A Minor Technicality

Coming in 2014

Blythe Conners was definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was just a small town girl who had been taken by the shiny lights of New York City. She never expected to witness her boyfriend murdering someone, or to discover that even with a simple name like Michael Johnson, he was actually from a powerful crime conglomerate. The situation has put her life in danger, and now she is on the run, with nothing more than the clothes on her back. She only has enough money in her pocket for a child's bus ticket to get home, so she hopes her youthful appearance will finally prove useful.

Luca Morelli is working one of the biggest cases of his career. All he needs is one breakthrough to take down the Fitzgerald crime family - just one key witness to a major crime to help him. Frustrated by the lack of movement with the case, he gives in to the demands of his long-distance fiancée, and plans to spend a week with her family. What he doesn't expect is the twelve year old girl sitting next to him on the bus. She's precocious and funny, but she's on the bus to the wrong city, alone and with no money. The least he can do is help her get home safely. There's something about her, though, that has his senses on alert. He can't help but feel she isn't what she seems, and every so often, she acts much older than twelve years old.

***Loosely based on the classic film The Major and The Minor***

It's Always the Quiet Ones

Coming in 2014

Lana's just realized that her boyfriend is a total tool. Yep, you guessed it. She caught him with someone else's ankles around his waist, and he just happened to forget to wear pants that day. Furious that she let the jerk string her along for such a long time, she lets her best friend convince her that a night on the town is in order. She hasn't barhopped since college, but at their third pub, Lana's heart stops. The sexiest man she has ever seen is at the billiards table with a bunch of hunky firemen. Their eyes lock just like in romance novels, and Lana's thinking she just may believe in love at first sight.

Scott has spent his adult life making up for lost time. The penultimate geek in high school, he'd been the always overlooked, quiet, acne-covered guy in the back of the class. If only his classmates could see him now. Scott had shed the geeky persona, put on some muscles, and become an everyday hero. He was the most requested firefighter in the district's annual "Hotties of Hanover" calendar, and he took a different girl home every weekend. He wasn't looking to settle down, but fate had a funny way of intervening. Out for the crew's weekly pool tournament, Scott is shocked when he spots Lana Parker across the bar. She's even more beautiful than he remembered, and Scott realizes he has a second chance to make her his. The only problem? She doesn't seem to know who he is.
