“Fuck, Raven! It’s not like that. Satan’s Sons are seriously bad men. They have no respect for women, in case you haven’t noticed.”

“I have noticed. I’m not going to go running off in the middle of the night or anything. I seriously doubt they would try anything in broad daylight in the middle of town, though.”

“You don’t know them, Raven. They’ll hurt you before anyone even knows you’re there. Don’t argue with me on this. We’re just getting to know each other as it is.”

Raven huffed out a breath and tried to pull out of his arms. He held her tightly against his chest.

“Don’t go off mad, babe. I’m just trying to keep you safe. You’ve been through enough already.” He squeezed her quickly then let her go.

After scooting off the bed, she walked over to the desk, staring at the window. Deep down she knew he was probably right, but she couldn’t help resisting his bossiness. It wasn’t in her to just bow down to whatever a man told her to do now that she’d broken away from Michael.

She was trying to calm down so she wouldn’t say something she would regret when the door opened and Dominic walked in. He closed the door behind him and stood there with his hands on his hips.

“What’s going on?” He looked over at Reece then back at her.

She stared at him then shrugged. Reece set the whiskey bottle back on the table and got off the bed.

“I was trying to explain to Raven that we need her to stick close to home for now. No going off to town without an escort.”

She watched amusement cross Dominic’s face before it hardened down again.

“I take it you don’t agree with Reece on the subject.”

“I think you’re overreacting is all. I can take care of myself.”

Reece had her in his arms in less than a second so that she couldn’t move. He smiled down at her.

“I think you might want to rethink that.” He kissed her quickly on the lips then let her go.

She noted that he stepped way back from her reach just in case she decided to retaliate. The thought had crossed her mind. Instead, she walked over to the door and let herself out. She wasn’t in any mood to argue with them about it. Besides, she didn’t need to go anywhere right now anyway.

When she walked into the kitchen, it was to find two of the other women cooking. She was going to offer to help when Jugs walked up and curled her finger, indicating she wanted Raven to follow her. She couldn’t imagine what the other woman wanted but followed her into the den near the door to the office.

“Yeah?”

“How are Reece and Dominic doing?”

She frowned at the other woman. “Fine, I guess. Why?”

“Things are going to get pretty nasty around here before it’s all over. Satan’s Sons have been trying to take over Reo for months now. They’re dirty, Raven. Drugs, guns, you name it, they’ve shipped it across Texas. The thing is, they give all bikers a bad name. The guys here are pretty much on the up-and-up.”

“And you’re telling me this why?” She crossed her arms and shifted her feet.

“Dominic and Reece are the leaders. They have to be solid for the rest of the guys. If they don’t look confident and cool under pressure, it affects the entire gang. You need to keep them relaxed. Do you understand?”

Raven stared at her, not quite shocked at what the other woman was saying but surprised she’d actually approached her.

“Yeah, I get it. Keep them satisfied in bed…”

“Or the floor or the shower…”

“So they aren’t frustrated sexually while everything is going to hell.”

“Pretty much. That’s what a biker’s old lady does. Are you going to be able to handle both of them, or do I need to get one of the other girls to help you out?”

Raven growled at this. She stood up straighter and got in the other woman’s face.

“I don’t need help with them. You keep them away from Reece and Dominic or there’ll be fireworks in here as well. I don’t think we need that right now, do you?”

Jugs curled her lips and laughed. “Guess you’re up to the task after all. I wasn’t so sure at first.”

“I can handle them. You just watch out for the rest of the gang.”

“Oh, don’t worry. I’ve got them covered.” Jugs smiled and started to walk off.

Raven stopped her. “Wait. Tell me a little about some of the men. I need to know what’s what around here if I’m going to be their old lady.”

Jugs nodded over toward Turk. “He’s the computer and information guru around here. If it’s out there, he can find it. Rumor has it that he used to work for the government. I’m sure he still has contacts there. He and Irish keep up with the business end of things. They don’t look anything alike, but they’re cousins.” She pointed over at Butch sitting at the end of the bar. “That’s Butch. He takes care of security and such. Walker is sitting over by the window. He’s Butch’s right-hand man.”

“I’ve seen Vernon and Rhodes. Who’s the guy sitting next to Rhodes?”

“That’s Merrick. He and Cassius are brothers. They’re a little odd, but good guys.”

“Strange names.”

“Yeah, well, don’t say anything to them. Their parents were college professors. I’ve heard that they have several degrees each.”

Raven lifted a brow and grinned at Jugs. She had a degree in business management herself. No doubt that wouldn’t endear her to the woman.

“I won’t hold it against them.” She widened her smile when the other woman did the same.

Without saying anything more, she turned and headed back to the kitchen. The meal was finished and everyone was lining up to fix their plates. She saw Reece and Dominic on the opposite side of the room staring at her with puzzled expressions. She just stared back and took her place in line.

By the time she’d fixed her plate and found a seat at the table, they were finished and scraping theirs out. Dominic set his by the sink and walked over to squat next to her chair.

“You okay?”

“Yeah, why?” She stared at her plate.

“I know you aren’t happy about the situation right now, but it will improve.”

Raven turned and looked at Dominic. Lines that she hadn’t remembered being there the day before marked his face around his eyes and mouth. His eyes were wary and tired looking. She sighed. Jugs was right. It was her job to keep them centered on what was important.

“It’s all right, Dominic. I understand. It just pissed me off for a little while is all. I won’t go anywhere without someone with me.”

His entire body seemed to lighten with her statement. He smiled and kissed her cheek.

“Thanks, babe.”

She nodded and returned to eating. The fact that he had worried about that so much told her that he cared about her a little more than she had realized. It was a sobering thought, something she would need to think a little more on later. Did Reece feel the same way? Did it matter? Maybe.

Later that night, the top ten men met in the sanctuary for nearly three hours. Raven had no idea what it was about but was sure that Vernon, Rhodes, and Jessie were among the topics. She watched TV with the rest of the gang until close to midnight, when the meeting broke up. She wasn’t surprised when Reece walked over and held out his hand to her.

“Ready for bed, babe?”

She nodded and stood up, taking his hand in the process. He led her back to the hall, where he stopped outside his room. When he opened the door, she was a little surprised but didn’t say anything.

“Since you went to all the trouble to change the sheets, I thought we might sleep in here tonight.”

Reece drew her into his arms until her chest brushed his abdomen. He leaned down and kissed her. His tongue slipped between her lips even as she opened her mouth to him. She loved the taste of him, whiskey-laced Reece. It proved to be potent. By the time he pulled back from exploring her mouth, she was a little light-headed from the lack of oxygen and the residual flavor of the alcohol.

“Undress for me, Raven. Real slow.”

He tugged off his shirt and kicked off his boots before unbuckling his belt and the top button on his jeans. Then he sat back on the bed and waited on her.

After pulling off her shoes, she slowly unbuttoned her blouse, exposing a little more skin with each movement. When she had her blouse completely open, she moved to her jeans. The snap made a loud noise in the bedroom’s silence. It was quickly followed by Reece’s intake of breath when she slowly began to slide them down her hips.

She kept her gaze on him, measuring his reaction as she worked them down her legs, and then stepped out of them. Clad only in her blouse and underwear now, Raven crawled up on the bed and stood up. She could see the outline of Reece’s hard cock pushing against the material of his jeans. Even as she stared at it, the engorged organ pulsed in its captivity. She wanted to rake her nails across the material but would finish undressing for him first.

Standing on the bed as she was, Raven could reach the ceiling with her fingertips. She steadied herself then slowly began to peel off her blouse, one arm at a time. Once it had fluttered to the bed, she unhooked the front closure on her bra and let it gape before pulling back the cups and letting the bra slide down her arms to land on top of her blouse.

Reece moved on the bed, adjusting himself. She had to touch the ceiling with her fingers to maintain her balance. It caused her breasts to lift as well. When Reece’s eyes grew wider at the sight, she prolonged the stance by stretching.

“Fuck. Hurry up, baby. I want in that hot pussy of yours.”

She didn’t speed up. Instead, she ran her hands down her chest, stopping to pinch her nipples into hard points. Then she continued sliding them down her abdomen until she could slip them beneath her panties. There she rubbed over her smooth pussy in wildly exaggerated moves that soon had Reece cursing and reaching for her.

“Fuck this!” He reached up and ripped her panties off of her.

Raven yelped and lost her balance, but Reece caught her and dragged her down on top of him.

“Don’t tease me when I’m horny, baby. I get a little anxious, and there’s no telling what I might do.”

“I’d say that’s part of the fun.”

“No, this is part of the fun.” He quickly rolled them over until he was straddling her with her hands above her head. “Hold on to the mattress. Don’t let go, no matter what.”

She smiled up into his darkened eyes and grabbed on to the mattress as he slowly stood up and unzipped his jeans.

Chapter Nine

“Yes!”

The sight of Reece’s magnificent cock springing free of his jeans had her mouth watering. He shoved down his jeans until he could step out of them. He was so tall that he had to hunch over to keep his head off the ceiling.

He stepped off the bed and reached into the top drawer of the bedside table and pulled out a condom. He never stopped looking into her eyes as he slowly tore it open with his teeth and rolled it down the long length of his thick dick.

“Spread your legs for me, babe. Nice and wide.” He knelt on the bed between her legs and broke eye contact to gaze down at her pussy, already wet and waiting for him.

He sat back on his heels and smiled as he licked his lips. Watching his tongue roll across his bottom lip tightened things inside her cunt. She wanted him to fuck her. Her body ached for it.

Reece went down on his elbows before spreading her pussy lips wide. His tongue against her most intimate parts startled her at first. She almost lost her grip on the mattress. With each swipe of his tongue, she felt tiny sparks flash all down her spine and deep into her womb. She wanted to squeeze her nipples, pinch and pull on them while Reece licked her pussy.

“Don’t do it. I can see it in your eyes. You want to touch those pretty nipples, don’t you?”

“Please, Reece. I need more.”

He slipped two fingers into her cunt and moved them around. She arched her back at the sudden invasion. Still, it wasn’t enough. She wanted his cock pumping inside of her.

“See why two men can be so much better than one sometimes? If Dominic was here, he would be pinching and twisting and biting on those nipples for you while I take care of this pretty cunt.”

“Where is he?” She couldn’t believe she was asking about another man when she was naked with one who had his fingers deep in her pussy.

“Don’t know. Maybe he’s getting some with one of the other girls.”

“No!” She sat up, furious at the thought.

“Lay. Back. Down. Raven.” He stared her straight in the eyes.

She stared at him for a full second before she did. She didn’t grab hold of the mattress again, though.

“Why does that upset you so much? Huh? I mean, you’re with me right now and not him.”

“I thought you were a team. I thought it was the three of us?” She could feel tears in the backs of her eyes threatening to emerge.

“We are a team. We share women when it suits us, but sometimes it doesn’t. Can you handle both of us at one time or each of us individually, baby?”

“I thought that was what I was doing.”

“Is it? Or are you just using us to keep you safe? If you are, that’s fine, we’ll keep you safe because we gave our word. The thing is, we don’t need you to fuck us for our services. I want to be sure we’re clear on that.”

“You’re an asshole, Reece! You sure as hell made me think that was the deal to begin with.” Raven was confused, hurt, and pissed all at the same time.

She had initially thought they expected her to be their bitch while she was there, but nothing about how they treated her made her feel used. She’d believed it had been a mutual thing between the three of them. Had she been wrong?

“What in the hell is going on?” Dominic walked into the room and slammed the door closed behind him.

Reece pulled away from Raven and leaned on his elbow to look over at Dominic. “We’re having a conversation about why she’s fucking around with us.”

“Aw, hell, Reece. Do you have to fuck up every relationship you start?”

“So this is a relationship? You could have fooled me.” Raven sat up and pulled the sheet off the bed around her.

“Yes. This is a fucking relationship. I don’t know what’s gotten into Reece’s head right now, but we’re going to work this out.”

Reece cursed and rolled off the bed, picking up his jeans in the process. He began to get dressed again.
