They returned to the den, where things were getting a little more laid back. Chaz’s guys hung over the bar drinking beer with babes on either side of them offering some Texas hospitality. When Dominic walked out and nodded his head, his men relaxed and joined in the fun. Everything was fine.

Or not. He turned and found Reece making a beeline for Raven. Shit. The bastard could screw things up if he wasn’t careful. Dominic set down his beer and followed him.

“Name’s Reece, Raven. Sounds like you’re going to be with us now.”

“Reece.” Dominic clapped his best friend on the shoulder. “Going to introduce us?”

“Raven, this is the president. I’m VP. Dominic, meet Raven. She was just about to tell me a little bit about herself.”

“I was?” She stared hard at him before shrugging. “I’m twenty-nine, single, no children, and my favorite color is green.”

“What’s your favorite position?” Reece grinned.

“Depends on the size and shape of the dick.”

“Long and thick.”

Dominic bit back a grin and crossed his arms to watch the show. She wasn’t a naïve little socialite that needed protecting after all. He couldn’t help feeling attracted to her. Not only was she sexy as hell, but she had fire, and he loved a sassy woman.

She looked Reece up and down and then turned to him.

“Is he talking about you or someone else?”

Dominic chuckled and shook his head. “Baby, that’s Reece all over.”

He couldn’t get over how in a matter of a few minutes, Raven had brought Reece back alive. His partner’s eyes flashed with excitement for the first time in a long time. Even if he hadn’t already been attracted to her, he would have fallen for her just because of the change in his buddy.

Raven’s eyes held enough curiosity to feed his own arousal. She had been with Chaz’s gang long enough that she knew the score. He and Reece had first dibs on any woman brought into the club. The fact that neither of them would enforce that didn’t matter. If it was going to be an issue, Chaz would have mentioned it when they were negotiating.

Reece crowded up next to Raven, pinning her against the wall. “Ever been the meat in a Ghost Rider sandwich?”

“Sounds interesting, but I’ll pass.”

“Welcome to the club, baby. You’re ours now. Let’s go get better acquainted.” Reece nodded at Dominic and grabbed her hand.

Her mouth opened then closed before she looked over toward him. Dominic smiled and held out his hand to her. He watched as she weighed her options. Then she took his hand and they led her toward his room. He half expected her to drag her feet, but she didn’t.

He would have slowed Reece down if he hadn’t seen the interest in Raven’s face. Barely veiled arousal glowed in her dark eyes. It was obvious that she was more than interested in what Reece had to offer.

“Raven? Are you okay?” Chaz stepped in front of them.

Reece took a step up, but Raven got between them.

“I’m fine, Chaz. Leave the rest of my stuff here, okay?” She smiled at Chaz.

Chaz nodded and stepped back. Dominic looked at him with a disapproving glare. The man had made his decision. He shouldn’t have tried to interfere.

“You’re welcome for the night, Chaz. There should be a room for you. Check with Turk. In case I don’t see you in the morning, have a safe ride home—brother.”

“Thanks, Dominic. I’m an ass. I know it.”

Reece pulled on Raven, who pulled at him to continue through the den and down the hall to Dominic’s bedroom. Once they were behind closed doors, she rounded on them, nails drawn.

“I’m not some biker bitch to be tossed around as anybody’s meat.”

Reece grinned. “We’re not anybody, babe. You’re in our territory now.”

Dominic smiled and sat on the bed to pull off his boots. He had no intentions of fucking her if she didn’t want them. He didn’t force anyone, and neither did Reece, but the boy loved to play. He wondered if they would get lucky or sleep with blue balls tonight. He dropped the boot on the floor with a thud. She jumped.

“Look. This is only temporary. Chaz told you that, didn’t he?”

“He told us. We only agreed if it was going to be permanent though.”

She paled. Then she drew in a deep breath and crossed her arms.

“Did he tell you that I bring money into the club?”

“Yeah, said you were a writer of some kind. Thinking about buying a free pass?” Reece cocked his head.

“Nothing is free, Reece. I’m not stupid.”

Reece sobered up. “I never said you were. Look. This doesn’t have to happen. I was just seeing how far I could push you.” He spread his hands out by his sides. “We really just want to get to know you a little better since you’re going to be staying here.”

She looked over at Dominic, who’d just finished pulling off his other boot. He dropped it to the floor, too. Then he scooted back in the bed to lean against the headboard. She looked back at Reece.

“Okay, what do you want to know? There really isn’t much to tell, and I’m sure you know all about Teller. Chaz wouldn’t have dumped me on you without letting you know the details.”

“You and Chaz have a thing going?” Dominic asked.

“No! I would never do that to Monica. We were best friends. Besides, Chaz isn’t even on my radar.”

“Take off your pack and get comfortable. We’re not going to bite.” Dominic flashed a warning look at Reece.

If he knew Reece, he would keep pushing her. While it was good to have the old Reece back, he didn’t want to start this relationship off on the wrong foot. Not only did she bring potential revenue to the club, but she was different. She managed to arouse more than his cock in just a few minutes when it sometimes took more than a kiss to pique his interest nowadays.

He watched as she carefully removed the backpack and set it on the floor near the door. She crossed her arms and waited. He patted the bed next to him and watched as she fought with herself on whether to take his offer or ignore it. She took it and walked over to the bed. When she sat down to take off her boots, Reece surprised them both by kneeling in front of her and taking them off for her.

“So, what kind of writer are you, Raven?” He looked down at Reece. “Come on and get comfortable.”

Reece grinned and climbed up on the bed. He leaned back on his elbows and waited for her to answer.

“I write erotic romance. You know. Sex sells.”

“That it does. One of our branches in California runs a movie company. It’s very lucrative.”

“I doubt I can compete with vids, but I do okay. I contribute my twenty percent to the club, and it helps.”

“Sounds good. So what sort of sex do you sell?”

“I mostly write ménage because that’s popular. I do a little BDSM. I’m branching out some to mix in paranormal.”

“Paranormal? Like ghosts?” Reece made a face. “How do ghosts have sex?”

Raven laughed, and Dominic’s heart nearly stopped. He looked over at Reece, and the other man’s face had gone nearly white. Evidently her laugh packed more of a punch on Reece. The poor guy wasn’t immune to her, from the way he’d blanched.

“Not ghosts, though they do have sex in some books. I write about werewolves and werecats.”

Dominic recovered first. “You’re kidding.”

Reece cleared his throat. “Animal sex? That’s just sick.”

“No, they have sex as humans. They can change into their animal, though, and that’s what makes it paranormal.”

Reece pushed up and sat cross legged. Dominic could see that he was fighting something inside of him. He’d obviously felt the pull toward her as well. Well, fuck. They were both going to end up falling for the same woman.

“How many books do you have out?” Dominic asked.

“About twenty-five.”

“That’s a lot of books. Must take a lot of time.”

“I usually write about six hours a day. It depends on if I’m on deadline for something or if I’m thinking about the next book.”

Reece nodded. “I guess we better talk with Jugs about it. You’re part of the gang, so you have to fit in. She’s going to want you to help out around the place and pull your share of the weight. You know how gangs work. Nothing is different from Chaz’s I would think. We take care of you, and you take care of us.”

“Right. I don’t mind helping out around the house. I’m a pretty good cook.” She sighed. “I know the rules. Anyone off limits? I don’t want to step on toes.”

“Everyone is off limits,” Reece said in a growl.

“Huh?”

“You don’t fuck anyone but us. You can set the pace, but everyone else is off limits.”

“Are you serious?” She frowned and glanced over at Dominic.

Dominic smiled and nodded. He was quite happy that Reece had taken the initiative to take her off the market. Now to convince her they were good guys. She didn’t look too thrilled with being their woman. Most anyone would have jumped at the chance to be claimed by either one of them.

“Dead serious, baby.” Reece got off the bed and began pulling off his clothes.

“Reece.” Dominic couldn’t believe his best friend was acting like this.

“Chill. I’m not forcing her. I’d never force a woman. I’m just getting ready for bed. I’m dog tired. We’ve had three runs back to back this month. Shit’s getting old.”

“You heard him, Raven. Time for bed.” Dominic got up and began slipping off his shirt.

“Bathroom?” She looked around the room.

“First door on your left.” Dominic pointed toward the door.

She grabbed her pack and walked out the door.

“Think she’ll be back?” Dominic asked.

“Yeah. She’s curious. I can see it in her eyes.”

Chapter Three

Raven closed the bathroom door behind her, locked it, and leaned against it. Fuck! What had she gotten into now? Everything had been going great with Monica and Chaz. What had happened to screw it all up? Someone had been telling her best friend that she and Chaz were screwing. Why?

She shook her head. It was too late for that now. She had other things to worry about, namely, what to do about her attraction to Dominic and Reece. They were the leaders of the entire gang. The Ghost Riders had arms all over the western United States, and she was wearing wet panties because of them.

Unzipping her pack, she pulled out fresh underwear and a T-shirt she could sleep in. Then she stripped and turned on the shower. She was pleased to see that the bathroom was cleaner than most she had been in. If this was going to be the one she used from now on, she would volunteer to keep it clean. Maybe that would satisfy her part of the house duties outside of meals.

While she dried off, she thought about the two men in the other room. Dominic was the leader and president of the club. His shaggy black hair and electric-blue eyes were mesmerizing to say the least. He could get the best of a girl while she was still staring at his face. The way he smiled, sort of one sided, turned her heart over in her chest. She hadn’t stuck around to see what he looked like without clothes, but just going by the way he filled out his jeans, he was built for lust. He had a little bit of an ass on him, whereas his second-in-command, Reece, had a tight butt that begged to be popped.

Both men looked to be about thirty years old and were close to six feet four inches. Neither man had an ounce of fat on him. It was obvious that they didn’t sit around and let everyone else do all the work. Either that or they worked out.

Reece’s sandy-blond hair was buzz cut to about a half inch. Her hands ached to brush over it and see if it was soft or rough. His pretty-boy face and easy smile belied the way he’d treated her. Green eyes brightened when he laughed and smoldered when he had teased her. His chest she had seen, and it was wide and whittled into a mouthwatering shape she would love to trace with her lips.

Raven sighed and realized she was rubbing a raw place on her shoulder with the towel. She’d daydreamed enough. It was time to dress and face her new life. There was no way in hell she would ever be able to resist them when all she wanted to do was spread her legs and yell
come and get it
.

She tucked her towel over the shower rod and picked up her pack. When she opened the door, it was to find a very large-breasted woman leaning against the door facing with her arms crossed. She could have been anywhere between twenty-nine and forty, and she didn’t look happy.

“So, you’re moving in. Breakfast on Saturday mornings is seven o’clock. There are usually about ten or twelve here for it.”

“Fine. I’ll have it ready.” She shrugged her shoulders as if it didn’t matter.

“See that you do. Don’t get possessive. They rarely stick to one person more than a couple of weeks.” She winked at Raven and turned to walk away and stopped. “Oh, yeah. My name is Jugs. I run this place.”

“Name’s Raven, and I don’t plan on being here very long.”

“Sounds good.”

Raven briefly closed her eyes before turning toward the bedroom. She had been expecting a catfight, so that wasn’t so bad. Now if she could manage to get through the night without jumping on one or both of the men in that room, she would count herself lucky.

She opened the door and walked in without looking toward the bed. When she turned from closing the door it was to find Dominic in bed with the covers bunched at his waist. Reece was standing by the window with his back to her on the phone. He was totally nude, and she’d been right. He had one tight-looking ass. She had to swallow the saliva pooling in her mouth.

She turned her attention back to the bed and found Dominic smiling knowingly at her. She fixed a scowl on her face and walked over to the bed to climb in. Reece’s voice stopped her from placing her knee on the mattress.

“I don’t give a flying fuck what his excuse is. We bailed him out the last time he pulled this crap. We’re not doing it again. Tell him to call his old lady.” Reece punched
end
on the phone and turned around. He was wearing his own scowl that lifted when he saw her half-bent over the bed.

“Gill in trouble again?” Dominic’s amused voice jerked her back from staring at Reece’s monster cock.

Reece grinned at her and winked. “Yeah. We’re going to have to do something about him. He’s turned into a liability, Dominic.”
