Christopher gave Val, Mortician, and Digger the evil eye before his gaze landed on Johnnie. “What about John Boy? He ain’t had fuck-all to do with this?”

Johnnie stiffened and annoyance spread across his features.

“Of course not,” she said easily. “Why would he?” Before he could answer, she sighed and asked in a small voice, “Are…are there a lot of girls at the party?”

Fuck him. He thought about that red haired bitch. Just like they had strange fucking women here tonight, new bitches could show up at any time. They might know about that dick-grinding whore and tell Megan. “Look, baby, before you hear about this from some fuckin’ bitch, this cunt came and decided to ground all over my dick but I pushed her flat on her fuckin’ ass and woulda fuckin’ capped whoever the fuck was responsible for sendin’ that whore to me. Nofuckinbody would tell me who did it, though.”

Silence. “Megan?” he asked when a few more seconds went on and she still said fuck all. “You hung up on me?” Nothing. “Megan?” In agitation, he swigged from the whisky and grabbed Digger by the throat. Shit. Maybe, the Herb and Al had loosened the fuck out of his tongue. Because if he wanted to be honest with her, he could’ve done it in person, not when she was hundreds of miles away from him in Seattle.

“I, um, I have to go, Christopher,” she said finally, a little tremble in her voice. “Go enjoy the rest of the party and I-I’ll see you Saturday.”

“Aww, fuck, Megan,” Christopher called, squeezing Digger’s neck at the sound of her uncertainty, “don’t be like that, baby. I miss the fuck outta you. If I woulda known these three fucks told you to go, I swear I wouldn’t have let you leave. I don’t want no other bitch but you. And I ain’t at the party. I fuckin’ left after that bitch did that shit. I’m in the room, missin’ the fuck outta you.”

Megan pulled in a breath. “Okay. And d-don’t be mad at the three of them. They just wanted to make you happy—“

Nice try, Megan.
They were still in for ass whippings.

“You make me fuckin’ happy, Megan.
You
.” With each word, he shook Digger. “And they know that, so don’t tell me not to be mad at these motherfuckers cuz you there thinkin’ I’m fuckin’ another bitch—“

“Only because
you
told me what happened while I’m here,” she snapped. “You could’ve waited until we were face-to-face.”

If he tightened his hold on Digger once more, he was going to strangle the man. He shoved him away and Digger grabbed his neck, doubling over.

“I ain’t thinkin’ straight,” Christopher muttered. “I’m so fuckin’ pissed with these motherfuckers right now. It’s because of them, you ain’t fuckin’ here.”

“Christopher,” she drawled softly, after a moment, “please be nice to them. They didn’t mean any harm. I know I can’t be around you all the time, but it just shocked me a little to hear the first time I’m not there at a function, you have women grinding on you. I-I mean…” Her voice trailed off.

Her pain and insecurity were like fingers, reaching out and touching him, choking him with a painful grip.

“What, Megan? Tell me.” Christopher yanked Digger back to a sitting position.

“How’d she get in your lap in the first place? You c-could’ve stopped her before she got that far.”

Yeah, no doubt about it. Herb and Al had made his fucking mouth run like a fucking motor. He had to make this shit right. “No, I couldn’t. That bitch had to get close to me so I could shove her the fuck away and make my fuckin’ message loud and fuckin’ clear.”

She sniffled and Digger hung his head. The other two had the fucking decency to look ashamed.

“Megan, please, baby, don’t cry. You askin’ me to be nice to these motherfuckers, then you tryin’ to get them laid up in fuckin’ traction for months because I’m hearin’ your tears. Where’s Farrah and Lacey and your whiny fuckin’ ma?”

“They’re out.”

“Can I call you back in about half an hour? I gotta take care of somethin’.”

“Don’t, Christopher,” Megan said. “I know what you have to take care of and I’m asking you to let them be. I’m just tired. Momma
drugged
CJ with Benadryl and Tylenol and I haven’t spoken to her since.”

That fucking bitch did fucking…”
What?”

“And there was this man. She changed her seat with him. And he gave me the creeps. He was the same man who was at the club the other night. He said his name was—“

“Cee Cee,” he snarled.

“You know him?”

No, but he fucking would and shortly. “He’s bad news, baby. Stay the fuck away from him. You hear me?”

“It wasn’t as if I had a choice. Momma gave him her seat. I told her I was going to tell the stewardess to have police waiting for him.”

Police, huh? And he was going to have a long fucking talk with that bitch, Dinah. She had abso-fucking-lutely
no
motherly instincts. Drugging his son? And, just as bad or worse, letting some fuckhead sit next to his wife where shit got so out-of-hand Megan wanted to call the police?

“Yeah?” he asked casually. “You wanted to call the cops? Any particular reason why?”

“I’ve handled it, Christopher. Don’t worry. I don’t need you to fight all my battles.” She sighed. “Hold on.”

“Uh, hey, Prez, can we leave now?” Val asked, hooking his thumbs in his pockets and rocking on his heels.

Christopher glowered him into silence. He’d get Megan off the phone, fuck these motherfuckers up so they
never
talked his wife into doing some shit like this again, and then call her and talk to her for the rest of the night.

“I’m back,” Megan said. “I had to lay CJ down. Anyway, once we landed, we decided to go shopping and Mama complained about the price of a dress I wanted. Farrah got mad at me because I refused to go to a strip club. But I made the choice to leave you, so it isn’t anyone’s fault the trip is going so bad.”

Uh, if Megan was trying to plead these motherfuckers’ cases, she was just digging their fucking graves. Christopher leaned down and punched Digger. Flesh connected with flesh and Digger slid to the floor.

“What was that?”

Christopher kicked Digger. “Nothin’, baby,” he called.

Silence again. “So you’re alone?” she asked after a moment.

He kicked Digger once more and the man groaned. “Didn’t I say I was?”

Christopher guessed she didn’t believe him because she wasn’t saying anything. She was probably listening for sounds.

“Give me fifteen minutes, Megan.” Five minutes to fuck each of them up. He already had a head-start on Digger. “And answer this fucking phone when I call you the fuck back.” Not waiting for her response, he disconnected the call.

Mortician held up his hands. “Prez, man, we can explain—“

“Explain?” he yelled. “Explain why you fucks told Megan to fuckin’
leave
? Stickin’ your fuckin’ nose in my business?”

“Outlaw,” Val started, “we just wanted—“

“Christopher—“ Johnnie began.

He jerked Digger to his feet and shoved him toward Val and Mortician. “Shut the fuck up. All of you. I owe you motherfuckers for this shit. Your ass whippins go to the back fuckin’ burner. I want that motherfucker named Cee Cee.”

Grabbing his smokes and his nine, he glanced at his phone. He’d call Megan back in a bit. First, he needed to socialize and discover what he could about Cee Cee Whoever-The-Fuck.

Wondering who the hell Cee Cee was and what he wanted, Johnnie walked into the room he used at the clubhouse whenever he slept on the premises. While the others spoke to some of the other brothers, he’d intended to make some calls and try to get a bead on the asshole who’d shaken Megs up enough that she wanted to call the police. Instead, he had company. The whore who’d sent Christopher over the edge. He’d expected the whore to have found another brother to fuck. Instead, he found her, knees drawn up, and fast asleep.

He withdrew a cigarette from his cut and lit it, his gaze never leaving the nude woman on the bed. Releasing the smoke, he thought about leaving her alone. He didn’t want her. First, he and Megan had shared a heated kiss, then he’d finger-fucked her while she jerked him off. In between those two encounters, he’d spent enough time with her to discover the person she really was. And he wanted every inch of her. But she didn’t want him, not that way at least.

So be it.

After finishing his cigarette, he walked to his stereo system and slipped in an old Creed cd. The whore stirred and sat up. Hard nipples tipped peach-colored, quarter-sized aureoles and she stretched, thrusting her breasts out further. She blinked when she saw him standing in the room. Her shock and panic didn’t escape him. Who the fuck was she? She’d been ready to seduce Christopher, but now, looked like a deer in the crosshairs of a hunter’s gun.

“H-hi.”

A husky voice to go with a lush body. The prospect of fucking her grew more appealing by the second.

“Hello.”

She combed her fingers through her hair, arranged the entire length over one shoulder, covering a breast.

He folded his arms and crossed one ankle over the other, leaning against the desk holding the stereo system. He didn’t have much in the room because he rarely spent nights there. A bed. A chest of drawers. A desk. That was about it.

As she continued to stare at him, Johnnie walked around, checking beneath the lamp on the desk for a hidden microphone or camera. He pulled out the drawers in the chest, eyed the inside, before rubbing his fingertips against every inch of the wood. He repeated the process at his desk and the headboard of his bed.

She studied him, confusion drawing her copper-colored brows together. She chewed on her full, bottom lip.

With Arms Wide Open
began to play and Johnnie stilled, listening to the passionate words about the desire to show his son everything. Christopher had played this song for Megs at the wedding celebration they’d had after their civil service, even though he hadn’t known she was having a boy. The thought was still the same had she had a little girl. His nostrils flared.

“Are you all right?”

Johnnie narrowed his eyes at her. “Who the fuck sent you?”

Her brown eyes widened. “Whoever sent the other girls,” she answered without hesitation. “I’m not sure. Just say I’m a freelancer and one of the other girls couldn’t make it, so my friend called me. Asked me if I wanted to take the chick’s place. And here I am.”

Useless to ask for names, since they weren’t regulars and, instead hired whores.

“So no one hired you to fuck Outlaw?”

She frowned. “Why would someone hire me to do that?”

“To fuck with his relationship with his wife.”

“Seems silly. She’s not here, is she? How would that interfere with their marriage?”

Either she was a damn good actress or she really didn’t know that all someone had to do was tell Megs Christopher had fucked another woman and their marriage would be interfered with.

“Besides,” the whore continued, “she’s a biker’s wife. I’m sure she understands infidelity and betrayal.” She spat the last word. “I was on his lap. I felt his erection. He wanted to fuck me and would have if there hadn’t been all these people here.”

“If you think that, then you’re a goddamn fool. He couldn’t help but get a dickstand with the way you were grinding your pussy against him. But, if he wanted you, he would’ve fucked you and not cared who was here.”

She lowered her lashes and laid back on the bed, opening her legs. Her bare pussy lips and glistening clit winked at him. He could lose himself in this woman, forget the torment of Megs for a long as it took him to fuck. No names would be exchanged. No more talk. Nothing, but the sound of the music filling the room and the memories of Megs’s cries in his head.

Undressing in silence, he watched as she rubbed her pussy. He took a condom out of his desk drawer and gloved his cock in it before climbing on top of her and settling between her legs.

Surprise entered her eyes. “We aren’t going to kiss?”

No. He hadn’t kissed one woman since he’d tasted Megs’s mouth. Instead of answering the beauty beneath him, he thumbed her clit and she groaned. He bent his head and licked her nipple, rewarded when her pussy heated a little more. He inserted two fingers inside her juiciness and he sucked in a breath. She arched against him and moaned, rocking against his hand. He bit her nipple, increased the pressure of his thumb on her clit, the in-and-out speed of his fingers. A keening wail began to escape her but she bit down on her lip, catching the sound in her throat that his kiss could’ve captured.

Holding her hips in place, he sank into her and she expanded around him, her velvety softness just the haven he needed. Her lips brushed against his chest and a shiver went through him. She wrapped her long legs around his waist, clutching him tighter to her body, and lifting her hips to take him deeper.

“Just one kiss,” she whispered. “Please.”

Her voice sent him over the edge and he shuddered and groaned, filling the condom and going still. He was breathing hard and heavy, but it surprised him at how sated he felt. More sated then he’d felt in months.

He rolled off her and stared at the ceiling, at a loss for words. He covered his eyes with his forearm, hoping she got the message and leave him now that they’d fucked. But, no, of course things wouldn’t be so simple. He felt the condom being pulled off his cock a moment before she wrapped her mouth around his dick, allowing the head to hit the back of her throat. She relaxed her throat, took him deeper, and Johnnie grunted, lifting on his elbows to see her lips stretched around half his dick, her cheeks hollowed as she sucked him hard. He fisted her hair and wrapped it around his hand, pulling on her head, hoping the slight pain he caused encouraged her to suck him harder and faster. He pumped his hips to her deep slurps and his head lulled back.
