before pulling her away. Her body felt weak. However, she wasn't

fatigued. The need coursing through her body grew in intensity.

Never in her life had she felt such delicious sensations. Her pussy

still thrummed. It seemed her heart pumped all her blood to that one

spot on her body. Her lower abdomen contracted and the sure signs of

pending orgasm started to stir inside her cunt once again.

The emptiness and growing tension inside her passage, made her

want to scream out with frustration. God she needed his cock. She

needed it now!

Unfortunately, before she could cry out for Damien to give her

what she wanted, he stood. His hand grabbed a fist full of hair and

jerked her head back, forcing her to look up at him.

Dark eyes stared at her upturned face. She expected them to be

cruel and cold, but there was a fire flickering in their depths, which

warmed her body from the inside out. And something else she

couldn't identify.

His lips curled wickedly, "Now Elise, do as I say." His other hand

lowered to his thick cock.

Elise watched it slide up and down the pulsing shaft. Her mouth

suddenly watered.

Damien tugged her head once, making her quickly avert her eyes to

his face once again. He licked his lips.

She felt the tip of his sex on her lips. His hand still stroked,

although the motion was quicker now.

Damien's breathing deepened and became ragged. His eyes never

left hers. When her lips parted slightly, he tossed his head back and

pressed his cock forcefully against her lips, "Suck!"

His voice growled with his command. Not really knowing what

she was doing, Elise opened her mouth and took Damien's cock

inside, careful to avoid scraping it with her teeth. It was a difficult

task, since he was quite large. She managed to at least get the

mushroomed tip in and grip her lips around the top part of his shaft.

Within seconds, Damien's hips bucked forward, both hands fisted

in her hair. He gasped once, shoved his cock deeper inside her mouth,

22

making her gag at the sudden fullness reaching the back of her throat.

He growled low.

Elise's eyes widened. The first stream of his seed gushed, forcing

her to swallow. She tried to move away, but Damien held her face

firmly in place, slowly rolling his hips against her mouth. She had no

other choice but to accept the salty spunk being pumped rapidly down

her throat.

A moment later Damien stepped away from her.

Elise fell back. She found herself suddenly on her straw pallet in

her father's cottage. She lifted her hand to her breast and felt a

pendant. Looking down she saw an oval shaped blood red ruby

hanging from a gold chain. A slithering serpent was etched in the

center of the jewel. Elise touched it, and everything became clear.

She knew what she had to do.

CHAPTER FOUR

The next morning came quickly. Elise woke up to the sound of the

King's men banging on their cottage door.

A tall burly man dressed in a tunic with the King's emblem, stood at

the entrance, when her father opened the door.

"I've come for the girl, Miller."

He shoved past Franz when he noticed her standing on the bottom

step of the staircase leading to her loft. His cold blue eyes flicked

over her. A bizarre look passed over his face, before he walked over

to her and grabbed her arm, making her step down. He turned to her

father.

"If all goes well, we will bring her back in the morning. However

if..." the knight looked down at her, his face suddenly sullen. He

cleared his throat. "Well you know what to expect then." He nodded

once to the Miller, led Elise outside to the carriage, and helped her up.

She met her father's eyes briefly. The pain and sorrow in them

made her heart ache. She hoped that whatever magic Damien had

bestowed upon her worked. Death did not sound appealing.

* * * *

"So you are prepared for your task, girl?" Lord DeMumart stood

peering down out Elise.

She shivered from his intense gaze. Her lips trembled, "I ... I..."

She looked away to find the burly knight who'd brought her, and

presented her to the duke, give her a sympathy-ridden grimace.

She looked back at the Duke, "Y-yes my Lord, I am ready..."

DeMumart narrowed his eyes at her.

She cringed, yet didn't turn away or look down. Her eyes remained

fixed on the old duke's pinched face. His tall thin frame appeared

overly lanky and awkward. Even hunched, he towered over her by at

least a foot. His hands looked more like claws, long, bony with

knobby knuckles that seemed overly grown.

"That is good." He leaned down about an inch away from her face,

his cruel eyes, the color of which seemed to reflect bright orange,

24

yellow flames, bore into her upturned face. His breath was hot and

smelled old and of death.

"Then we shall begin."

Abruptly he turned away from her and motioned the knight to take

her by the arm and follow him down a long dark corridor that smelled

damp like swamp. She must be in the dungeon of the castle.

Their long trek through the marsh and mud of the lower grounds

led her to the underbelly of the king's castle. She had hoped to see the

interior of the grand royal castle and be witness to the magnificence

that it was rumored to be.

However, she resigned herself to the fact that the king would not

even consider the possibility of allowing a simple peasant girl in his

presence. At least not until she had proven herself worthy.

And so here, she found herself trying to prove it with a task that

was both impossible and pathetically stupid. Her shoulders hunched

when they finally stopped in front of a heavy wooden door with iron

hinges, locked with three huge iron padded locks.

DeMumart removed a long key from the pocket of his finely

embroidered silk coat, and unlocked the pads. The door creaked open,

revealing a large circular room of stone. Bundles and stacks of straw

filled from floor to ceiling.

Elise's heart sunk to her stomach. She placed her hand to her chest,

feeling the pedant Damien had given her. It buzzed softly against her

hand and a small surge of hope managed to awaken inside her.

DeMumart stepped aside, smirking wickedly. He bowed arrogantly

sweeping his hand through the air inviting her to enter. The moment

she did the door slammed shut and she heard the locks click.

Alone, Elise looked about the entire room. The stacks of hay must

have been at least twelve feet high. They surrounded her, reaching

out from the wall about fifteen feet, leaving only a small narrow strip

of walking space that lead to a tiny spinning wheel, which looked as

though it had had better days.

She walked a few steps until the spinning wheel sat only a few

inches away from her. Placing one hand on the wheel, and the other

25

on her pendant, Elise closed her eyes and concentrated on Damien

Dontaleone, Lord of Darkhaven.

Within seconds, the pedant began to heat in her grasp. It vibrated

and she felt a jolt of magical energy coursed through her. Just when

she thought the pendant would burn a hole straight through her hand,

a flash of light forced her eyes open. Another, then another followed

it and yet another, until six more flashes later, ten small creatures

appeared before her.

They appeared to be little demons with small lanky bodies and

large bat-like wings. The horns on their heads gleamed white against

their coal black bodies. Their tiny faces resembled evil canine-like

creatures.

Startled and bit frightened, Elise took a step back, almost toppling

over the spinning wheel. Before she could scream, one of the

creatures flew face level to her and blew warm honey scented breath

directly into her face. An odd fog of silver enveloped her head. The

moment she took a breath, a strange calmness overcame her.

Just before her eyes closed, two more creatures grabbed her upper

arms and carried her to a short ledge, several inches above the twelve

feet of straw, and laid her gently down on it. The last thing she saw

was the little demons spread out and start to whirl around the

mountains of straw, like tiny silver streaks shooting in every direction.

Her eyes fluttered a few times before they closed and she fell fast

asleep.

* * * *

Warm hands massaged her breasts, her pussy.

The sultry deep voice whispered soothing words in her ear.

Elise groaned and spread her legs wide

The invisible hands stroked her nether lips with more vigor. She

burst once more, swaying in the warm embrace of the white void that

surrounded her ... ahh so wonderful ... mmmm Damien...

"It's not possible!"

Elise jerked her head around, shaking the haziness from her

slumber. Duke DeMumart stood at the entrance of the room and

26

gaped in. His expression twisted into a mixture of outrage and

unbelief.

Elise turned the rest of her body around and stretched the laziness

from her limbs. She blinked several times until her vision became

clearer. Natural light from the corridor filtered into the room.

Morning had come already? But she just fell asleep didn't she?

She gasped. Every inch of straw bundles had been converted to

pure gold yarn. The little demons.

It must have been them, Damien's minions. She knew for sure that

it was the Lord of Darkhaven that had sent the tiny creatures to help

her. She slowly traveled the room from floor to ceiling. The gold

strands glittered brightly.

The moment her eyes settled on the suspicious expression of duke

DeMumart. Her composure stiffened. She suddenly realized that her

face must betray the obvious, so she quickly forced herself to be stoic

and nonchalant.

She stepped down onto a large bail of golden yarn and climbed

carefully down until she was standing on the ground again.

She faced DeMumart and threw her head back, her express

haughty, "You see my lord, it is done." Elise motioned to the tons of

gold strands piled around the room.

Her eyes never left the Duke's haggard features while he walked a

circle around her.

"Impressive little maiden." He stopped to loom over her once

again. "A little too impressive!"

Elise took a step back. His humid breath fanned across her face.

Although she had the urge to run, she held her ground. "I said I could

do it, and as you see I have! It is your turn to keep the bargain."

Duke DeMumart, turned abruptly, clenching and un-clenching his

bony hands. He clasped them behind his back and swung around. His

bizarre gaze bore into her.

She felt a strange sharp pain stab her stomach and winced slightly.

The Duke snarled silently. His lips tightened into a thin line. "We

shall see."

The Knight helped Elise down from the carriage in front of her

small cottage. Right after the Duke had examined the golden yarn

that had once been straw, he summoned his men to take her home.

Much to her dismay there was no other word said about her fate now

that she had "proven" her worth to the King.

It discerned her tremendously. Something was amiss. She could

feel the anxiousness build in her chest as she crossed the threshold of

their small home. Her fears were confirmed when she saw her father

reading a letter, that had the King's seal on it.

He turned and looked at her, his eyes looked bleary. Wet streaks

moistened his cheeks.

He shook his head. Elise ran to him, "What is it Papa? Lord

Dontaleone's magic worked and the impossible task is done.

Shouldn't this be a happy occasion?"

He shook his head slowly and handed her the letter.

CHAPTER FIVE

Elise paced back and forth before Damien. "You see, another

task!"

She momentarily stopped wringing her small hands together to

point a shaking finger at the letter she had given him.

Damien quirked a dark brow. "I see."

Elise stopped mid stride and jerked around to look at him. "You

see? How am I to weave a thousand baskets of gold, fill them with

jeweled fruit?" She fisted her hands at her sides, "Surely even your

magic couldn't possibly, argh!" she shook her head, "it is hopeless!"

She wrung her hands together nervously, staring up at him with
