Kate
!” I heard Jared bellow from the front of the house as we walked in through the back door. I shook my head as I heard heavy steps rushing towards us and I made sure to step in front of Stacy.

“Chill out, guys,” I said calmly when they practically flew into the kitchen snarling. “Stacy came to talk to me about Kyle. It’s all good.”

“How does he know Kyle?” Dean asked as he eyed over Stacy with murder. “You’re the wolf we’ve been smelling all over the property. You shot Kate, didn’t you?”

“He dies,” Jared growled and launched himself towards Stacy.

“No he doesn’t,” I shouted, putting all my authority in my voice. Jared and Dean instantly froze as if my words made them but it had a different side effect on Stacy… Who suddenly was rubbing himself against me.

“Oh god, a real Alpha Bitch. So hot. Boss me around too,” he moaned as he moved his hard-on against my ass, wrapping his arms around me as his lips found my neck.

“Cut that shit out,” I ordered, pushing away from him. “I’m taken and you know that. You’re making this situation worse.”

“But you’re not claimed yet. There’s still time to sway you,” he purred as he reached for me. I moved out of the way and shook my head.

“That’s something I plan to remedy real soon so keep your head, okay?”

“What?” Dean gasped as Jared moved in front of me.

“What did you mean by that?” he asked in his deep, sexy voice. “Are you serious?”

“Yes,” I sighed, not wanting to have told them like this. “Sheriff Swick made me realize I was holding back with you guys until this whole thing was settled. I felt guilty that you could get hurt trying to protect me and didn’t want to give my heart fully when I could lose either of you as I have just about everyone else I’ve loved.”

“Kate, we’re practically impossible to kill,” Dean reminded me softly as he molded his body against mine.

“I know, but not everything you’ve told me has sunk in yet. I needed time to piece everything together in my head.”

“So we can claim you?” Jared asked as he cupped my cheek. I saw the longing and hope in his eyes and I just about melted.

“Yes. Let’s handle things with Stacy and see if we can get Kyle behind bars and then you can claim me. I’m scared shitless but I love you both and I want us together always. I’m happy. Happier than I’ve ever been in my life and that’s with my gramp just passing away and getting shot and almost raped by Sean. I’m still happy. And I want that forever even if I have to turn furry to make you mine.”

“Oh, baby,” Jared whispered, emotion swimming in his eyes before he leaned down and kissed me softly. “We’ll make you so happy and you’ll love being a wolf. You already love to run. Imagine heightened vision and a sense of smell that show you everything you’ve been missing all these years.”

“Sounds nice,” I agreed. Dean turned me in his arms and growled before laying one on me as well.

“You heard her, she’s ours, so back off,” Jared growled as I made out with his brother. I’d let that slide since I was new to this whole wolf and Alpha Bitch thing. Besides, I was theirs now and they were mine. I got to keep both of them.

“Yeah, sorry, but could you turn down the hormone levels? I’m dying here.”

“Then suffer,” Dean said against my lips. “You shot our Kate so you deserve way worse than some squirming and a stiffy.” My hip vibrated and I reluctantly pulled away.

“It’s the Sheriff,” I told them as I went to answer it.

“He can know Stacy’s a wolf,” Dean said as I answered the phone. His meaning sunk in and I felt my eyes go wide. It threw me so badly that I didn’t even hear what the man was saying.

“I’m sorry, can you repeat that, Sheriff? Dean was just telling me something very interesting about you,” I mumbled before turning and hissing at Dean. “Seriously? Am I the only human around?”

“No,” Swick chuckled. “Your whole crew is and I know your friend Jamie is. I didn’t realize you knew about us.”

“Yeah, aren’t we all just full of surprises lately,” I drawled in my best sarcastic voice as I rubbed my temple with my free hand. Almost instantly Jared got my pills as Dean found me something to drink. “Dean says I should tell you that the guy is like you guys.” Yeah, that wasn’t vague or confusing. “Whatcha got for me, Sheriff?”

“Well that’s good to know but either way I have good news. His name is Stacy Carson, the only guest at the motel with a service record and no family in town. The district attorney says that Stacy has such an impeccable record that we can write this off as a sting operation gone wrong. The man needs to swear he didn’t mean to hit you, just act as if he was going to for Kyle’s sake but you turned and it got you.”

I flinched because that was the opposite of the truth. Stacy had been aiming for my heart and I turned at the last minute so it didn’t kill me. I shook my head and handed the phone to Jared before practically flopping down on the floor. Dean already had the pills in his hand and gave them to me.

“Just breathe, baby. Take this and just keep breathing.”

“Do you want me to tell the Sheriff you changed your mind?” Jared asked gently.

I shook my head and stared over at Stacy. “No. Make it happen. I just can’t hear all the details and not freak out that the man who almost killed me is standing in my kitchen.”

“I’m so sorry, Kate,” Stacy whispered as he knelt down in front of me.

“Give her some air. You’re not helping,” Dean snapped. I was glad he said it because it was what I needed but I couldn’t find the words right then.

Jared wrapped up the call and without a word sat on the floor with me and pulled me onto his lap. He didn’t hug me, he just moved me and let me make the move I needed.

“This is one of the reasons I love you both. You just get me,” I admitted in a whisper. I leaned against his broad chest and pulled one of his arms around me securely so he could comfort me without my feeling trapped. “Okay, fill me in.”

“Stacy turns everything over to the Sheriff about Kyle and trying to kill you. He’s already got deputies out to arrest Kyle. The district attorney will need a statement from Stacy and it’s over. Kyle goes to prison and Stacy testifies against him. Depending on the evidence, the DA hopes he can press Kyle into confessing in exchange for not going to a maximum security prison. Either way he’s looking at twenty years.”

“Can you handle all that for me?” I asked Jared, hating that I sounded so weak but I couldn’t face Kyle now that I knew for sure he had wanted me dead. “And someone needs to call Nate and Jamie. I’m pretty sure they’re going to hop on a plane soon.” I glanced between the two of them. “And I want to tell Jamie what’s going on. I can’t hide this from my best friend.”

“We’d never ask you to,” Dean chuckled. “Jamie’s cool. Tell her. This is a wolf’s version of a wedding. Nate will get it. I’ll talk to him and either he can explain things to Jamie or you can when she’s here.”

“And you?” I asked Stacy, finally meeting his eyes. “Are you good with the plan?”

“Yes. I was a part of all of this and you’re giving me a way to make things right on a silver platter while not asking for my head on it instead. I’m not stupid enough to pass that up.”

“Okay, then we have a plan,” I sighed as I took Dean’s hand in mine while still snuggling up with Jared. “It’s over.”

Chapter 14

Two days and lots of sex later Jamie and Nate showed up for the weekend. Unfortunately I hadn’t been paying attention to the time when Jared had pounced on me, so they saw
way
more than I’m sure they ever wanted to see of me.

“I want,” Nate whimpered from behind me as I rode Jared. I glanced over my shoulder so fast that I almost fell off his lap but Jared caught me in time. “How did I miss you were an Alpha Bitch all these years?”

“We’ll just go wait in the kitchen,” Jamie giggled as she grabbed Nate’s arm. “You guys have fun.”

“Glad you knock,” I grumbled.

“We did,” they both called back.

“Oh, my bad,” I snickered as they left the room. Then I focused back on Jared with a wide grin. “Now where were we?”

“Your friends walk in on us fucking, seeing you completely naked, and you still want to continue?” he asked with a shocked look.

“Apparently you guys are making me into a much freer woman.” I shrugged. I didn’t have an answer more than I was enjoying what we were doing so much I could give a shit who saw. “Make me scream so they hear it, Jared.”

“Gladly,” he growled as he grabbed my hips. He lifted me up and down so fast that I went wild, moving my tits to his face and moaning when he took a nipple in his mouth.

“Fuck, fuck,
fuck
!” I shouted as I came. Jared grunted and followed me right over.

“My turn,” Dean announced. I glanced up and smiled at him as I gave him a wink.

“Sure. I’ve got enough energy left for you.” That was all he needed to hear apparently. Seconds later I was spread out on Jared’s lap as his twin fucked me hard and fast. Of course Jared’s hands didn’t stay idle and they brought me again, screaming, and begging for release.

“It just keeps getting better and better,” Dean panted when he was spent. “Fuck, baby, you look completely debauched.”

“It’s the best look for her,” Jared purred as he ran his fingers between my legs after Dean pulled out of me. “One more?”

“I think we need to greet our guests,” I chuckled, still wanting what he offered. “Tonight you can have your way with me as many times as you want.”

“Me too?” Dean asked hopefully. “Jared’s gotten to eat you out so many times and I’ve only had you like that once. I want more.”

“I’ll suffer through it.” I quickly got cleaned up in the bathroom off the living room before the kitchen, glad neither of them were standing in the doorway so they didn’t seen me sneaking around naked. When I was done I stepped out probably still looking debauched but at least not nasty… And walked right into a fight.

“How could you not tear the guy up and bury the body?” Nate shouted as he pointed to Stacy. “He
shot
Kate!”

“Try it, asshole,” Stacy growled as he tried to get around Dean to Nate. “I’m tired of the insults. I made a mistake.”

Jamie was standing there watching them like a tennis match. She pinched the bridge of her nose and shouted. “
Enough
! Kate knows what she’s doing. If she says she believes the guy, then we let this play out. The DA needs Stacy now to lock up Kyle. If Kate hadn’t made the deal with Stacy, he wouldn’t have been so cooperative and Kate wouldn’t be safe from Kyle. I’m sure
none
of you have made poor choices that you regret later or anything but let’s cut him some slack.”

“Well said, Jamie,” I chuckled. “Anyone else want to misbehave and get spanked by my friend?”

“I do,” Stacy mumbled, staring at Jamie as if she was the best thing since sliced bread. I don’t think Jamie heard him because she was talking quietly to Nate and getting him to back off. I, on the other hand, heard him loud and clear and shot him a look. “I do.” He shrugged and sat down at the table. “Jamie, do you like apples? I just picked some fresh. Kate’s letting me crash here while this is all going down and I offered to help around the ranch.”

“Got anything to go with those apples, like caramel to dip them in?” she asked, glancing away from Nate.

“Is there any other way to eat apples?” Stacy chuckled and jumped up to go over to the fridge.

“Fine, you’ve forgiven the guy and we’re not here to discuss shredding him,” Nate grumbled as he threw his hands up in the air. “So what’s going on and why did I have to tell Jamie I’m a wolf?”

“Honey, I’ve known for a while,” Jamie drawled. “I just didn’t know that Dean and Jared were.”

“And Stacy, and Sheriff Swick. Apparently we’re the only two humans,” I chuckled, shaking my head. “I can’t believe we both knew and never told each other or him. How did you figure it out?”

“I keep the calendar and you’re oblivious to the date most of the time,” she snickered. “No man always leaves work early during the full moon or doesn’t take interviews around that time without drawing suspicion. That and he got really, really pissed once years ago and I saw his eyes flash a different color. I figured he was something different then. Add to that how often he growls and how rare he likes his meat, I figured werewolf.”

“That rare meat thing is just a myth. I like mine medium-well,” Stacy threw in. “But the rest of your reasoning was really sound and smart.”

“To answer Nate’s question, I wanted to tell you guys in person that Jared and Dean are claiming me before it happened.” Nate looked outraged and Jamie just looked confused.

“No, it’s too soon for that kind of commitment. You’ve known them less than two months.” Then he turned on his friends. “You know I’m right! I brought you in to protect her, give you a chance to feel at home somewhere after the shit time you had in the service and you claim my best friend? You didn’t even tell me she was an Alpha Bitch. Nice fucking friends!” He turned and stormed out the back door, slamming it behind him.

“I’ll go talk to him,” Dean sighed.

“I want to know what he meant about your time in the service before anyone’s claiming me or getting sex,” I said firmly. I didn’t like secrets. Jared winced and headed out after his brother. Then I glanced at Jamie and put on the best smile I could manage.
