“Rub me,” she said, and she pressed his hand to the front of her mound. He easily found her clit. “Yes,” she said, “like that.”

As he moved, he rubbed her as she had shown him. “Yes,” she said, her hands grabbing at his hips, pressing him hard against
her. “Don’t stop doing that.” A moment later, she squeezed his flesh hard and said, “Now don’t move your hips. Hold very still
and feel how my body needs this.”

Although it was difficult, Hal stopped thrusting and rubbed Michelle’s clit. Slowly, he felt her tighten, then felt waves
of clenching muscles ripple along his cock. He felt her climax. He had never experienced anything like this before, but the
sensation was almost irresistible. It was as if she were pulling him along into her orgasm.

He tensed, unable to hold still anymore. As if she had read his mind, she moved her hips and said, “Yes. Come with me.”

He thrust only two or three times before he came, pumping his semen into her.

“Honey,” his wife’s voice said as she entered the bedroom. “I’m sorry. Were you asleep?”

“No,” Hal said. “Just daydreaming.”

“What’s that you’re reading?” She picked up the magazine and looked at the picture.

“I was actually thinking about getting that for you for your birthday,” Hal said. “I think you’d look smashing.” She would
look so good in that robe!

Hal’s wife grinned. “I’d look like a lady of the evening.”

“Yes, you would,” Hal said, grinning. “And what’s wrong with that? That was just what I was dreaming about.”

“Mmm. I like that thought.” She looked back at the page. “How about we get the garters and stockings to go with it?”

“What a great idea,” Hal said.

aking a long-term relationship work isn’t easy. I read somewhere that the average length of a marriage two hundred years ago
was ten years. Men were killed in battle; women died in childbirth. Now, however, we want our relationship to last thirty,
forty, even fifty or more years and we want the sexual side of it to be fun, now and forever. And it can be, but that takes
thought and effort.

Since I was a newlywed, society has changed radically, and many of these changes make it easier to have fun in the bedroom
at all stages of life. Now that people talk more openly about sex, there are books like mine, articles in magazines, TV programs,
and Internet sites—all aimed at helping partners make the most of their long-term relationships. And if more serious problems
arise, doctors, sex therapists, and counselors are available to help. These professionals are easy to talk to, as well as
being understanding and knowledgeable. And they have many new techniques and therapies at their disposal.

I am more active, healthier, and younger in attitude than my mother was at my age, and I expect my daughters to be healthier
and younger still. Ed and I tease each other about our eventual demise. We want to go together while experiencing simultaneous
orgasm in front of a roaring fire in our retirement home, at the age of at least ninety-five. And if we have anything to say
about it, we will.

I hope you picked up a few tips from this book to keep your relationship new year after year. Maybe, while reading, you bookmarked
a few ideas. Maybe you tried telling stores in the dark or playing out a control fantasy. Maybe you ordered from a catalog
or logged onto a “hot chat” line. Or maybe you will.

Perhaps the ideas in this book have merely started you thinking along different and more creative lines. Or maybe you have
your own new and exciting ideas, things that I didn’t mention. But I certainly hope that something you read triggered one
or more evenings of terrific lovemaking. What better result could I hope for?
