping her pajama bottoms around her ankles and kicking them away. Mason licked his lips and a smile curled the corners of his mouth as she stood before him bare-assed.

“Looking for some lovin’ baby?” he said, opening the buttons on his jeans and though she didn’t hear what he said, she understood.

Helping him wiggle his jeans to his knees, Mikala happily straddled his hips when he patted his bare thighs and winked.

They didn’t need words as he buried his cock between her thighs and rocked them into a state of enraptured bliss.

*** Wedding Day ***

The reflection in the mirror surely wasn’t hers, she stared in disbelief.

Mikala’s hair was pulled up at the back into an elaborate French knot, bejeweled with crystals and pearls. Her makeup had been professionally applied giving her a soft smoky look, which enhanced the green and popped the golden flecks in her eyes. Vintage red lipstick, her signature color, was coated with a layer of stay-on gloss and matching polish adorned her nails, both finger and toes.
