“I need to figure some things out. Keep an eye on her, Jordan. She is trouble, and I don’t want to see her get hurt.”

“You worry about yourself, lover. Charlotte can take care of herself. She doesn’t need me babysitting her,” Jordan said, angrily turning away from him, only to have Braxton grab his arm.

Angry and furious with his own insecurities, Braxton ordered Jordan firmly, “I am coming back. I just need to get some things straight. Look after her. You will do what I ask. Understand?” He watched Jordan as the realization of what he truly was spread quickly over his face.

Braxton grinned as Jordan lowered his eyes. “Yes, Sir.”

With the response he was looking for, Braxton touched Jordan’s lips. God, they were swollen and so soft. Leaning closer, he kissed him quickly and handed him his card. “If you need me, call,” he demanded and quickly fled the house.

A week had passed as Braxton tried to come to grips with his revelation. Talking with Gabriel helped, and over the week he began to formulate a plan to help him get what he most desperately wanted. Though not knowing much about the two, they were easy enough to find in the phone book. So after getting their names, Braxton did what he did best. He investigated them.

He knew deep down it was wrong, but someone in his position just couldn’t have criminals living with him. It wasn’t anything against them. He just wanted to be careful, get what he wanted, and keep his job.

Word was already spreading about his sexual preferences, and so far so good. So far there had only been one incident of concern, but Braxton figured the old bat who worked for his father could go to hell.

Ms. Gail Seaton was his father’s receptionist and midnight fuck buddy. When his father refused to divorce his mother, Ms. Seaton cut off all ties, quit her job, and joined the lady auxiliary league. Now a prominent member of the town, she was also on the town council and a voting member of his job, and she was making his life a living hell.

As the word spread, she rallied the old biddies, and soon there was a petition to have Braxton removed from his post. Of course, there were those on the city council who liked Braxton and lived a polyamorous life. Those were the ones who didn’t give a damn and supported their local sheriff.

So, waiting as his computer searched, Braxton poured himself a cup of hot coffee. When his computer starting pinging like crazy he was shocked and a little worried, but nothing could have prepared him for what he discovered.

“Son of a bitch!” he cursed loudly, throwing the coffee cup against the wall of the sheriff’s department.

His deputy sheriff, Brannon Kincade, jumped, drawing his weapon and looking for something to fire at. “What the fuck, Brax! Warn a guy next time when you throw a fuckin’ fit. What the fuck is wrong?” he asked.

“Nothing,” Braxton growled.

“Something pissed you off. We get a BOLO or something?”

“No,” he replied, slamming the door as he walked out into the bright sunshine.

Brannon Kincade smiled as he watched his best friend and partner storm out of the office. It didn’t take a genius to figure out that for the last week Braxton’s personal life was affecting his work. So Brannon didn’t mind picking up the slack. God knew Braxton had been there for him many times, especially with his latest fiasco, the mayor’s wife, Brittney Malone.

Only Braxton knew that Brannon and his brothers Connor and Daniel were doing the monkey mambo with the conniving two-timing bitch, and he kept his mouth shut, even when things went to hell when that crazy woman pulled a gun on Janie and shot Caleb Hicks. After that, Brannon and his brothers kind of kept their extracurricular activities on the down low, ‘cause not everyone was gonna like the fact that they were into severe role-playing frivolity.

“Well, looks like Doc and Matthew aren’t the only ones having woman troubles,” Brannon said, looking at the beautiful woman on the computer screen.

Braxton was going to whip her ass, chain her to the cross, and make her beg for forgiveness. Then he was going to fuck that delectable little pussy into submission.

That was once he got his hands on her.

Speeding down the highway with lights blaring, Braxton thought of all the ways he was going to torture Charlotte, and little baby doll deserved everything she was gonna get.

He knew she was trouble, and he was right.

Something in his gut told him that she could cause more trouble than she was worth. He just only hoped that Jordan did what he said he was going to do and kept the little hacker out of trouble.

Of all the women in the world, he had to fall for one that was on the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s watch list! Complicating matters worse, just as he was leaving Treasure Cove, he received a phone call from Matthew Jenkins that something had come up with the Charter business, and he wanted to meet with him tonight to discuss the issue. God, he wished they could put that case to rest. Too many folks in town were starting to see money missing from their accounts. Whoever the underwriter was, was now syphoning off funds at a high rate. The once unnoticeable amount was growing into thousands, and it was now affecting the livelihood of the town. Braxton had to give Matthew Jenkins props. The man was working day and night to uncover who the elusive thief was. With Janie Hicks’s help, they were making progress, but it just wasn’t fast enough. The hardest hit was the Kincades, his deputy sheriff’s family. If this person wasn’t caught, it was only going to be a matter of days before the ABC Ranch was bankrupt.

His plate was getting fuller by the minute. Gabriel was telling him he needed to accept who he was. Jordan saying the same damn thing. Charlotte with her extracurricular activities that could wind her ass in jail, and now Matthew was working tirelessly to save the Kincade Ranch.

Shit! I have enough to do already.

As he ate away at the miles before him, his cell vibrated.

“What!” he shouted, slamming on the gas and picking up speed.

“Braxton?” a male voice said cautiously.

“Who is this?”

“It’s Jordan. How soon can you get to Celestial?”

“I’m on my way now, why?”

“Uh, well. I’m in jail,” he whispered.

“Where’s Charlotte?” he asked, a headache forming, already knowing the answer.

“She’s in jail, too.”

“I’ll be there in an hour,” he said curtly and disconnected the call. “My day keeps getting better and better.”

Pulling into Celestial, it didn’t take Braxton but five minutes to find the jail. Well, at least that’s what he thought it was, but he wasn’t so sure. He was in Celestial after all.

In front of the small wooden structure no bigger than a garden shed, naked as the day they were born, they stood, with their arms and heads caught in some kind of medieval wooden torture device. Jordan looked embarrassed, while Charlotte, well, she was pissed. His foul-mouthed vixen was giving the guy who Braxton assumed was the town’s sheriff a tongue lashing, but even for him, the Celestial sheriff was something to see.

The sheriff, if that’s what he was, was standing stark naked with a leather holster around his waist, a bullwhip in one hand, and a water pistol in the other. Of course, finishing off the ensemble was a white cowboy hat with a silver star on the front.

Fuck, this town is crazier than a road runnin’ lizard!

Getting out of his squad car, Braxton walked up to the man and asked one simple question. “What are they charged with?”

“Hi there. Welcome to Celestial. What can I do ya for?” the naked idiot replied.

Taking a deep breath, Braxton tried desperately to cool his rising temper.

“Charges. What are they charged with?” he firmly asked again.

“Oh, nothing for you to worry your fine ass over. You come all this way to see me? I sure hope so. Wouldn’t mind playing with your big gun, sheriff,” the idiot said vivaciously.

“You’re a fucking cop!” Charlotte yelled in shock. “I should have known someone with that kind of dick was paid to serve!”

“Speak up, Charlotte. I don’t think that mountain goat in Tibet heard you,” the idiot shouted back.

“Shut the fuck up, Pisces, and get me the fuck out of this contraption!” Charlotte screamed furiously.

“Pisces, your name is really Pisces?” Braxton said, trying to control the smile that desperately wanted to form.

“Oh yes, lover. Wanna play cops and robbers? I’m getting bored with these two. What do ya say we head on in my office, and I’ll show you how good I am with my
long
whip,” the idiot replied, moving toward him and stroking his cock.

Oh, Braxton could take almost anything, but this asshole coming on to him was too much. Holding out his hand to stop the man’s advances, he was about to say something when Jordan decided that was the perfect time to pipe up. “Leave him the fuck alone! His cock belongs to me!”

Yep, my day just got worse!

“What the fuck do you mean, your cock? His cock is mine!” Charlotte yelled at Jordan, staking her claim.

“I had him first,” Jordan shouted back, fuming like a petulant child.

Charlotte, on the other hand, decided to go with the more delicate female approach. She started kicking Jordan in the shins, screaming profanity at him.

Oh yeah, the cross for the both of them!

“Shut. The. Fuck. Up!” Braxton yelled, halting all words and actions. A crowd began to gather, which just made his day even better, but thanks to Jordan’s big mouth, his sexual preferences were out in the open. It wouldn’t take long for word to get back to Treasure Cove, since a good majority of his town liked partying in this off-the-wall town.

“Well now. I didn’t know these two claimed you. Are you here to take them with you?”

“Yes,” Braxton replied, running his hands down his face. Oh, he was going to whip both of their asses raw.

“I ain’t going nowhere with him. I’d rather fuck Pisces in an open field during the fall solstice as the whole damn town watches than go with him. I’ll take my punishment and be done with it,” Charlotte stated, looking at Braxton furiously.

“Offer accepted, Charlotte,” Pisces grinned vivaciously at his hellcat.

“Offer denied, asshole. She belongs to me, and I don’t share,” Braxton said.

“Jordan, you’re free to go, that is if you want to go with the sheriff?” Pisces asked Jordan, and when he nodded his head yes, the idiot sheriff let him go.

Braxton watched as the Celestial sheriff handed Jordan his clothes. He dressed quickly and walked over to him. “You can’t let Pisces punish Charlotte,” Jordan whispered.

“What do you mean punish. Just what the fuck did you two do?” Braxton snapped.

“We got into a little fight over at the Rainbow Room. Charlotte
might
have accidently broke the bar’s glass mirror and she
might
have punched Apollo in the face, but she was only defending herself. I swear, Braxton, I saw the whole thing,” Jordan quickly told him.

“Where the fuck were you? I told you to watch out for her.”

“I was there. I made sure it was a fair fight.” Jordan smiled.

“When I get you home, I am going to beat your ass!” Braxton shouted and turned just in time to see the Celestial Sheriff let the bullwhip fly right across Charlotte’s ass.

Her loud scream chilled Braxton to his bones.

Not thinking, only acting on adrenaline, Braxton charged the sheriff and began beating the living shit out of him.

* * * *

The long drive back to Treasure Cove was in total silence. No one said a single word. Braxton was trying to control the urge not to pull over and whip Charlotte and Jordan’s asses. Jordan silently looked out the passenger window, and Charlotte, well, she was tied up in the backseat, handcuffed with duct tape across her foul mouth, seething.

The whole debacle took a nasty turn when Pisces whipped Charlotte. Jordan warned him, but when she screamed, Braxton charged the Celestial sheriff. It took Jordan and three others to pull Braxton off of the man, and when all was said and done, the mayor, who just happened to be none other than Apollo himself, fired both Jordan and Charlotte and told them they were no longer welcome in Celestial. They were given two weeks to pack their belongings and leave town, because at that moment, no establishment would ever service them.

They had been banished.

Though Jordan didn’t believe the town had the legal right to do such a thing, Braxton further complicated matters by saying the town could go fuck itself and there was no way he was letting his subs ever step foot back in a town which publicly punished its citizens. Which solidified the town’s curiosity that Jordan and Charlotte were definitely one hundred percent his.

He had publicly claimed them.

Yeah, that part wasn’t too bad, but when Charlotte went and kicked the mayor in the balls, that sealed their fate. Thanks to one foul-mouth hellcat and a hotheaded sheriff, Jordan was now homeless.
