Chapter 2 (Jase)

My nightmares have finally come true. We’ve moved to a hick town, but that’s not even the worst of it. My parents say we are staying here and that Dad is going to buy a ranch. Great, just what I’ve always wanted. Heather and I both bitched about moving away from New York and all of our friends. Now I have to start my senior year in a new school. I played football in my old school, and Dad says that Texas is huge on football, but in this little town? I guess I’ll find out. Heather and April come into my room and sit down. “What’s up, girls? Got something to say?” I ask.

They both look at me like
I’m crazy. “No, this just sucks. I want to be back in New York, not here in ‘butt-fuck’ nowhere.  It’s boring as hell,” Heather says, No shit! I give her the duh look.

All we have seen since we got here is old people and the four walls of our house
. I wonder what all the young kids are doing. We haven’t even seen any of them, but I guess Heather and I would have to leave the house for that.  There’s not much here except one burger
joint, a movie theatre,
and
a place called Nana's which, I’m guessing, is where we get food. There’s a few other stores and a bar, but I’m too young to get into it.

April looks at me
. “I don’t know what your problem is.  I like it here so far. It’s pretty and the people I’ve seen are really nice. I met this one girl and her brother.  They talked to us for a while. She’s so beautiful, and her brother is so hot. They said their names are Maggie and Adam Summers.  Their parents own a huge ranch.  If you two would have come with us, you could have met them, too.” Now it’s my turn to look at her like she’s crazy. I can't believe she likes it here, wait a minute… when did she meet up with this Maggie and Adam? April should not be talking to people. My little sister is way too trusting for her own good.

“April, really, what do you see in this borin
g ass town? New York was better,” Heather says. I agree.

“Where did you meet up with these people, April?”
I ask with a scowl.

She looks at me for a second
. “We saw them at Sam’s, the burger joint. They were there with a lot of other teens, but they stayed behind when their friends left. After a while, we were getting ready to leave when they came over and started talking to us.  Maggie told us all about the town and said that they were happy to see some new faces,” April said.

Whatever
. I kick my sisters out of my room so I can get some sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a long day at a new school, but maybe I will meet some hot chicks. That’s always bonus!

My alarm goes off a seven in the morning. Fuck, I hate this time of day. I lay here for a while, just thinking about how much I don’t want to be here. After about a half-hour, I drag myself out of bed because I knew that Mom will come in soon to see if I’m awake. I find some clothes and jump into the shower. When I’m showered and ready, I go to check on Heather to see if she’s up yet. I’ll be damned. She’s already showered and dressed. She’s never ready this early.  “Hey, sis. You feeling alright? I’ve never seen you ready this early before. I’m shocked!” I say with a smirk.

She
throws her pillow at me, I easily dodge it. “Go to hell, Jase. I’m only up and ready because April seems to think that we should get to school early.”

Yeah, I don’t think so. I’m not getting there until I
have to. “I don’t care what she thinks. I’ll be there before the bell,” I say. Heather just smiles at me. I know she’s thinking the same thing. April’s just starting high school so all three of us would be in the same school this year.
“So, big bro.  Ready for some breakfast?” Heather asks. I want to say no but know that, sooner or later, Mom will be up here kicking my ass down the stairs and out the door without anything to eat so I follow Heather down.

Mom,
Dad, and April are all eating when we come in. They look up as if we grew extra heads overnight. “What? You didn’t think we would be up and ready for this shitty first day of school?” I ask.

Dad
points his finger at me in warning. “Watch what you say, Jase. Why can’t you two be a little happier? Who knows? Maybe you’ll meet some hot girls and guys. You two might even enjoy going to this school.” I smirk at him. Yeah, he knows I’ll be looking.

Mom
slaps his arm playfully. “I hope all three of you have a good day and make new friends…maybe even try out for the football and track teams,” Mom says. Yeah, we’ll see. I wasn't even sure if I wanted to try out yet. Who knows? Maybe I’ll hate everyone here.

Heather and I finish
eating our cereal. “We better get going or we’ll be late,” I said. April jumps up from her chair, knocking it over, and was out the door before I even finish my sentence. Heather and I just stare at the door, then we all start laughing. Wow, okay.

Bye, Mom and Dad,” Heather and I say, walking out the door.

I
t
didn't take us long to get to school because it was only five blocks from home. I am not looking forward to this. Heather and April both get out of my truck. I tell them
to go ahead, and I’ll meet up with them later. I sit there, thinking about my old friends and school, really wanting to be there and not here. Instead, I was the new kid for my senior year. Damn, I hate this shit.

Getting out of
my truck, I look around for Heather, wondering if she went into school already. I see her standing with two other girls who, from behind, look hot. Well, damn, it didn’t take her long to meet new people. I yell out my sister’s name. She isn’t even paying attention, but the other two girls turn around. Both of them are hot, but the tall one is
really
hot.

Heather’s looking at something so I follow her gaze and see
a bunch of guys laughing…except one. He looks like one girl standing with my sister. I try calling out for Heather again, but she still doesn’t acknowledge me. Damn, sis, get a grip. The one girl turns back to Heather, trying to get her attention. I'm almost standing behind her when she finally looks at me
.
“Oh, hey, Jase. Sorry, I didn’t hear you.  This is Maggie and Amy. I just met them,” Heather says, pointing at them.

Didn't April say something about meeting Maggie last night
?  April was right. This girl is beautiful…no, gorgeous. She looks like a Cover Girl model. I think I’m going to like this school, after all. Heather looks back at me. “This is my brother, Jase.” They both look back to me again, checking me out, but I’m far more interested in Maggie.

T
hey both say, “It’s nice to meet you, Jase.” Damn, she
even has a sexy voice.

I turn
back to Heather.
“Sis, we need to head into the office. Let’s go.” I know that not saying anything to the girls was rude, but whatever.

We hear some guy yelling
Maggie’s name. “Maggie, get you’re your butt over here! I need to talk to you…NOW!” I wonder if that’s her boyfriend. By the way she's rolling her eyes and Amy’s laughing, I would have to say no.

Amy turns
back around.
“Aww, Mags, looks like your overprotective brother doesn’t like this,”
she says. Wow, I’m not even that bad with my sisters. He looks ready to drag her away.

Maggie looks like she wants to hurt
her. “Thanks a lot for the help, Amy. It was really nice meeting both of you. Heather, maybe we can meet up for lunch or something.” Her brother yells out again and she sticks her middle finger up at him. The three of us laugh.

“Sure, I’d like to meet up for lunch,
” Heather says.

Both girls
start to walk towards the school.
“Maggie Grace Summers, get your ass over here now!” Wow, he looks ready to blow his shit, and Maggie looks ready to kill
him.

“Fuck off, Adam! You’re not Dad so stop acting like it!”
She yells back. I'd say he is way too overprotective when it comes to his sister.

“Holy shit.  If that was you yelling, I would SO kick your ass,
” Heather says.

I laugh
. “No worries. You know I wouldn’t do that but, damn, that guy is WAY too overprotective of her.”

She looks
at me, raising her eyebrows.
“Yeah, just think…she has five other brothers that are the same way. If they all are like Adam, I feel sorry for her because I can’t see any guy having the balls to ask her on a date.” Fuck it. I don’t date, but I’d still bang her. I DO feel a little sorry for her if all her brothers are like that, though.

Adam
and his buddies start walking towards us. “Maybe I’m about to get an earful about staying away from his hot sister,” I say to Heather. She laughed
.

Hey, I’m Adam. Sorry, about making that scene, but she’s my sister. You understand,” Adam says.

“Sure, I understand. I have two sisters of my own, even if I’m
not that overprotective,” I say and we all laugh.  “I’m Jase, by the way.  You boys play football?”

Adam
grins. “Yeah, we do. You?  Oh, this is Josh, Jake, Travis, and Pete.”

“Hey, nice meeting you all.

This is my sister, Heather. Yeah, I played at my other school,” I say. I’m thinking I will like it here, after all. Adam and his buddies seem pretty cool, and he’s got a hot as hell sister.

“You should come to tryouts on Thursday.  Maybe we can even play after school,” Adam says.
I guess it wouldn’t hurt to make some friends here, and what better friends than guys who love football as much as I do.

“Yeah, that would be cool.  Just let me know where and when,”
I say.

The bell rings and we all
file into the school. Heather and I meet up with April, who is already in the office, and get our classes.  Adam and Pete are in my first class of the day…Bio.  We talk for most of the period.

Maggie is
in my second class, which is History, I'm going to like this one. I’ll get to stare at Miss Gorgeous every day.

When I take my eyes off Maggie, I notice her friend staring her me. She’s cute and I would probably do her if she wasn’t friends with Maggie.

I hear Maggie’s sweet laugher... What is she laughing about? Probably the fact that her friend is drooling all over me! Normally I would be trying to charm her into my bed or hers. But I just don’t have any interest in trying…. Taking a sit in front of Maggie next to some guy. We both turn around to face the girls.

“So girls… what’s funny?” he asks.

Maggie starts to open her month but cringes in pain “Ouch… what was that for?” she glares at the other girl. I hear her friend grumble out ‘don’t say anything’. Me and the other guy laugh, turning back in our seats only for him to turn back towards her again.

“Nice… Jenny now he knows you were drooling all over your papers” he tells her.

Maggie laughs and the other girl curses him under her breath. What didn’t she think I’d notice!!

“Thanks Clay
… I get kicked for just opening my mouth and you say it and only get cursed at” he looks back at her and winks, makes me wanna beat his ass… Shit this girl is getting to me. Just then the teacher walks in.

At lunch,
I meet up with Adam, Pete, and Jake. We are just sitting down to eat when Heather walks in with Maggie, Amy, and some other hot girl. Josh runs up to Maggie and slaps her ass. Okay, that kind of pisses me off. I look over at Adam, who also looks pissed. “What the hell is Josh doing hitting my fucking sister?  I’ll beat his ass,” Adam growls.

Maggie t
ells Josh off, but he just laughs. When he grabs her, Amy steps in the middle of them. Josh pushes her
out of the way and picks up Maggie. Before I know what’s happening, the four of us are over there. “JOSH, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?” Adam roars. Josh looks pale.

He
puts Maggie down and starts to turn around, but not before she slaps him across the face. “Don’t you EVER do that again? I told you to leave me alone, Josh”. The girls leave us standing there.

Shit, dude. How many times do you have to be told to leave Mags alone before Adam beats your ass?” Pete says, looking at him like he’s a moron. The look on Josh’s face says that he doesn’t give a shit. He would probably do just about anything to get his hands on her.

“Whatever. I don’t give a shit what any of you say,” Josh says and walks away.

As
we head back to the table to finish eating, Adam catches up to his sister and says something in her ear. She nods and Adam walks back to the table, scowling.   I'm guessing this is going to be a long day after the shit that josh just pulled. “What class do you have next, Jase?” Adam asks.

“Gym,” I say.

He gets a huge grin on his face. “Well, it looks like we’re all in the next class together.” He looks at Maggie and Amy as they walk up to the table. “You two have gym next?” They both nod. Well, looks like I have another class to look forward to.
