She clutched the red souvenir he left behind, simultaneously grabbing onto it and the steering wheel of her beat up Mazda.

Visions of him pulling up her dress and taking total charge of her body in the way that he did made her wet down below. She couldn’t believe that he had the balls to do that to her. Even worse, she couldn’t believe she was so willing to let him. She had always prided herself on waiting for the right guy to make love to, especially after the way she was treated by Chad. So maybe six years was a little long to wait, but still… She had always told herself that she wouldn’t make the same mistake twice.

Until she met Colton Marcus.

Or should she say,
until Colton Marcus met her
.

As she drove, she could feel that his semen was still inside of her. There hadn’t been time for protection. Everything happened so fast. But then again, she had the feeling that a man like him didn’t have patience to wait for anything, including her. It was like she could sense that her only chance at all was to give into his wants immediately. She had no choice; she had to please him or else…

Taylor was desperate as she pulled her car off the long, winding back road that led to her apartment. She hadn’t seen another car in nearly ten minutes.
Perfect spot to park
, she thought.

Since she couldn’t shake the thoughts of what he had done to her, she had no choice but to give in. She grabbed the red pocket square that he left behind and started to rub the top of her wet panties with it. She reclined her seat back as far as it would go, then she imagined it was him on top of her, inside of her, kissing her madly as he thrusted his hardness in and out of her body with reckless abandon.

Her fingers began to work faster and harder into just the right spot. She could feel her body start to convulse. And just as she was about to climax, a giant truck roared past her car making it shake on the side of the road. She could have cared less at that point whether or not she was masturbating in public. She needed to release whatever was raging inside of her. One last press into her wet crotch, then her body exploded with wave upon orgasmic wave.

She collapsed back into the cracked leather seat of her car.

This can’t be good
, she thought.

At the very least, she took comfort in knowing that she’d never see Colton Marcus again. It was time to go home, go into a sleep coma, and put the billionaire author in her rearview mirror forever.

But no matter how hard she tried to sleep that night, she couldn’t shake what had happened between her and the author out of her mind. Taylor spent the next three hours of her life surfing the Internet, anything to soothe the longing she couldn’t deny she was feeling due to him.

And Taylor being Taylor, she couldn’t help but get caught up in the dark side of Colton Marcus- civil lawsuits, alleged illegitimate children, and even death threats. She knew it couldn’t all be true, but still. One thing had become abundantly clear, this man was dangerous. She took solace in that fact alone, knowing he was out of her life for good.

All the while she slept, her hands clutched the billionaire’s red pocket square - it was the only way that she could reassure herself that she hadn’t lost her mind – that she really did allow that man to strip her of any last shred of innocence she still possessed.

* * *

“Ms. Stein wants you in her office immediately,” the writing department’s receptionist informed Taylor before the elevator door even had time to close behind her.

Taylor’s heart pounded in her chest. She knew this wasn’t a good sign. She looked to her left and saw that her boss’s door was open. Then she looked back at the receptionist who looked almost as nervous as Taylor herself looked.

“Immediately,” the receptionist whispered.

She walked into Stein’s office. The walls were filled with glass-framed degrees and inspirational quotes that her boss didn’t actually live by. Stein was dressed in all black- black dress pants, a black blouse, black socks, black shoes, and a black belt.

Another bad sign
, Taylor thought.

“Ms. Stein, you needed to see me?” Taylor said as she bit down on her thumbnail, one of many embarrassing nervous habits that she had developed from her rocky childhood.

“No, I didn’t,” Stein said, her back still turned to Taylor as she typed away at her keyboard. “In fact, I don’t ever need to see you again.”

Taylor gulped loud enough for her boss to hear her and then said, “Excuse me?”

Stein finally turned to face her, her lips pressed together in a hard line and her brows pointing towards the floor. “You’re on a six week suspension.” Then she turned around to face her computer again.

Taylor was in shock. “What? You’re joking, right?”

Her boss didn’t flinch as she continued to look at her computer monitor. “I’m a very busy woman, Ms. Ward. You blew it with the best connection this school has ever had. I have no choice.”

Taylor swallowed so hard it hurt as she walked closer towards her boss. Stein turned to face her again, this time, lowering her glasses as she pretended to care. “I’m sorry kid, it’s out of my hands. Marcus ordered the mandatory suspension himself.”

Taylor practically went into shock. She wondered if her boss knew what had happened between her and the billionaire. She wondered if she should tell her. Even more importantly, she couldn’t for the life of her understand how Colton Marcus could be so cruel, especially given what the two of them had just done together.

Her heart ached, and not because she would have to find a way to make up the money she would now lose, but because of him…

She shook her head, and then accidentally muttered out loud, “What was I thinking?”

She promised herself she would never put herself in a position with another man where she could get this hurt again. And yet here she was, completely screwed over because she had opened herself up to a total stranger.

He was sick. Sadistic. Everything she had read about him online was right.

Taylor turned to leave, and Stein added, “One more thing.” But Taylor couldn’t take
one more thing
; she was about to burst into tears in front of her boss.

“Yes?”

“Marcus has asked that you deliver a personal apology to him. He asked for your contact information so I gave it to him. I hope that was okay, given the raucous you caused yesterday.”

Her boss went on, “He actually demanded all of this. Marcus said without these consequences in place, it would be his expectation that the department let you go permanently, or we would be forced to forfeit his financial support.”

Taylor’s eyes fluttered about a thousand times in less than a second. Her body felt like it was going into shock.

No way. She couldn’t face that man again.

“Again, if it were up to me…” her boss’s voice trailed off. Because the truth was, if it was up to her Taylor might be fired anyway. They both knew that.

Taylor couldn’t move at first. “Run along now, I have a ton of shit to catch up on after yesterday’s mess. I’ll wait to get clearance from Marcus. When I do, I’ll contact H.R. and let them know you may return in exactly six weeks from today.

Taylor lowered her head and walked out of her boss’s office.

This just can’t be happening. What’s wrong with that man? Or better yet, what’s wrong with me for ever getting involved with him to begin with?

She was a wreck, knowing that she’d have to face him if she was to have any chance of saving her job. She hated that he thought he could just barge into her world like this, have his way with her, and then take away her job.

But he could. Colton Marcus seemed to be able to whatever he wanted to.

He did me, after all
.

Not anymore
. She was going to set this man straight, even if it meant losing her job. No man would rob her of her dignity ever again, not even over her dead body.

She left Baldpate’s creative writing department building and walked towards her car. It was as if he had eyes everywhere she went, because the moment she reached for her keys, her phone started to vibrate in her leopard purse.

It was him
.

The text was straight to the point, exactly as she would expect from a man like him:

CORNER OF COMMONWEALTH AVE AND BEACON ST. 10:30

Her pulse sped up as she read his text one last time; this was her version of pinching herself to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. And just as she started to put her phone back into her purse, it vibrated again:

DON’T BE LATE
.

She was furious, that much she knew. But what wasn’t clear was why she felt something else altogether.

Excited
.

No Taylor, remember what he did to you. What he’s doing to you still.

There was no way to justify any emotion right now other than pure anger, and she was determined to remember that as she walked towards her destination.

She stopped and did a quick once over in the reflection of a jewelry store window. She brushed through her blonde curls, put on fresh red lipstick, adjusted her white blazer, pressed any visible wrinkles out of her brown cami, and picked off any traces of lint that clung to her black skirt.

She stopped for a split second and realized what she was doing, trying to look her best for a man she never wanted to see again. Taylor purposefully tried to wrinkle her cami, as if somehow that would serve as evidence that she would remain strong when it came time to face him.

She arrived at the required destination. A black SUV immediately pulled up to the corner at exactly 10:30 a.m. The back door swung open, and all she could see at first was a pair of long, grey dress pants that fit snugly around his legs.

“Get in,” he ordered.

Ridiculous
, she thought. But she got in, immediately.

She shut the door behind her and took in that familiar citrus-scented cologne. Taylor’s eyes widened when she saw all of him. Somehow, he looked even hotter than he did just yesterday. He was leaning back against the SUV’s cream-colored leather seating. A black, tinted window completely separated the backseat from whoever was driving up front.

His eyes drifted across her legs, and she felt a surge of electricity run down her spine.

“Wh… What do you want from me?” she asked, her voice noticeably trembling.

He grinned, and she swore his teeth were whiter than any she’d ever seen. She accidentally glanced up and along one of his chiseled forearms until her eyes reached the top of his rolled up white button down shirt cuff.

“A little bold for a woman whose job is in my hands, don’t you think?” he said.

She looked away from his eyes, noticing that his shirt fit so snug around his broad shoulders and chest. She had a flashback of him essentially slapping her hands away when she tried to feel more of him up there.

He quickly reached across the backseat of the SUV and placed his hand in between both of her thighs. “You fucking lied to me.” She took in a quick gasp of air as she froze.
The balls on this man were enormous
.

She knew what she had to do… Scream and get out of the car before he destroyed whatever was left of her self-dignity.

The billionaire started to slide his hand up her thighs even more, stopping when the tips of his fingers reached the ruffled edge of her soft white panties. She swallowed hard as she looked up at him. “I didn’t mean to. I… I was going-“

“That’s enough, Taylor. A lie is a lie,” he hissed. There he went again, calling out her first name like that… He was angry, and she loved every second of it, as much as it terrified her.

Yes, something is definitely wrong with me
.

Then he removed his hand from in between her legs. She exhaled deeply, and then looked straight ahead towards the black tinted window.

He’s messing with you, Taylor
.
Just play your part and tell him what you came here to say, then leave.

But she was fooling herself, clearly, and she knew better. Because it was he that demanded she be here, not the other way around.

“I’m sorry,” she said softly, barely audibly.

“What was that?” he said as he lifted her chin with his fingers.

“I said I’m sorry,” she found herself saying even though she knew better deep inside than to continue to comply with him in these ways.

He thinks he can just touch me whenever he wants
, she thought to herself.
Well he can’t.

She turned to face him, ready to tell him off once and for all. Ready to put him in the past and move on with her life, for real this time.

But she wasn’t prepared for what he said next. “You’re so fucking sexy, Taylor Ward. I’m going to have to fuck you one more time.”

Her eyes bugged out of her head as she locked eyes with his dark, sexy almond-shaped eyes that rang out with just a hint of innocence that she couldn’t quite put her finger on.

The billionaire reached across her neck and cupped the side of her soft cheek in his hand. Taylor began to feel moist beneath her skirt.

Not a good sign
, she thought.

“What about my job?” she asked.

He flashed a wicked grin. “There’s an easy solution to that. But let me be clear, you already lied to me once. If you break any more of my rules, you can be sure you’re going to lose a hell of a lot more than just your job.”

Her entire body felt like it was beginning to catch on fire. “I already said I didn’t mean...”

His eyes narrowed as he interrupted her, “And I already said enough.”

She began to stutter, “S… So this is about sex for you?”

He moved his head slowly from side to side, not taking his eyes off hers for even the slightest moment. “No, Taylor. This is about so much more than sex.”

She quivered all over. Then he dragged his finger across her lower lip.

“Will you please tell me what you want from me?” she asked.
