“He’s out?” Ellen said with a knowing laugh.

“I-I think so,” Meggie said quietly. She squirmed, feeling young and immature. But in her house, sex wasn’t discussed. “We…he…we…”

“God, babe, spit it out. Your cheeks are as red as Rudolph’s balls.”

Meggie giggled and huffed out a breath. “He didn’t use a condom last night,” she said in a rush.

Instead of being shocked, Ellen just shrugged. “That’s interesting. But,
yeah, I can see why that might freak you out. Get some. Just make sure they’re magnum.”

“What the fuck you bitches doin’
in a goddamn drugstore with that fuckin’ motherfucker on the loose?”

Meggie jumped ten feet in the air at the sound of Christopher’s growl. He was already shoving more money in
to Ellen’s hands. “Pay for this shit. Kiera is already on Traveler’s bike.” He glared at Meggie. “You. Come with me. We’ll wait for you outside, Ellen. And don’t be fuckin’ long.” He looked down at Meggie, his green eyes bright with fury. “Are you okay?”

Meggie swallowed at the tenderness in his tone. “Fine, Christopher,” she whispered, then braced herself for him to yell and holler about how she couldn’t use his Christian name.

He grabbed her hand and guided her outside, where about a dozen bikers waited. It confused Meggie to see Kiera making out with another guy, whom she assumed was Traveler. Christopher glanced at them and Meggie waited for a confrontation. Instead, he handed her a helmet.

“Does that hurt your feelings?”

He frowned in confusion. “What?”

“Kiera. Her and…and Traveler…? You know, Traveler was the name of General Lee’s horse?”

Christopher grinned. “Up on Civil War history, are you?”

She nodded. “I love
Gone With the Wind
. That’s dorky, huh?”

“Nope.”

She fell silent. He was avoiding her question and—

“As for Kiera—“ H
e paused to light a cigarette and take a puff—“she’s fucked half the brothers in the club. Ellen has fucked even more than that. They just like the other bitches in that sense.”

“So
I could fuck anyone in the club too?” she teased.

All humor evaporated from Christopher. “You wanna fuck another fucker?”

“I was just joking.”

“Don’t fuckin’
joke about that,” he growled. “Am I fuckin’ clear?”

Meggie wrapped her arms around her waist and nodded.

“Yo’, Outlaw,” Val called. “Where the fuck is that slow bitch?”

“Right here, you fucking prick,” Ellen said, hustling out of the door, loaded down with bags.

“Jesus, what the fuck did you buy?” Christopher asked.

“Things,” Meggie said. Her stomach chose that moment to growl.

“What? You ain’t ate enough today or somethin’?”

“I wasn’t hungry,” she returned sulkily.

“What the fuck does that mean?”

“It means she ain’t fucking ate today,” Ellen called.

Christopher glared at her, then turned and mounted his bike in one smooth motion. “Climb on,” he ordered.

Meggie hurried to him and gingerly climbed behind h
im. The pipes of a dozen Harleys roared to life and she wrapped her arms around Christopher’s waist, pressing her cheek against his middle patch, wanting to forget everything but Christopher.

Chapter
18

Outlaw
groaned, his body shuddering as he emptied his cum inside Megan. He refused to allow her to close those big, blue eyes of hers. He wanted her to see him while she came and watch him while he came. He wanted her to witness him at his most vulnerable—inside of her, surrounded by her gripping heat and spilling into her.

He collapsed on top of her, breathing heavily. He knew he couldn’t keep his
weight on her too long for fear of crushing or smothering her. She squirmed under him and he felt himself growing hard again. She moaned, opening her legs wider. He sank deeper and raised himself up on his elbows, beginning a slow, steady rhythm.

She’d been quiet after they returned to the clubhouse, her thoughts far away. He thought maybe it had something to do with her run in with Snake. Even though she’d told him she hadn’t eaten at the mall today, she merely picked over her food. Instead of socializing, Christopher announced he and Megan would retire early.

Behind closed doors, she’d uttered one, meaningful statement. “Snake is the spitting image of my father.”

Christopher hadn’t commented one way or the other. However, Megan was sharp and it wasn’t a stretch to believe her quietness
had
been due to her run in with Snake, but not for the reasons first suspected. Like fear. No doubt fear played a big part of it, but Outlaw remembered Megan telling him Snake’s claim of avenging his father. If she believed she and Snake were related, then she must’ve been thinking…speculating…concluding—about Boss’s death and who was responsible.

He’d gone and taken a shower, his mind searching for plausible excuses if she confronted him. No matter the excuse, he doubted she’d ever forgive him if she knew he’d killed Boss.
He’d washed away his alarm—quite a foreign feeling. As was his fear earlier when Ellen called and told him about the confrontation. Oh, he’d been livid, but the hard edges of his fury had been dulled by gut-wrenching fear. The moment the voting ended, he’d ordered his captains to prepare for a run. Instead of having to drive all the way out to the mall, he’d found her at the drugstore, studying
condoms.
Of all fucking things.

After his shower, he’d told her to take one.

Her smile had been sad. “I’d really love a hot bath, Christopher.”

He’d shrugged, wanting to lash out at her for insisting on calling him
Christopher
. Ever since he’d heard his name in her sweet voice, he veered between thinking of himself as Outlaw and remembering he was also Christopher. Megan Foy was going to be the death of him. She drove him up a fucking wall. She wanted a bath instead of a shower? Fine. As long as he got her the fuck away from him for a little while. “Then take one.”

“No, thank you. I don’t like the mildew around the tub.” She’d turned on her heel and locked herself in the bathroom.

If he had a soul, he would’ve sat her down and confessed to Boss’s murder. Instead, soulless motherfucker he was, he’d unlocked the door and crashed to a halt. She’d been standing in the shower, her body pink from the hot water, her nipples a deeper shade. Her long hair plastered to her face, shoulders, and back. And lathered soap covered her blonde pussy hairs. She held her hands in front of her breasts and Christopher told himself to let her be. She looked so fucking young, his heart and his head hurt, and he’d felt as vile and evil as he ever had.

They’d stared at one another, then her gaze dropped to his dick, hard with want, almost touching his fucking navel. From that moment on, his dick had been in control, telling his legs to move as fast as fuck. His dick needed Megan’s pussy, and it refuse
d to let Christopher’s conscience interfere.

He’d taken her in the shower before helping her to clean up. With a towel wrapped around her hair and one around her body, they’d gone back into the bedroom. Christopher had bent her over his desk and fucked her again. Her
body was sensitive as hell, responding to him the moment he touched her. She’d trembled when he’d leaned over her, his fingers gripping her hips, his dick pounding into her. He’d suckled the tender skin on her neck and she’d cried out his name while she came.

Once he blew his load
, he’d pulled out of her, using the damp towel from her hair to wipe the juices away from her pussy and her thighs. He’d sat her in the middle of the bed and then combed out her hair until it hung in waves around her. That had been an hour ago and he was fucking her yet again.

He slipped his tongue passed her lips, using it to fuck her mouth just as his dick fucked her pussy. Her lids closed and he wanted to demand she open them, but he decided not to press it. Instead, he slammed into her and she whimpered.

They finished together and Christopher rolled off her, burying his head in the pillow while his breathing came under control.

“Snake is my brother.”

Christopher tensed at the soft words. She wasn’t questioning that fact, merely making a statement she wanted confirmed. While he could appease that curiosity, if she probed deeper she’d make the connection Snake was gunning for
him
because he’d killed Big Joe. When she did, he was fucked. Fuck it. He hadn’t intended to keep her anyway. This wasn’t no place for her to live. She mightn’t have been a virgin anymore, but she was still innocent. She didn’t have blood on her hands and a head filled with murder, gun-running, and drug shipments.

Fuck.
“Yes. He’s your brother. Three years younger than me.”

She went silent, so Christopher turned his head toward her. She was staring at him and he couldn’t decipher her feelings.
If she’d guessed her connection to Snake, then she had to have guessed what he’d did to Boss.

“My parents
never told me I have a brother.”

Momentary reprieve. He could answer honestly. “Your mother didn’t know. Just like Snake doesn’t know about you.”

“How’s that possible?” she asked tightly, sitting up to glare at him. “You knew about me.”

Yeah, because Boss had talked to Christopher about his little girl
, swearing him to secrecy, before he’d lost his fucking mind. “Yeah? I did?”

“Yes!” she
hissed. “You didn’t question me once when I came here looking for my daddy. You tried to search for my ID but didn’t find it and just accepted I was who I said I was.”

As he said,
sharp as a tack.

“If
I saw the resemblance between me and Snake, why won’t he?”

“Too self-absorbed.”

Another long stretch of silence while she studied him. He could allow her to loop back to information about her father’s death like a dickhead or he could steer the conversation in another direction. With Megan, it would be tricky. She’d recognize his tactics and find a way to get back on the subject.

Nope, not happening.

“I was thinkin’ me and you could visit my mother. I have a house in Long Beach and she lives in it.” He’d been meaning to talk to her about this anyway. With Snake slithering about, getting her away was important to keep her safe. “We can stay with her through the New Year. Take a break from all this shit.”

Megan frowned. “
What about the club? I thought you needed to straighten things out.”

“Yeah, I do,” he admitted. “But I know how important the holidays are to you.”

She smiled. “Okay,” she breathed, sounding pleased and happy. “When do we leave?”

“Next Saturday,” he told her
, unable to stop his satisfaction at her excitement. He couldn’t wait until she actually saw his place.

She sat up and he groaned, her pink nipples begging him to lean over and lick them.

“The day after Black Friday?”

Chri
stopher scowled. He was fantasizing about fucking her and she was dreaming about shopping. “I ain’t gettin’ up at no one o’clock in the fuckin’ mornin’ for some bullshit, Megan,” he snapped, annoyed at how different they were thinking.

She nuzzled his neck and suckled his earlobe, teasing her breasts against his arm. His dick jumped, fire shooting through his entire body. She affected him like no other girl ever had. She licked the pulse point at the base of his neck.

“You don’t have to go,” she breathed. Skating her fingers across his stomach, she scooted up to rain kisses along his jaw. “I told you I know how to drive. I drove you to the hospital, didn’t I?”

“Baby, in a minute, you gonna be drivin’ your sweet little ass down on my cock,” Christopher murmured, pulling
her closer and taking her mouth in a hard kiss.

She giggled when he pulled his lips away, her cheeks flushed and her eyes dark and needy. “So will you let me borrow your pick-up?”

He paused midway pulling her onto his lap. “Ain’t no fuckin’ way you goin’ by yourself.” Holding one hand on her waist and using the other hand to guide his cock to her entrance, he sucked her nipple. She moaned and wiggled, assisting his invasion of her body. Her tight heat stretched around him, but she bounced up and he bit her shoulder. “Take me, Megan,” he growled. He rubbed her clit, rewarded with the sexiest sound he’d ever heard, the one unique to her. He could spend the rest of his days listening to that soft whimper-sigh and watching her body, pink from their lovemaking.

She shimmied down his dick until he filled her completely and Christopher closed his eyes. She was wet and tight, the flames inside of her burning him and wrapping him in the wonder
of all that was Megan. Her mouth touched his and he swore his heart melted.

Her finger
s tangled in his hair, her lips soft and plump against his. “Look at me, Christopher,” she whispered.

When he opened h
is eyes, he found her staring, searching for an entry to his soul. Gripping her hips, he drove up, taking control. “I love makin’ love to you.” Kissing her, he pulled her down and pushed up into her. “Tastin’ you.” Hearing her gasp, he curled his lip and repeated the hard motion. “Hearin’ your voice.” Her regard held him captive, spurring his deep drives, and not letting go even when she cried his name and came around him.

“Jesus. Fuck. God,” he managed in a deep, rough voice he barely recognized as his own. He held her body still, a slave to her passion, and shattered inside her, her pussy walls throbbing while his cum simmered into her.

She fell against his sweaty chest, breathing as hard as he was. Closing his eyes, he rested his head against his headboard, still joined with her, where he wished he could remain forever. Locked in his bedroom, connected to her in the basest way, it was just them. No Snake or Boss. No reminders what was between them wasn’t real.
Couldn’t
be real. It was too pure, too sweet. Much like Megan.

He breathed in the scent of sex, her hair smelling of cherry blossoms, according to her shampoo and conditioner bottles.

He kissed the top of her head, remembering the conversation their lust had interrupted. He massaged her scalp. “I’ll take you shoppin’, Megan. But we leavin’ at five and stayin’ three hours tops.”

She leaned back, her smile not quite hiding her wince. “If you insist,” she murmured
in her just-fucked voice.

Something in her tone alerted Christopher that he’d walked into her trap. “You little bitch, you played me.” He couldn’t help but admire how deftly she’d gotten her way. He pulled her off his dick and plo
pped her next to him. She must’ve had this shit planned before he ever mentioned going to visit his mother. Two could play her game. “You have money or credit cards, yeah?” he asked with a straight face, knowing fucking well she didn’t.

Her face fell. “No,” she said in a small voice.

“There is a God! I’m off the hook.”

“Yeah. Sure. Whatever, Christopher.”

“You can’t think you’d get me up so early
and
have me foot the fuckin’ bill, too.”

Drawing her legs up to her chest, she rested her head on her knees, turning away from him. Christopher turned her face back to his and frowned at how her eyes were brimming. What the fuck?

“Megan—“

She swiped at an escaping tear. “It’s okay. Really. I just thought you’d buy me things like you do them.”

He didn’t have to ask who
them
was. Anger flashed through him that she stuck on shit he’d put behind him and all but forgotten about. “I’m not puttin’ up with your jealous bullshit. Why the fuck should I take you shoppin’ again, anyway, when you bought out the fuckin’ mall with as much money as the three of you combined had for you to buy whatever the fuck you wanted?”

“Liar,” she returned. “You didn’t give them money just for me since they bought more than I did.” She turned her furious gaze to him and scooted out of his reach, closer to the wall.

He wasn’t sure what it was about that fucking wall, but whenever she was angry or afraid, she inched closer to it, like it could open the fuck up, yank her the fuck in, and shield her from whatever bullshit she faced.

“Anyway,” she went on, talking
to
the wall since her back remained to him. She had perfect curves, a smooth back indenting to a tiny waist and flaring back out to a beautiful ass and nice hips. She was slim but curvy as a motherfucker.
